Dream Stealers.
It almost sounds like alien invaders descending from an unknown universe ready
to suck out the part of your body where your dreams are kept.
I constantly heard the term “dream stealers” during Amway meetings and then
parrotted by Ambot.
In an accusatory tone he condemned our friends and relatives who didn’t support
his business as dream stealers. “They’re trying to steal my dream” or “they
don’t want my dreams to come true”. Those were terms he threw at me too as
counselled by the fucking assholes in his Amway upline.
Its a stupid ass term used as a lame excuse by IBO’s to justify their failure
at not making money in Amway. Everyone else is a dream stealer. Always blame
other people.
There’s a Disney song about how a dream is a wish your heart makes. If your
dream is in your heart then no one can steal your dream. Not without some
surgical tools to slice you open and kill you by removing your heart.
So what was Ambot’s dream? It was whatever the upline told him his dream was.
It had something to do with leaving me. That was the upline’s dream more than
it was his because Amway is all about destroying relationships. Nothing gives
those fucking assholes in the Amway upline more happiness than bringing misery
to other peoples lives.
But how many of those upline fuckers ever asked me once what my dream was? Not
a single one of them. I mean really, why would they? None of them gave a shit
about me.
And they all probably could take a good guess at my answer: “To get Ambot the
hell away from you bastards and quit Amway!!!”
What about IBOs who leave the cult. They’re also called dream stealers. They’re
poison screech out the Amway cult leaders. Stay away from them or they’ll steal
your dream too.
A dream is a thought, an idea. Its in your head and in your heart. Its not an
actual entity. I’m not sure how you can lose something that is not an object
like losing your car keys or your glasses. Or the cat got out of the house and
is lost. Or I lost Ambot again at Lowes. Someone can steal the keys, the
glasses, the cat, maybe even Ambot as attempted by the Amway cult followers. If
someone steals your car you call the police to report the theft. How can
someone steal your dream? And how do you explain that one to the cops when you
phone to report the theft?
Here’s the conversation when an Amway asshole phones the cops:
“Aw, gee, my next door neighbor is a dream stealer and he stole my dream of
owning a Porsche. I demand you arrest that son of a bitch and charge him with
theft!”
“Dream stealers” is just one of many ridiculous things I’ve heard spout from
the mouths of brainwashed IBOs. Dream stealers are further defined as losers,
failures, and people going nowhere who want to drag you down to their level.
The reality about “dream stealers” is they are usually people who love you and
don’t want to see you fail, lose your money in a scam, and suffer from any kind
of distress.
Dream stealers have an alternate point of view from the upline and that makes
them dangerous people - at least in the eyes of the sack of shit Platinum and
the other fuckers in the Amway upline because they could be responsible for
letting those dollar signs slip away.
Is it a bad thing to listen to the “dream stealers”? Instead of stealing a dream
they are really giving good advice. IBOs think the “dream stealers” are being
negative and trying to “steal my dream”. Instead all they’re doing is trying to
save the IBO from making bad business decisions.
Remember those alien invaders who are sucking the dreams out of your body?
They’re not so alien after all. The real dream stealers are the people who
actually use that phrase.
Everything you say is like you took the words right off my daughters fb blog and turned it around so I could understand what the hell happened to my smart , baby girl. It makes me so sad and in a desperate attempt to try to get her back I am going to be posting this blog for all to see. It's been 3 years of her calling us toxic and negative and posting about dreams and all this crap that didn't make any sense to me until I read your blog Anna. We are so sad and it's surreal that she will get married next weekend and has not invited any of her "negative" family. Don't let anyone steal your dreams" and other ambitious nonsense. In the End World Wide Dream Stealers are the ones who stole my daughter away from her loving family and my dreams of seeing her get married. Now we aren't good enough:( we are low income class and she wants nothing to do with any of us:( I wish Amway and their brainwashing cult of a mentorship program didn't exist:( maybe she will read this and finally realize that she won't retire at 25 , they are sucking her hard earned money away in products she has to buy and that she has lost the people that love her most in an effort to live a dream that is nothing more than scams and lies and true evilness:(
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - I hope you're learning more than you ever wanted about the Amway cult. Amway only brings financial and emotional distress to the lives it infects. WWDB = World Wide Destructive Bastards and they're about the most vicious of all of Amway's cult sects.
DeleteThe most negative people I've met in my life have all been in the Amway cult. Ironic that they label the rest of the world negative and losers. In this blog we throw those words right back in their faces. We aim to entertain and educate around here. And like I said you need to read Merchants of Deception. Free ebook download is on a link on the right side of this page.
