For A Nice Change – Amway Gets Fucked!

It’s been a month so it’s about time I got around to writing a post on the FTC slamming an historic fine against Amway and two of their most evil abusive cult sects. We’ve chatted a bit about it in the comments and this post will be a bit long with copy and pastes from the judgement.

The fine is a jaw dropping $225 million! Happy dance! Happy dance! Amway gets fucked! Fuck Amway!

LOL IFOBF must have been shitting his diapers when he heard about that LOL! As were many of the fat cats at the top of the Amway pyramid.

It is with great pleasure that I saw the Amway cult sect we were in getting named in the action. WWG aka World Wide Group aka WWDB aka World Wide Dream Builders aka World Wide Destructive Bastards. The other cult sect named in the suit is LTD aka Leadership Team Development.

If you haven’t read it yet here you go https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/news/press-releases/2026/09/ftc-takes-historic-action-against-multilevel-marketing-operator-amway-unfair-deceptive-business

As you know this blog is more about cursing out the fucking assholes in the Amway upline and talking about what those lying scamming vermin told us and what really happens at Amway meetings. We’re not so much about the business end of things other than constantly reminding everyone that getting involved in Amway is a really shitty idea. You can go to Joecool’s blog - see a link on the right side of the page in the blog list - to discuss more about the business end of things and how this ruling will affect Amway and their co-defendants. But it’s time. We gotta tackle some of this because of course we’re just loving that Amway and their cult sects finally are being held accountable for all the misery they’ve caused for decades.

“Amway and its affiliates misled prospective workers with false earnings claims and then pressured them to buy Amway products they were unlikely to be able to sell,” said Christopher Mufarrige, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “Today’s action makes clear that the FTC will not tolerate any company deceiving workers—whether through deceptive earnings claims or by promoting reports of false sales to make direct selling or multilevel marketing opportunities look appealing to consumers.”

Let’s chew on that for a bit. What have we been saying all along? That Amway Ambots are liars. Lying about how much money can be made in ScAmway and the fucking assholes in the Amway upline using financial intimidation and pressure on Ambots to buy shitty overpriced useless Amway products. We’ve talked about closets and garages stuffed full of Amway shit that’s being stockpiled just to get the PV or BV up there just so some fucker in the Amway upline can meet their month’s goals.

The complaint also alleges that Amway, WWG and LTD deceive consumers in ways that make it difficult for IBOs to make informed decisions, including:

  • Falsely telling IBOs that they are likely to earn substantial income, exceeding $40,000 a year, or that they are likely to earn income that will replace their full-time job or allow them to retire early, when most IBOs who joined WWG or LTD after 2020 spent more money on Amway products and training than they received from Amway
  • Falsely telling IBOs that they are likely to recruit multiple IBOs into the business to help them succeed, when in fact most consumers who joined Amway and WWG or LTD did not recruit multiple participants
  • Falsely telling IBOs that they are joining an exclusive opportunity in which they will get access to mentoring from highly successful leaders, when in fact the Amway opportunity is open to any prospective IBO who follows the instructions of their recruiter, and the “mentors” IBOs work with are typically not highly successful

I disagree about the year being 2020 and think the year could be pushed back easily as far as 1990 and probably even earlier. But perhaps the ruling only could go back a set number of years due to local laws. The order comes from Washington state where apparently WWG is registered. Lying about earning $40,000/year is a bit on the lowball side. We heard amounts between $50,000 to $100,00 at meetings run by our sack of shit Platinum and up to $750,000 at meetings run by Diamonds. Earning bazillions of dollars a month in residual income for the rest of your life after 2 to 5 years in Amway working 10 to 15 hours a week is more like it.

Falsely telling IBOs that they can sign up many IBOs is a huge one. That’s on the Amway propaganda and it looks on good on paper. Likewise any pyramid or Ponzi scheme looks good on paper. But what’s the likelihood of carrying it out. What’s the likelihood of finding 2 people for your downline? Let alone 6 or more downline? It’s really hard finding people open to being scammed out of their money. Especially since there is so much information about Amway online written by victims. The small print on Amway’s propaganda says only a fraction of 1% of all participants will make money each month. But who reads the small print? And how many IBOs actually sign up one person to ScAmway let alone the number of people the propaganda suggests is needed to make a few hundred bucks a month.

