Amway Destroyed My Mortgage

I’ve heard from a reader who mortgaged their house to buy Amway products.

Why the fuck do people do things like this?

Its all part of Amway’s sell the hope not the soap campaign. We go to Amway functions and the Diamonds stand on stage and tell their hard luck story. They all have the same story told slightly differently. I swear these bastards got together to figure out what fables to tell to the ambots in the audience anxious to devour every bullshit word from their beloved cult leaders.

The Diamond’s hard luck stories usually go to the effect that both the husband and wife were working minimum wage jobs when a dear friend came along to show them the Amway business plan. Every one of them seems to have borrowed $20 from their aunt to put gas in the car to get to the first Amway function. And the rest is history. The stuff that Amway fairy tales are made of. Ambots are ordered by their cult leaders to do whatever it takes to get to Amway functions. They fail to say the real reason they need high attendance is because those functions are how the Diamonds make most of their money from the tool scam. They give shitty advice to skip a few meals or skip the mortgage payment or take out a 2nd mortgage on your house. That way you’ll have the money to get to Amway functions.

The brainwashing that goes into these ambots to make them do dumb things just to make their cult leaders richer is incredible.

Mortgaging your house to buy Amway products? Just how many shitty overpriced Amway products does one person need? I guess that depends on if they play to single handedly - no downline or customers - get to their 1000 pin that month. Or maybe 2500 pin or 5000. Take any of those PV pin amounts and multiply by 3 to get the approximate dollar value of what those products cost.

How did the upline brainwash the ambots to mortgage the house for no other reason than to help their upline meet some goal that month. Probably had something to do with an upline Diamond falling out of qualification and everyone downline who owned a house was ordered to mortgage it and buy Amway products. You help your upline and one day there will be someone downline who will do the same for you.

Fuck that shit!

Can we say inventory loading?

I’ve never been brainwashed by a cult so I can’t pretend to understand what is going through the minds of these people who do crazy dumb ass things like mortgaging their house to buy Amway products just so they can get a little recognition and praise from their upline.

I thought it was bad enough to drain the savings account and run up the credit card debt just to keep the Amway cult leaders happy. Risking your house, probably your biggest investment, the place where you have a roof over your head and a warm dry place for your family to live and keep their stuff just because some upline asshole needs more PV to reach their monthly goal is stupid.

I’ve seen too many stories from former IBO’s who’ve lost their house thanks to the Amway scam. A little maneuver our upline tried to do with us too to take out a 2nd mortgage so we could buy lots more Amway shit. Ambot was convinced this was the right thing to do just because some upline Amway asshole said so. Too bad for him he’s not the only name on the deed and I ain’t putting up the house because some fucking Amway asshole that I despise says to do so.

Ah yes. No wonder those fucking assholes tried so hard to destroy our marriage. Once the ambot’s money supply runs out and the wife/husband refuses to use their credit card or sign away the house or car there’s nowhere else for those bastards to go except to destroy the relationship.

As all good little cult leaders must do.

Call it revenge for the PV not being as high as they want.

Can you image what becomes of a house that goes into foreclosure due to the Amway scam. The sherrif evicts the family and goes in with a crew to remove the belongings and put them into storage. And what are they removing? Boxes and boxes of $50 bottles of Perfect Water, boxes of XS cat piss water, boxes of shitty Amway Nutrilite food bars, and enough bottles of Nutrilite vitamins to clog every toilet in the Trump Tower.

And then when the evicted don’t pay the storage fees it gets auctioned off. Can you see that one on Storage Wars? Some unlucky bidder pays a few hundred bucks for the unknown items inside the abandoned locker and ends up with boxes and boxes of worthless Amway shit.

Bring the dumpster over!

  1. Thing with these people who lose their house or max their credit card. If its not Amway it'll be some other scam they'd lose their money with. That's why after quitting Amway. They'd join companies like monavie. I baught zero tools while being with Amway wwdb. My diamond continue to help us with board plans. What is he going to do? Ban us from the house meetings for not buying tools?

    1. Anonymous - there's all kinds of reasons why people lose their houses and max their credit cards but this blog is all about putting up with the assholes in your Amway upline and taking their shitty financial advice. And yeah you're right some would go on to another scam to lose money with just like Monavie. Our sack of shit Platinum got fired from Amway about a year and a half ago and defected to Monavie taking a lot of his downline with him and the ones that are still in it are flogging that scam because they're convinced Monavie is a MUCH better company than Amway, the answer to their greedy endeavors to get RICH. You're lucky your Diamond continues to help you and is following what Amway's literature says that purchasing tools is voluntary and the upline is still required to work with you even if you don't buy them. In our case and in the case of most people who leave comments on this blog and other blogs the assholes in their Amway upline choose to break Amway's rules and say if you don't buy the tools then they won't work with you. And we're all stuck with tons of shitty CD's, books, and spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars buying tickets to Amway functions to make the assholes in the upline richer. So yes, banning ambots from meetings for not buying tools is very common for people stuck inside the Amway scam. In fact I tried to persuade my husband not to buy the tools so that we would be banned from going to the meetings and those fuckers wouldn't have anything to do with us!

