Holding An Amway Grand Opening

Seeing as how I get lots of people doing searches on how to do an Amway grand opening and end up at my blog I thought I should write another post about our grand opening for new readers.

The first time I heard the term “grand opening” was when this arrogant prick friend of my husband’s that I have never liked was holding an Amway grand opening and Ambot wanted to stop by the bastard’s house because we were out in the area that day and the bastard was having a BBQ. Though thinking back maybe whatever else we were doing that day was just a ruse to get us in that part of town so we could support his grand opening. I probably said something to the effect what a fucking loser that asshole is for getting involved in Amway and I warned my husband not to buy any of that useless overpriced Amway shit. We got there and I wasn’t impressed with anything but some could say that would probably be mostly due to the fact that I can’t stand the asshole and would never be impressed with anything he’s got going on. My husband poured me an XS energy drink, I think cranberry. I took a sip and told him it tasted like cat piss. I think he was drinking root beer XS so I tried that and told him it tasted like toothpaste that a cat had pissed on. They had a bunch of shitty Amway products on display. I told his wife that we’d been involved in Amway before and hadn’t made any money and we couldn’t persuade anyone we knew to come to Amway meetings or buy any of the shit.

What I didn’t know was that the Amway cult leaders had already started brainwashing my husband. Unfortunately Ambot didn’t learn his lesson the first time around. How’s that quote go? Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. We were doomed to lose more money thanks to his fucking asshole friend and the Amway cult. Except this time was the sheer evil horror of the Amway cult that also brought with it emotional distress because of the horrible evil fucking assholes that were in our Amway WWDB upline. That horror didn’t happen the first time so this was what they meant when they talked about how Amway had changed since the first time we’d been in. Amway now meant dealing with horrible evil scum of the earth greedy bastards out to destroy relationships of anyone who didn’t submit to the Amway cult leaders.

The assholes in our upline said we must hold a “grand opening” as soon as possible after getting started in our Amway business so everyone would know that we were Amway distributors (how embarrassing is that to admit!) and could order products from us. This was also the time to sign up new IBO’s who were interested in starting their own business. Let’s see. Our circle of friends hasn’t changed much in the past 10 years. The people Ambot bugged the last time around in Amway who weren’t interested were the same ones he’d be harrassing again.

We chose a date and decided to hold a BBQ at our house. Amway does not sell stuff normal people would have at a BBQ - hamburgers, buns, condiments, salad, cake, ice cream, etc. Seeing as how Ambot had high expectations of a huge crowd off we went to Costco to stock up for the BBQ.

Grocery bill tally for the BBQ Grand Opening - about $150.

We printed up invitations and gave them out to a lot of people including all neighbors. Ambot actually knocked on doors and spoke with the neighbors and handed them an invitation. He also sniped a few people who happened to be walking past our house while we were outside gardening.

The grand opening was an afternoon event from 1pm to 5pm. Our first guest showed up around 1. He had other plans so was just planning to grab a burger, take a look at some of the Amway products, and hear a little bit about the business.

Actually this fellow was about as close as we ever got to signing up a downline with the exception of the one friend who signed up and then quit a couple of weeks later. This fellow came to a board plan and was interested and liked the IBO’s and their fakey nicey nice act. Then a mutual friend told him Amway was a scam and he backed off. Ambot was pissed off at our friend who had the gall to say Amway is a scam.

Funny how he agrees with that statement now!

Then it got quiet for a couple of hours. Ambot went into the house to watch TV. Things picked up closer to 4pm. Some of our hungry elderly neighbors were happy to come over for free food. One of them even noticed some of the products displayed on a table and triumphantly, disgustedly declared “this is Amway”. A neighbor and his kids came over too. The fellow had never heard of Amway so Ambot gave him a good run down on the business. He was sure he’d found a prospect. Wrong. They moved shortly after that.

Bottom line is as far as promoting the Amway business the grand opening was useless. Like everything else in Amway holding an Amway grand opening is a total waste of time and money. Fortunately most of the food we bought could be frozen or had a good enough shelf life that we were able to consume them later.

Some of the upline dropped by that evening and when they heard that the grand opening resulted in no prospects or customers they tried to get us to hold another grand opening as soon as possible. Nope. Never happened. We could have held a million Amway grand openings and the attendance and results wouldn’t have changed. This was exactly the same thing as happened when we were involved in Amway several years earlier. We invited everyone we knew and lot of people we didn’t know too and maybe a handful showed up for the free food and never resulted in any sales or signing up new IBO’s.

So to the people who keep showing up at my blog looking how to hold an “Amway grand opening” - don’t waste your time or money. Get out now before you face further embarrassment and financial losses and emotional distress.

Amway sucks!

WWDB = World Wide Destructive Bastards and its named that for a reason - it is out to destroy your relationships! WWDB sucks! STAY AWAY!!!!!

But what really sucks are the fucking assholes you’re forced to deal with in your WWDB upline. That is the worst thing about belonging to the Amway cult. The horrible evil people you meet and the way they treat you.

What to do in Denver Colorado instead of Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2012

This post about the things to do in Denver Colorado instead of attending Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2012 is partly borrowed from last year’s post about things to do in Denver during Free Enterprise Days (FED) 2011.

This year the Amway conference WWDB Spring Leadership will be held in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center April 28 and 29 2012.

Keeping up with my theme of finding better and lower priced things to do in cities holding Amway functions, instead of going to the brainwashing convention I’ve tried to round up a few fun things to do in Denver Colorado. Most of the fun things seem to involve driving out of Denver and hitting the ski slopes! Hmm end of April may be a little late for skiing. I’ll see what else I can find.

Who saw the movie Cliffhanger? The Denver Mint was featured in it transporting out of circulation money. Hijacking and plane crashes and action packed scenes. So the United States Mint is a good choice. And its free! Woo hoo! Sucks that you can’t bring your purse into this place. Where you gonna stash some cash! I love that you are allowed to bring your cell phone inside but if you whip it out you will be escorted out by Mint Security. If ambots are visiting they’d have to call in extra security to escort out those damned ambots because of their fuck you I’m better than everyone else attitude and I’ll use my fucking cell phone if I want to! http://www.usmint.gov/mint_tours/index.cfm?action=StartReservation

Coors Brewery Tour - Free tour. Free beer tasting. Need I say anything else? Here’s the website for more info. http://www.millercoors.com/golden-brewery-tour.aspx

Denver Zoo - Oh how I love a zoo! As long as its not the Amway zoo! It is nice that most of the places Amway holds functions have a zoo. Coin toss! Should I visit the baboons at the Denver Zoo or the baboons stomping across the stage at Amway WWDB Spring Leadership? Admission is $15 or slightly cheaper if you’re over 65 years or younger than 12 years. A couple could spend a day at the zoo and go out for a really nice dinner all for less than the cost of one $125 ticket to Spring Leadership. http://www.denverzoo.org/

