Getting Life Back To Normal

Its always good to hear from someone whose life is starting to get back to normal.
Anna Bannana and everyone else who was so kind in responding to me with such support, thank you so much. I apologize it's over a year later and I am just now responding with a thank you. To be honest, after I wrote a response, I wasn't sure I would get a reply. I feel so silly for not checking back. ...

I am still with the same man. However, the wedding date has been on hold for quite some time. I am letting him explore this "opportunity"...

He has yet to make any money ...

Rather, what I have realized is that these cult leaders operate on building relationships and fostering a sort of emotional attachment. They become mentors. No one wants to dissapoint their greatest "mentors". It makes me queasy.

My opinion on the business has not changed. Although, I have tried. Truly. I have gone to the meetings with him, the trips, met with his upline etc. I just can't bring myself to trust it. It isn't genuine. ... Genuine people get caught up in it. They bring other genuine people with them. And the scammers screw all of them. ...

I apologize for the lack of a refined description. Luckily, it is becoming less of a prominent fixture in his life. He is slowly coming back to seeing the beauty that exists in the life we lead together--- jobs and all! There is loveliness in the routine of life and so often, we forget to appreciate it.

Soooo, to surmise WWDB/amway is a sick cyclical cycle of being sucked in and conned. Every time, I have ever subjected myself to sitting in one of those meetings, The exit doors become the most prominent things in there. All that being said, thank you with all my heart to each and everyone of you who showered me with wisdom and advice. And Anna Banana, thank you for creating this blog. It's much needed :).

  1. The poster hit the nail on the head with this observation: "...what I have realized is that these cult leaders operate on building relationships and fostering a sort of emotional attachment. They become mentors. No one wants to dissapoint their greatest "mentors". It makes me queasy."

And that's where their hold is. Time and again we hear how after getting involved in Amway a person's personality changes. And their allegiance changes from the family and friends they have known for years to some new lovebombing group and the family they have always known somehow becomes "the enemy" if they don't give 100% blind support to the same cult masters. Ambots come to this blog and brag how much better of a person they are since joining up, but all brainwashed people say the same exact thing. They are so caught up in the lovebombing they desperately want the approval of their "mentors", all the while they are having their pockets picked. They boast of what wonderful people they have met there, and yet, if they were to ever run out of money to sink into the cult those new "friends" would dry up like water in the Mojave Desert.

I hope that the poster's fiance soon breaks off contact with the cult to allow the brainwashing to slowly dissipate and the illusion of greed cloud to lift. Because until then, getting married would be a huge mistake. All my best to her and their future AWAY from the cult.

    1. Good observations Dave. In the real world people sttart a business to make money and make a living. Brainwashed ambots think people start a business to be ome nicer . How fucked up is that. About as fucked up as the love and devotion ambots have for the assholes in thier Amway upline instead of their family.

  2. Hi Anna. Well it seems to have happened again! So I make it to the 2nd date with a drop dead gorgeous lady. Everythings going great. Shes witty, intelligent and funny. Dinners good. Romantic walk on the beach. And here come the red flags! She starts talking about vitamins, books shes read, a book shed like me to borrow. After a while it became painfully obvious. So i asked if she was in amway. Yes. Half of my mind wants to give her a chance because she is otherwise awesome. The logical half is telling me to run like hell because i know she will most likely harangue me to death about the scamway thing, and i should probably just tell her to scram-way. I really am not trying to deal with one of these people ever again!

    1. Sometimes you feel like an ambot magnet right?

You know what you gotta do. RUN!!!!!

There was a post not too long ago about someone's sister and the assholes in the Amway upline counselling the women to pretty much prostitute themselves to sign up prospects.

    2. No freakin way... so what you are telling me is that theres a possibility that the only reason this girl is dating me is to reel me in to the scam!? The last ambot i dated didnt get involved until after we were together. She then became insufferable and i dropped her ass like a backpack full of rocks. But if that is whats A whole new level of desperation and scumbagery!

    3. Hi Anonymous. That's what I'm saying. Ambots are only your friends as long as they can make money off you. Amway = scumbagery! Ha ha!

  3. I would like to respond respectfully, yet critically, to your post. Not all amway members are as you say they are. I am currently working with worldwide dream builders and we indeed do not beg prospects to join. We actually have a process that they must make it through in order to be extended an offer. If they are not proving that they are willing to work hard, then we do not want to work with them. Again, I just wanted to point out that not all IBOs are the same.

    1. Nice try but I was in WWDB and the way to qualify any prospect is to make sure the sucker has a pulse. Ambots are so desperate to get anyone to sign up there is none of this bullshit we'll check you out and if you're lucky you can sign up to our expensive social club.

    2. Have you ever turned someone away who was genuinely interested, but didn't seem to have a work ethic?

  4. Damn straight. Dave Severn said over and over, put a mirror under their nose, and if it fogs, 'SIGN 'EM UP!' No exceptions. What? Has all that teaching changed all of a sudden? Hmmm???? Remember, he IS Greg Duncan's upline.

    1. Damn straight yeah! Its so hard to sign anyone up no matter what those lying ambots with their holier than thou attitudes about how they'll pick and choose who can be an IBO like we really believe that!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
