Amway Ambots Hate Their Jobs and Teach Others to do the Same

One of the things I heard at Amway meetings was how simple the business was. All you had to do was eat one Amway food bar and one Amway beverage daily and teach others to do the same thing.

Well not that simple because nobody likes to eat nasty tasty shitty products that are priced through the roof. Unless they’re an ambot brainwashed to believe that they actually taste good and are good for you. Hell. Caramel coated cardboard tastes better than Amway food bars!

Amway is all about teaching others to do the same thing you’re doing. Usually referred to as duplicating your upline.

At every Scamway meeting the sack of shit Platinum would sneer at people who had jobs. J.O.B. Just Over Broke. People who were employed by others and held jobs were held in lowest contempt because they weren’t big and important business owners like Amway (pretend) business owners.

According to the sack of shit Platinum after people had been in Amway for a couple of years they could quit their job and sit back on their asses and watch the big bucks coming rolling in every month in residual income.

Freedom! Something that none of those poor fuckers who held jobs would ever know about.

Or the Platinum either because after 15 years or so he still works a much hated job. He hates his job so he is all about teaching others to hate their jobs too.

The Platinum cult leader would roll the noses of the followers into the big shithole known as a job. Making a living working for someone else and getting paid for it. And on and on it would go. How jobs are horrible evil things that only lowly bastards have. People with jobs have to set their alarm clock and get up every day and take orders from someone else. And then when they turn 65 they automatically either die or are broke.

And what about the people in the room who ran their own business. Ambot was usually the only one but there were a couple of other guys in crossline who might be at some of the Amway cult meetings we attended. It must have pissed off the sack of shit Platinum to no end when he asked how many in the room earned 75 or 100k the fictional amount you can make in Amway at Platinum or Emerald level and the people who already owned their own businesses were the only takers. So now the sack of shit Amway Platinum must poison the minds of the business owners and mock them for their choice of business and how hard they work and blah blah blah Amway brainwashing bullshit.

The Platinum sneers at them how they could be so stupid to own another kind of business when the best business for anyone to own is Amway. Well OK maybe for the people who actually own the Amway company thats a good business to own but not for the commissioned salespeople Amway hires and barely pays to flog their overpriced shitty products with a phony ass title of Independent Business Owner.

When we were in Amway a lot of people who attended cult meetings were unemployed. Other IBO’s became unemployed during the time we were inside this hellhole cult.

They’d been brainwashed to hate their jobs, hate their bosses, and hate their coworkers. A person who shows up at work everyday hating everything about it is not pleasant to deal with. Ambots sneer at everyone in the workplace because they’re a bunch of dumb fucker employees and don’t own their own business. Well neither does the Amway asshole! Amway IBO is a pretend business where they earn a measly $10 commission if they buy $300 worth of Amway products every month buying from their own store. Most jobs employees earn $10/hour and they probably don’t have to buy anything to earn that $10!

Because ambots are brainwashed to become insufferable Amway assholes and they bring their shitty attitude to the workplace they don’t stick around too long. They either quit because they don’t want to keep working with these losers who won’t support their business or the boss gives them the old heave ho.

What about when the ambots descend on a prospect who has a job. They’ll ask the person if they like their job. Some people like their job others don’t. Hit or miss. I’d say the people who don’t like their job are probably looking for another one and maybe they are open to going to a Scamway meeting to hear more about this once in a lifetime opportunity bullshit. Others will stand their ground and say they like their job. The ambot will sneer at them incredulous that someone could actually like their job. And then because Amway ambots are dumb fucks they’ll probably make some dumb ass comment like would you still work your job if you didn’t get paid for it. Uh what do you think you dumb ass ambot. If I don’t get paid I am like fuck you I am outta here! Most people do not stick around at a job no matter how much they like it if they don’t get paid. Not to mention thats a violation of employment laws pretty much everywhere!

Just because Amway ambots are brainwashed to hate their jobs doesn’t mean everyone else shares their shitty attitude.

Do You Agree?

When I attended Amway meetings our sack of shit Platinum used to play this dumb ass game that I call “do you agree”.

Its all part of the subtle brainwashing techniques that are used in the Amway cult.

He’d start off by saying things to get the group to agree with him, things that would be hard to disagree with like does everyone agree that there is a painting on the wall of a lighthouse. Does everyone agree that Washington DC is our nations capital. That sort of thing.

Now that the Platinum has the group agreeing as one on what he is saying is true he moves on to other points that people may or may not agree with but due to peer pressure and the cult setting you don’t dare disagree with what everyone else in the room is nodding their heads to.

Does everyone agree that its stupid to have a job where you make the boss rich.

Does everyone wish that their boss paid them more money.

Does everyone wish their boss gives them more time off work and still pays them.

Does everyone agree that its better to be a business owner than an employee.

Does everyone agree that if you own your own shop that its smarter to do all your shopping from your own store instead of shopping at someone else’s store and making that other business owner richer.

I can argue all those points though I’d probably look like a moron if I argued that the lighthouse painting looks more to me like a bunch of dogs playing poker or that New York City is the capital.

Is it stupid to have a job? No not when theres bills to be paid. Who says the boss is getting rich. Maybe he’s just covering all his business and personal expenses and has nothing left over for retirement savings. Not all businesses are high earners and make the owner rich. The real point here is that the Platinum is putting the seed into the Amway cult followers head that having a job is stupid.

As for more money and time off work we’d all like that. Most people think they’re worth more than what they’re being paid. Many times business owners don’t take time off work for vacations especially if they’re a one man show. Didn’t think of that did you you sack of shit Platinum! Those questions don’t do much other than get the Amway cult follower to start disliking their job and their boss because they don’t get enough salary and vacation.

Does everyone want to be a business owner instead of an employee? Not necessarily. Not everyone has the finances, brain power, leadership, drive, interest, physical or mental ability to be a business owner. Not everyones got what it takes. Doesn’t mean they’re any less of a human being. Though that’s how the Amway cult leaders want to make their ambots feel that they’re low life bastards if they’re employees instead of business owners.

As for buying from your own shop, if your prices are too high then you’d be a fucking moron to buy from your own shop if you can get better quality and better prices from a competitor. The sack of shit Platinum wants the ambots to understand that they better do all their own shopping from Amway. They better not sneak off to the drugstore and buy toothpaste.

