Shopping At Walmart Versus Shopping At Amway

I read an article about what to buy and what to avoid at Walmart. (original link is now dead. Also prices are from when this was first posted to the blog, so expect they've gone up a bit at Walmart and a whole lot more at Amway)

Putting the same theory to the test a similar article could be written about Amway except in the what to avoid column for Amway – EVERYTHING!!!!!

Walmart Winners:

1.     Walmart 3 ply toilet paper – costs $5.97 for 12 rolls.

Compared to Amway - Here’s the good news – I don’t think Amway sells their prestige premium toilet paper anymore. Their website shows its no longer available but as I recall the cost was around $60 to $80. Yeah only brainwashed Amway ambots would shell out that kind of money so all the assholes in their Amway upline can split the profits on that hugely overpriced shitty Amway toilet paper.

Here are some reviewers comments on Amway’s prestige toilet paper.

Here’s a review by “sore buns” I wish I could get my money back it is the worst toilet paper I have ever bought.

Another reviewer says : lacks softness and gentleness, must use more to get the job done

2.     Walmart paper towels – 6 rolls for $6.84.

Ooop------- prestige paper towels is another Amway product that’s gone into the shitter. Website says No longer available. Probably priced too high is my guess like all the other shitty overpriced Amway products. And probably similar to the reviews above – the worst paper towels ever and must use more to get the job done.

3.     Walmart SPF 50 Sunscreen - $9 for 16 oz bottle

If you check out Amway’s website you’ll see a bunch of Peter Island brand sunscreens that are no longer available, price unknown but I’m sure you’ll see the pattern – Amway only sells overpriced shitty products. But one thing that’s still available is a 50spf face sunscreen for – Yikes hold on to your hats!!!! – $60 for one ounce!!!! Holy fuck!!!!!! Amway = RIP OFF!!!!

4.     Lets just pass over the BBQ grill and air conditioner. I don’t know if Amway sells these items and even though Walmart does I probably wouldn’t buy them there either anyway. As for the vacuum, food processor, toaster – yeah I’d buy those from Walmart but I don’t know if Amway sells these items and if they did they’d cost an arm and a leg and I wouldn’t buy them from Scamway anyway.

5.     Walmart Laundry Soap - $8.97 for 100 oz.

Amway’s similar laundry product is just over 100 oz and costs over $40! But that’s typical of how Amway’s products are priced – 3 to 4 times more than what costs in the stores so there’s enough profit margin for all the assholes in the Amway upline to get a piece of the commission.

So there you have it – to get good value and a better product shop Walmart instead of Amway.

Not to mention you get your product NOW instead of waiting a week for Amway’s shit to show up on your doorstep not to mention the added cost of shipping fees. Yeah when I’m out of toilet paper NOW I am getting in my car and driving to the store to buy some not doing the Amway ambot thing and ordering online and using my hands as toilet paper for the next week.

Amway ambots are so fucking gross that way!!!!

Walmart’s slogan: Save Money Live Better

Amway’s slogan: Lose Money Live Worse

  1. The typical reply of an Amway asshole to this information about price differences would be this: "Wouldn't you pay more for quality?"

It's a stupid answer, and the best response is to say this: "How do I know that what you're trying to sell me is 'quality'? Is it because your fat-assed Platinum says that it is?"

Or you could say "I don't need high-priced 'quality' in my goddamned laundry soap!"

Everything in Amway is about showing off and pretending and claiming that you are better than everyone else. Even these absurdly inflated prices are driven partially by that need. A snotty Ambot will say "Our stuff is expensive because it is really SUPERIOR!" But the real reason is that everybody in your Amway up-line has to get a cut of the sale.

    1. Anonymous - in the real world many of us will pay more money for an item of higher quality. Of course depending on what that item is. I will pay more money for a good pair of hiking boots that last me many years versus spending $50 on a pair of runners to go hiking with LOL!

But in the Amway world it does not apply. There is nothing that ScAmway sells that is high quality demanding of a higher price tag.

But Amway losers are trained to spout off the bullshit about wouldn't you pay more money for higher quality products. Which is totally stupid. Just one of the canned bullshit responses Ambots are taught to say to overcome objections when selling Amway shit.

Walmart sells quality and cheaper products to appeal to a wide range of clients who have different tastes and different budgets. Amway can't make the same claim.

    2. In Amway the products don't really matter. They are just a cover-up for the fact that the entire racket is a pyramid scheme based on endless recruitment and the forced sale of "tools."

    3. Anonymous - yup that's right. Amway has products for sale only to keep the regulators off their back. Those products are the reason Amway is a legal pyramid scheme instead of an illegal pyramid scheme. Like all pyramid schemes Amway is more about recruitment than product sales.

  2. I will gladly take a 35-bottle Deer Park Case at Walmart for under $8 versus paying well over $40 for 24-bottles of "Perfect Water".

    1. Exactly. Water is water especially when it's bottled - tastes pretty much the same no matter what brand it is.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. There's over 1000 spam comments left here each month. We don't check them. We just delete them. If your comment landed in spam - sucks to be you!
