Avoid Amway Scamway

I know I’m not the only person in the world  who wonders why so many people have fallen for the Amway scam.

It can’t have anything to do with those overpriced shitty Amway products or more ambots would still be buying them once they quit Scamway. Its amazing how when ambots quit all of a sudden that Amway snake oil they’ve been flogging is no longer, the wonder cure for all that ails you and they stop using and buying it.

I think falling for the Amway scam has got more to do with wanting to belong. The Amway cult is no different than any other cults. Love bombing is huge in all cults and that is part of the Amway cult. Show up to any Scamway meeting and the ambots are all over you hugging and showering with compliments. Phony fake ass bastards who don’t give a shit about you. Except how much money they can steal off you.

Is it the Amway cult leaders who are charismatic, pretend to relate with the cult followers, and says we love you, generally depicting themselves as likeable people. Then how easy is it to brainwash the ambots to do whatever they want. Like spend more money on the Amway tool scam.

The ambot gets swayed by the Amway cult leader, brainwashed to believe everything said in regards to Amway, all things perceived negative, bad things about family and friends, and the Amway cult leader’s opinion becomes the Ambot’s opinion.

These ambots could have been people who said they could never fall for a scam. But most people want to believe in something. In the case of the preachings of the Amway cult leaders its that in 2 to 5 years you’ll be RICH!!!! There will be gazillions of dollars in residual income rolling in from Amway every month, and you’ll be walking the beaches of the world with the other ambots who signed up the same time you did. You won’t be working a J.O.B. anymore but you’ll be laughing your asses off at the people who were “too stupid” to sign up for Amway at the same time cause they’d be joining you walking those beaches of the world. People want more out of life. They’d often like an easier lifestyle, a lifestyle of the rich and famous. The Amway cult leaders are out to scam you into thinking it’ll happen once you get onboard with the Amway pyramid scheme.

Months go past. Maybe even years for the ambots dumb enough to hang in there with the Amway cult believing they can’t quit now because success is just around the corner. The Amway cult leaders tell them that the riches at the end of the rainbow are worth waiting for. It’ll just take more time to get there. They’re persuaded by the Amway cult leaders to keep on being broke Amway losers – ironically all the while accusing everyone NOT in the Amway cult that they’re broke losers.

The Ambots believe the hyped up Amway cult leaders and the brainwashing that goes on at Amway functions and all the rah rah we’re all gonna be RICH!

Unfortunately these broke Amway losers chose the wrong path to find the opportunity they were looking for. They should have made a better decision based on the facts the small print on Amway literature – Amway has 99%+ failure rate – instead of the hype from the charismatic Amway cult leaders.

These Amway cult leaders are always on a constant search for their next victims and preach that to their followers – bring in more cult members. Seduce unfortunate suckers who are eager to get started in their own business for a couple hundred bucks. LOL. More like $500 to $700/month once all Amway related expenses are added up but the cult leaders conveniently forgot to mention all those hidden costs.

Don’t be a victim. Avoid failure. Avoid the Amway scam.

  1. Without continuous recruitment of new IBOs, Amway dies. Amway needs new IBOs the way Dracula needs blood.

The best thing we can do is keep on publishing the truth about Amway, and how it is a complex scheme to rip people off. As word gets out about how corrupt Amway is, fewer and fewer people will be roped into the scheme.

Already these anti-Amway blogs have essentially dried up the recruitment of new IBOs in North America. We have really fucked them over! If there were more anti-Amway blogs in Spanish, Chinese, and other languages, Amway would really be in deep shit.

    1. Anonymous - good one. Amway needs Ambots the way Dracula needs blood!

Yup by sharing our Amway horror stories online we can help others avoid making the same mistake. I can't tell you how many people I've had leave comments that they got suckered into Amway meetings, some even signed up there, and then got home and Googled it and found this blog and other blogs and immediately quit, and leave a comment thanking us for helping them avoid making a big mistake.

Amway sales have been declining by about 10% every year for the past few years. Attendance is declining at Amway cult meetings. And Amway is arrogant enough to think that people sharing their Amway horror stories online isn't a part of all that.