If you’re a brainwashed ambot and agree with the sack of shit Platinum on simple points that just makes it easier for him when the more intense brainwashing into the Amway cult gets underway.

Facebook and Amway

Seeing as how Facebook stock is released for trading today I thought I would bring it up and how I remembered or don’t remember Facebook being talked about at Amway meetings.

I remember at Amway cult meetings our sack of shit Platinum would talk about Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. I’m a little foggy on what the Amway asshole was spouting off on because he often went off on rants for an hour or so getting distracted constantly and heading off on a new rant as something else to bitch about crossed his mind.

Facebook started trading on the stock market today May 18 2012 at $38 except it shot up to an opening of $42. It hit a high of $45 before settling in around the $40 mark. If its typical of most stocks opening day will hit a high and then it will go down so often its a good idea to wait a few weeks or months before buying.

When Facebook first started many employees were offered stock options so today many of Facebook’s staff are now worth tens of millions of dollars. Many of them are in their twenties. Many of them will walk away and never work again for the rest of their lives.

A concept that is pretty much foreign when it comes to Amway. The only people who don’t have to work for the rest of their lives and have millions of dollars rolling in would be the heirs of the founders.

Ambots go around bragging that Amway made $11 billion in sales last year. I’ve had brainwashed ambots leave those comments on my blog. That’s great for the owners of the company but not so much for employees. Well unless any employees are given profit sharing options. I doubt it because I’ve had employees show up here to say that Amway gives them fuck all in benefits.

Take that 11 billion in sales. That’s not profit. That’s sales. Now comes overhead - cost of production, cost of maintaining Amway buildings, payroll, taxes, etc. I’m not sure how much is leftover after all financial obligations are met for profit for the Amway owners. Maybe a billion or so? The owners ain’t splitting their profit with the lowly employees/IBOs. They’re donating to charity so they can take less of a hit on their personal income taxes and they are living in mansions and jet setting around the world. The heirs are not showing up at Amway functions flogging their wares.

The majority of IBO’s get a commission check of around $10/month from Amway if they bought the required quota of 100PV about $300 worth of Amway products that month. That’s how Amway makes that $11 billion in sales. An army of brainwashed ambots who will keep buying these overpriced products until they get tired of losing money and quit. Its bad enough losing all that money buying Amway products when the same products can be purchased at grocery and drug stores for less, therefore saving money. I might not be getting a $10 commission check from Walmart but if I spend $75 buying the same products that it costs me $300 to buy from Amway then I’m coming out ahead. Especially since I’m buying better quality products from Walmart. I mean nothing pisses me off more than spending 3 to 4 times more money for Amway’s shitty dishwasher soap that doesn’t get my dishes clean when I can buy a better product at Walmart for a fraction of the price and I don’t have to wash dishes a second time around by hand.

I would say Facebook has probably created a lot more millionaires than Amway when it comes to people in their 20’s who can now retire and never work again.

I would say that Facebook doesn’t get called a scam or a pyramid scheme nowhere near as much as Amway does.

I would say that Facebook created a lot more people than Amway who were able to work for two to five years and then walk away and retire on their riches or have residual income rolling in for the rest of their lives.

I’d say Facebook doesn’t get accused of brainwashing and using mind control techniques as much as Amway does.

I’d say Facebook doesn’t get accused of followers losing tons of money the way Amway does. At least not yet! Who knows what the stock market will do!

I’d say Facebook doesn’t get accused of destroying marriages and causing as many divorces as Amway does.

I’d say Facebook doesn’t get accused of causing as much emotional distress as Amway does.

I’d say Facebook doesn’t get accused of ripping people off like Amway does.

So just what did our sack of shit Platinum say about Facebook? Its starting to come back to me now! Mostly he bitched about this 22 year old founder who is worth billions of dollars. The fucker was probably jealous! The typical WWDB doctrine of destroying what other people have because nothing makes those World Wide Destructive Bastards happier than when they’re destroying other people’s relationships and finances.

Mostly the sack of shit Platinum talked about using Facebook to snipe prospects into Amway. Not a good idea because Facebook will suspend your account if you’re spamming recruits.

It costs $300/month minimum to invest in “your own” Amway business. For that you get back a $10 commission check. Take that same $300 and buy 7 shares of Facebook stock. Or if you’re a CORE ambot you spend closer to $700/month investing in “your business” and you can take that $700 and buy 17 shares of Facebook stock. Even if Facebook drops in half overnight and you sell, you still make more money than that $10 you get back from Amway! And you probably have a whole lot more fun losing that money than you do losing even more money in Amway! Because when you’re losing money in Amway you still have to put up with being abused from the assholes in your Amway upline. At least when you lose money in Facebook nobody is abusing you and calling you a loser quitter negative unchristian dreamstealer when you decide to quit and sell your shares.

I know I’d rather go around bragging that I own shares in Facebook stock than bragging that I’m an Amway “business owner”. One of them gains respect in the eyes of the person you told that too. The other sinks you a few notches down the old shithole that you’re a dumb ass for putting your money into a pyramid scheme.

Amway Ambots are Experts at ??????

Another thing that really pissed me of about the Amway ambots I had to put up with was that every single one of those bastards was an expert on EVERYTHING! You name it those fuckers knew everything about the subject whether or not it had anything to do with Amway. The biggest bunch of bullshitters I’ve ever met in my life have all been Amway assholes.

The arrogance of those pompous Amway bastards is something I have never dealt with before our time in the Amway hellhole. Fortunately it is something I’ve never had to put up with since we got the hell away from those Amway assholes!

You name it those ambot assholes pretend they’re an expert at it. I guess the fact that they run pretend businesses and they’re pretend business owners gives them all the credibility they need to be pretend experts on every subject under the sun.

I’m not saying that there are not ambots out there who don’t have expertise in certain areas through job, education, or life experiences. What I’m calling out are the Amway assholes who just be virtue of the fact that they are Amway IBO’s means that now makes them know it alls.

