Who remembers going to Amway cult meetings and the sack of shit Platinum, asshole Emerald, or fucking Diamond would spout off some bullshit that even if you don’t make money in Amway you’ll become a nicer person.
I mean – WHAT THE FUCK!!!!?????
Let’s back up a bit for some more bullshit from the fucking assholes in your Amway upline – when they say that Amway is your own business.
OK, I’ll agree that Amway is your own business if your last name is DeVos or VanAndel. But for the scads of brainwashed Amway Ambots – you do NOT own an Amway business. You are a lowly paid commissioned salesperson for the people who do own an Amway business. And what’s worse than making $10 a month in commission is that you got to shell out $500 to $700 month when you add up buying at least 100PV in shitty overpriced Amway products to be eligible for a commission, $50 to the cult sect where you worship the Great Amway God, another $50 buying dumb ass books and “motivational” recordings, $35 for Communikate, plus tickets to attend Amway meetings and functions. Etc etc etc into oblivion as long as you have room on your credit card you’re shelling out money to Scamway.
Amway is a SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!!!
Most IBO’s lose hundreds of dollars each month tithing the Great Amway God all for a measly $10 check. Get it? You do NOT own an Amway business. You’re just a dumb fuck who makes a tiny bit of commission after spending hundreds of dollars a month in Amway products and social activities.
You’d have more money coming back in if you got a credit card that gives you cash back every time you buy something that accumulates until you want a good pay day. And you’d spend less money in a month than you do tithing the Great Amway God.
The thing real business owners understand that Amway Ambots will never “get” is that the reason we start a business is to make money. You know pay the bills. And hopefully have some leftover cash to have fun with or put towards retirement savings. Try drilling that through a brainwashed Amway Ambot’s head. A real business owner is in business to make money. NOT to become a nicer person. Maybe they were already a nice person when they started their real business. Maybe they became nicer. Maybe they were already as nice as they’re going to get. The purpose for starting their business was not to become nicer but to make money. There you go. A little secret that all real business owners understand.
And if you mean Amway “nicer”, then all that fake nicey nice bullshit love bombing doesn’t count.
The assholes in the Amway upline try to distract the dumb fuck ambots that even if they don’t make money which is very true for over 99% of IBO’s, they’ll become a nicer person. Its all part of a distraction technique so the Ambot doesn’t pay attention to the hundreds of dollars he’s throwing away every month.
And here’s the thing when you ask Amway Ambots for proof that being in Amway will make you a nicer person – they ain’t got piss all to back up that dumb fuck statement other than because the Great Amway God says so.
If you want to be a nicer person there are cheaper ways this can be accomplished. Volunteering anyone?
Amen to that, Anna.
ReplyDeleteAmway doesn't make you a nicer person. Amway turns you into a vicious little money-grubbing creep who is filled with resentment and suppressed rage. It does all this, and it makes you poor as well.
You hate people who have jobs. You hate people who are richer and happier than you. You hate people who have time to relax at home and not go to stupid meetings. You hate people who think for themselves. You hate people who aren't in Amway.
With all this hate, how can you be a nicer person?
Anonymous - that's a great description of people in Amway. Ambots are so angry and negative and full of hate but they go around accusing the rest of the world of being that way. Nope you can't be a nicer person by signing up to the Amway cult.
DeleteI am grateful to have found this blog! My daughter is involved in this but it took a year to put the pieces together. She became distant, put "marketing" meetings before family birthdays and other events. Her way of interacting with us became very programmed and we didn't know what had happened.
ReplyDeleteThe place she is working with "Dougherty Marketing" does not advertise as Amway but is indeed one of these operations. As family to someone involved in this it is confusing and quite hurtful.
Hi Bel Canto. Amway cult followers are pretty secretive about their cult and avoid saying the A word so others don't know what they're up to. They often say they're with Quixtar or World Wide Dream Builders or Benny the Bastard Enterprises to throw people off to their scam cult.
DeleteYou have described someone in the Amway cult perfectly. This is why we call them Ambots. They're programmed how to act by their Amway cult leader. They're not allowed to do any family or friend activities if it interferes with any cult activities. What you've described is probably no different than any other cult and what the family members watching the awful changes come over their loved ones.