And here’s the part that’s going to be a real kick in the nuts for the highest Amway cult leaders who make the bulk of their income from the Amway tool scam mostly by selling tickets to brainwashing conferences.

In addition, the proposed order requires Amway, WWG and LTD to change their practices, including as follows:

  • IBOs will be required to sell to others at least 70% of the products they purchase from Amway each month.
  • Recruiters will receive substantially reduced compensation if the IBOs they recruit buy products but do not resell them.
  • IBOs will need to report all of their customer sales promptly, including the actual sales price, and Amway will send receipts to all of an IBO’s customers.
  • Amway must terminate IBOs who fake sales or teach others to do so.
  • Amway’s sales records will be audited regularly by an independent outside auditor.
  • IBOs will be required to receive training on these rules and others prior to being allowed to recruit.
  • Amway must require approved providers, including WWG and LTD, to not charge new IBOs for any training or services during their first year.

I think we’re about to see a lot of Ambots leaving Amway faster than usual. Like how is it possible to sell 70% of the overpriced Amway shit you buy every month to others? You know how we were all taught to make up fake customers? That could be a problem based on the above. But you know those lying scamming Amway bastards will still find a way to get around this. But I like that an outside independent auditor is going to be checking this.

Most Ambots quit Amway within a few months when they realize they got scammed. There’s not many Ambots who will make it to the one year mark when the cult leaders can now start charging them for meetings, recordings, books and other “training” materials including ticket sales where this supposed training is going on. You know. That golden nugget of information that is dangled in front of you that is always going to be revealed by the leader at the next Amway cult meeting.

I can’t tell you how many times our sack of shit Platinum said if we didn’t buy the tools then he wouldn’t work with us. And that’s been something Amway has had in their propaganda saying that tools aren’t mandatory and that our upline is still required to work with us and help us even if we don’t buy them. Yup just another fucking Amway lie. Our sack of shit Platinum was all about giving the big old FUCK YOU to Amway and its rules.

I read through the order which is on PDF https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/Amway-StipulatedOrder-filed.pdf  and one of the things I liked says the IBO is not allowed to have a downline unless they have made 3 “real” customer sales that can be verified and that they’ve completed training. I’m guessing the FTC has ordered some kind of training over and above Amway University.

And although it’s too late for any of us I LOVE this part especially since Amway has to pay for the shipping. Aw gee no thanks you can keep the shit we don’t want to pay the shipping costs to get it back LOL:

Refunds for Participants and Former Participants

1. Participants and former Participants are entitled to a full refund of the cost,

including tax and any fees, of any unopened and unsold products or any

currently marketable and unsold products purchased while they were

Participants from Defendant Amway Corp. within the previous twelve (12)

months. If Amway Corp. requires, as part of its refund procedure, that

refundable products be returned, Amway Corp. will pay for any shipping costs

associated with such return. Defendants shall take effective steps to notify

Participants of both (a) the right to return refundable products for a full refund

and (b) the mechanism(s) by which Participants can return refundable

products for a full refund. If Amway Corp. determines that a product is not

eligible for a refund after it has been returned, Amway Corp. shall return the

product to the Participant or former Participant upon request.

And this is pretty good what Amway cult leaders and Ambots are not allowed to do:

Misrepresenting or assisting others in misrepresenting, expressly or by implication:

1. The amount of sales Participants have made or the payments, revenue,

income, earnings, or profits Participants have received or obtained, including

by characterizing gross payments received or obtained by Participants as

profits, net earnings, or net income;

2. That Participants will or are likely to achieve substantial sales, revenue,

earnings, income, or profit;

LOL! This is how Amway cult leaders get the crowd fired up screaming about how much money there is to be made in Amway and the dollar amount keeps going up the longer the liar on the stage is talking.

Of course the thing I’ve been wondering is how Amway and the two cult sects are going to split up how they pay the $225 million. My guess is that only Amway can scrounge up that kind of money either through selling assets or taking a loan. And then WWG and LTD would have to repay Amway head office. But it’s broken down in the order.