Those ambots are all experts when it comes to cars. Too bad none of them take their own fucking advice and drive around in shitmobiles that are 20 or 30 years old and always breaking down due to lack of maintenance. By that age many cars do run into mechanical problems and need to be completely overhauled. Being an Amway IBO means you are constantly broke because you have to hand over all your money to the Amway cult leaders so there is no money leftover for car maintenance or to save up to buy a new car.

Those Amway assholes are experts on all things plumbing and electrical even though most of them have never picked up a hammer or a screwdriver. I saw a house an Amway “expert” jack of all trades was working on. The ceiling lights were falling out of their fixtures. The tile in the bathroom was not grouted right and squint and uneven. He was taking forever to paint the exterior because he had to keep stopping what he was doing to deal with the phone - calls and texts from the assholes in his Amway upline.

Those Amway assholes are experts when it comes to filling out your income tax. “Everything in Amway is a tax deduction! Claim that toilet paper!”

Those Amway assholes are “counsellors” even though they’ve never taken any formal training in counselling for behavior problems, emotional disorders, marital issues, etc. etc. “The facts don’t count!” Not when you’re an Amway asshole = automatic expert on everything!

IBOFB stopped visiting my blog a long time ago and I don’t follow anything he writes on the Internet but I see others making fun of him on other blogs because apparently he is a self proclaimed expert on everything - typical of know it all Amway assholes. He jumped into discussions on my blog where us women complained Amway’s eye cream didn’t do piss all for us and he told us if it doesn’t work then that means we’re not applying it correctly because Amway Artistry sells prestige products and there’s nothing wrong with them - the problem lies with the user. Yup its the typical old Amway standby response of blaming the victim. Same thing with Amway’s prestige tampons. If they leak after 30 minutes then us women must be putting them in wrong. Couldn’t have anything to do with the inferior quality of these products could it?

As people gain life experience they learn to sort through good and bad advice, take what works for them and reject the rest. Counselling with qualified financial advisors or other professionals can be smart for your business and personal life. Hearing a man giving  tampon advice is something that makes most women break down into uncontrollable laughter! But that’s an Amway asshole for you! Experts on everything!

A lot of people have similar goals: get out of debt, put money in the bank, buy a house, make wise investments, and retire comfortably not worrying about finances. Those are basics. Some people have different financial goals, perhaps buying a motorcycle or taking a half year vacation in the south of Italy. The best bet is to talk to people who have actual experience doing these things and hear their suggestions and listen to their advice.

There are many paths to reach the finish goal. Throughout the years I have asked for and taken advice from persons more experienced than I am. Some of the advice works, others not so good.

The arrogant pompous know it all Amway bastards that I had to suffer are the biggest bunch of assholes I’ve ever met in my life. Troublemaking bastards who can’t mind their own fucking business.

The one thing that I’ve become an expert at that no one in my upline will be ever be better than me at and that is blogging about what Amway assholes are really like!

Amway Ambots Paranoid Of All Things “Negative”!

What is it with all these Amway assholes that they are so fucking paranoid of all things they believe to be “negative”.

An Amway ambot’s definition of “negative” is anything that has an opposing view to their Amway cult leader’s position. This is why ambots are unable to tell the difference between the truth and negative.

Its like this unnatural obsession for negative that the Amway cult leaders brainwash into the ambots.

During the couple of years we were in the Amway hell hole I heard the word “negative” more times than I’ve heard it in the rest of my life put together. That tells me unnatural obsession by paranoid Amway assholes!

The last 20 years of my working life I worked for 3 different employers. None of them ever talked to us about anything negative or “don’t say negative” or there will be a lot of people out there who have “negative” things to say about our company. Nobody at any of these companies had a paranoid obsession with the word “negative”.

I get enough Amway assholes showing up claiming I’m negative because they can not accept the truth about their great cult. But really if people have to be so obsessed with all things “negative” perhaps they need to take a better look at what they’re doing. If you choose to work for a company with a shitty reputation and there are many people hitting the Internet with their horror stories about this company you gotta say to yourself - all these people can’t be wrong. Unless of course you are an Amway ambot and then you would say all these people are negative. Ambots choose to be commissioned salespeople for a company that sells overpriced shitty products, its next to impossible to find any customers so ambots go around bitching about all these negative people who won’t support their business.

I heard millions of times from the bastards in our Amway upline “don’t say negative”.

Can’t handle the truth assholes? TRUTH. An evil word to ambots. Just because something is true does not make it negative. And why are you Amway assholes so fucking paranoid of all things negative like its some kind of deadly communicable disease?!!!!

Grow a thick skin and learn to take criticism and the truth civilly instead of going on the attack. You are not running your own fucking Amway business!!!! You signed a fucking contract saying you’ll be a good little IBO! Someone else put a price tag on those shitty products! You can’t change that! Someone else decided how much commission you’ll make if you sell any shitty products! You can’t change that! Someone else decided to make food bars taste like shit and energy drinks taste like cat piss. You can’t change that! You have no control over “your own business”. Fucking morons! Get a fucking clue!!!!

As for you Amway ambots who show up on my blog and say I’m negative - well first of all what’s it to you anyway if I am. Do you think it hurts my feelings if some Amway asshole scum of the earth shows up at my blog and calls me negative. Well its better than being called a fucking Amway asshole!!!!

Aren’t you listening to  your sack of shit Platinum about not visiting “negative” websites about Amway. That’s because your cult leader doesn’t want you to learn the TRUTH! So why are you at my blog anyway leaving comments that prove you’re an Amway asshole! You better go listen to some more sermons from your Amway cult leaders about staying away from all things negative you paranoid little ambots!

You wanna lead the sheltered life of an ambot unable to tell the difference between the truth and the negative. Believing your cult leaders are the only people in the world who speak the truth and everyone else is a negative liar. The Amway cult leaders don’t want their downline to be influenced by outside forces who can reason, tell them the truth, and show the IBO’s that they’re wasting their time and more importantly wasting their money on trying to build an Amway business.

Since writing this blog I’ve had a few dozen negative ambots show up here who all say the same thing. Some canned amspeak response they’ve duplicated from their cult leaders. They all accuse me of being a broke loser. They all accuse me of working a job. They all predict I’ll be dead or broke by the time I’m 65. They all call me a negative unchristian dream stealer. I mean talk about NEGATIVE! Its the old Amway cult influence. Spread negativity around the world courtesy of being an Amway IBO.

