We have a lot of fun with search criteria that people use to
show up at the marriedtoanambot blog.
One of the searchers wants to know “what happens when you don’t pay Amway”
First off not paying Amway is a very good thing because that means you aren’t
getting scammed out of your money buying substandard products for a premium
price.
Amway is only your friend as long as you shop in their store.
No shop. No friends no more!
I would say the answer is as simple as any online retailer you shop from. Don’t
pay them and they won’t send you the goods you put in your shopping cart.
Also the same as the annual membership fee Amway charges you for the
“privilege” gag gag of shopping in their store. Don’t pay your annual fee you
don’t get to shop there. And some fat cat at Amway has a little less money in
their bank account.
Costco is the same way. Don’t pay your annual membership fee and the bouncer
standing at the door at Costco won’t let you in.
I would say its a very good thing when you don’t pay Amway. That means you quit
doing business with them and you’re not getting ripped off anymore.
I encourage everyone not to pay Amway!
Anna, I think that what the searcher wanted to know was this: What happens in Amway if I refuse to buy the tools, or go to the functions, or attend meetings where entrance fees are charged?
ReplyDeleteHe probably was confused because the official Amway literature tells you that you are not obliged to pay anything to your immediate up-line for teaching and guidance in the business. Your up-line is required to give you that training for free.
But in many of the AMO subsystems, your up-line and those above him will say that they refuse to work with you if you do not buy the "tools" that the AMO offers, or if you refuse to attend the expensive functions. So there's a conflict here.
Of course an IBO is required to pay for the Amway products that he is supposed to sell to others at a profit. The searcher surely knows that. But what he probably doesn't know is that there is very little real market for Amway products in the general population, and therefore all the Amway junk that he buys will most likely end up in his garage or basement.
Hi Anonymous. Yup all of that. And it could also be that someone is so brainwashed that they need step by step instructions to deal with things that normal people who have normal thought processes have no problem figuring out.