I'm surprised she's been in a year. Most Ambots leave by the one year mark. It is I,possible for a woman to get anywhere in Amway's male chauvinist pig club. But they'll string her along as long as they can keep scamming money out of her.
Good luck with her. And if you haven't already done so, look on the right side of this page with more links about Amway and you'll see a free ebook called Merchants of Deception. This will give you a better understanding of this awful Amway cult she's gotten involved with.
And of course you hate those people who have good friends and hang out together.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course you are envy because you are all alone as an ambot.
Anonymous - part of being in Amway is hating everyone who isn't in the Amway cult and being envious of what everyone else has.
DeleteAnna, I have noticed that several mothers have come here to post sad stories about how their daughters have gotten roped into Amway. Bel Canto is the latest example.
ReplyDeleteI realize that females can be just as silly as males. But I find it hard to understand why a nice young woman would get sucked into the Amway bullshit. Women (in my experience as a male) are usually shrewder and more attuned to scams than men are. A man will join Amway, but it is commonly his wife who will remain skeptical about it.
What would make a nice young girl want to get involved with the arrogant losers and ignorant creeps who are typical of the Amway business?
Anonymous - there are several reasons why a woman gets sucked into Amway or any other cult, and often the reason is no different than a man's reason. What all cults offer their followers is a promise of a better life. Some cults it might be a stairway to heaven where dozens of virgins await. With Amway the Cult of Greed its the promise of bazillions of dollars rolling in every month in residual income in 2 to 5 years while the Ambot sits back and does nothing for the rest of their life.
DeleteA woman might realize she doesn't have what it takes in education or skills to get a great paying job so she pushes reality aside and believes the hopes and dreams an Amway cult leader is promising her.
All cults offer their followers friendship and love. Maybe the woman is lacking that in her life. And getting love bombed by Amway Ambots is a thrill a minute.
All cult followers are looking for is a better life. Why all these women are getting sucked in recently is hard to understand because as you said women tend to be more shrewd as sniffing out a scam and being careful how they spend their money.
As what Joecool has said: Are they making dollars or making more excuses?
ReplyDeleteWell.... They're sure not making dollars!
DeleteWell, not a single of them has named people who retired at 25 because of amway nor shown proof of income
DeleteAnonymous - and they never will. Unless of course it's an heir to one of Amway's owners. Then they might be able to retire at 25. No different than any other heir to a fortune out there. But a low class Amway IBO retiring at 25? They'd have a better chance at winning the Powerball.
DeleteI read abiut someone whose upline advised them that "it's okay to lose your house because, when you become a diamond member, you can buy a new one."
ReplyDeleteYes, hoping that you are one of the 0.5%
Anonymous - that's pretty fucked up isn't it but yes I heard Amway cult leaders saying exactly that. They're out to destroy everyone. Who takes shitty financial advice to skip mortgage payments or sell your house and use that money to buy shitty overpriced Amway products. Those bastards are pretty fucked up when the only happiness they get is bringing financial and emotional misery to other peoples lives.
DeleteAn up-line scumbag who tells some struggling IBO that it's "okay to lose your house" should be disemboweled with a serrated scimitar.
DeleteThese Amway scum are lower than bacteria.
Anonymous - I agree. Why brainwash an Ambot to sell or default on their house. Typical of the only advice you get from Amwaycult leaders: shitty advice! And yup ambots are the worst kind of shit scum out there.
DeleteSome of the IBO's would go as far as roping their coworkers, clients and their boss into the marketing "plan" and they didn't realize that they would lose their job.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - yup I've heard some bad stories from people who had a coworker and in one case a supervisor sign them up for Scamway. Someone's going to lose their job when they quit the cult.
DeleteI don't agree that Amway makes people nicer. Do you see the vitriol and hatred that comes through in the comments or the kinds of things written by Amway apologists like David Steadson?
ReplyDeleteJoecool - that's right. If he's a nicer person now than he was before Amway then you sure wouldn't have wanted to know him before because after getting nicer from Amway he's now a vicious lying cocksucking fucking Amway bastard demon. If that's Amway's shining example of how people get nicer in Amway then sane people wouldn't want nothing to do with Amway.