Anna Banana is no way near being as NEGATIVE as an Amway asshole! Anna Banana isn’t paranoid about all things NEGATIVE the way those Amway assholes are! Anna Banana isn’t afraid to be NEGATIVE about the assholes she put up with thanks to Amway!

Those fucked up brainwashed ambots think they’re better than everyone else and here they are violating their upline cult leader’s rules by coming to my blog and spreading their Amway negativity.

Becoming an Amway “independent business owner” running a fake business, putting on a business suit, carrying a cell phone, lying to people that the business is not Amway, making false product claims, marching off to 8pm Amway cult meetings, and sneering at people who are not in Amway does not make an ambot a positive role model.

Amway makes for a hell of a lot of misery and negativity in one’s life.

Drop out of Amway and that’s a big load of negative you’ll also be dropping.

Amway is the shit hole for all things negative! If you choose to be a salesperson for a company that provides shitty overpriced products that is accused of being a cult and being a pyramid scheme (by multiple sources!)  and you choose to associate with a bunch of lying assholes - then don’t show up on blogs like mine and bitch about how NEGATIVE your life is and how you look at everything as NEGATIVE! You dug your outhouse. Go wallow in it!

The Dude In The Suit

Amway ambots are told by the Amway cult leaders that they have to wear business suits for all Amway meetings and anytime they are meeting with prospects they’re hoping to recruit into the Amway pyramid scheme.

What ambots fail to realize that just because they throw on a business suit and carry a cell phone doesn’t make them real “business owners”. They are still pretend business owners.

If someone is already established within their friends, family, and coworkers as a casual dresser, seeing them in a suit outside of church is going to raise eyebrows and wonder about this sudden weird obsession playing dress up.

Years ago I remember hearing the phrase to dress for success. That might have been true in decades past. I remember going to the bank when I was younger and the men were wearing suits and the women wore business-like dresses. You go into a bank now and there might be some staffers wearing suits but the majority are dressed more casually.

Dressing casually puts your customers at ease. If you’re wearing jeans and a golf shirt and you walk into a place full of suits your first impression is boy am I in the wrong place and you want to get the hell out of there ASAP!

Years ago I worked for a company that occupied a 3 story building. About 100 employees. Takes awhile to get to know everyone, especially the people who work on other floors. I was dropping something off on another floor and I’m not sure what was happening, some kind of scuffle at the fax machine. There were about 5 or 6 different fax numbers going to different departments and I have a feeling that someone had faxed the wrong number and the man who needed the information was standing guard at the fax machine waiting for it and being snarly about it. One of the women returned to her desk muttering about the dude in the suit. I took a peak. Sure enough this guy looked like he was dressed for a funeral. Neither of us knew who he was. The dress code for our office was casual so he did look out of place. The only “suits” were the president and occasionally senior management staff depending on whether they were in meetings that day. Except for the dude in the black funeral suit. Right up until the last day I worked for that place I never saw Mr. Dude-in-the-suit dressed casually.

I knew someone who worked in the human resources department for a large corporation and their department was responsible for dress codes. The workplace was business casual and she said she had to keep up with the current fashion trends and make adjustments to their policy to stay modern and up to date. In this day and age women are not required to wear dresses in the workplace. If they do, pantyhose is optional. (not in Amway by the way!) Most companies I worked for were casual dress codes. They didn’t want us wearing torn clothing, T-shirts, baseball caps, and anything that would be more appropriate at the beach. Women can still look good in a dress shirt, capris or knee length shorts, and casual footwear. Many businesses have Friday as a jeans day. Maybe that works better in other climates. Many companies I worked for had jeans day every Friday or pay day Fridays but the problem is its so hot outside who wants to wear jeans. No thanks. Casual attire shorts or capris that I wore the rest of the week is a much better choice. Most business owners and managers have figured out that people who are comfortable with what they’re wearing are comfortable interacting with others and can be more productive in the workplace. Beats resenting the boss cause he’s making you wear a monkey suit!

What ambots fail to realize is that they’re behind the times and they do not keep up with current fashion trends the way real business owners do. Business suits worn ALL the time are a thing of the past in the workplace. Smart business people know they need to put others at ease. Dressing casually means a casual atmosphere and casual people are comfortable in their surroundings. A business suit in McDonalds or Dunkin’ Donuts sticks out like a sore thumb. And is a sure fire sign that the wearer of such a garment in one of those places is in an MLM. I saw a man in a business suit in Krispy Kreme a few weeks ago looking anxiously at the door wondering when the prospect he’d set up a meeting with was going to walk in. If the prospect was smart - never. I spotted that bastard as soon as I walked in and guessed he’s probably an ambot. Avoid eye contact at all costs!

Amway is way behind the times with its male chauvinist pig attitude, decades old dress code, using obsolete technology (Communikate), and unable to jump into the 21st century and keep up with current fashion trends.

It is not necessary to wear business suits to BBQ’s, coffee shops, meetings in someone’s living room, or while sitting in the stands at an arena listening to Amway cult leaders spout off their bullshit. It is especially not necessary to wear heavy suits/dresses/pantyhose when the temperatures are skyrocketing. Wearing a business suit only impresses the Amway cult leader who ordered you to wear it to show your obedience to the asshole. Save the suits for church, funerals, job interviews, and other important events. There is nothing about Amway that is important enough to wear a suit!

Quit Amway and have the freedom to wear the clothes you want to wear. The same type of clothes that everyone else is wearing. No need to stick out like a geek anymore!

So yup, one more time I send a big old fuck you out to our Amway upline and their century old attitude.

8 Things You Shouldn’t Do If You’re An Amway Ambot

Well there’s a whole lot more than eight things an ambot shouldn’t do but I saw this article titled 8 Things You Shouldn’t Do At Work and decided to find a way to make it apply to Amway ambots. Except that ambots will never follow these guidelines because they’re a bunch of arrogant assholes who think they’re better than everyone else because they’re in Amway. Being polite, respectful, and courteous to others does not apply when you’re in the Amway cult.

