In case anyone missed the comments exchange on the Tax Deductions post that fucking Amway asshole IBOFB seems to think that upline IBO’s who are violating Amway policy, telling lies, or otherwise given misleading information should be reported to Amway who will take action.

I did make a complaint to Amway about false information given to us at an Amway meeting by the sack of shit Platinum. At the time I didn’t know I’d been lied to and was asking for assistance from Amway on this issue. The Amway employee stated what I’d been told was not Amway policy and then told me where Amway policy regarding that issue can be found. I told her I had been given this information by the Platinum at an Amway meeting. Amway employee said they are not responsible for incorrect information that might be given out at meetings and when I suggested Amway take action on this person, I was told Amway has no interest in doing that but suggested I speak to Platinum about the lie he told. Furthermore the fucking Amway employee told me he’d put a note on my file that I’d “been informed” just in case I tried to phone back and take it up with Amway again.
Although some people have unrealistic views of companies and people they admire and think they can do no wrong, life doesn’t always work out that way. Years ago one of my friends was in a tizzy that Martha Stewart was headed for jail. How could that be?! LOL! Then that motherfucker IBOFB has unrealistic expectations that Amway will actually act on complaints IBO’s have about their upline. It just ain’t so. I’ve tried. I’m sure others have tried. Based on my experience Amway doesn’t give a shit.
Amway is hardly the only company around guilty of inaction. Years ago a company I worked for - my supervisor was violating company policy. I informed the HR manager a few times each time an incident occurred. Nothing happened. If the HR department doesn’t give a shit, why should I, and I stopped informing. I’d say close to a year passed before I couldn’t keep silent anymore and informed the HR manager again of what was still going on. A couple of years after I quit I heard that supervisor had been given the old heave ho. And it’s about fucking time!
And it also finally happened with Amway. Our sack of shit Platinum got fired. Yup where else but Amway can you get fired when you’re a “business owner”. LOL! And it had nothing to do with any complaints we’d attempt to file against that sack of shit because he got fired from Amway a long time later.
That fucking Amway loser IBOFB can have his jaded view that Amway actually gives a shit when IBO’s complain about their upline. There are enough blogs, books, media attention, etc to show that’s simply not the case.

He twisted statistics, defended the indefensible, tried to deny what was patently obvious to anyone who knew about Amway -- I mean, the guy was obsessively fixated on playing Whack-A-Mole with anybody who said the slightest thing against Amway.

DeleteCorporations either have someone on staff in their office or hire outside contract workers to help with their online presence. That means following and commenting on social media, forums, blogs to try to resolve issues or thank people for good reviews. You have to have a pleasant personality, be professional and courteous, and be a good online ambassador for the company you're representing. Some companies have had big problems when the person doing their social media has some kind of meltdown and it turns into a train wreck.
Amway is already a a trainwreck with a bad reputation. They hire this dumb ass motherfucker to help with their image and he goes all over the Internet making himself and Amway look like a bunch of dumb fucks. At some point Amway realizes they have a whole army of Ambots who are willing to go all over the Internet and make themselves and Amway look like a bunch of dumb fucks - for free! What's the better deal. Paying someone to make all of you look like a bunch of fucking assholes or have a bunch of Ambots willing to make all of you look like a bunch of fucking assholes for free. Yeah cut the anchor loose that you're paying! LOL!
These days Ambots are quite capable of screeching outrageous comments online directed at anyone who says anything against Amway - for free. Why should Amway pay for a service they can get for free. Excellent business decision! LOL!
David Steadson still has a Facebook account where he has collected a few dozen pro-Amway You-tube videos... all just rah-rah propaganda for the Amway racket. But it's essentially dormant; Steadson himself seems to have vanished into the wind. Good riddance.
ReplyDeleteHe used to have a female playmate (Bridgett Barron) who also was a shill for Amway. Together they were known in the Business as "Jack and Jill." She's gone too. It was clear as day that both of them were paid mouthpieces for Amway, and would say anything at all (regardless of the truth) to defend the Great God of Ada, Michigan.

How many people would take a job with a company that has a bad reputation? And we know that Amway nickel and dimes people to death so we're not talking a job that pays big money.
You know if Amway offered me a million dollars to be a paid mouthpiece thinking that would be quite a feat for them to hire someone who's been telling people what Amway is really like for years - I'd tell them to go fuck themselves.
My soul is more important to me than money.