Yeah it would be good to see bloggers in other countries in other languages get the word out there about Scamway.

Let's just send out another big old FUCK YOU to Amway.

  2. The most disturbing thing to me about Amway and WWDB is the mix of "love" and money...like this may sound hokey but almost like it pollutes Love, the most potent power in the universe? I don't know if that came across clearly but its like how far is one willing to go, how many compliments are they willing to give, how many hugs and cuddles and kisses are motivated by cash and manipulation instead of pure love...of course love in itself is not a bad thing, and money isn't either (but of course it has become quite destructive in todays society) but its like the blending of love and money turns into the horrible muddied shit pie of pretence, fakery , flattery and lies which reduces pure emotional true states into mere mockery. Ha ha I hope I articulated that right.

    1. Hi Anonymous. I think we get it. And if you've been to any Amway meetings where an Ambot was getting a shit scolding from an Amway cult leader followed by "we still love you" then you know that Amway love is creepy love.

    2. Yep. I had a "almost shit scolding". But in my case at least I got the sense that the only factor keeping them in check from moving from quasi abusive, controlling territory to full abusive controlling territory was the chance that they could still make money off of me. I'm actually afraid to use my real first name because they might find my comment and associate it with me...not that I fear for my life or anything its just that I'm a private person who is still processing and coming to terms with things and I have the need to protect my inner space and boundaries (healthy boundaries do not exist in Amway/WWDB!!!!!)

    3. Anonymous - I can never figure out the abuse from upline. They want to scam money out of the people below them so why the shit scoldings? Other than that's a common cult tactic to be followed up by assuring their love. If I walked into a store and the owner bitched at me I'd say fuck you and leave. Spend my money somewhere else. And most people don't use their names because it's really fucking embarrassing to admit that you're in Amway or used to be in Amway.

  3. It's surprising how many people who are in the same family mining magnates in Australia are in the Amway business as sponsors.

I asked someone if I could sign up underneath them as things were never working out for me under my sponsors in 2006,they said no !!!!

I used to work in the coal industry & I found out a whole lot of that industry has that thing in it or something because they either tell me that I'm better off looking off for other work or the working environment was unsuitable for me.

No one ever tells me why & what the difference is ?

I certainly wasn't suited for the rail industry as that's got a lot of that Mr Tinkertrain sort that Ozzy Osbourne may talk about.

  4. I came in contact with Amway a looong time ago as a kid. My parents were introduced to Amway, later to MLM company called Diamond (I think??), distributing cleansing products. In my country (European country) Amway started operating sometime in the 80's I believe. My parents were wise enough not to join feeling that something was off. About 10 years ago in my twenties I was invited to a presentation for a network business called Webso which on the surface was ownership of your own web shop selling all kinds of products - food, tyres, but MOSTLY cosmetics, some meal replacements, etc. I purchased a starter package which was luckily for me only few flyers. And guess what? On the front page there was the cursed word "Amway". The guy trying to convince me was saying that Amway was just one of the companies included in this Webso thing and that soon some major petrol companies would be joining and "Imagine how much you could earn from getting commission from selling gasoline to people". The pitch was standard "You just graduated from a good college and you are looking for a job - you have my condolences" or "When I had a well paying job and I was driving ONLY an Audi I was a skeptic just as you are now".... However when I was asked to pay around 250$ of merchandise (Amway of course) which I was supposed to resell, I bailed.
I came also in contact with Herbalife - same pitch.
And, unbelievably, I was invited only a month ago to a presentation which was Amway. I could not believe that in a small country such as mine this F**** THING IS STILL AROUND!! It was the same f***** stupid pitch!! Some intimidation, how jobs and economy are shitty, how the only real investors are those who don't bother to lose few millions and that investing is a no go for an average person... while Amway is blooming and that all you have to do is do what you've been doing until now; buy things but not in supermarkets but from Amway and your satisfaction with the products will do the rest - you will become a walking commercial and products will basically sell themselves. Unbelievable!! I told them that I turned down Webso 10 years ago and they told me that Webso was not a good business, that it was giving a bad rep to Amway. And I found out that the guy behind the woman who was doing the presentation... was the same guy as 10 years ago!! But this time I was prepared because I am doing quite some research on Amway and other MLMs so I decided to have some fun. The responses were mindblowing. I said that 99% (at least) people failed nad the answer was, of course, that only losers deal with statistics. I could go on and on but you get the point already.
Anyway I want to warn as much people as possible and I congratulate Anna Banana for doing the same. Preach the word sister!