  1. Talking too loudly on the phone - Yup all those rotten lousy ambots full of self importance at being a “business owner” have a phone plastered to their ear EVERYWHERE yapping away loudly so everyone around them can tell how “important” they are doing business on their cell phone. Get a clue you fucking ambots! Nobody wants to listen to your side of the conversation! Go somewhere else and pretend to be big shot dicks!
  2. Listening to loud music or videos - AAACCCKKKK!!!!! I could just scream whenever my Ambot or another ambot insisted on sticking a CD into the car’s player or their portable unit and crank up the volume! FUCK!!!!! Turn off that fucking piece of shit! The rest of us who aren’t brainwashed ambots don’t give a shit about what that fucking Diamond has to say! Where’s the sledge hammer??????
  3. Messing up the (kitchen) auditorium -  Ambots are slobs! Every Scamway meeting we attended the ambots would bring overpriced snacks - XS cat piss drink, (not)Perfect Water, and shitty food bars. They’d leave their trash on the floor under the seats when they leave. Is it so difficult to pick up your fucking Amway trash and carry it outside to the nearest garbage can? Fucking ambots with a sense of entitlement - Oh the arena has hired a janitor to pick up after us. I’ll give you a little message from that janitor. “Fuck you ambot slobs!”
  4. Bringing your kids into the office too much - I had trouble with this one until I read down and article substituted kids with spouse or friends. So lets just go with:
    • Bringing your wife to Amway meetings too much - especially when your wife don’t want to be there. Nobody wants to watch their significant other being brainwashed into a cult and watch their bank account dwindle and their debt increase. Leave her at home or there will be hell to pay somewhere down the road!
  5. Crowding everyone’s inbox - Everyone in our World Wide Destructive Bastards line had to sign up for a Yahoo Group account so the cult leaders could send messages. Yeah like we don’t get enough junk and spam showing up in our inbox without Amway’s fucking cult leaders adding to it. Same thing with text messages. Never ending deluge!
  6. Being a Debbie Downer? - what the fuck I’ve never heard that term before. Bottom line it means someone negative. Ambots are the most negative people I know. Always going around predicting doom and gloom. This business and that business and the other business are all closing down, going bankrupt, whatever. Everyone will be dead or broke by the time they’re 65 - except of course for Amway ambots.
  7. Texting in the elevator - Or texting anywhere else! Those fucking Amway ambots always got their cell phones either on a car or texting trying to look big and important. Fucking morons! Those texts from the upline go on late in the evening often the wee hours of the morning and then start up again around 6am. Mostly our sack of shit Platinum. Fuck you asshole just because you drank a bunch of XS piss water and can’t sleep get off your fucking phone and give us a break!
  8. Dressing Inappropriately - what’s with this wearing a business suit to a BBQ? What’s this with wearing a business suit at night? What’s this with wearing a business suit to a cult meeting? Those fucking Amway ambots can’t figure it out that people can dress casually and comfortably and not look like slobs. Its not all about the suit! Its all about the control issue when you’re being brainwashed by a cult. Wear a fucking suit cause I said so and I’m your cult leader so you better fucking listen to me!!!!
No ambot will ever follow these guidelines. Ambots have their heads so far up their asses that they don’t see how everyone looks at them as a bunch of arrogant obnoxious assholes.

And the one thing you should do when you are no longer in the Amway cult? Apologize to everyone you treated badly because they would not support your phony business in the Amway pyramid scheme. Apologizing to everyone who you pissed off with the above 8 points is a good start.

Is $75,000 the Magical Platinum Income?

When we attended Amway cult meetings our sack of shit Platinum sometimes asked who in the room earns at least $75,000/year.

It must have pissed him off to no end that my Ambot was the only person to raise his hand because he stopped asking that question after a few times of us attending his cult meetings. And it must have really pissed off that bastard that my husband makes more money than he does!

I think $75,000/year is the bragged about Platinum income, give or take a few thousand. Through research since I quit Amway I know that income can not be earned at the Platinum level. Nor the $125,000 an Emerald is supposed to earn, again give or take a few thousand depending on who is bragging about the money amount. I found this out by reading Eric Scheibeler’s book Merchants of Deception that as an Amway Emerald with a thousand people in his downline, he was only earning around $30,000/year, again give or take a few thousand. Also I saw a Youtube video of a former Emerald who said he only made between $2000 and $3000/month when he was with Scamway. He couldn’t afford to stick it out any longer in Amway and now makes a better income.

I doubt a Platinum can earn $75,000/year unless he’s running a lot of retail through his business which is nearly next to impossible to find regular customers willing to buy overpriced substandard Amway products.

So that “who makes $75,000/year” question probably brings another question to mind for everyone reading my blog. The same question that went through my mind.

Why in the hell would someone who already owns their own business and earns at least $75,000/year be interested in an Amway business and taking a cut in income?

I couldn’t figure out why my husband would want to shelf his legitimate business to get into a business where he makes less money a year. On a business built on a lies.

Fucking crazy!

Until I understood that my husband was being brainwashed by an evil cult.

And that’s when it became terrifying. The hold this evil cult has on its victims. Driven by greed. The Amway cult demands full control over their cult members money and their sanity.

Amway’s Retirement Plan?

Don’t laugh - but a searcher ended up on my blog searching for “does Amway have a retirement plan”?

OK. I will laugh. That is funny that some dumb ass actually thinks Amway has a retirement plan! I don’t know if that refers to Amway employees or Amway IBO’s which are pretty much one and the same. They’re all (mis)representing Amway in some capacity. And neither has a retirement plan.

I heard from an Amway employee who worked for the head office in Michigan for many years. No retirement/pension plan. And quite bitter about it, as rightly they should be. I have ambots showing up on my blog leaving comments about how Amway did $10 billion in business last year. You’d think a company this big would take care of its employees. I’ve worked for companies nowhere near that amount and we had either a pension or could contribute to a 401k or stock options or similar. Big companies that treat their employees like shit will not offer retirement plans or if they do only to a select few people. Ah nothing like breeding contempt in the workplace!

Amway knows no boundaries! It breeds contempt all around the world!

But enough of talking about how Amway treats its employees like shit. I’m going the other direction with the “does Amway have a retirement plan” theory and applying it to the phony ass business owners who refer to themselves as IBO’s.