Denver Art Museum - if you’re into looking at works of art this is the place to be. It costs $13 or slightly cheaper if you’re a Colorado resident. Where’s that coin for the toss? Museum or zoo? Goodbye Picasso hello lions. http://www.denverartmuseum.org/

Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum - I’ve visited a few aircraft museums and this is something I’d consider seeing as how I still haven’t gotten over the Spruce Goose being moved out of Long Beach! Not that goosie is in Colorado. I think it went somewhere in Oregon. Admission is $11. Slightly cheaper if you’re over 65 or under 12. http://www.wingsmuseum.org/

Molly Brown House Museum - If you’re a Titanic trivia buff you’ll enjoy this museum where the unsinkable Molly Brown lived. Admission is $8, slightly cheaper for other age groups. But April is the month to be here because to honor the 100 year anniversary of the disaster all month long they are having Titanic Tours - cost $10.  Lets see. We have our choice. Going to an evening of Amway horrors for $125 or going to a place where someone lived through the horrors of the sinking Titanic. I know which one I’m choosing! http://www.mollybrown.org/

Want to do some shopping? Denver’s 16th Street Mall is a much better place to spend the day than stuck inside an auditorium listening to a bunch of aging Diamonds who use Amway functions to make their real money. Free shuttle buses and free Wifi anywhere up and down the pedestrian mall. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16th_Street_Mall

WWDB Amway Spring Leadership sucks!

And there are better things to do in Denver than attend a fucking Amway function!

Strike 2 For Amway Spring Leadership Henchman!

Here’s a recycled post about the shitty times that are all part of attending WWDB Amway Spring Leadership. Our good buddy the Platinum’s henchman needs a shovel to get out of the shit he created!

Ambot and I were probably the first IBO’s to check in at our hotel for the WWDB Spring Leadership function. We’d left home early, spent all day driving and got there late afternoon. After putting our luggage in the room we headed over to Barnes & Noble to buy a book I wanted to read on the weekend and then out for dinner. IBO’s were arriving by the time we got back to the hotel.

The two employees working the hotel counter looked frazzled. And no wonder. They were dealing with the Platinum’s henchman. I gather there’d been a number of no shows and the problem was the henchman had been screwing around with people’s hotel reservations on the WWDB blocked rooms like he’d tried to do with Ambot. Except now he was on the hook because he’d used his own credit card to guarantee the rooms when he was so busy reassigning everyone and now he was holding empty hotel rooms with no live bodies to put in them and he was arguing with the staff about how his credit card was being charged for the empty rooms. He arrived too late to cancel the rooms and incurred a one night fee on all of them.

To give the henchman credit - or lack thereof - I doubt the asshole thought about messing around with hotel rooms all on his own. The only possible reason he’d have done this was on the direct orders of the sack of shit Platinum who must have decided they better have empty rooms available for the dozens of guests and prospects they’d been so sure were going to make the pilgrimage to attend Spring Leadership and see what this awesome Amway business opportunity was all about. Except the prospects/newbies were all no shows leaving the henchman with a hotel bill for quite a few empty rooms that he was trying to argue about with the staff who were charging him $100 x number of rooms for one night’s cancellation policy. Most hotels have a policy that you use a credit card to guarantee your room if you plan to arrive late, say after 6pm. That way the hotel will hold the room for you all night instead of selling it to someone who walks in off the street. If you don’t show up or don’t cancel the room before the cut off time your credit card will be charged for one night’s stay.

I’m not sure how that turned out but I hope the hotel stuck to their guns and didn’t reverse the credit card charge. Would serve the henchman right. I mean what a dumb ass thing to do. Serves the bastard right for listening to the dumb ass Platinum!

Oh and interestingly enough the sack of shit Platinum was staying at another hotel that he deemed to be a better hotel. The only IBO’s “allowed” to stay at that other hotel were those making it in the business, not the rest of us lowly bastards. Ha ha, him and his wife were sharing a room with at least one other couple that we knew of, maybe more. I guess that kills the mood if romance is in the air! Or I suppose it heightens the mood if orgy is in the air! Damn if I’d known he was staying at the other hotel I’d have booked a room there just to piss off the bastard!

And to chalk up another hotel room getting charged to the henchman’s credit card!

Yeah! Amway WWDB Spring Leadership sucks!!!!

What to do in Washington DC instead of Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2012

This year WWDB Amway is holding Spring Leadership in Washington DC on April 21 and 22 2012 in the Westin Washington Dulles Airport.

I am not familiar at all with this hotel but a quick Google search takes me to their web page and I found the information for their meeting and banquet rooms. The banquet rooms are smaller but 3 or 4 of them walls can be opened up to hold 380 people. Or open up a bunch of them to get what is called the ballroom and that holds 600 people. So there you have it. Choose an option. 600 or 380 ambots. At $125 ticket. $75,000 or $47,500. I have no idea what the cost to rent the facility is for the entire weekend but lets call it $20,000 for the sake or argument. And another $5,000 into WWDB’s bank account for booking and all the other trouble they go to. Ha ha! It would suck if you’re the Diamond(s) at the Washington DC Spring Leadership. Small room = smaller number of attendees = less tool scam money. Lets say high case scenario 600 ambots. After the hotel and WWDB are paid that’s $55,000 to be split amongst the Diamonds. Certainly not too shabby an amount for scamming people but there will be infighting for sure. There was probably already Diamond fighting over who was going to get stuck with the small event and less money in their wallet.

Amway WWDB Spring Leadership Washington DC is an unfortunate conflict for some good little ambots because there is another Amway conference happening in Spokane the same weekend April 20, 21, 22 2012. I can imagine the torture and anguish as those bastards try to figure out how to be in 2 different places at the same time on opposite coasts! Ha ha!

This also does bring a question to mind. Spring Leadership costs $125 for the weekend. It would appear the ambots attending Spring Leadership in Spokane are getting more bang for their buck than the ambots attending Spring Leadership in Washington DC. That is because Spokane is 3 days and Washington DC WWDB Spring Leadership is 2 days. So are the ambots in Washington DC bitching about being ripped off? Well they should be bitching about being ripped off anyway because this is all part of the Amway tool scam. Or are the ambots going to Spokane so fucking dense that they need an extra day to “get it”?

Either way this means another one of my posts where I find things to do in town instead of attending World Wide Dream Builders Amway Spring Leadership brainwashing conference. I would recommend staying at home - save time and money instead of blowing it on the Amway tool scam plus the costs getting and staying in Washington DC. Somehow I think it would be a little cheaper to stay in Spokane instead of DC but the airfare has gotta be a bitch! Anyway gotta get some more keywords in cause I got lots of ambots searching for how they can be brainwashed at Spring Leadership which means I gotta get going on my ambot travel guides for Honolulu, Minneapolis, Denver and Calgary. I’ve already covered Spokane and Las Vegas Amway conference WWDB Spring Leadership 2012.

