My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

10 Warning Signs of a Dangerous Amway Leader
5 comments:
Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
my first love recently broke up with me because he saw no future together since he's doing amway. may i ask if i was wrong in telling him it's a scam? do the emeralds earn any money at all?? please help me know the truth, i'm so confused :( his upline does receive a bank statement each month!
ReplyDeleteI can give you my view. Its impossible to make money in amway. Commissions are too small and products to expensive. Hence you dont have a business. What you have is a scheme whereby you sell to others a dream. Through agreeing to self consume products, and convince others to the same you create a flow of products which creates income bonus for those further up the pyramid. As either greed or naieve belief it can work is sufficient to persuade people to join on a continuous basis, sufficient flow is achieved to keep money rolling up. The large numbers at the bottom contributes to a few at the top who probably made money. These people at the top have enormous energy and motivational skills allowing them to build groups of many thousands. Few can do this. Some can take it to emerald or diamond level at exceptional effort and costs. Practically all of them are unable to maintain these levels and see their business collapse. Look at mlm earnings lists and you will see only a handfull of amway people on millionaire income. These people also make large incomes from tools which are forced on the rank and file. Again the minnows feeding those on top.
DeleteHi Anonymous. Sorry to hear about breaking up with your first love. You can be very certain that your boyfriend was pressured by the people in his Amway upline to break up with you because you're not part of their cult. Nothing brings those Amway bastards more happiness than destroying other relationships. Amway is no different than any other cult in that way. They have to separate their cult followers from people who can reason with them and convince them it's a scam and get them to quit which means less $$$ in their pockets. I know it's hard to accept that he chose selling soap instead of staying with you but over is over and it's the best for you to stay away instead of getting sucked into his misery. People in Amway are the angriest people I've ever met. I wrote a post about that. I should repost it again. He'll turn into a nasty ugly sneering Amway asshole and won't miss a chance to insult you and bitch at you for not supporting his scam. He will blow through his savings and go into debt to support his Amway habit. You are better off without him
DeleteAnd yes you were right in telling him it's a scam. Look at Amway's literature. Only a tiny fraction of 1% of their sales reps make money at this scam. Over 99% failure rate. Lousy business opportunity.
Go to this website and download a free copy of a book called Merchants of Deception written by a former Amway Emerald to find out what it's like inside this horrible cult. www.transgallaxys.com/~emerald Also look at my post from March 4 with links that might help you understand this cult that has a hold of him.
Just be glad he didn't drag you down a financial hell hole. Good luck to you.
Can someone please explain to me how Amway is a pyramid scheme?
ReplyDeleteWould you rather have 100 loyal customers, who will never sign up, but will buy products from your store, or 10 new recruits, signed up ready to make millions like you tell them?