If there was a retirement plan in the traditional sense where the employee and/or the employer make regular contributions to some sort of retirement savings, then I don’t know nothing about it. I’m going out on a limb and saying such an Amway program does not exist because our sack of shit Platinum would have bragged about it endlessly if there was such a thing.

The Amway retirement program is something that IBO’s have to create themselves. How? Well by showing up for Amway meetings for the next 2 to 5 years, spending at least $300/month on shitty overpriced Amway products, attending every Amway meeting, attending every out of town Amway function, spending hours dealing with your Amway upline, subscribing to Communikate and WWDB premier membership (combined close to $100/month), etc, etc. And sometime in those 2 to 5 years the IBO will be rewarded by Amway sending them bazillions of dollars every month for the rest of their lives in the form of residual income. Easy! Being rewarded just by virtue of showing up and buying Amway products and tools. That in a nutshell is Amway’s retirement plan according to all the assholes in our upline.

Spending all that money on the Amway scam sounds like the IBO is funding the retirement program of the person who owns Amway and the Diamonds who are perched at the top of the pyramid. That’s where the money goes! It flows up. Not down.

The BEST Amway retirement plan is to quit Amway. I averaged out that it costs between $500 and $700/month to be an Amway IBO. Maybe higher for some people who get carried away buying Amway products and tools to impress their upline which only goes on for as long as there is room on the credit card. Take that $500/month and invest it in some kind of retirement savings plan. That money could be a down payment on a condo or house to be rented out. There’s monthly residual income right there and when the time is right sell it for a profit. Or $500/month could be invested in the stock market. The possibilities are endless where one can invest an extra $500 or more a month. And probably means having money ready for retirement either in the form of dividends, rent payments, or selling stocks.

Put simply, the more time you spend stuck inside the Amway pyramid scheme throwing your money away at the great Amway gods is less money that you can put towards your retirement goals.

When you’re in Amway all your disposable income must go to purchasing Amway products or investing in the Amway tool scam. There is no extra money to put towards retirement savings.

Be smart. Quit Amway and start funding your own retirement plan instead of making the fat cat bosses at Amway richer.

THERE IS NO RETIREMENT PLAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Stick with Amway = being broke by the time you are ready to retire.

Amway Ambot and the Shitmobile!

So it seems this Amway ambot sees a hot prospect in the form of a cute young lady. So he pretends to be interested in her like he wants to be her new boyfriend. He brags to her about how he's a business owner and tells her how much money he makes.

"Lets see your bank account statement." She asks him.

"Oh, no. That's private". He answers.

She has her doubts. Is this really a nice guy or is he a scam artist.

So he asks her out on a date. He says he's taking her to a BBQ and she should dress nice.

She's a little suspicious. Dress nice for a BBQ? Whats wrong with wearing shorts or jeans like normal people wear to BBQ's. Its not like its a formal event. But he tells her there are some people at this BBQ he wants to impress so she wears a nice dress.

He picks her up in this hunk of junk car.

"What's with the car? I thought you were a big time business owner making lots of money. Why are you driving a piece of shit like this."

"I'm investing my money back into my business. I'm buying my next car with cash so I have to save up."

Then she asks him why he's wearing a business suit and tie. I mean who dresses this guy. Too formal for a BBQ. He tells her this is how he always dresses because he dresses for success cause thats what his mentors told him to do and he explains that he is in a mentoring and leadership training type of business.

Even though she wonders what the fuck thats supposed to mean she gets in the car anyway. Then he confesses to her that they are really going to an Amway meeting and he's only pretending its a BBQ.

Now she's really pissed off. She's heard of that company. Words come to mind like pyramid scheme, scam, cult, overpriced products.

Could this day get any worse? But she kind of likes him so even though she's pissed she doesn't bitch too much about the Amway meeting. Fortunately for her she never gets there.

Watch this video to find out why.

Ha ha! Gotta have a good laugh going into the weekend!

Davidicus sending prank email to Amway. Hilarious!

I came across this web page with a prank email written by Davidicus to various employees at Amway. In typical Amway fashion they keep passing the buck to someone else to deal with it.

I have no idea if this is a real exchange of emails or if Davidicus has scripted all this but either way its hilarioius. It starts off slow but gets funny fast. Here's one of my favorite passages. The link to the web page is at the bottom. Enjoy!

Mary,

Chad, the IBO I met at the neighborhood potluck, told me that Amway was a path to achieving my dreams. But my dream is to NOT work. And becoming a business owner requires work. Chad also told me that with the money he earned through his business he'd built a dungeon in his basement for adult invite-only parties. I don't know what he meant by that. But I was definitely interested in contacting you folks about achieving my dreams.

Owning a business sounds like a great way to earn super fast money. But would I be allowed to sublet my business so I don't have to actually work? Also, does Amway sell leather products?

Every time I try to talk to Chad he keeps bringing up his invite-only parties. And he stands too close to me.

Thanks!
Davidicus

Communikate Makes IBO’s Superior Over Other IBO’s

When we were in the Amway cult our Platinum cult leader told all his followers that they had to be on Communikate. He would know who the serious business builders are because they subscribe to Communikate. The cult leader constantly rode his downline’s asses about how he only worked with “serious business builders”. He wasn’t wasting his time on anyone who wasn’t a “serious business builder”.

Of course Ambot rushed to sign up. He MUST please his beloved cult leader!

Communikate is a rip off. When we were in the cult it cost $36.95/month. That’s approximately the same as a monthly cell phone plan for a phone that can do pretty much the same things as Communikate.

But what is Communikate? Or “Kate” as the Amway cultists affectionately refer to it.

When you sign up for the Communikate service you are assigned a toll free phone number. Ambots were told to put this toll free number on their business cards. Oh yes we had to have business cards because after all we were “business owners”. The inclusion of a toll free phone number on the card would make the ambots better than everyone else who had business cards without a toll free phone number. It made them look like real business owners with a long distance presence.

Toll free number. Just for kicks I phoned our old one. I got a recording that seemed halfway through their speech something about a problem and then listed off some numbers. Hmmm. Amway. Communikate. A problem. Yeah they all seem to go hand in hand.