Amway must pay $154,700,000. WWG and LTD must each pay $39,780,000. Apparently all that money is sitting in escrow so that tells us WWG and LTD are more profitable than we could have imagined. There’s good money to be made scamming people. I thought for sure those two cult sects would declare bankruptcy and leave Amway holding the bag for the full amount.

So who’s doing the math? Add them up = $234,260,000! Any amounts that ScAmway and their cult sects get slammed with higher than the $225 million is excellent!

And you gotta love this one separate from the above:

An additional judgment in the amount of Twenty-Six Million Five Hundred

Twenty Thousand Dollars ($26,520,000) is entered in favor of the Commission against

Defendant Leadership Team Development, Inc. and Defendant Amway Corp., jointly and

severally, as monetary relief.

The cashola was ordered to be coughed up within 7 days! LOL! Love it!

The commission ain’t quite done with these scammers:

An additional judgment in the amount of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000) is

entered in favor of Washington State against Defendants. Pursuant to RCW 19.86.080,

Washington shall recover and Defendants shall pay Washington the amount of $4,000,000 for

costs and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Washington in pursuing this matter, for

monitoring and potential enforcement of this Order.

Did everyone else get $185,220,000 total judgement that Amway has to puke up?

And the commission just keeps fucking Amway and their cult sects in the ass in case they have any ideas on getting out of paying the money or getting it back again LOL!!

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that:

Defendants relinquish dominion and all legal and equitable right, title, and interest

in all assets transferred pursuant to this Order and may not seek the return of any assets.

The facts alleged in the Complaint will be taken as true, without further proof, in

any subsequent civil litigation by or on behalf of the Commission or the State, including in a

proceeding to enforce its rights to any payment or monetary judgment pursuant to this Order,

such as a nondischargeability complaint in any bankruptcy case.

Amway is also ordered to email all participants in their scam since January 2021 letting them know about this order so that they can receive compensation. That email template is on the last page of the judgement and directs the participant how they can claim compensation.

It’s too late for many of us but at least more recent victims will get some financial relief. And to the people who were dumb enough to sign up to ScAmway after 2021 – why the fuck weren’t you doing your research and reading this blog first!

One thing this ruling has done is make Amway responsible for the actions of their cult sects and what is being said at Amway meetings. And it’s about fucking time! Previous to this ruling if you phoned in to head office to complain – the response was that they’re not responsible for what is said at Amway meetings! If Amway isn’t responsible for what is said at Amway meetings – then who the fuck is?!!!! This order is making Amway responsible and this is a fucking big victory!

Yeah! Happy dance! Happy dance!

Reading about this judgement is such a huge victory for all of us who have taken the time to warn others to stay the hell away from Amway and their army of ScAmbots unless they too want to suffer the misery of being financially and emotionally abused by Amway’s cult leaders.

Ever since the marriedtoanambot blog has been up - Amway’s annual sales have been nearly slashed in half. Some of Amway’s warehouses have shut down as have some of their other holdings. We are making a difference and our work ain’t done yet. Not until this evil has been wiped off the earth forever. And this ruling is a huge step in that direction.

Remember how Amway cult leaders used to brag that Amway owned the stadium in Orlando? Until we got up some articles here saying that the city owned it and the name for the arena was bid on and Amway won paying $40 million dollars for 10 years. Currently it’s known as the Kia Center. The bid and the number of years have not been publicly disclosed but for reference Kia paid $52 million to put their name on the Los Angeles Forum for 10 years. If Amway couldn’t afford another $40 million or so to advertise on the Orlando arena then let’s hope the $185+ million is really going to kick them in the balls.

Is this $225 million judgement the beginning of the end for Amway? Oh how we hope. It’s such a huge victory. Amway has been fucking over victims for years leaving them in debt and financial ruin, divorce, broken families, and bankruptcy.

Amway never takes responsibility.

Amway is a blame the victim scam.

And finally the FTC comes along and slams Amway with an historic fine because of their refusal to take responsibility and now Amway is the one getting fucked in the ass for a change. And how sweet it is.

Fuck Amway and fuck their evil army of Ambots!

And just wondering. Has anyone noticed if Peter Island is up for sale to pay off this debt?

LOL! Happy dance! Happy dance!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. There's over 1000 spam comments left here each month. We don't check them. We just delete them. If your comment landed in spam - sucks to be you!