I found a website that highlights 100 free of nearly free things to do in Washington DC. Uh huh. Almost sounds like being in Tijuana - almost free! http://washington.org/visiting/browse-dc/attractions/100-free-things-to-do

How about taking a tour of the White House? I’ve never done it but my aunt did and she said it was free. She had to write a letter to her congressman requesting the tour and sure enough the web page I found here says pretty much the same thing so it does require a little advance planning. You can be pretty darned sure they’re running a security check on everyone before they get accepted for a tour. http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/tours-and-events

Or you could just walk past 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and take pictures. Beats sitting inside an Amway meeting!

Actually if it was me I’d just keep walking and head to the Washington Mall and take pictures of Capitol Hill and the monuments and memorials.

Visiting the Smithsonian Museum is a much more interesting and educational way to spend the day than being brainwashed at an Amway meeting. Can’t beat the price - free! - 10am to 5:30pm.

The National Zoo is a great way to spend a day. And a much better deal than shelling out big bucks for Amway WWDB Spring Leadership. Yup another freebie! Go visit the lions and tigers display and imagine what fun it would be to set these big cats loose inside an Amway convention! Yeah! I would pay for that! As long as I had a safe viewing area that is!

If you’d like to walk in George Washington’s footsteps it might be worth while to take a short drive out of DC and head to Virginia where Mount Vernon mansion is located. Tours cost $15. Slightly less if you’re over 62 or under 12. http://www.mountvernon.org/

So there you have it. Much better things to choose from in Washington DC instead of wasting time getting brainwashed at an Amway function.

Amway WWDB Spring Leadership sucks!

The Dude In The Suit

Amway ambots are told by the Amway cult leaders that they have to wear business suits for all Amway meetings and anytime they are meeting with prospects they’re hoping to recruit into the Amway pyramid scheme.

What ambots fail to realize that just because they throw on a business suit and carry a cell phone doesn’t make them real “business owners”. They are still pretend business owners.

If someone is already established within their friends, family, and coworkers as a casual dresser, seeing them in a suit outside of church is going to raise eyebrows and wonder about this sudden weird obsession playing dress up.

Years ago I remember hearing the phrase to dress for success. That might have been true in decades past. I remember going to the bank when I was younger and the men were wearing suits and the women wore business-like dresses. You go into a bank now and there might be some staffers wearing suits but the majority are dressed more casually.

Dressing casually puts your customers at ease. If you’re wearing jeans and a golf shirt and you walk into a place full of suits your first impression is boy am I in the wrong place and you want to get the hell out of there ASAP!

Years ago I worked for a company that occupied a 3 story building. About 100 employees. Takes awhile to get to know everyone, especially the people who work on other floors. I was dropping something off on another floor and I’m not sure what was happening, some kind of scuffle at the fax machine. There were about 5 or 6 different fax numbers going to different departments and I have a feeling that someone had faxed the wrong number and the man who needed the information was standing guard at the fax machine waiting for it and being snarly about it. One of the women returned to her desk muttering about the dude in the suit. I took a peak. Sure enough this guy looked like he was dressed for a funeral. Neither of us knew who he was. The dress code for our office was casual so he did look out of place. The only “suits” were the president and occasionally senior management staff depending on whether they were in meetings that day. Except for the dude in the black funeral suit. Right up until the last day I worked for that place I never saw Mr. Dude-in-the-suit dressed casually.

I knew someone who worked in the human resources department for a large corporation and their department was responsible for dress codes. The workplace was business casual and she said she had to keep up with the current fashion trends and make adjustments to their policy to stay modern and up to date. In this day and age women are not required to wear dresses in the workplace. If they do, pantyhose is optional. (not in Amway by the way!) Most companies I worked for were casual dress codes. They didn’t want us wearing torn clothing, T-shirts, baseball caps, and anything that would be more appropriate at the beach. Women can still look good in a dress shirt, capris or knee length shorts, and casual footwear. Many businesses have Friday as a jeans day. Maybe that works better in other climates. Many companies I worked for had jeans day every Friday or pay day Fridays but the problem is its so hot outside who wants to wear jeans. No thanks. Casual attire shorts or capris that I wore the rest of the week is a much better choice. Most business owners and managers have figured out that people who are comfortable with what they’re wearing are comfortable interacting with others and can be more productive in the workplace. Beats resenting the boss cause he’s making you wear a monkey suit!

What ambots fail to realize is that they’re behind the times and they do not keep up with current fashion trends the way real business owners do. Business suits worn ALL the time are a thing of the past in the workplace. Smart business people know they need to put others at ease. Dressing casually means a casual atmosphere and casual people are comfortable in their surroundings. A business suit in McDonalds or Dunkin’ Donuts sticks out like a sore thumb. And is a sure fire sign that the wearer of such a garment in one of those places is in an MLM. I saw a man in a business suit in Krispy Kreme a few weeks ago looking anxiously at the door wondering when the prospect he’d set up a meeting with was going to walk in. If the prospect was smart - never. I spotted that bastard as soon as I walked in and guessed he’s probably an ambot. Avoid eye contact at all costs!

Amway is way behind the times with its male chauvinist pig attitude, decades old dress code, using obsolete technology (Communikate), and unable to jump into the 21st century and keep up with current fashion trends.

It is not necessary to wear business suits to BBQ’s, coffee shops, meetings in someone’s living room, or while sitting in the stands at an arena listening to Amway cult leaders spout off their bullshit. It is especially not necessary to wear heavy suits/dresses/pantyhose when the temperatures are skyrocketing. Wearing a business suit only impresses the Amway cult leader who ordered you to wear it to show your obedience to the asshole. Save the suits for church, funerals, job interviews, and other important events. There is nothing about Amway that is important enough to wear a suit!

Quit Amway and have the freedom to wear the clothes you want to wear. The same type of clothes that everyone else is wearing. No need to stick out like a geek anymore!

So yup, one more time I send a big old fuck you out to our Amway upline and their century old attitude.

What is there to do in Spokane Instead of WWDB Amway Spring Leadership 2012?

This year WWDB Amway is holding Spring Leadership in Spokane on April 20, 21, 22 2012 in the Spokane Arena.

So that means another one of my posts where I find things to do in town instead of attending Spring Leadership. Actually sitting in your hotel room watching TV would be more productive than attending the Spring Leadership brainwashing session. Staying at home would save you time and money instead of blowing it on the Amway tool scam and the incidental costs incurred getting and staying there. Anyway gotta get some keywords in cause I got lots of ambots searching which unfortunately means I gotta get going on the other cities besides Spokane too. That would include Las Vegas, Denver, Washington DC, Honolulu, Minneapolis and Calgary. Amway conference WWDB Spring Leadership 2012.

