Who Sells The Shittiest Towels? – Amway!

The worst towels I have ever used came from Amway. This was a few years back. I have no idea if Amway still sells shitty towels. I can’t remember what colors Ambot purchased. I definitely remember red. I think the other set was a different color, maybe blue or green.

The first time I used the towels all the little red fluff came off all over my body. YUCK! So I toss them in the washer and dryer hoping that a cycle will get rid of the fluffies. I know from past experience that sometimes a washing or two is necessary to get the lint off.

No such luck. For the next month I washed and dried those suckers multiple times following each use because everytime I used them I was grossed out by all the towel fluff left on my body. Talk about low quality at a premium price! Not to mention how irritating it is to dry myself off and have towel parts stuck all over me. Absolutely disgusting.

After a month I told Ambot I refused to use those shitty towels anymore. I went to the department store and bought Ralph Loren Polo towels. They were lower priced and better quality than the Amway towels. The best thing? No more shedding!

The second best thing is those higher quality RL towels lasted for years. They’d still be going strong except I decided I needed a change and headed to JC Penney to buy some nice plush Egyptian towels. If anyone is looking for good quality reasonably priced fluffy luxurious towels, they’re from the Chris Madden Home Collection at JC Penney. (Edited to add since this post first appeared on the blog I’m really fucking pissed off at JC Penney for not carrying this brand anymore the last time I needed to refresh the towels.)

Getting back to the fluff magnets, Ambot was able to return the towels with the complaint that they shed worse than our dog. I guess our sack of shit Platinum and other fucking assholes in our Amway upline lost some points on that refund too! Upline losing bonus points because of me is, well, always a bonus!

  1. Amazing blog you have here! Lol it cracks me up. I have my own little amway story for you from when I was in the cult: I was in amway last year dragged in by a co-worker with the idea of making millions and retiring within 2-5. I soon realized Amway truly is a cult. My upline would encourage us to cut out our own family and friends if they talked against amway. They called themselves our family and the only family we need. The constantly badgered me to drag my girlfriend into the cult and it eventually got to a point where they were telling me shes a non believer and that I should consider dating someone within the amway cult. Everyone would worship our upline leader and if anybody decided to say anything controversial about him to anyone inside the cult, the word would get to the leader and he would have a personal one on one talk with you. I remember one time I was talking privately to this guy at one of my first amway events (I was just asking him basic questions, trying to figure out what this is about) and my upline approached me after and asked me what we were talking about. And they continued by telling me to be careful what I say to other people and if they find out I am talking bad about Amway or anyone within amway there will be consequences (I dont know why this didnt make me run as far away as I could after this incident, I think the idea of riches and retirement was more important to me). Also our cult leader would hug people at the meetings and tell them "I love you". He would call all the men within the cult "brother". He was manipulative and he used weak people to gain their love and trust. After meetings this bastard would bring everyone outside and show off his brand new care he "paid with cash". He would literally make people sit inside of it just to experience what "they will have one day if they stick to the plan". He would exploit certain peoples childhoods and weakness to bring them crawling to his feet. I swear he would tell people this story about how one time he sat through and entire amway event with a burst appendix because it was more important to him that he received this information than to go to the hospital. What a joke! I feel like such an idiot for falling for this disgusting cult. Sometimes I cant even believe I fell for it. They are using a very effective form of brainwashing amongst these people. Its scary to even recall this type of stuff. It is a true cult and there is absolutely no arguing that. I fully 100% believe with all my heart that this is the wrong path to go down. Amway is not a legitimate business opportunity, it is a shitty recruiting job that ends up with you loosing family, friends, and having people laugh in your face when you try and "drop the message" to them. Very scary stuff. I hope all these brainwashed ambots will realize one day they are wasting their time and money.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Wow! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your story. And here's the thing. It's the same story I know and we all know. Everyone has the same experience, just the details might change a bit.

Brainwashed Ambots don't realize they're in a cult. Good cult leaders brainwash you to think you're thinking for yourself.

