Thanks to one of our readers for sharing an Amway Emerald tirade:
I remember one week during a
Weekly Business Briefing (Open Meeting) in a hotel auditorium where a crossline
Emerald was speaking. I think he showed the Plan that night and then did the “training”
which lasted way longer than it needed to go as everyone melted in their suits
and dressy attire.
I remember him ranting about volume. And he was only an Emerald because his
uncle (a successful surgeon who didn’t need the “business”) was placed in his
LOS. The Emerald’s father (uncle’s brother) is a Crown Ambassador within the
AMO.
Anyways, the Emerald is ranting along “providing nuggets” and openly...in a
room of 200 people turn towards one of his downline and asks, “...when are you
going 1500 big boy?” I couldn’t believe that someone would do that. And I would’ve
felt low if that had been done to me in front of a crowd of people.
In a separate meeting in a hotel ballroom, Upline Emerald’s Emerald (now
Diamond) made an analogy between “cream” and “scum”. Basically, how the cream
rises to the top and the scum settles to the bottom. This comment stems from
the fact that with two days to go, his team within the AMO had not sold all of
its $15 dollar Saturday Night “Success Seminar” tickets.
That was one of the last business briefings I ever attended. it was the same
night that my immediate Upline Emerald snatched $15 out of my hands as I was
attempting to straighten my money out for her to pay for my seminar ticket.
The AMO was URA (URAssociation (notice how they name is something strange so
that information can’t be easily found?)) in case there are any lurkers out
there doing their own research.
"URAssociation" really stands for "U R An Asshole."
ReplyDeleteThe description that your reader gives of the churlish behavior of up-line towards the people present at the meetings is absolutely infuriating. Who the bloody hell do these up-line creeps think they are? How can they act so disgustingly in public?
The plain fact is this: Amway, along with all of its vicious AMO subsystems, is filled with obnoxious, impolite, uncultured vermin. They have no proper upbringing, no education, and no manners.