Now what really sucks is that I could have sworn last year I devoted a post about what there was to do in Spokane and I was going to recycle it but I guess I didn’t or else there was nothing going on in Spokane last year. So I’m kind of flying blind here. No insult to anyone from Spokane but it does not seem to be on the radar as far as exciting tourist destinations go. Apparently some Amway cult leaders live in the area. I had to look on a map to find it. Washington! Looks to be east of Seattle by a couple hundred miles maybe? Near the Idaho border. Kind of off the beaten path.

This was a difficult task. I tried my old friend Trip Advisor and mostly all I came up with were parks, a place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables (a total no-no for ambots who are supposed to consume Nutrilite vitamins instead!), biking trails, and river rafting.

So then I found the visit Spokane website http://www.visitspokane.com/ and clicked on events for April 20 2012 and the first thing that comes up is something that looks like fun called Dummy Downhill last day of the season at a tubecoaster ski hill. Dummy sounds like a good name to throw around at Amway conventions so I looked a little closer at it and its some event held in Kelowna, British Columbia. What the fuck? Says its about 5 hours NW of Spokane!!! Like what the hell is that doing in there. I would hardly call that a “nearby” event to take in while visiting Spokane but when you’re that far out in the boonies perhaps 5 hours is the closest town to get to for some fun. The next event listed is also at the same fucking ski hill! So I go a couple down the events list and find something called Best of the Suspense Classics, Anatomy of a Murder. OK now this sounds like something decent for a Scamway weekend. Held at the Bing Crosby theater http://www.bingcrosbytheateradvocates.org/Advocates/Welcome.html

Spokane Riverfront Park http://spokaneriverfrontpark.com/ - I don’t know. The name is not appealing to me. I think of rivers as mosquito spawning grounds. Not to mention you don’t know what kind of evil river serpents are swimming around in there. Oh. I guess that would just be the Amway upline! It looks like they’re open for business starting the week before Amway WWDB Spring Leadership and a one day pass is $19.95 and includes rides on a ferris wheel, bumper cars, tilt a whirl, a carousel, and other rides that all sound a little tame to me.

Spokane Falls Skyride http://spokaneriverfrontpark.com/index.php/RFP/page/360/ - costs $7.50 or a little less if you’re a kid or a senior. The picture shows riding in an enclosed gondola and getting near the spray. For a 15 minute ride it looks like it might be fun more so if water splashes inside the gondolas!

So sorry folks, kind of coming up dry in this town. But you don’t need to be dry. Surprisingly there are a few wineries in the area. Grapes grow well in Spokane? Try Arborcrest Wine Cellars http://www.arborcrest.com/ . They are having a tulip festival in April so it looks like a chance to see some pretty spring flowers in bloom.

Signing off!

8 Things You Shouldn’t Do If You’re An Amway Ambot

Well there’s a whole lot more than eight things an ambot shouldn’t do but I saw this article titled 8 Things You Shouldn’t Do At Work and decided to find a way to make it apply to Amway ambots. Except that ambots will never follow these guidelines because they’re a bunch of arrogant assholes who think they’re better than everyone else because they’re in Amway. Being polite, respectful, and courteous to others does not apply when you’re in the Amway cult.

  1. Talking too loudly on the phone - Yup all those rotten lousy ambots full of self importance at being a “business owner” have a phone plastered to their ear EVERYWHERE yapping away loudly so everyone around them can tell how “important” they are doing business on their cell phone. Get a clue you fucking ambots! Nobody wants to listen to your side of the conversation! Go somewhere else and pretend to be big shot dicks!
  2. Listening to loud music or videos - AAACCCKKKK!!!!! I could just scream whenever my Ambot or another ambot insisted on sticking a CD into the car’s player or their portable unit and crank up the volume! FUCK!!!!! Turn off that fucking piece of shit! The rest of us who aren’t brainwashed ambots don’t give a shit about what that fucking Diamond has to say! Where’s the sledge hammer??????
  3. Messing up the (kitchen) auditorium -  Ambots are slobs! Every Scamway meeting we attended the ambots would bring overpriced snacks - XS cat piss drink, (not)Perfect Water, and shitty food bars. They’d leave their trash on the floor under the seats when they leave. Is it so difficult to pick up your fucking Amway trash and carry it outside to the nearest garbage can? Fucking ambots with a sense of entitlement - Oh the arena has hired a janitor to pick up after us. I’ll give you a little message from that janitor. “Fuck you ambot slobs!”
  4. Bringing your kids into the office too much - I had trouble with this one until I read down and article substituted kids with spouse or friends. So lets just go with:
    • Bringing your wife to Amway meetings too much - especially when your wife don’t want to be there. Nobody wants to watch their significant other being brainwashed into a cult and watch their bank account dwindle and their debt increase. Leave her at home or there will be hell to pay somewhere down the road!
  5. Crowding everyone’s inbox - Everyone in our World Wide Destructive Bastards line had to sign up for a Yahoo Group account so the cult leaders could send messages. Yeah like we don’t get enough junk and spam showing up in our inbox without Amway’s fucking cult leaders adding to it. Same thing with text messages. Never ending deluge!
  6. Being a Debbie Downer? - what the fuck I’ve never heard that term before. Bottom line it means someone negative. Ambots are the most negative people I know. Always going around predicting doom and gloom. This business and that business and the other business are all closing down, going bankrupt, whatever. Everyone will be dead or broke by the time they’re 65 - except of course for Amway ambots.
  7. Texting in the elevator - Or texting anywhere else! Those fucking Amway ambots always got their cell phones either on a car or texting trying to look big and important. Fucking morons! Those texts from the upline go on late in the evening often the wee hours of the morning and then start up again around 6am. Mostly our sack of shit Platinum. Fuck you asshole just because you drank a bunch of XS piss water and can’t sleep get off your fucking phone and give us a break!
  8. Dressing Inappropriately - what’s with this wearing a business suit to a BBQ? What’s this with wearing a business suit at night? What’s this with wearing a business suit to a cult meeting? Those fucking Amway ambots can’t figure it out that people can dress casually and comfortably and not look like slobs. Its not all about the suit! Its all about the control issue when you’re being brainwashed by a cult. Wear a fucking suit cause I said so and I’m your cult leader so you better fucking listen to me!!!!
No ambot will ever follow these guidelines. Ambots have their heads so far up their asses that they don’t see how everyone looks at them as a bunch of arrogant obnoxious assholes.

And the one thing you should do when you are no longer in the Amway cult? Apologize to everyone you treated badly because they would not support your phony business in the Amway pyramid scheme. Apologizing to everyone who you pissed off with the above 8 points is a good start.