    1. Hi HackingFX - thanks for stopping by to share your story. This is a great show of how Amway Ambots pitch their scam. It’s all lies and deception to trick new prospects. Sounds like Webso is one of Amway’s cult sects operating overseas. They’re all evil. Thanks for sharing. I’m copying your comments and will put them up on a blog post down the road.

  5. From wikipedia, tells everything anyone should know about associating with scamway:

On November 3, 2010, Amway announced that it had agreed to pay $56 million—$34 million in cash and $22 million in products—to settle a class action that had been filed in Federal District Court in California in 2007.[9] The class action, which had been brought against Quixtar and several of its top-level distributors, alleged fraud, racketeering, and that the defendants operated as an illegal pyramid scheme.

Amway, while noting that the settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing or liability, acknowledged that it had made changes to its business operations as a result of the lawsuit. The settlement is subject to approval by the court, which was expected in early 2011.[9] The economic value of the settlement, including the changes Amway made to its business model, totals $100 million.[131]

    1. Hi Anonymous. It's been quite a few years but here's how it really went with that bullshit Amway settlement.

I don't know who got cash or how that was determined because I sure would have liked to get some of that! Instead what I got was a box from Amway sent COD! Like what the fuck!!! First off just when you think you're not going to see any more boxes of shit from Amway - one arrives! COD! I declined delivery. I believe that was probably Amway's strategy that former cult followers would refuse delivery and Amway would get their product back. Actually heard a lot of complaints around the time that happened. There's no way of knowing what's inside the box of Amway shit. Expired Nutrilite vitamins maybe?

      Show me the cash assholes!

What else do you expect from those cheap asses at ScAmway. Trying to fuck people over one more time with a COD box of shit!

  6. You know, Anna, the fact that Amway sent (C.O.D.) those boxes of stuff shows what a two-bit, rinky-dink, cheap-ass business Amway is. They HAVE NO CLASS. They HAVE NO DECENCY OR DIGNITY. They try to WEASEL OUT OF THEIR DEBTS.

I knew this almost immediately back in 1970, when my cousin took me to Amway meetings. The entire atmosphere, not to mention the people present, was what we call "chintzy" or "shlock" in New York. These words mean "cheap, shoddy, low-class, petty, and third-rate."

I didn't want to be at these meetings, because I felt demeaned by them. I thought "Everything here is done on the cheap, as if you were in the bargain basement of some ghetto K-Mart."

And frankly, that is the entire culture and mindset of Amway, from top to bottom. Even the wealthy Diamonds and other big pins have no real class. And the company itself tries to nickel-and-dime you with those C.O.D. packages. What a bunch of small-town chiselers.

    1. Anonymous - the way Amway handled this just shows what big scammers they are and as you noted try to weasel out of their debts. Why couldn't everyone get a monetary refund? And who decided who got money and who got products? Amway. The cash probably went to top performing Amway cult leaders with some bullshit about it being a bonus. Amway is a scam outfit sending out "refunds" in the form of free products in such a way that the recipient would still have to pay money to receive the product. ScAmway was counting on a lot of people refusing to accept delivery so they could get their shit back to resell to Ambots. Kind of ingenious and lets us see inside the mind of the Amway scammer who thought that one up!

I knew immediately upon attending Amway meetings that it was really fucking creepy. And a scam. You can draw numbers in circles or on a pyramid of how much you can potentially earn if you find 6 people and they find 6 people and so on. It looks good on paper but what's the odds that it can be executed in real life. And then the whole Amway is a cult thing on top of being a scam. Amway is fucking creepy and scammy on so many levels.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