DeleteYou mean IBO Fart Back? He hasn't been around for a while. Maybe Amway cut off his air supply.
DeleteAnonymous - maybe he figured out not to show up where he's not welcome.
DeleteDoes losing money make you a better person?
DeleteNo. Losing money makes a person an aggressive predator for income.
And ambot have all the nerve to say those words! They should be thrown out where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I agree Anonymous. I don't see how losing money to a pyramid scheme can make anyone a nicer person.
DeleteHello, a very close loved one has told me that they paid about $180 for a yearly membership to be able to buy Amway products at discounted prices. Oh, and they say that they will be sent products every month or so in addition to what they are able to buy with their membership. They don't want to go into detail. They say that they will be saving a lot of money because it is direct sales as in buying directly from the manufacturer. They also say that all the products Amway sells are super high quality and organic. They are super close family members. Please point me towards some of your articles that explain how Amway products ts actually cost more. And if you could help me get them out of their membership that would be a huge help. Do they have the option of returning their unused products and getting a refund for their membership? They tell me that any other products aren't comparable because they either aren't organic like Amway or they are just too different to be able to compare them. Please help. Thank-you for what you do.
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - sorry to hear about your friends. A commenter a few months ago said its $170 for the Amway yearly membership which includes starter kit which has a few Amway products. So $180 sounds about right. They'll be sent Amway products because they signed up for a standing monthly order or Ditto or whatever term the Ambots call it now. Of course they don't go into detail. It's really embarrassing to admit you got sucked into the Amway cult. The saving money lie is just more Amway bullshit. Amway has a retail price and a wholesale price and IBO's can buy at the "wholesale" price to sell to others at the "retail" price. Amway's wholesale price is still about 3 or 4 times higher than a similar better quality product you can buy at regular retailers like Walmart or drug stores. Yeah the high quality bullshit to reflect the high prices is more Amway bullshit that's been around for decades. Consumer reporting magazines and news outlets have included Amway's products against products like Tide and Gain if they're comparing laundry soap for example, and Amway was found to be substandard or generic and grossly overpriced for the quality. And we don't need news outlets to break this news to us. Once we've actually tried Amway products ourselves we figure out we got ripped off paying too much money for a shitty product. The organic bullshit has been slung at Amway meetings forever too. Anyone can pick up an Amway product and do a search for each ingredient to figure out they're not organic. Check out a couple of articles by a scientist. Actually reading the comments left by brainwashed Ambots is pretty entertaining. In one of the articles an Amway employee who works as a scientist at Nutrilite (Amway's vitamins) even admits you caught us. They use synthetic products.
Deletehttp://energyfanatics.com/2007/09/17/nutrilite-double-x-multivitamin-review/
http://energyfanatics.com/2008/03/02/xs-energy-drink-flavors/
But if you try to point out to a brainwashed Amway Ambot that their products aren't organic they'll go off on a screeching hissy fit. How dare you say something that doesn't agree with what their Amway cult leaders preach to them.
The life of an Amway Ambot is to lie, deny, distract and defend. You'll figure that out pretty quickly from your friends the longer they stay in Scamway.
And yes an IBO can attempt to refund products and refund their membership but I think they have to quit inside 30 days. But the assholes in their Amway upline will convince them to stick it out longer. You know jerk them around long enough where they can't get a refund.

DeleteFrom what you describe, your loved one has been temporarily brainwashed and bamboozled by some Amway recruiter. Right now, in the beginning, it will be very, very diffcult to talk them out of the scheme.
Your loved one now has an emotional and intellectual loyalty to what he or she has been told about "the Amway opportunity." And therefore the person will be defensive and protective about Amway and everything it stands for.
If your loved one has signed up for Ditto, he or she has now committed to buy a steady supply of stuff every month. The expense of this will pile up quickly. Your best hope is that he or she will simply see how financially ruinous this is, and then quit.
Even IBO Fart-back ceases to lash back.
ReplyDeleteHe has taught his "children" to bash back on blogs like yours and JoeCool.
That's why you will see those IBO bashers with the hatred on their posts.
If the business opportunity was truly viable then you don't have to waste your time bashing the critics...
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - that's very true. The life of an Amway Ambot is to lie, deny, distract and defend. How many other jobs require staff to do this?