  2. Anna,we where struggling trade school students and made it clear we won't buy any tools if we signed up. My diamond edc was Dan yuen wwdb and he didn't like dealing with us. But the ones who where on communkicate . Would tell us where the house meeting where. So if we had a prospect or just wanted to watch him draw the plan we'd just show up. Without tools or functions we did OK and has a group of 50. Guess were more of a hassle for a diamond if the Ibo's baught no tools

    1. Anonymous – they all do that with Communikate, hold last minute meetings only sent out to those who’ve subscribed to Communikate, that way the cult leaders know who is paying the monthly fee for the service. A former Communikate employee showed up here to tell us how much commission the Diamonds make when their followers sign up for Communikate. Yeah it must really piss off the Diamonds when others who have Communikate just give out the information for free where the top secret Amway meetings are.

  3. My diamond IBOs are Hemant and Smitha. I have established a team of 45 and have never been taught to make risky financial decisions like mortgage off our home and never intend to extend that advice to our fellow IBOs. Why? We believe in having some sort of financial stability when creating an asset. I do admit a very select few would go to great lengths and do risky things like this to close all back doors and feel like they have chosen entrepeneurship. I feel like when IBOs do something out of the ordinary like This, I can tell they are not in constant communication with their working coaches. I do believe sacrifices should be made like cutting down TV and video game time to invest in self-education via books and audios. I can see why Amway can be viewed as a cult but there are many different educational systems which people operate from. It's like saying "I had a bad experience with my gym and therefore all gyms are like this". Amway is merely a product and services company - what people choose to do with it is an individual representation. Unfortunately I have heard of other Amway IBOs from different organisations who emphasise hard selling. But don't let some bad eggs spoil it for everyone else. So far I'm yet to meet someone who has mortgaged off their home and I've been in this business for 2 years. God bless you and have a lovely day! Regards, Ravi.

    1. Ravi - you don't think a "business opportunity" with over 99% failure rate is a risky financial decision? LOL! That's not my number. That's the number in the small print on Amway's brochures!

Why should people sacrifice things they enjoy such as TV or video games just because some fucking asshole in the Amway upline doesn't give them permission to do it? Like we need any more proof that Amway is a fucking cult?

Ravi are you really so fucking stupid to think that people who sign up to the Amway cult are "entrepreneurs" are you? Entrepreneurs are people who have created a product or a service and sell it to real people. If you sell a product or service that someone else has created, like say your boss created it, then that makes you a sales rep for that person's products or services. Look up the definition of entrepreneur before you make a fucking asshole out of yourself. LOL! Amway Ambots are sales reps selling products that were created or commissioned to be created by entrepreneurs who have the last name of DeVos or VanAndel and sell them under the Amway or Alticor or Quixtar, etc name. Any Amway Ambot who calls themselves an entrepreneur is a fucking loser!

  4. Anna you bring up some valid points, I was a member of Amway in the 90's, I learned a lot from this experience positive and negatives. I cannot argue your stance on this issue, but it would have more credence if you where able to voice it in a more civilized manner. It comes across as straight hatred and it's hard to make a valid point with that much emotion involved.

    1. Unknown - so you're saying it's not OK to hate companies and people who are pure shit evil and destroy lives and cause others financial and emotional distress?

This blog has millions of views. I'd think that'd be credence enough that what we're doing here is popular. Cursing out fucking Amway assholes is the name of the game. Around here we entertain as well as educate and it seems to be working out pretty well.

  5. To Unknown at 12:22 PM:

You don't understand the function of forensic rhetoric. Its task is to attack the enemy fiercely and to ridicule and insult him. Being nice and polite gets you nowhere when dealing with something sick and corrupt like Amway.

This blog by Anna Banana is read EVERY SINGLE DAY by the Amway people in Ada, Michigan. Do you think they would pay the slightest attention to it if it were composed in meek, mild, and civilized tones? Get real, buddy.

Amway is SCARED of this blog! They tell their IBOs not to read it! They are infuriated that thousands of potential recruits have been warned to avoid Amway by this blog! They are chagrined by the fact that so many horror stories about Amway are published here every week!

Is it "straight hatred"? It sure is, pal! We HATE Amway and we are going to bring it down. If you've got a problem with that, don't come here.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Unknown may have been in Amway in the 90s. And he probably still is today. Or thinking of joining the Amway cult again.

The guy's on his Android and yes I'm going with the guy theory because of their preoccupation with negative, goes to the trouble of changing his blogger profile and then typing out a message on a 3 and a half year old post. Most people who aren't in Amway aren't messing around looking for it on their Smart Phones and if they were probably wouldn't take the time to type out a response to a blog. Most people would move on and not leave a response they have to type on a phone. Most people would use a computer with a larger keyboard, easier to type.

And yes! Let's bring Amway down!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
