Thanks to one of our readers who posted this comment about what it really means when an Amway loser says “you haven’t earned the privilege yet”:
The whole "You don't have
the privilege yet..." baloney is nothing but a manifestation of envy and
malice. Your up-line in Amway is a ruthless, greed-driven creep who wants to
have power over you. He wants to be your master, your commander, and your drill
sergeant.
If he sees you with something that he himself would like, and that he can't
have, he is driven crazy with rage and resentment. A nice new car? A private
home? An investment portfolio? A fat savings account? A profitable business of
your own? Money for vacations? Things like this set him off like a bomb, and he
will rant and rave that you don't have the right to enjoy such benefits.
It's not, I think, a question of him wanting you to have more money available
for spending on Amway crap. That might be partially true. But the real
motivation for his "You don't have the privilege..." bullshit is that
he is enraged over the fact that you have attained a level of comfort and
security in life that he doesn't have. And also he is afraid that your comfort
and security will prevent you from becoming the desperate, scared, and
fanatical Amway rabbit that he wants in his down-line. Frightened and desperate
people are easy to control. It's not so easy to control people who have
savings, investments, property, and security. You can't tell them what to do.
You can't tyrannize over them. Such people have the ability to tell you to Fuck
Off.
Consider your own case. You and your husband Ambot had plenty going for you
apart from the Amway business. You weren't frightened and desperate. When you
decided to quit Amway, you weren't going to be poverty-stricken. This meant
that you weren't compelled to listen to the bullshit that your asshole up-line
and that fat-assed Platinum were throwing at you all the time. You were secure.
That kind of personal security is what Amway up-line HATES in any down-line.
They want down-line to be weak and dependent and cowed. This is the real reason
behind the "You don't have the privilege yet..." bullshit.
Quite true. This is why Amway wants IBOs who are poor. Some desperate schmuck working in a low-paying job, and without prospects of advancement, is the ideal recruit for an ambot's down-line. He's afraid, he's helpless, he has no real future, and he's hungry to find something to hope for. Once Amway gets its hooks into a guy like that, he's very likely to become a lifer.
ReplyDeleteAnd man -- is he easy to control!
Anonymous - those are ideal qualities for an Amway Ambot recruit. And young. They haven't heard of ScAmway and are easier to control with the promise of bazillions of dollars in residual income rolling in from Amway every month after 2 to 5 years and then they can just sit back and do nothing for the rest of their lives.
DeleteLOL! Amway fairy tale!
