Thanks to ExAmbot who shares
his memories of Amway FED Free Enterprise Days.
HA HA i remember all this stuff. Let me confirm that for the "serious
business builder" you not only arrived there early (say 4 - 6 am) you
actually found some ambots who beat you there, how? they slept on the line
after last night's function! and BTW they have paid for an expensive hotel
room!
Woe unto a new ambot. FED was put on with much grandeur and pomposity (as you
would say). the diamonds on stage would keep promoting saturday night, it will
be a life changing event (that's when new diamonds are paraded on stage). how
it will be a mirror of where ambots will be in 5 years. on the floor before,
during and after the friday show the lying to the new ambots continue. they
would be told things like "this is your first function, waoh i envy you! i
had to wait for close to a year before i could come to an FED! you are in for
quite a treat! and for "older" ambots whose FED is their first
function they would be told FED does not compare to any other function they
have been to before that. don't forget all this promotion usually starts as
soon as the last major function ends. so a poor ambot would have been hearing
about the function for so long it's been worked into their brain real good
(cultic brainwashing of course).
Every day had it's way of being promoted. saturday morning was the preparation
for the night event, etc. and then saturday night. you are told to imagine
yourself on that stage in 2-5 years. oh la di da! and you will never worry
about money in your life ever again, what with all the residual income coming
your way.
The funniest part now looking back was when there was no new diamonds as it
happened a couple of times with BWW. but leave it to cult leaders to use words
on ambots and still put on a cultic show!
Anywho sunday morning almost everyone was all pious and attends the service.
it's sold as i came to a business meeting but my life changed and i found
christ, my marriage was saved, it's a business but it's even more than that, it's
a way of life (now looking back isnt that cult admission?), etc etc.
Then there's still the afternoon session. this is where now everything will be
tied together, amongst other crap. in reality this is the first time anything
is taught about building the business - last day, last session. Prior to this
the focus is emotional. in fact from stage on friday and saturday, they talk
about having an emotional reason to build it. that the technics are important
but not as the reason to build it and that it takes a short time to cover the
technics and that's done on sunday but ambots first need to focus on their
emotional reason. cult leaders talk about saturday night is when they "saw
it and the business went from head to heart." it was it sounds noble and
all innocent. but it's classic cult preying on emotion! once they got an ambot
emotionally they got one don't they.
The back drop of all this is that somebody has raked in big bucks. a diamond
collects $60 for every ticket sold in his/her pyramid, as well as from the
hotel rooms. to me that's what FED and any other function is all about. a way
to continue provide income to diamonds by hooking in new ambots and and getting
the rest to continue staying in for as long as is possible.
My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

ExAmbot Remembers FED Amway Free Enterprise Days
4 comments:
Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
My boyfriend keeps harassing his friends to join amway and it's so embarrassing for me! He even keeps asking me to give him contact info for my network so he can sell them gummies, "vitamins", whatever else he can get them to buy. He also spends all his money on tickets and profits to boost his "PV".
ReplyDeleteEven his mannerisms have changed. I feel like I'm dating a whole different person! We've been dating for so long I'm hesitant at what to do (I don't want to leave him) but at the same time, he's barely the same person I knew before.
Hopefully once he sees the money isn't coming in as fast as he thought he'll consider leaving.
Hi Rose. Thanks for stopping by. Sorry to hear about your boyfriend. Amway takes nice people and turns them into nasty, evil, vicious, condescending sneering bastards who turn up that attitude on outsiders who don't worship the Great Amway God. This is exactly what happened to me and just about every other woman out there married to an Ambot or in a committed relationship with an Ambot. The Amway cult turns their followers into people we don't recognize anymore. And yes its really fucking embarrassing watching the Ambot beg and plead with everyone to join the Amway cult or buy overpriced shitty Amway products so they can make a few pennies commission.
DeleteOnly you can figure out what's the right thing for you to do in your situation. Most women try to wait out the Ambot. After 3 or 4 months most Ambots figure out they got scammed. They're not making money and the only chance they have to make a few pennies is by scamming others to join the Amway cult. 95% of participants quit Amway within 2 years so the odds are on your side. The bigger issue is how long you'll put up with this Amway bullshit. Right now there is nothing more important to your boyfriend than everything Amway. And he gets angry with everyone who has a different opinion than his Amway cult leader.
Here's the other thing. The fucking assholes in his Amway upline are working hard on him right now to break up your relationship. Nothing brings those Amway fuckers more happiness than destroying other people's lives. Like all cults, Amway wants to separate their followers from anyone that can reason with the Ambot and show them they got scammed. In other words shut off the money flow up the pyramid.
If you haven't already done so, download a free ebook called Merchants of Deception. There's a link on the right side of this page under more info about Amway. It's written by a former Emerald and gives you a really good picture of the Amway cult and how only a fraction of 1% of all participants make money. The author had about 1000 people in his downline and was only making around $3,000 a month. Much less money than the promised income. Does your boyfriend know 1000 people who are willing to sign up to ScAmway and buy at least $300 worth of shitty Amway products every month - forever. If not he's got no chance in hell.
Right now there's nothing more important to your Ambot boyfriend than the Amway cult leaders and everything Amway. A box of Amway soap is more important to him than you are. I'm sure you can find a better boyfriend who will treat you with more respect than soap if that's the way you're leaning. So good luck with whatever you decide!
Dear Rose --
ReplyDeleteYou have to face this fact: Amway is a vicious mind-control cult. Once it gets its hooks into someone it drags them into total obedience and enslavement, followed by financial ruin. It is no different from other sick cults like Scientology or The People's Temple.
Yes, it is true that many Amway IBOs leave after a few months, or maybe a year, after they realize that they aren't making any money. The fact that your boyfriend is trying to earn PV by selling gummies and vitamin pills to strangers only shows that he still doesn't understand that Amway is NOT based on retailing goods, but on developing a down-line of IBOs underneath you.
If he's smart he'll find this out soon enough. But what is really dangerous is the change in his attitude and personality. This happens over and over again with new recruits into the Amway racket, and it has been proven by hundreds of comments and anecdotes posted here at "Married to an Ambot." When you are infected with the Amway insanity, you become a nasty, sneering, insulting, money-fixated creep who thinks of nothing but how to climb the Amway ladder. And all persons in your life are then divided into two groups: those who support your Amway aspirations (good people), and those who question or criticize your Amway aspirations (bad people).
And be very careful. Right now, if past testimony and evidence from hundreds of ex-IBOs is true, your boyfriend's up-line is working like mad to have him break off his relationship with you. They are trying to convince him that his failure to make progress in the business is directly caused by your lack of interest and enthusiasm in what he's doing. They are calling you a "Dream-Stealer" or worse.
Anonymous - thanks for helping out Rose. It would be nice if she comes back and lets us know how it's going...
DeleteMostly the fucking Amway assholes called me a negative unchristian dreamstealer. Both here and in person. Like I really care what a bunch of Amway losers think about me LOL! But yes if someone's "dream" involves scamming other people to make a few pennies then I'm all about stealing that dumb ass dream!