How to Cancel Communikate

I get dozens of people show up at my blog after Googling “how to cancel Communikate” or how they can communicate (ha ha! Get it?) with someone at Communikate.

They end up at my post Communikate Makes IBO’s Superior Over Other IBO’s  where a reader put in the toll free number to Communikate 1-866-333-3204. I have not tried to phone that number. For all I know it goes to a sex chat line so phone at your own risk!

Here I want to say that one of the dumbest thing we used to hear from the assholes in our upline when they wanted us to sign up for Communikate and make the Amway cult leaders richer was that they called it a “personal assistant”. Now when I think of personal assistant this is usually someone who tags around with the person paying their salary and helping them keep their life organized. This could be a whole bunch of things - grocery shopping, picking up the kids from school, walking the dog, running errands, meal planning, keeping the house tidy and organized (not necessarily as a housecleaner), running to Starbucks to pick up snacks, or whatever tasks they’ve agreed upon. A woman I worked with over 20 years ago quit and took a job as the personal assistant to a president of a big company. Now some might think that was working in the office in a clerical type of role, but no it was more keeping his homelife organized. One of her first tasks when she was hired was to take the kids on vacation to Hawaii because the old man had promised them a trip there but was too busy to take them.

So those are the things I think of that a personal assistant does.

What does an Amway ambot think a personal assistant does? They think a personal assistant is renting a toll free phone number that takes messages, call forwards a phone call, and does conference calls.

What the fuck? What kind of fucking moron thinks a personal assistant is an automated phone system? A fucking brainwashed Amway ambot! Those brainwashed fools don’t realize they are being scammed and their beloved cult leaders are raking in the dough if they’re foolish enough to sign up for Communikate aka “kate” aka personal assistant.

The majority of people who sign up with Amway usually quit within a year. They now have the problem of cancelling this voice mail system that isn’t worth the $36.95/month or however much the ambots are paying into it these days. Like anything else to do with Amway signing up is easy but trying to quit or get your money back pretty much means promising your first born.

Here’s a former employee with his views on Communikate.

I worked for Webley (company that owns communikate) and yes, it is a scam, the uplines get kickbacks, that's why they push it. They make it super hard to cancel now, you can no longer call to cancel, too many were canceling! They now have chat support, but you cannot cancel by chat, we're supposed to call them and pressure the Amwayers to keep using Communikate. Free tip: Accounts NEVER go to collections, just change your payment method to something incorrect and the account will close itself in a few months. Got questions, ask away?

The amount the uplines receive differs according to the specific deal they have with the respective group, BRITT, WWG, etc. It ranges from $5 to $10 per sign up. "Diamond" level people get special treatment. Another fun tip: Due to Webley's ridiculous billing practice we have gotten many of our clients Debit cards cancelled, it's true! We bill monthly for the service (36.95) but we ALSO bill separately for usage, which usually runs between .25 to .75 cent for most users. These tiny, stupid charges are tagged as "potential fraud" charges by 99% of banks and they "lock" the cards. Lots of people have had important charges for other recurring services bounce back thanks to Webley's stupidity and refusal to make even a tiny good faith effort to better serve their customers. Now you know!

So there you have it. A bit of inside scoop on the deals the Amway cult leaders make with Communikate to get their piece of the pie. Just for those doubting ambots who don’t believe the tool scam.

From the sound of things I would suggest that if you want to cancel Communikate the easiest option might be to call your bank and say you lost your credit card and get a new one issued. The next time Communikate tries to charge the old credit card number, bouncey, bouncey!

And less money in some Diamonds pockets the next month! Oh wouldn’t you like to be in the room when the Diamonds are fighting over how they’ll split up the Communikate profits!

Or listening in on the telephone when the Diamond phones the Platinum to give him shit that someone in his downline just cancelled Communikate!

What is there to do in Las Vegas Instead of WWDB Amway Spring Leadership 2012

This year WWDB Amway is holding Spring Leadership in Las Vegas on April 13, 14, 15 2012 in the Orleans Arena.

So that means another one of my posts where I find things to do in town instead of attending Spring Leadership. Actually sitting in your hotel room watching TV would be more productive than attending the Spring Leadership brainwashing session. But Las Vegas is a town devoted to entertaining its visitors so there are no shortage of things to do in this city that never sleeps. The thing that everyone associates Las Vegas with is gambling. Some people who’ve never been don’t realize there are other things to do. A foreign concept to Amway IBO’s who probably think there is nothing else to do in this town except attend an Amway function called Spring Leadership. When you’re an ambot in love with Amway all you can say is - “what else is there”.

Anna Banana has spent time working in Las Vegas years ago. I love this city but I don’t go back to visit as often as I’d like. I’ve got a few things to share about hanging out in Las Vegas instead of attending a shitty Amway function like WWDB Spring Leadership 2012.

Long gone are the days in Las Vegas when casinos were trying to lure in gamblers with all you can eat buffets under $10. These days the hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard have increased the quality and selection of the food at their buffets and likewise the price has jumped up. Dinner at an all you can eat will cost $20, more if you eat somewhere like at the Bellagio. Non-buffet restaurants in the hotel/casinos run what you’d pay for a medium priced meal anywhere else in the country - $10 to $20 entrees, most meals OK but not usually worth the money. The best bang for your buck is to head downtown to the older hotels/casinos in the Fremont Street Experience. Here you will find all you can eat buffets under $10 - barely. Most of the hotel/casinos here have decent non-buffet meals for under $10. You might still find one of those infamous shrimp cocktails for a buck or two. If you weigh over 350 pounds you can eat for free at the Heart Attack Grill.

Nightlife - again Las Vegas has no shortage of options. Most hotels give you a coupon book when you check in and you might be lucky to find a 2 for 1 coupon at a show you might actually like to see. Unfortunately you will not see the twofers to Celine Dion or Elton John. Not even Donny and Marie! All these acts cost over $100 per person. There is also several booths called Half Price Tickets or maybe its Half Price Shows I don’t remember exactly which its called and you can ask them what prices they have for some acts. Usually the good shows you want to see are not half price but they have a small discount. Don’t confuse them with the time share salespeople who are as bad as Amway salesmen and will pop up everywhere wanting to give you free tickets and free meals. Yeah if you don’t mind sitting through a 3 hour high pressured sales presentation for a time share condo. Some people don’t mind don’t mind doing that for the freebies! And at least they give you freebies for sitting through their sales pitch. Amway ambots don’t give you piss all.

Should be interesting having a flock of Amway salespeople in town looking for new recruits and the only people who want to talk to them are time share salespeople. Who’s going to win that round?

