The inventor told the astonished King that all he required was one grain of wheat to be placed on the first square of his chess board, two grains on the second square, four on the third, eight on the fourth, etc. Without thinking, the King immediately accepted the inventor's request, and ordered his treasurer to hand over the wheat. However, when the treasurer took more than a week to calculate the quantity, the King asked him to explain the delay. The treasurer said that there wasn't enough wheat in the entire land to give the inventor even a fraction of his promised reward.

Realizing that the inventor had tried to cheat him, the King ordered his head to be cut off to discourage any similar trickery in the future.

David Brear (copyright 2011)
[edit]David Brearnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623443549536997676.post-49576117824571564882011-08-22T19:32:10.503-07:002011-08-22T19:32:10.503-07:00Thanks Connie. Its the brainwashing. Its how each IBO is told by their upline that they will be rolling in the dough just around the corner. They are programmed to believe they will be in that tiny group that makes money.Anna Bananahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05373457126465029723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623443549536997676.post-74690162929418855382011-08-22T18:48:43.897-07:002011-08-22T18:48:43.897-07:00Thanks for posting this link. The crux of the evil...Thanks for posting this link. The crux of the evil of MLM's is this (and I quote):

Failure is mathematically predetermined from the start by the MLM pay plan. The trick of the trade is to cover up this reality and to guilefully convince each and every enrollee that he/she can succeed. Recruits are told that the program is a formula for wealth, even though it is mathematically impossible for any but a few to succeed.

"Do the math, and the math will tell you what to do".

Yet ambots continue to call those who drop out 'losers" when it is mathmatically PRE-DETERMINED that 99% will fail.

If Amway isn't the personification of evil, what is???ConnieFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07795827422559105928noreply@blogger.com