But look at all the stuff going on that's a normal Amway experience. The Amway cult leaders separate you from your friends and family. The Amway cult leaders want to destroy your relationship with your husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend and encourage the Ambot to get in a relationship with a more devoted Amway cult follower. "Pay for everything in cash." Common Ambot theme but Ambots can't explain how Diamonds who "pay for everything in cash" are going through bankruptcy and foreclosure. That tells the rest of the free-thinking world that a loan and money must have been borrowed for those extremes to happen. Oh yes the old story of having a serious ailment or in the case of a woman going through labor pains and still attending an Amway meeting so they won't miss "very important information".

And don't feel bad, everyone feels like an idiot when they realized they got scammed.

If you haven't already done so, download a free ebook called Merchants of Deception. You'll find a link on the right side of this page under more info about Amway. This is a true horror story of being inside the evil Amway cult. An Emerald with 1000 people downline is only making about $2 to $3,000/month way less than the promised compensation.

The experiences in that book might have happened in the 90s but it was like I could have been in the room because everything described was so familiar to me. I saw and heard the same things. Except for the stuff about the Amway tool scam. Those on the bottom of the pyramid don't learn about that in the Amway cult meetings we attend.

But good on you for seeing the light and getting the hell away from the Amway cult and their army of evil broke loser Ambots.

  2. There was a big Amway function here in town last weekend(Louisville KY) and damn it clogged up traffic everywhere and took up all the hotels. Thousands of Amway bots everywhere. I met a few at a hotel bar and they were talking about how they "own and operate their own business" and how they were so excited to hear "dozens of millionaires speak". I didn't want to rain on their parade but I tried to subvertly steer the conversation to how big of a scam it is. I brought up my parents past screwing in Amway in the 90s and how the tool scam operated. They were adamant that its not the same and that they cleaned up their act. Yeah right.

    1. Hi Anonymous. LOL that there were that many Ambots going to an Amway cult function that they clogged up traffic! I say LOL because attendance at Amway cult meetings is down and so are Amway's sales.

These Amway losers have no concept of what it's like to own and operate a real business.

Amway is just a pretend business. IBO's are just commissioned sales reps.

No real business advice is ever given at Amway meetings. Just buy more Amway shit and sign up others who'll do it too.

Dozens of millionaires speak? LOL! Maybe if they were at a Facebook, Amazon or Microsoft event! LOL! The dozens of Ambots speaking at Amway brainwashing conferences are usually Platinums who are allotted like 10 minutes to bullshit the losers in the audience. They're all millionaires now? LOL! Even Amway's brochures say that Diamonds make around $150,000/year. There are better scams out there where people make more money. Anyone in any industry who earns 150k that's decent money but it's a far cry from being a millionaire unless you invest your money wisely. And "investing" in Scamway wouldn't be wise.

Anytime you talk with an Ambot and say you used to be in Amway or you know someone who used to be and they didn't make money or they got scammed, the Ambots will claim that Amway is a lot different now.

Heard that bullshit 10 years ago. One of our readers was in Amway in the 70s and said the same bullshit and lies back then are still told today,

So you got it right when you say - Yeah right!

  3. When I was in the cult, there were talks about how a new prospect(crossline to me) was shown the plan and was "excited" about the business. Now, this man had just lost his job and had a family to take care of. The cult leaders had apparently told him that he didn't need his job and that amway would provide him financial security. The cult leader who had prospected this man was beaming with pride over how amway helps people in need and gets them out of financial instability, and how amway is such a blessing in their lives.

I now realize how dangerous amway is. These bastards are cruel.

    1. Anonymous - Ambots prey on those who can least afford to lose money by promising them stuff they want to hear - they'll get out of debt and in 2 to 5 years bazillions of dollars in residual income will be flowing in every month from Amway.

The most evil vicious lying scamming bastards I've ever met in my life have all been in the Amway cult.

    2. This 2-5 years thing is a joke. Most of my former uplines have been in amway for the better part of a decade, and are no where close to freedom. Many have quit.
My former founders emerald upline who had "retired" his J.O.B has come down to platinum. Only a matter of time before he has to start looking for a job. Lol.

    3. Agreed. But it's spouted off at every Amway meeting.

"Work 10 to 15 hours a week part time in your free time for the next 2 to 5 years and you'll be a bazillionaire."

There might be Ambots who can reach a level of significance in Amway but staying there is hard because of the high drop out rate in the downline. Amway is a precarious pyramid to perch on.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