Free nightlife - yes there are a few free things to do at night in Las Vegas. The Treasure Island Hotel has a pirate ship show. I hate to give out wrong times but I think the first show is at 7pm and it goes every hour and a half until around 11pm. The times are posted on the sidewalk near the show area. Get there ahead of time because this place gets PACKED with people crowded all over the sidewalks and viewing areas. Next door at the Mirage is a volcano that erupts starting (I think) at 7pm and every hour until midnight. The Bellagio Hotel has a fountain and light and music show that starts sometime in the afternoon and goes until midnight every 15 minutes a new musical selection.

Of course just people watching and going for a walk and looking at all the lights and displays is entertainment in itself.

Also free (maybe) but not open at night is the car museum at the Imperial Palace Hotel http://autocollections.com/ Go to the tab that says free admission and print out a couple of free passes. If you forget most hotels in Las Vegas give you a coupon book when you register and it almost always includes a free admission to the car museum or a twofer. If you forget your free pass admission is $8.95 which is still a pretty good deal if you like collectible cars.

If you’re not afraid of heights you can go up the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel or way down off the Strip way past on the other side of Circus Circus is a hotel called the Stratosphere and there’s an elevator up to a viewing area and some amusement park attractions up there that will cure your fear of heights if you go on them because you’ll probably die of a heart attack! Watch your coupon books. These places have twofers.

Fremont Street Experience is downtown Las Vegas where some old hotels like the Golden Nugget, 4 Queens, and Fitzgeralds are located and have cheaper prices than hotels on the Strip. The area was closed off to cars years ago. There is often some kind of musical act playing on a stage that doesn’t cost anything to watch. At night there is a light show on the domed roof with a musical accompaniment that you can’t hear because of the disco sound system blasting out of all the casinos on Fremont. If you’re not afraid of heights there is a zip line that takes you from one end to partly down Fremont Street, maybe a block or so ride, costs $10 or $15 depends if you zip at night or day.

Want to see the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon? Either rent a car or there are a bunch of bus tours that take you and will pick up/drop off at your hotel. Starts around $30 depends what you’re doing and if you choose a tour that includes Liberace’s museum or a buffet lunch somewhere.

So there you have it. Lots of things to do in Las Vegas either for free or on the cheap that won’t cost you as much as it does to go to WWDB Amway Spring Leadership 2012. Not to mention lots more fun! This is a town built for fun! Don’t wreck it by going to a fucking stupid Amway convention!

Oh and if anyone wants to search out Anna Banana’s favorite Las Vegas treat - go to Fremont Street and look for the Mermaids Casino. Inside there is a snack bar where you can buy a frozen banana on a stick dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts! Yummy!

And let me sign off as I usually do with one of these posts!

The Creepy Henchman of Amway WWDB Spring Leadership

Seeing as how I don’t have anything new to add about Amway WWDB Spring Leadership here is a rehash of one of my favorite posts.

There’s a little creep who kisses the Platinum’s ass. I’ll call him the henchman.

Somehow the henchman has access to the hotel reservations that the IBO’s in his Line Of Sponsorship have reserved on the WWDB website for the Spring Leadership convention. Desperate to find something in his life that he can monopolize, a few days before Spring Leadership he moves all the hotel reservations for everyone in our LOS under his name. Of course he now has to use his own credit card number to guarantee all these hotel rooms.

What a fucking moron! Why would he do this? Does he not realize that if nobody shows up to use these rooms and pays him back his credit card is on the hook for any hotel reservations that are not cancelled prior to the hotel’s cut off time. Empty full or anywhere inbetween his credit card will be charged for all hotel reservations under his name unless he cancels them by whatever time the hotel has in their contract. I have no idea what this hotel’s cancellation policy cut off time is. 5pm? 6pm? 24 hours in advance?

The henchman phones Ambot and gloats about what he’s done and tells Ambot he does not have his own room anymore and he’s been assigned to share a hotel room with 3 guys in their twenties. OK lets call Ambot a spade. No let’s call him an old geezer. No old geezer who can afford their own hotel room and wants their privacy wants to do sharesies with 3 kids in their 20’s who are more interested in partying than attending Spring Leadership. And sharesies means another guy in the bed too because there are only two beds per room. I can understand why some people need to share hotel rooms to save on hotel costs. Not everyone wants or needs to double up.

Ambot is PISSED! He doesn’t want to share a bed with anyone but me! He has no idea how the henchman managed to steal the hotel room away from him when he booked it in his name and used his credit card to guarantee the room. But because the hotels are booked through the WWDB website there must be some way that upline can manipulate their downline’s hotel bookings.

So I’m sitting here listening to Ambot rant about all this bullshit. He must have picked up his ranting skills from sitting in on too many Amway cult meetings run by the sack of shit Platinum!

The longer I listen the more I’m pissed. But I’m more pissed off because I don’t want Ambot driving long distance to Spring Leadership by himself because those two bastards cancelled the day before. I’ve also had it with listening to how the henchman scooped Ambot’s hotel room. I checked the hotel’s web page where hotel reservations can be booked online and there is still availability.

I told Ambot I’m going with him and to phone the henchman and tell him to give back his hotel room. If he doesn’t want to do that then he’s to tell the henchman that I am coming along for the trip and we’ll be booking our own hotel room either in that hotel or somewhere else doesn’t matter to me where we stay. I point out to Ambot that the henchman had to give his credit card number to guarantee the room when he stole it away from Ambot. If no one shows up to use that room the henchman is going to get stuck with the bill for at least one night. What do we care? I’m not really sure how he was able to do that other than the fact that it was a block of WWDB rooms rather than booked directly with the hotel so he may have had some “in” to do this.

Now the henchman joins the pissed off club demanding to know why I’m going to Spring Leadership. Ambot explains to him that I am now the designated co-driver seeing as how everyone else buggered out on  him. The henchman is not happy and to retaliate he tells Ambot the hotel is fully booked. Ambot points out that on their web page the online reservations says they have rooms available.

Now I get worried thinking the henchman might know something I don’t know and I phone the hotel to double check. The clerk tells me they have availability and quotes me a price. I tell him I might have to phone back to book a room. After a few minutes the henchman phones back and tells Ambot he put the hotel room back in his name.

So away we go. Road trip! The only thing that would have made it better was if Ambot wasn’t wasting his time and money at a stupid Amway function.

Amway World Wide Dream Builders Spring Leadership sucks!

Make Less Money in Scamway!

This is kind of a part 2 to my post Is $75,000 the Magical Platinum Income?

This is where I wonder why people who own their own businesses or work a job for somebody else and earn over $75,000/year - the bullshit hyped income a Platinum supposedly earns - would consider getting into Amway and take a drop in their earnings. A huge drop it turns out because only a tiny fraction of 1% of IBO’s will ever make that kind of money in Amway. System is designed for failure. If people who are considering Amway want to own their own business, just about every other business opportunity out there will bring them a much better income than they could make in Scamway.

