Do You Remember Quixtar?

Years ago Amway changed its name to Quixtar. I’m not sure when but I’ll throw out 2000 give or take a couple of years. I know our first round of Amway hell the name was Quixtar but I don’t know for sure when the name change happened because it was already in effect.

There seemed to be a couple of rumors why the name changed to Quixtar. One of the rumors had to do with inheritance tax that the children of the Amway owners were taking over and by changing the name and creating a new company they could avoid or lessen their taxes. I don’t know if that is true - the part about getting out of paying taxes. I have no idea. Its what we were told by the fucking assholes in the Amway upline.

The other theory - and the more likely one - the name change was to get away from Amway’s bad image. Creating the new name Quixtar would take people awhile longer to figure out that it had something to do with ScAmway. Rebranding themselves with a new name and a new image. It might have worked if the greedy bastards had priced their products to be competitive with other products in the marketplace and if they’d gotten rid of the troublemakers, the cult sects and the Amway tool scam. But no. Not an option when you’re driven by greed!

Ambot got involved again around the time the name change back to Amway was announced. Its now been a few years since Amway has been referred to as Quixtar.

The fact that the name has changed a few years ago doesn’t seem to stop people from searching for Quixtar.

So you know what that means! Keywords! We’re still getting searches for Quixtar function or Quixtar Spring Leadership and spelled Quickstar. Let me spell it wrong again just in case. Quikstar. Quiktar. Quickstar. Quick Star. Quix Star. How many ways can that word be spelled?

Call it what you want. Amway. Alticor. Quixtar. WWDB World Wide Dream Builder functions. It all adds up to one thing = SCAMWAY!!!

Pyramid scheme. Cult. Brainwashing. Liars.

Take your Quixtar and shove it where the sun don’t shine!

  1. The story about changing the company name because of "inheritance taxes" was absolute bullshit. That was nothing but a cover story for dumb IBOs.

The real reason was the slow but steady collapse of Amway's reputation when the internet started to become widespread. Amway couldn't stop the bad stories from coming out, and couldn't prevent IBOs from reading solid criticism of the entire MLM racket, and Amway's deceptions in particular. So the name "Amway" was out, and the name "Quixtar" was in.

This shows that Amway was still stuck in a pre-computer world. You can't just change your company's name today, and expect that people won't notice. The news of the change will spread world-wide on the internet, in a flash.

This is why Amway now orders its IBOs never to use the internet at all. It's a desperation move.

    1. Anonymous - agreed! Uncle Sam's gonna get you one way or another to pay taxes. But it was a good bullshit story for Amway cult leaders to drill into the heads of the brainwashed Ambots.

I mean what else are those Amway cult leaders going to say? The truth - the name change is because of Amway's shitty reputation.

Imagine a reality where your boss orders you to stay off the Internet. Welcome to Amway - the Cult of Greed.

    2. Amway along with the AMOs has this weird fetish with their names. The whole Quixtar thing was for Amway to hide behind their business practices. The names of AMOs in the internet age are deceptively made for a reason as well.

For example, my old organization ( URA / URAssociation / UR Association ) (I type it out three different ways to help people who search) is just strange. When I was involved, we were told that the name was "important" due to "your association" with the team. Odd.

And when you go to their website ( URAssocation.info ), the deception continues. Amway is not mentioned.

Again, if Amway is so wonderful, a) why did the main company for a time change the name of its business when the heat was coming down and b) why do the AMOs shy away from mentioning it on their websites?

Food for thought. I hope someone sees this and the realization wakes them up if they are considering joining.

    3. Hi Anonymous. Yes we like to put in a lot of keywords to reel in brainwashed Amway Ambots!

URAssociation.info and other cult sects don't like to mention Amway due to its bad reputation. I mean its pretty fucking embarrassing to admit any involvement with Amway cause then everyone knows you're a loser.

If you're too embarrassed to say the name of the company you work for - then its time to find another job.

    4. Hi Anna. I have the distinct honor (sarcasm) of being a new IBO in 2001. They had just done the transition to Quixtar. We were told the name change was because of the brave new world of internet retail. That made sense at the time, because there were plenty of ridiculous webby-sounding company names popping up all over the place back then. I think they were hoping it would sound more legit by doing this. At 23 years old, my husband fell for it and drug me along with him. I lost my best friends, my 20s, what should have been a joyful time of life as a young mother, and my dignity. I’ll never regret anything more.

    5. Hi Anonymous. I’m glad you found us!

Amway is all about destroying relationships and causing financial and emotional distress. Just like me and you and so many others have found out.

Luckily you were in your 20s and young enough to bounce back financially. Amway had scammed seniors out of their life savings. When you’re in the last half century of your life its not easy to rebuild.

All we can do is get the word out about our Amway experiences and hope to stop others from making the same mistake.

  2. I saw today where Bezos just sold another couple billion dollars worth of Amazon stock. Reminded me of going to the Quixtar IBO meetings and hearing them poke fun at some dumb online bookselling called Amazon. If only I had bought Amazon stock back then...

    1. Yeah there's a lot of us that would like to go back in time and buy a stock when it was affordable. Or not buy a stock when it turned out to be a stinker!

    2. Amway's policy is to poke fun at any business that isn't Amway.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