Communikate was like a voice mail system. The cult leaders could bullshit about something and send off the voice mail to everyone in their downline. I often caught Ambot listening to the messages. Sometimes a few messages would back up over an hour or two before he could get around to listening. He would swell with pride if the sack of shit Platinum mentioned his name about something like Ambot is an up and comer or whatever ego stroking bullshit he spewed out. Sometimes Ambot called me over and replayed something he thought I’d be interested in.

He was wrong! Most of the time I yelled from the other room to turn that shit down or turn it off. Its bad enough I have to listen to those fucking cult leaders when I’m dragged off to Amway meetings but putting up with those bastards jabbering in the background in my own house is going too far.

I think Communikate was also a facilitator for conference calls between the cult followers. There were set times that Ambot had to be ready and waiting by his phone for these conference calls.

But mostly Communikate was for voice messages upline sent down to the cult followers. You know all that “very important information” the cult leaders send out as part of their information control brainwashing.

It seems to me that Ambot also had the Communikate toll free number on our Amway web page. That one cost $50/month part of the WWDB premier membership. Cha ching!

Our sack of shit Platinum often sent out messages on Communikate to round up his cult followers to meet him in an hour at a destination of his choosing. All the ambots had to drop whatever they were doing and haul ass to get to their cult leader or face his wrath later for disobedience. The sack of shit told them in his message not to tell any other Amway IBO’s that they were going to a very important Amway meeting. This was his strategy to weed out who had Communikate and who didn’t. The ones that did not show up were presumed not to be spending $36.95/month for this service.

At the next “open” Amway meeting the sack of shit Platinum would get on his pedestal and rant about the cult followers who did not have Communikate.

Then this part would really piss me off. Ambot would pipe up and say “They don’t?” in a tone full of horror and self righteousness and “I’m better than all you fuckers because I’m on Communikate” attitude. Those ambots were always going around with the attitude that they’re better than everyone else for no other reason than they’re an Amway IBO. Then they’d take it a step further and have a “I’m better than the rest of you ambots” superior attitude within their cult group.

Why don’t we just say that every ambot in the room who owns a car manufactured within the last 5 years is better than ambots who drive older cars? Why don’t we just say that every ambot in the room who owns a house is better than ambots who are just renters?

That’s a brainwashed ambot mind at work for you!

As I already pointed out the $36.95/month for Communikate is just another way the Amway cult leaders rip off their followers. Most of Communikate’s features are standard with most cell phone packages. A toll free phone number? So people can leave you messages? Think about it. How many out of towners do ambots deal with anyway? Most cell phones offer texting packages across the country. All good little ambots must have Internet. Email, instant messaging, websites where audio and video can be done for free.

Somewhere upline Diamonds are getting a huge chunk of Communikate commission for every dumb ass ambot that’s conned into getting ripped off purchasing this useless “tool”.

Another Platinum Bites The Dust

A few weeks ago we were having dinner with a friend who also happens to know and dislike our former Platinum from the first time we were in Amway and WWDB over 10 years ago. Our friend was never in Amway. She’s not friends with our former Platinum either, just knew her back then through mutual acquaintances.

She told us that she knows someone who is still in Amway who knows our former Platinum, not sure if in the same downline or crossline or what. Anyway according to the Amway insider our former Platinum did something bad and got booted out of Amway.

When we knew her I didn’t like her. She was a mean, bossy bitch. To put a positive spin I do not remember feeling that we were in a cult or that there was any brainwashing going on. I don’t know if cult techniques weren’t encouraged back then in World Wide Dream Builders or if she violated the be-a-good-cult-leader policy or if she sucked at brainwashing. I don’t know. All I can say is back then we lost a few thousand dollars, never signed up any downline, never made any money and quit. There was no emotional distress.

The horror didn’t come until the last round of Amway. That was the full hell, sheer terror, full-blown cult version of Amway.

As far as I’m concerned Amway gave the wrong Platinum the boot. Our last Platinum is more deserving. He’s a liar and he fucks over Amway and steals from them. Apparently those are traits that Amway likes and encourages in their Platinums because he’s still strutting around being the arrogant asshole top shit Amway commissioned saleman that he thinks is the best job in the world.

Terminating a Platinum? Why would Amway do that? Someone at the Platinum level probably has at least $25,000 a month in downline sales going through Amway. Amway doesn’t want to lose those kinds of sales.

So why would Amway terminate our first Platinum? For being a mean bitch? Not likely. They’d have very few Platinums left if they used that criteria.

Terminate a Platinum for lying to their downline? Holy shit! Amway would have zero Platinums!

Terminate a Platinum for lying to Amway’s head office and stealing from them? Nope. Our former Platinum is living proof that a Platinum can get away with that and Amway doesn’t give a shit and doesn’t do nothing.

Our first Platinum did not abuse the downline the way our last Platinum did so if someone is going to get booted out of Amway for being an asshole to their downline it should have been the pompous sack of shit not the mean, bossy bitch.

So much for her being a “business owner”. I don’t know of any real business owner who owns a legitimate business that can get fired. You own your own business don’t you. You’re the boss. Who can fire you? Can you fire yourself? Ha ha!

My husband and I have operated a business for many years. Who can fire us? I suppose we could fire each other. What fun would that be? It would be kind of dumb. Give the other guy more work to do.

Just one of the many lies is the Amway bullshit that you’re a business owner and you own your own Amway business. The truth is you can get your “business” ripped away from you at any time for apparently no good reason after spending years and thousands of dollars on the Amway scam. Our first Platinum is proof of this.

Oh well. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person! Ha ha!

One down one to go......

Can You Get The Free Amway Products and Then Quit?

Interesting. A Google search for “can you get the free Amway products and then quit” brought a searcher to my blog.

All I could think was what the hell are the free Amway products? Those bastards don’t give nothing away for free.

Signing up for Amway including the starter kit that was around $150. My memory might be a little off. It was broken down to something like $60 for the Amway annual membership and $90 worth of Amway products. I could be $10 or so off in my recollection but I’m in the ballpark.

In the Amway literature it says you are not required to buy the starter kit of Amway products but the upline rides your ass as soon as they’ve recruited you to sign your life away to the cult. They say “you want to be a serious business builder don’t you? Then you have to buy the starter kit. You can try the products yourself and tell others how good they are or you can give them away. If you give them away they become marketing and promotional material for your business and you can deduct them when you do your income taxes.”

