It's practically impossible for IBOs in North America to "close the deal" on recruitment anymore.
ReplyDeleteThere is just too much on-line publicity and information about the Amway racket, and about the evils of all MLM schemes.
The days of accosting strangers at Barnes and Noble, or calling up you distant cousin, or drawing little circles on napkins in Starbucks, are over. And on-line recruitment doesn't work either, because if your prospects all have computers and internet, they also have access to reams of solid critiques of the Amway absurdity.
Anonymous - that's why at every Amway cult meeting the leader tells the audience not to look up Amway on the Internet. LOL! They don't want any recruits to read about how Amway is a pyramid scheme and the obnoxious behavior of Ambots and upline abuse. Someone left a comment that he'd been prospected and was sitting in an Amway meeting at that very minute and the cult leader specifically told the audience not to look at Marriedtoanambot so of course he looked it up and began reading. And thanked us for steering him clear of ScAmway! Yeah telling someone not to do something is almost like an engraved invitation to do that. A legitimate company has no problem with potential clients looking them up online and doing their research. A pyramid scheme or any scam outfit goes into panic mode if someone checks them out. We used to get tons of Amway losers showing up here screeching at us to do our research. Something that is forbidden to do by Amway cult leaders. Like our personal real life experiences with using Amway products and getting abused by fucking assholes in the Amway upline doesn't count as research. At least not to brainwashed Amway losers.

DeleteAnonymous - you can bet Amway put the screws to all their cult sects and said control the vicious evil motherfuckers in your downline who are going all over the Internet making assholes out of themselves and assholes out of Amway. I haven't seen what Amway's current code of conduct or IBO agreement looks like but there used to be a section saying not to get involved in arguments with people who have opposing viewpoints when it comes to Amway. But who knows. If Amway fired every IBO who broke one of the terms in their code of conduct they'd have nobody left.
