Amway Is All About Checks Payable To Cash

Whenever we attended an Amway meeting held in an auditorium where a Diamond or an Emerald was speaking we had to cough up ten bucks apiece. A mere price to pay for the knowledge and wisdom we were going to learn from them. LOL!

Yeah right. Rip off! Rip off!

Someone left a comment that the price is now $15 but price tag doesn't really matter other than Ambots getting ripped off another $5 for a bunch of useless bullshit Amway Amspeak propaganda. In Amway its all about the bastards at the top of the pyramid ripping off everyone clinging to the bottom.

Usually shithead Platinums were in charge of selling tickets at the door and they’d want checks payable to Cash. You’d also have to write in the name of your Platinum in the memo line in case the check bounced the Diamond would know whose ass to ride for the infraction.

Probably not too many people know that checks payable to cash are not always accepted by financial institutions. Checks are supposed to be made payable to the person whose name is on the account its being deposited into. I worked in the Bank of America many years ago for about 3 months thanks to my cousin’s husband who was a manager. Until a better job came along and I quit and he was pissed but who cares they divorced a couple years later. It was the policy years ago and according to someone who still works there she confirms checks payable to cash are not always accepted. These days they're rejected if they go through the automatic banking machine and a sharp eyed teller opening the envelopes catches it. Better chance if the person goes inside to a teller and explains why they have a check payable to cash drawn on someone else’s bank account. This is because anyone who gets their hands on a check payable to cash can cash it because its not payable to an actual person. Checks payable to cash can be legitimate and simply a case of the check writer being unaware they shouldn’t be doing this in case the check gets stolen or goes missing. The reason checks payable to cash may be rejected is due to the suspicion of possible fraudulent activity.

Hmm. Checks payable to cash. Possibility of fraud. Amway. Kind of all fits why the cult leaders want checks payable to cash. Who declares “cash” when filing their taxes? No Amway cult leaders that's for sure.

That aside, even though its a legitimate reason for a bank to refuse to accept the check it can be hit or miss if a check payable to cash is accepted by the teller.

The cult leaders want checks payable to cash because multiple people may be splitting the proceeds. At least two people receive these checks.

First off the school needs to be paid for the rental of the auditorium so someone probably an Emerald or Platinum takes care of that. The rest of the checks are handed over to the Diamond speaker as payment for showing up to bestow wisdom on the masses. Or if the Diamond is smart enough has someone else run those checks payable to cash through their bank and hands the cash over directly to the Diamond who sticks it in his pocket. That way there's no paper trail leading back to the Diamond and Uncle Sam ain't catching on. Though an Ambot somewhere is getting stuck with a record of a deposit going through their account. Fistfuls of checks payable to cash for $10 each. Could be buying joints for all an audit would show.

There was a local hotel booked for meetings where the upline Emerald spoke. Ambot found out that one of the IBO’s relatives managed this hotel and they’d get the meeting room for free. The $10 checks payable to cash would them be handed directly to the Emerald to deposit into his account. The last meeting I attended in this hotel there had to be over one hundred people there. Very few were guests in attendance who got in for free.

That’s a quick $1000 the Emerald just earned for showing up to brainwash the cult followers for a couple of hours.

  1. Very few banks will now accept a check made out to "Cash." The risk of deceit or fraud or criminal activity is just too great.

In the case of Amway, the practice is encouraged to cover up the identity of the person who eventually will get the money. It might be the man who first collects the check from the IBO, or it might be someone higher up on the up-line food chain. In either case, tax liability is clouded, and the check need not be reported as income to the IRS.

Of course the real way to hide income is to make all transactions in cash itself. The money transfer is utterly untraceable then. But this also means that there is no record for the IBO of money spent, and therefore he will have no proof of being cheated by Amway.

Anyone thinking of joining Amway (or its disguised subsystems like WWDB or BWW or Network 21 or any of the others) needs to know that it is deeply dishonest and corrupt. Anybody who asks you for a check made out to "Cash" is trying to hide something.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Fraud. Deceit. Criminal activity. Amway. They all go hand in hand.

As for why the Amway cult leaders don’t want cash though they will take it is because they tell the Ambots the cancelled check can be used for a tax deduction. You know how everything in Amway is a tax deduction according to the cult leaders. Uncle Sam might disagree.

  2. I have not posted here in a while. Just re-read some of the older posts and, speaking as someone who escaped Ambotia having lost slightly over $1,000, it boggles my mind that people still sign up for this garbage, pay out continual money, sell products that are over-priced and low quality, and still will not see the real world.

I tried hard to make it work. Ironically a friend of mine, also hubby’s friend, who called me insane for selling “garbage,” is now himself an Ambot, along with his wife.

They tried for a long time to recruit us, refusing to take our refusals seriously. She very primly folded her hands in her lap and announced “I now own my own business.” My husband and I exchanged glances and I tried not to laugh out loud quite yet.

She gave us the same old spiel, never mentioning the “A” word. I had to stop the sermon but before I could, HE began telling us how awful our toothpaste was, that we were tired because we didn’t use an energy product, and she chimed in telling me that I needed a “special” skin crea,.

At that point I said I knew what it was, and not only were they wasting my time and theirs, but they had pooh-poohed my initial recruiting try.

Haven’t heard from them since. They recruited one poor fool who has no way to do anything as he has a part-time job. Last I heard, they were spending over $1500/month just to stay involved.

Wifey was telling me how great Artistry is. I do my homework and know that companies who sell high-end cosmetics, own drugstore brands, like LancĂ´me is made by L’Oreal. Big diff in price.

I was continually pressured by my upline sponsors when I was an Ambot. Oh, it was called Quixtar then. This couple knew what we lost then, but their reasoning is “that was Quixtar, this isn’t.”

    Unreal.

    1. Hi Rita. Thanks for stopping by with your story. You're really lucky you only lost $1000 in Scamway. Most people lose at least $10,000/year if they're CORE.

I see Ambots are still insulting the better quality products people use instead of overpaying for Amway's substandard items.

Ambots still aren't saying the A word. Amway is all about lies, fraud, scamming, and doing whatever to make a buck.

Sitting there primly? All Amway Ambots are prudes. And they have the snotty snobby Amway Ambot attitude that they're better than everyone else because they're in the Amway cult and they're "business owners".

Just goes to show what brainwashing does to these Amway losers.

Quixtar Amway all the same thing. Amway changed their name to Quixtar to get away from Amway's bad name but it didn't work so they went back to Amway. The name change may have had something to do with legal issues and tax problems. I've heard several versions. Either name it's the same lies and scams.

Good for you to get out. And good for you to get rid of those Ambots. Next time they ask what your dream is say its to produce and star in porno flicks and hit them up to invest in it. Those prudes will stay away for sure!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
