The last time we ran the post about Amway Ambots Are Nosy Bastards - one of our readers shared their experience:
It's true that the freaks in
Amway are intensely curious and intrusive into the private lives of others.
They can be very offensive.
I remember how they would ask all sorts of probing and insulting questions,
such as:
Where do your kids go to school?
Are your parents living?
How long have you been married?
How much rent are you paying? (or What's your monthly mortgage charge?)
Do you own your car?
Where do you go when on vacation?
Do you own any property besides your house?
How many siblings do you have?
What would you especially like to buy?
What's your religion?
What did your father do for a living?
Are you thinking of moving to a different city or state?
What bank do you use?
How much do you have in savings?
Have you ever been divorced?
Do you read the Bible?
What do you spend per week on food?
What goes on at your regular job?
There were so many questions like this that you began to think you were being
subject to a police interrogation.
I believe many persons begin to see the light about how rotten Amway is when
they finally get fed up with all these questions, and say "Stay the fuck
out of my personal life! I don't have to tell you ANYTHING!!"
After that, it's a lot easier to break free from your fat-assed, obnoxious
Platinum.
They do this so they can throw everything back in your face if you object or start to see the light.
ReplyDeleteThat's right Anonymous. They did it to us. Or more accurately tried to put a big guilt trip on my husband. If those Amway losers tried that shit with me I'd have told them to go fuck themselves.
DeleteBreaking free from the Amway cult is very difficult if you have been brainwashed by your up-line. Your immediate sponsor and the Platinum above him have deep psychological power over you, and they will not hesitate to use it to control your actions.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I have read, it seems that the only effective way to get out of the cult is to become VERY ANGRY, and to explode with disrespect and contempt for your up-line and anyone else in the racket who tries to dictate to you.
Many people simply don't have that as a possibility in their personality. They have been raised to be polite, courteous, deferential, and obedient to authority. Weak-willed persons like that are the ones who become hopeless lifers in Amway, enslaved to the wishes of their up-line and shelling out cash every month.
You only break free from Amway when you tell your immediate sponsor that you are goddamned sick of the racket, and are not going to listen to his directions anymore. And when the Platinum calls you up to berate you, just tell him to go fuck himself.
Your Amway up-line is not prepared for that kind of response, and will not bother you any further.
Anonymous - it's very difficult for any cult followers to break free due to that psychological hold. The followers have been brainwashed by the cult leaders and if properly brainwashed - they're easy to control. The losers in our Amway upline used to bitch at Ambot that I was uncoachable. Translated: unable to brainwash! LOL! Not everyone is willing to be brainwashed into a cult. I don't believe Ambot ever told our sack of shit Platinum to go fuck himself. Even after the berating calls and texts after he quit. When that fucking asshole called I'd say give me that phone. And he never did pass the phone over to me. He knew I'd curse out that fucker. Oh well. I get to that here on the blog!
