My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

“You're Not Educated” Screech Amway Ambots!
10 comments:
Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
This isn't an Amway-only phenomenon. This is all of MLM. I went to a friend catch up RE: ACN meeting and its a similar concept about education.
ReplyDeleteWhat is most curious is when they compare jobs they do not take into account the intangible benefits of a job. It is all about the $$.
Highlight of the ACN meeting was afterwards when a group of ACN guys (Ac-Bots?) surrounding me and denouncing my teaching degree (Masters of Teaching) and pointing out that what I do is a waste of time. Considering during the presentation they couldn't coordinate cheering (one guy cheering at the end of a sentence randomly) it felt quite ironic.
Mathew from Australia
Hi Mathew. Thanks for stopping by! LOL on ACN! I checked with one of the bananas and there was an asshole in their Amway upline who was flogging ACN too. Once a scammer always a scammer! LOL! 50 cents commission to sign people up to a phone plan and $500 to buy into the scam.
DeleteI can see how other MLM's insult on education because most of these MLM scammers hop from one to another and bring there bullshit canned Amspeak responses with them. The assholes in our Amway upline jumped ship to Monavie and I'm sure they're slinging the same insults at their new cult meetings as they did at Scamway meetings.
Im impressed. I dont believe Ive met anyone who knows as a lot about
ReplyDeletethis subject as you do. Youre truly nicely informed and really
intelligent. You wrote something that folks could recognize and
created the subject intriguing for everybody. Truly, excellent blog

DeleteMy ex-boyfriend got heavily involved in Amway when I was unemployed. He figured it would be how we'd replace my income. I went back to school instead. I found a job a few months later and was working full time and going to school full time. Didn't leave any time for Amway, darn it all. Ex insisted I should drop out of school so I'd have time for Amway... I dropped him instead.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - it sounds like you made the right decision. Its a different situation when you're dating rather than married because one you can get out of a bad situation a lot faster with less lawyers and money involved! I don't know of anyone whose Amway income of around $10/month commission can replace the income from a normal job that pays at least minimum wage. Even if you take Amway's $115/month income when you don't even know what people they took to get that average, maybe a couple of Diamonds at $150k and 100 IBO's at $10/month. Even that fictional $115/month promised from Amway that no one ever reaches that high number wouldn't replace a job's income from an employer who pays fair wages.
DeleteIt sounds like you have your life on track - no thanks to Scamway!
I have to admit that I fell into the same trap when I was an IBO. I put off going to school for about 7 years because I bought into this same mentality. Thank goodness I snapped out of it and saved my marriage and my finances! Ambots always have and always will say "Why get an education when you will make millions from Amway?" It will never change. Best thing I did though was leave Amway and get a good education. Best thing by far.
ReplyDeleteHi William. Thanks for stopping by to share your Amway experience. The best thing most people can do is leave Amway. And in your case get a better education than a fake degree from Amway University. The only people making millions from Amway are the owners and their heirs. Ambots just don't get that. Commissioned salespeople just aren't going to be making anywhere near as much money as the company owners. No matter how much they lie about how many millions they're making all without an education. LOL!
DeleteWell, I don't know any educated people would use a lot of this type words in public, such as "Fucking Amway assholes".
ReplyDeleteQiunan - that would be because the only "educated" people you know are lying scamming fucking Amway assholes. And people in Amway are prudes.
