Ambot Ben Goes To Amway WWDB FED And Escapes Ambotsville!

A lot of people get sucked into the Amway cult because they bought into the bullshit that they’ll own their “own business” and be able to provide for their family and retire at 21 and walk the beaches of the world while bazillions of dollars roll in every month from Amway in residual income. These suckers are easy prey for Amway shysters but once they got sucked in and lost their money, many realize the only way they can recover some of their losses is by lying to others and sucking them into Amway too and most people’s morals and conscience takes over and they quit. And good. You don’t need to be bringing financial and emotional distress to other people’s lives. Going out on a limb here I’d say many people who get recruited into Amway think they’re getting into something good and instead they’ve landed in the middle of a horror story. The promised riches will never be there. And I just know I’m going to get some snotty snobby Amway Ambots showing up here and leaving a comment on how could Ben have gone to Amway Free Enterprise Days FED when it hasn’t actually happened yet for 2017. OK you dumb ass Ambots – that’s because Ben wrote this AFTER he attended FED so in other words not this year but I have to spell it out because people in Amway are dumb fucks and don’t get it. We’re posting his comments now because Amway WWDB Free Enterprise Days is coming up and its called keywords to get people to read this post and to keep this blog high up in the searcher engines. Thanks Ben for sharing your story about Amway World Wide Dream Builders WWDB Free Enterprise Days FED.

The FED function will come up soon...it was a 3 day account of cognitive dissonance mixed with social ineptitude (not being able to fit in with the rest).

The red flags were not as pronounced at the time, because I still had the desire to make money and truly believed the guy was there to help me. One of my favorite expressions is 20/20 hindsight, and it couldn't be a more perfect example here. The other one, roughly summarized from Mark Cuban is, nobody gives out good advice for free, and if the deal is really good, the last thing they are going to do is share it with you. As I look back, it is really easy for me to truly pick apart my story and highlight the terrific nonsense that was used on me.

I went to the FED function for a couple of reasons, and sadly none of them are good.
1. The tickets were approximately $150 for the weekend, but because I was new, I got a guest pass for free.
2. I was told that this was the biggest event of the year (obviously not true as they hold at least 4 of these stupid things a year), and I was about to stop trying to learn about this nonsense but figured if there was anywhere I would understand...it would be there.
3. I still really liked the guy, and even though he was terrible at explaining the business and deflected everything to his mentor (upline), he had a certain sense of innocence and honesty. I truly believe, especially because he was new to this as well, that he wanted it to be a real thing, AND he was trying to help others...not realizing he was doing the opposite. That opinion has changed recently as he became so detached, and fell off the deep end. However, originally I believe he had good intentions.

I never pursued the internet for answers until after the FED...it honestly never dawned on me to try and learn more until I felt as though I had been had.

There were a couple of other reasons for why I kept going down this path that are truly embarrassing...but they are all connected to two things.
1. I wanted to provide for my future family...as I am getting married soon.
2. I was vulnerable when I got out of college, and still am, but have a better understanding of my vulnerabilities, and therefore I was easy prey for the scam. I would've tried anything short of selling blood and semen (which looking back are both much better answers).

    1. Anonymous- I've often wondered about going in to one just to curse out the Amway cult leaders and call them lying scamming bastards. You know how much those Ambots hate the truth!

    3. Anonymous - I'm with you. Although I'm happy cursing out Amway cult leaders I can buy $100 runners. In fact I just bought 2 pairs of Nikes @ $100 each. That ought to last longer than the average lifespan of an Ambot!

  2. Okay so, I’m doing my online research, because I was solicited by what seems to be the same scheme that has been outlined in the blog. Thank you for sharing your story and realizations! Anna - Thank you for creating this blog spot. I “googled” the name of a speaker that invited me to one of these “talks”, just the other day. His name comes up in an old blog post of yours from 2013. He’s a very slick talker and believable - believable because many of the things he says are truthful and genuine.

I’ve come to understand one very simple truth in life - there are only a very small fraction of people who will ever do anything great or impactful for free. If someone offers you something - the question you should be asking them is what is in it for them or what do they get out of it.

So, when I was invited to the function - I was told that it would be full and that strings would have to be pulled in order to get me in. Low and behold - arrangements were made and a “spot” was made available to me. I was told to say that I was a “guest” at the door. When I arrived, I noticed that there were people flocking in from all of the surrounding parking lots - at the door I noticed a group of men screening people as they entered. I also noticed one of the men had a handful of cash. I told them I was a guest and the handed me a ticket and allowed me to enter. When I arrived in the main hall, I noticed there were no seats open and that there was no discernible seating system. This simple detail tells me that the person who invited me was obviously lying when it came to “creating” an opening for me to attend. It’s a part of the ploy to get you interested - it’s called a marketing tactic.

This scheme - I’ll call it a “scheme”, because I think that better characterizes it. It don’t believe it’s a scam, because it can be considered legit, even though we all know it’s nonsense. (Nonsense can be true, doesn’t make it right.).

This scheme is all about one thing - money. That’s all it is - there are only two legitimate ways to get money period.

    1. If you sell something to someone
    2. If someone gives it to you

That’s it - if you think about it this scheme is selling something (mentoring, life coaching, entrepreneurship, success, fortune, skills, leadership, wealth, knowledge, values, etc) and many people are buying.

People are willing to give their money and time because, who wouldn’t want those things? That’s what they are betting on.

So, at this “talk” or “meeting” they made mention of a larger “conference” in Las Vegas - again they made it seem as if only certain people would be invited to learn “skills”, but they also slipped in that it would cost a mere $150. They also said up to 10k people would be attending: $150 x 10k = 1.5 million. Again, nothing in life is free folks, someone is buying and someone is selling - which are you?

    1. Hi Anonymous. Thanks for stopping by with your story. This blog is all about entertaining as well as educating. If we can prevent someone from signing up to Amway and stop them from the financial and emotional distress that will come from the Amway cult, then this blog is well worth it to warn people away.

Most Amway Ambots are slick talkers. They got to have their act down to scam in more suckers.

You didn't mention love bombing, a creepy cult tactic of hugging and over the top compliments and attention. You also didn't mention that the Ambot who's trying to sign you up says he can't promise anything but he'll try to get you in front of this real important businessman and meet for coffee.

The old Amway scam about how tickets are selling fast but they'll try to make room for you has been around for decades.

It's like these Amway fuckers are trying to do you a big favor by scamming you! LOL!

Anyway I'm glad you saw through the Amway pyramid scheme and are staying away from a certain future of financial and emotional distress.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