There are reasons why people decide to take a job where they earn less income than they currently do - cutting back hours, taking a less stressful job, taking a job that’s closer to home, taking a job somewhere else in the country where they want to live. There are lots of possibilities.

But why in the hell would someone consider taking a commissioned sales job where all kinds of phony numbers are thrown at you and you’re told about all the money you can expect to make in Amway? Ha! Yeah right! Especially since no one in our upline ever showed us a profit and loss statement, their income tax returns, or copies of monthly commission checks from Amway. Nobody had any proof of the fabulous income they were making in Amway.

I think my Ambot saw all those numbers and thought after a couple of years he could just sit back with his feet up and have thousands of dollars in residual income rolling in every month for the rest of his life. I think a lot of ambots see the same thing, an especially attractive picture for people in their retirement years where they can have lots of money rolling in monthly when they do not work. There are other investment opportunities that will allow people to have residual income in their retirement years. Involvement in the Amway scam will drain the retirement savings not increase a person’s net worth.

I think Ambot saw his friend Captain Fuck Up get involved in Scamway. He met the Amway cult leaders and liked them and thought these would be a good group of new friends. Except these are the type of friends you have to pay in order to be friends with them. Put money into Amway and the tool scam type of friends. Not my kind of friends.

So Ambot believed all the lies the Amway cult leaders told him about how much money there was to be made if he got involved in the Amway scam. He’d be a millionaire in a couple of years. He’d be able to buy mansions with cash, sports cars with cash, travel first class and walk the beaches of the world.

I think the main motivating factor about getting involved in Amway was what if this was really legit. What if there really was a chance that he would be rich in a couple of years and he did not jump on the bandwagon and take advantage of the Scamway opportunity. What if Captain Fuck Up made lots of money in Amway. The thought of that fucking bastard doing financially better than him must have motivated Ambot to sign up with Scamway.

Oh in case anyone is wondering, that lousy son of a bitch Captain Fuck Up is still renting the same hovel he’s been living in for the past 10+ years, still getting eviction notices cause he’s always late with the rent, constantly having his utilities and cell phone shut off for not paying the bills, etc, etc. Lousy credit, can’t hold down a job. Yeah this is a really good person to take business advice from!

Ambot got brainwashed. He met people that he liked and the only way he was allowed to spend time with them was to invest heavily in Amway products and motivational materials. The bullshit secrets to Amway success.

Amway cult leaders promised their followers that if they sign up for Amway, attend all cult meetings and Amway functions, buy Amway products, invest in the tool scam, etc then after 2 to 5 years they will be rewarded by having residual income rolling in for the rest of their lives. And they won’t have to work again.

Such an attractive proposition to people. They don’t want to see Amway as a scam but they want to see it as their sole income source. As people get older and thinking about retiring they are probably still looking for income sources. When it comes to Amway - KEEP LOOKING!

But I think there is always that niggling doubt in the back of people’s minds. What if. What if the promised income really is true. And what if they don’t take advantage of the opportunity. And what if their sponsor is they one who gets rich and then gloats at them how they missed the bus.

Uh huh.

Hop on the Amway truck before its too late!

Ambot Conference 2012

Ha ha! The title of today’s blog comes from a person doing a Google search and typed in “ambot conference Las Vegas 2012”.

OK I’m not going to pick on Las Vegas for this blog - could be any city - and put my own spin on an ambot conference!

The ambot conference is more commonly referred to as an Amway WWDB World Wide Dream Builder function. There are 4 in the year. Dream Night in January, Spring Leadership in April, Family Reunion in July, and Free Enterprise Days FED in October. Except for last year when someone at WWDB fucked up and didn’t book it in time and had to move it to November, the first date the arena was available. Some of these functions are held in more than one town.

Forcing ambots to attend the next ambot conference begins around the time the last conference ends. The Amway cult leaders pressure their downline to buy tickets NOW for the next Amway function. Gotta get that tool scam money rolling in for the cult leaders just in case any ambots quit over the next couple of months. So lets get the ticket buying out of the way. Call it $125, though some ambot conferences are more and some are less.

As it gets closer to the big date of the ambot conference the ambot must secure a hotel room. There are usually blocked hotel rooms on the WWDB web page where they’ve secured a group or conference rate. It doesn’t hurt to check with the hotel directly for a better price. Some hotels give good discounts to AAA members. Also some travel websites like http://www.hotels.com/ and http://www.priceline.com/ may get you a better discount. Lets call the hotel room an even $100/night even though some will argue a Motel 6 will be cheaper or the Hyatt will be more expensive, I’m calling it mid range and working with round numbers. Amway WWDB functions are notoriously held on weekends when hotel rooms are generally more expensive.

Lets think about this. Why not hold the function during the week when hotel rooms are cheaper? After all ambots are self employed business owners aren’t they? When you own your own business you can choose the days you take off work.

For argument’s sake lets say the ambot conference is held in a city that takes 5 hours to drive to. So that means the ambot gets driving sometime in the morning. Oh. Got to fill the car with gas. $50 down the hatch and the ambot is only a few miles down the road. After a couple of hours ambot is hungry and thirsty. Got to stop for lunch. There’s a Denny’s! Lets call it 2 people eating lunch because ambot has probably dragged the wife along. Lunch comes to $30 for a couple of burger plates and sodas and tip.

An hour down the road car is thirsty again. Drop another $50 into the gas tank.

Finally reach the hotel mid to late afternoon. Got a couple of free hours before the Friday night portion of the ambot conference gets underway. During this time dinner is required. No Denny’s in sight but the hotel either has a restaurant or there’s one nearby a little more expensive than Dennys. Lets say dinner costs $40 for 2.

Yikes! Ambots have already spent $170 in gas and food!

Add in the conference tickets ($250 for 2 people) and 2 nights hotel that is prepaid for ($200) and thats another $450 and they haven’t even stepped inside the ambot conference yet.

Friday night at the ambot conference is a bunch of patriotic rah rah get the crowd hyped up brainwashing stuff. But the ambot still has to put in 5 hours - arriving early to stand in line before door opens and sitting in the auditorium until around midnight getting brainwashed by the cult leaders.

Ambot is hungry again. Good thing there’s a 24 hour McDonald’s drive thru on the way back to the hotel. $15 for late night snack for 2 people bringing today’s expenses for food and gas up to $185. Need some nourishment for the Night Owl that the sack of shit Platinum has commanded all his cult followers to attend.

Saturday morning breakfast! Call it another $30 for 2 people. Maybe they drive around town until they find an IHOP or Dennys.