One of the ways Amway recruits new suckers is by saying they're a mentorship and leadership training program. LOL!
Maybe you can hire someone who specializes in cult interventions though you only have a few days left. Basically its kidnapping and deprogramming. You might want to look at Rick Ross website though I don't know if it gives specific instructions or lists grab guys https://culteducation.com/
This woman's account of how her rotten daughter has been brainwashed by WWDB (an Amway subsystem) is horrifying.
DeleteThis girl refuses to invite her parents to her wedding because they are not in Amway, have not supported her in it, and are NOT RICH ENOUGH for her!
I can't think of a more telling example to show how deeply evil and disgusting the entire Amway racket is. And these fucking Amway scum claim to be "Christians."
Yup everything you said Anonymous. And if Amway Ambots are what Christians are all about no one would want to be one. Or at least no one who is honest, truthful, kind, and treats others with respect.
DeleteIt's truly heartbreaking and all we can do is hope she wakes up when she doesn't retire at 25
DeleteAnna, sometimes your Amway up-line will tell you that your dream is not good enough. Suppose an IBO says "I just want to make two or three hundred dollars extra every month, to supplement my salary from my job. That's all."
ReplyDeleteUp-line (and other IBOs in his group) will laugh and jeer at him, saying "Your dream isn't big enough!" And they will mock him and berate him as a loser who doesn't have the real Amway spirit.
Of course, what's really going on is this: Up-line knows very well that a low-level IBO isn't going to make $200 or $300 dollars a month in Amway, and that he will find this fact out very soon. So they insist that he have a "bigger dream," which involves him becoming some fat-assed Diamond with cars and jet planes and mansions. If he accepts this stupid lie, they will be able to keep him hooked in the Amway racket for a much longer time -- maybe even years.
That's what only a few critics have mentioned about Amway: insisting that IBOs must have huge impossible dreams of wealth is really just a tactic to keep them from dropping out of the racket after a few months of losses. If the ordinary IBO knew that he'd never make $200 or $300 extra dollars a month, held drop out in a flash. But if he is convinced that he is bound to grow rich, he'll stay on forever, thinking that "Success is just around the corner!"
Anonymous - "sometimes"? LOL! All the time is more like it LOL! Your dream's not big enough! That's why you failed at ScAmway!
DeleteA lot of people attending Amway cult meetings just have fairly normal dreams. Like you said an extra few hundred dollars a month. Buy a car. Buy a house. Take a vacation.
Like you said. Most Ambots figure out in a few months that they'll never make the promised money and they got scammed. Then the fucking assholes in the Amway upline have to put in the hard work to convince the Ambot not to quit. You can't quit now - not when success is right around the corner.
Sadly it's just human nature that once we glom onto an idea good or bad we don't want to listen to good advice from family and friends. Of course mind control cults, be it Amway or Disciples of the Universe (I made that up) are very clever and expert at mind manipulation. Hopefully the daughter will get fed up and tell them to eff off like Ambot did when his asshole upline had the nerve to tell him to plunk down 500 bucks so some other downline could make his monthly product volume. Otherwise it never ends.
DeleteYou're right Ray. When someone gets excited about an idea you don't want to listen to good advice from people who are not involved and don't want to see you get hurt. LOL Disciples of the Universe. I'm sure a new Amway cult sect will pop up under that name.
DeleteIt's really hard to believe that an Amway up-line would ask one of his IBOs to spend $500 just so a third party further up the line could meet some kind of PV quota. I really can't fathom anyone who would have that kind of chutzpah. Since when is an IBO responsible for helping some third party get rich?
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sure it happened, because Amway produces the absolute worst kind of arrogant human garbage. I'm glad it was the last straw for Ambot, and convinced him to get out the goddamed Amway racket for good.
To anybody readings this: the Amway Corporation is totally corrupt, and their little AMO subsystems (WWDB, Network 21, BWW, TEAM, and all the others) are stinking nests of thieves.
Anonymous - consider yourself lucky if its only $500 that some fucking loser in the Amway upline is demanding the downline to spend on shitty overpriced Amway products. This is all comes down to upline abuse.
DeleteYes lets say that again because it can't be pounded in too many times!
The Amway Corporation is totally corrupt, and their little AMO subsystems (WWDB, Network 21, BWW, TEAM, and all the others) are stinking nests of thieves!!!
