Amway URA Spring Leadership

We mostly talk about WWDB World Wide Destructive Bastards major functions because that is the Amway cult sect I know. One of our readers shares URA Spring Leadership. Hmm. URA.

U R Asshole!

Thanks for the inside information that all sounds very familiar. Same shit. Different asshole.

Same thing with URA (URAssociation) Spring Leadership. It's coming up soon. Typically, it's in either Washington DC, National Harbor MD, Baltimore MD, or Pittsburgh PA. They made a U-Turn back in January when they held Winter Conference in Florida and forced everyone to drive or fly down from the Mid-Atlantic down there.

The other two major functions are Summer Conference and FED (Free Enterprise Days). They announced at a Winter Conference some years back that they could not use the term, "Dream Night" as that was referred to before as a directive from the company. Not sure if WWDB and URA butted heads over that or if Amway Legal was really concerned about it for some reason.

Tickets to major URA functions when I was in some years back went for $93 a pop.

Typical BS too. Get there on a Friday afternoon, check in (if you can), go get a spot in line, sit there on the floor for several hours, run up to your room, get changed, sit through the Friday Night session, then a Night Owl.

Saturday morning, get up from your overly packed hotel room which has five or six people in it, or wake up from sleeping on the floor all night outside of the doors to the ballroom/convention hall, arrive at 9:00AM, hear a bunch of speakers including the XS girl speak, buy your conference ticket for the next conference (also $93) when they go on sale at 1:00PM (because you have to show you're all-in with your Upline), and the session ends at 2:00PM.

But wait, there's more. As if you weren't already bored to death, you get to go to a two and a half or three hour Day Owl with your group that takes you to about 5:00PM. By this time, you're sweaty and dirty and hungry. But hey, your Upline will want to host a phone team for you to make calls after the Day Owl where you might or might not have Upline order pizza that everyone chips in for.

That takes you to about 6:00PM. Barely enough time to get a good nap because you have to fight for time to shower with your roommates because you have to change and wear a different color on Saturday night as doors open at 7:00PM for the session to start at 8:00PM. That session will run until about 11:30PM or Midnight with a Night Owl starting at around 12:20AM or 12:30AM. That will run until about 2:00AM.

Then, you either go up to your room, change, then go back down to the ballroom to sleep on the floor outside the doors or you try to get some sleep, then wake up at 8:00AM, fight for shower time, get dressed, and be at the ballroom at 9:00AM as doors will open for the 10:00AM church service.

That goes until Noon, then a break for lunch (if you can find any), and then the afternoon session starts at 1:00PM where they parade all of the different "pins" across the stage for "recognition." This happens, then more speeches, and that takes us until between 4:00PM and 5:00PM.

Then it's FINALLY time to go home. Actually, not really.

My team would either do phone team at 7:30PM so people who lived a ways from phone team would have to kill some time before they showed up that Upline's house. Or, they would go to some local gym and literally play dodgeball and tire everyone out and then give speeches afterwards. They even had a trainer run everyone through stretches and sprints on a couple of occasions. Totally insulting.

Let me just say that after about one year in this shit, I ended up getting my own hotel room and maybe going to a couple of sessions. The last conference I went to, I stayed in my room my entire time except for the free breakfast I got from Marriott or the Saturday afternoon breakout session. I tried to escape at 6:00AM on Sunday morning to drive home, but I, unfortunately ran into Crossline wondering where I had been.

So that's URA (URAsssocation). I wanted to add these comments so that people would know what to expect and so that their grueling weekends showed up in Search.

So let’s help our with a few more keywords that Amway Ambots are plugging into that Search!

  1. The price for URA's Spring Leadership function is now a lot higher than $93. It goes up every year.

Everything that this guy describes is right on target. URA is an especially nasty Amway subsystem, and they really put IBOs through the wringer at these functions. The brutal schedule, the endless meetings, the keeping of everybody physically uncomfortable -- all these things are right out of any cult's management system. Even the absurdity of forcing everyone to play dodgeball at a gym, and having a trainer run you through sprints, is precisely what is done at Parris Island by the Marine Corps to break down the will and the resistance of new recruits.

The whole thing is this: it's not about teaching you how to have a good Amway business. It's all about teaching you to be mindlessly obedient.

    1. Anonymous - besides the faces - the only thing that changes in Amway is the prices keep going up! LOL!

That's the whole point of Amway cult meetings - teaching the ambots to be mindlessly obedient.

  2. Good grief, WWDB is not the only Amway association hosting these events?! URA's modus operandi sounds exactly the same but with a different name. No surprises at all.

    1. There are so many AMO subsystems in the Amway racket that it's hard to keep track of them all. But they all spout the same lies and bullshit, and they all hold the useless and expensive "functions."

    2. Anonymous - unfortunately Amway has quite a few cult sects and like the other anonymous said it's hard to keep track of them all. The new Amway cult sects spring up when disgruntled Diamond cult leaders are not happy with their share of greed pie so they create their own group to keep more of the profits from the Amway tool scam.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