Saturday at the ambot conference is spent listening to a bunch of greedy Amway Diamonds yap about “the business” - without ever giving any concrete advice and trying to avoid mentioning the “A” word - and showing pictures and videos of their mansions, sports cars, private airplanes, luxury vacations, etc all while taunting the audience “wouldn’t you like to have what we have?” This part of the ambot conference drags on again until midnight, though there’s a 2-3 hour break for ambots to leave and scrounge up dinner, there is no break at lunch time. Ambots are forced to buy food from the arena’s expensive concessions or be bad little ambots and leave the building to scout out nearby eating establishments.

Dinner and quasi lunch for 2 people? Lets call it $50. And don’t forget that $15 midnight stop at McDonalds on the way back to the hotel because the ambots are going to be hungry going into the Night Owl.

So thats $95 in food on Saturday.

Sunday morning at the ambot conference? Why yes there is a church sermon! Gotta be there so that means grabbing breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant for another $30. Then off to the ambot version of church, like there wasn’t already a good serving of religion all day Saturday and on Friday night. Cults use religious terms as part of brainwashing techniques.

Just as an aside - normal business keep religion out of the workplace.

Find a restaurant nearby for lunch after the ambot church service. Call it another $30. What happens on Sunday afternoon at the ambot conference? Why more of the same of course! This is just a long winded several hour wrap up of the last 2 days. The cult leaders tell their followers to buy more motivational materials - tool scam sales last were a little low! Oh and don’t forget to buy more more MORE Amway products.

The ambot conference is finally over! Now for the drive home. Lets call the gas and stop at a restaurant for dinner the same price as it cost on Friday - $170.

The ambot conference has cost $960, but lets just round it up to $1000 because the ambots probably bought a book or CD while they were inside the ambot conference. Out of that $250 went for ambot conference tickets, the bulk of which would be absorbed by the Diamonds running the show. $750 for incidental expenses to attend an ambot conference?

What a waste of money!

I can’t even think of any rock star that I’d be willing to shell out a thousand bucks in tickets and incidentals and make it a 3 day mission to get there and back.

Nope I wouldn’t even spend that on airfaire, hotel, and food to fly to DC to meet up with George Clooney at the Sudanese embassy!

Ambots in Colombia?

Here’s a comment left on my Who Remembers Quixtar post.

Hi Anna,

I was searching for google for an Amway symbol and I found this page. I have read your posts and I see that you have a real bad image of Amway/Quixtar whatever. I really would like to discuss with you what your thoghts and your opinions are but without the bad words. I don´t know if you´ll respond me but I am going to make a request: whatever you criticise, you must at least not do it. You were talking about how Amway IBOs have a bad attitude and you were having it us well. Here in my country, all the ABOs who are succesful have good attitudes and respect everyone who doesn´t want to join because it´s a life choice, and also I haven´t met the first person who got robbed doing this. I´ve met people who thought it was too challenging or got out because they didn´t get results as fast as they wanted them, but a penny was never taken away. I know it because in my organization there are people who after buying 5k in products have returned them and gotten every cent back. So I´d like to discuss the subject with you if you are willing to have an open mind. And please stop giving it such a bad name. Life always gives you back what you give out, so I´d advise you to stop giving a bad name to the company, you don´t know when you are going to get paid with

 that same medicine.

Truthfully,
Manuel

Well Manuel, I hope you come back to read. I had enough to say to you that I didn’t want to leave it in the comments box in case it was missed and because I thought others might like to read this.

Searching for an Amway symbol and you found my blog? As if I need any further proof that Married To An Ambot is high on the search engines! Amway’s got somewhere in their terms and conditions that if you are an Amway IBO that you can not download and use any of their stuff unless you have their written permission because presumably you will be using the image to earn money.

If you’re not an IBO the rules don’t apply! Unless of course you’re using an Amway image to make money then Amway would want their piece of the pie - what else is new! Images that are put out on the public domain known as the Internet are up for grabs unless people are downloading them for commercial purposes to make money then the owner of said image would like to receive some payment. Manuel, don’t worry if you break Amway’s rules. Amway doesn’t give a shit if their IBO’s violate their policies. I’ve reported our upline and they didn’t do nothing. So I’m sure you will be quite safe to use any Amway symbol that you want even if someone reports you nothing will happen.

My blog exists mainly to curse out my Amway upline and seeing as how Amway’s employees are a reflection of the company itself they get dragged down too. Amway doesn’t do anything to clean up its act. Amway/Quixtar already had a bad reputation many years before I came on the scene!

No, I have no interest in talking to you or any other current brainwashed ambot. Its the equivalent of banging my head against the wall. You ambots have a canned Amspeak response for everything.

Me talk without “bad” words! Ha ha ha!!! You should be in a car with me and hear my running commentary of all the other drivers on the road! Yup I am probably the one who flipped you off!

You can request all you want that I shouldn’t criticize my upline or Amway but it won’t do you no good. I don’t know what the laws are in your country but here we have something called freedom of speech. It is not against the law to tell the truth or to have an opinion. Amway might not like that I tell the truth about what its like being in their cult and they might not be happy about my opinion on their overpriced shitty products but I am hardly the first person to come along and say similar things.

As for buying $5k in products and then returning them for a refund, you’re a little late to hop on that bus. Our upline and many IBO’s have been doing that for years for amounts between $5 and $25k. They buy as much stuff as they can on their credit card then return it and get a refund and then they show the check from Amway around to their downline and claim it was a bonus they got.

I have been to Colombia and I think it is sick and disgusting that this evil called Amway has infiltrated your country. There are so many poor people in Colombia and then an ambot comes along and tells them that Amway is their path out of poverty and it won’t happen for them because only a fraction of 1% of IBO’s make money in Amway. Its all about selling the hope not the soap. Your fellow citizens will be in worse shape than they were before and all because they believed a liar who told them that Amway would bring them riches. Amway is a recruiting scam pyramid scheme. I’m  not sure what kind of business plan they show in Colombia but here they show a plan where you eat one Amway food bar and drink one Amway drink daily and find 6 others to do what you do and they find 6 others and so on and so on. Nowhere in the business plan does it give instructions on finding customers and selling Amway products at retail prices. Pyramid scheme!

I have met the warmest people ever in Colombia always smiling and friendly and willing to speak a little slower so the gringa can understand. They will invite you to share a meal with them even if its all the food they have.

I have also encountered the most agressive vendors I’ve seen anywhere. I mean how many times can I tell the guy with the cooler no thank you I don’t want to buy a beer for $2. I don’t drink beer. I say it in English and Spanish and the guy still wants me to take a $2 cerveza off his hands. What about the vendor selling hats who follows me down the street trying to get me to buy one when clearly I am already wearing a hat on my head. I can imagine what it would be like if these vendors are out on the street selling Amway shit!

And now for my readers who haven’t traveled to Colombia, here is some reality for you. Many of this country’s citizens live in hovels constructed of whatever materials they are able to scrounge up and they live in communities in vacant lots, beside swampy canals, and in the jungle.
