Quitters Day falls on the second Friday in January and this year it’s today - January 9.
Quitters Day is the day when many people who make New Year’s resolutions quit on doing them.
For anyone that gives a shit this research was conducted by a company called Strava which is a social network for athletes and collected data from millions of users who shared their decision to quit.
People who set New Year’s resolutions usually begin highly motivated to lose weight, start working out at a gym, or what have you but the drive to continue usually diminishes quickly.
95% of Amway participants quit within 2 years. Most within the first few months. At first they are highly motivated by the Amway cult leaders who promise they will be making bazillions of dollars in monthly residual income from Amway within 2 to 5 years and then can walk away and do nothing for the rest of their lives while the money keeps rolling in.
Amway Ambots usually quit when they realize the promised riches just aren’t there and the only way they can make money in ScAmway is by scamming other people out of their money.
For the Amway losers who make a New Year’s resolution to become an Ambot or keep being an Amway Ambot - today is the day for you to quit!
There is no shame in quitting a pyramid scheme.
There is no shame in working a job where you make real money on payday.
There is no shame in getting away from an evil cult.
There is no shame in deciding you don’t want to be abused by the fucking assholes in your Amway upline.
There is no shame in deciding you have better uses for your money than throwing it away on a scam MLM.
There is no shame in wanting a better life for yourself and family but Amway won’t make it happen.
There is no shame in quitting something that brings you emotional and financial distress and fucks up your life.

There are two main ways we can destroy Amway.
ReplyDeleteThe first is to keep publishing anecdotes on-line from ex-IBOs who will describe the unfairness and false promises of Amway and its AMO subsystems. Years of doing this have practically shut down new recruitment in North America, and are beginning to have an effect even in foreign countries. This is why Amway is so desperate to forbid any of its members from using the internet.
The second is to get unhappy Amway IBOs to quit the business totally. This is easier, because unhappy people usually take steps to get out of the situation that is hurting them. Our task, here on-line, is to provide them with encouragement and support. Since 95% of Amway IBOs quit within two years of joining, we have a pretty good batting average!
The problem is with Amway "lifers," or "core" Ambots. They are the ones who have been so completely propagandized and brainwashed by Amway bullshit that they simply are incapable of seeing the truth, or acting to extricate themselves from the racket. Frequently they will say, "Yes, I'm losing money, but it's all my own fault," or "Amway is a great opportunity if you know how to use it," or "I love my up-line, and they are my best friends."
When persons say this, you know their situation is hopeless. Amway has become their religion. They will never quit and will defend Amway with their dying breath. They are victims of what grifters in the past called "a long con," meaning that they have been cheated and ripped off, but don't know it and refuse to believe that they have been robbed. They'll just continue to pay $700 a month to get a ten-buck refund check.
Anonymous - yup all very accurate. And as you pointed out why Amway cult leaders are scared to death of the Internet. And forbid the Ambots for looking up anything to do with Amway. People who share their Amway horror stories online are having an effect on dwindling recruitment and loss of sales. Particularly in English speaking countries and as you pointed out having an effect in other countries around the world where Amway is losing sales and recruits. I also think our current administration might help with animosity in other countries. There is such a strong anti-American sentiment in other countries around the world. Foreigners don’t want to buy American products. And Amway’s high prices are only getting higher in other countries thanks to all the tariffs. No one wants to do business with America. We just have to wait and see if that includes foreign Ambots.