I’m not sure if this unfortunate recruit was lied to and told the cost to join Amway is $150 and you get “free” products for that price. IBO’s use whatever lies they can to sign up an IBO so that’s my guess.

More than likely my guess is dead on than the fantasy that Amway is actually giving away free products!

Its possible someone in this IBO’s upline pulled a fast one on Amway like our Platinum frequently did to screw over Amway. He’d call Amway and say he sold a case of XS Energy Drinks (or any other equally disgusting Amway product) and say the buyer hated the product and he’d ask for a replacement, another flavor to see if the sucker would like it better. So our lying Platinum constantly got freebies that way by pretending all his customers hated the Amway products. Hating Amway products is not such a far stretch from the truth!

The only other instances of free products that I can think of is if someone in Amway’s shipping department fucked up when picking the order and put something extra into the case. Hey some IBO gets free stuff they’re not going to phone head office and bitch about it. They’re going to keep it. After all Amway is ripping everyone off with their high prices they feel entitled to keep any freebies that end up getting shipped to them.

And quite rightly so I say.

So to the IBO who found their way here with the question can you get the free Amway products and then quit, I say absolutely you can quit ASAP. That’s the best thing you can do! Quit the fucking cult! The sooner the better so you can get a refund on your Amway membership. And yes more than likely Amway will not want their shitty products in the starter kit returned so you can keep the “free” Amway products.

And that in a nutshell is how you get free Amway products. Though why anyone would want them is the bigger mystery.

Wow! Talk about a treasure! Struck gold on this one!

Brainwashed Ambots Will Never Understand

Contrary to brainwashed ambot opinion, I am not consumed with others who are pursuing something better.

I am consumed with letting other people know how I feel about the assholes in our Amway upline.

I’ve been accused of knocking down business owners because I’m too lazy to pursue it myself? Yeah right I’m a lazy business owner. I bet there are many IBO’s out there who wished they could have my kind of lazy in the form of a 6 figure income. If I wasn’t so lazy I could probably be in the 7 figures! Ha ha!!!

The only Amway “business owners” that I knock down are the fucking assholes in my upline. I knock them down because they’re fucking assholes not because they “own” a business or are trying to make a better life for themselves. If they think Amway is the answer to their prayers and the path to financial freedom that’s their problem. Read the small print!

Brainwashed IBO's are the biggest judgmental people around. Some show up accidentally or on purpose at anti-Amway blogs and accuse the blogger of judging others! Ha! Look in the mirror! Most of us have agendas and its gone nothing to do with you personally. If we can help some IBO's find the strength to leave Amway then that's a good thing. Personally I don't care if an IBO chooses to turn a blind eye to the horrors I went through thanks to our fucking upline brainwashing my husband. Its my story and I'll tell it how I want. If you don't like to hear about the anguish I went through in Amway hell then don't come here and read my blog.

I also love how brainwashed ambots accuse legitimate business owners of being lazy but those brainwashed ambots are too lazy to become real business owners instead of throwing away their money on a pretend business. They pin their shaky future on Amway with a less than 1% chance of making a profit. Love it!

If these horrified IBO's come back to my blog I hope you one day they will know what it is like to be a successful business owner. Its wonderful running a legitimate business setting your own hours, deciding on your own policies, making your own prices, deciding what you’ll wear in the morning, deciding when and how long to take vacations. Go to your library and check out books about starting your own business and get some ideas. There are many business you can get into that have low start up and operating costs. You’ll probably be investing less money than you do in Amway.

You ambots need to get rid of your negative attitude towards people who are not involved in Amway and that might require counselling because of how the cult has brainwashed you. You need to understand that there is nothing wrong with people who have jobs. Likewise there is nothing wrong with people who own their own businesses that are not Amway businesses. You ambots can not expect to be successful in Amway or anything else when you’re busy sneering at people and looking down your nose at them just because they’re not associated with Amway. Once you get that through your head you might be open to receiving genuine information on running a legitimate business. Good luck to you.

Amway and our asshole upline are no longer hurting me and my husband. Now its my time to turn the tables by blogging about our awful Amway experience and the upline abuse.

The Lunch Box

Last year - or maybe it was the year before, time flies past so fast for me - some friends gave me a designer lunch box for my birthday. Interesting choice especially since I haven’t worked an outside job for a long time and have no need to pack a lunch anywhere. I’m not sure if it was a joke or maybe they were trying to tell me something? Hmmm. Oh well, its the thought that counts. I pretty much forgot about it.

A few days ago I was going out long enough over mid day and I thought I might get hungry so I decided I’d pack myself a snack and put it in a lunch box. I figured I must still have one or two lunch bags hanging around from my working days but I couldn’t find them. Then I spotted the new one my friends gave me in the cupboard where I keep flashlights and candles. Ah ha! So that’s what happened to it! I clipped off the tag still held on by a zap strap - its called Fit Fresh. Has a website too. http://www.fit-fresh.com/ Big enough to hold an ice pack, a slice of pizza left over from the night before, and a can of 7 Up. Actually had plenty of room left over for more food but that was all I was taking with me.

Off I go around 11:30am with my lunch bag packed like I’m heading off to work!

Then it got me thinking about ambots who leave comments on my blog and on other bloggers pages. In addition to being told we didn’t try hard enough and that we’re quitters and broke losers, we always seem to get accused of holding down a job, working for someone else, having an employee mentality, and similar Amway sneers directed at people who work for living and pack a lunch bag before leaving for the day.

Why do workers pack a lunch bag? The first thing that comes to my mind is that its probably cheaper than eating out. Packing leftovers from the previous night’s dinner or slapping a sandwich together, throwing in yogurt, a piece of fruit, and cookies, and eating in the staff lunchroom is more economical than going to a restaurant.

I bet most ambots don’t even pack a lunch when they go off to their job. Their mentality is they are “business owners” and therefore entitled to buy their lunch each day or at least pretend they can afford to buy their lunch everyday and keep that image up to others of being a successful business person. Yeah! Make those coworkers jealous! Lazy ass broke losers that they are!

Lets estimate $10 a day for lunch and that includes a beverage and tip for the server. $50/week or about $200/month. Egads! That’s already more than the average IBO grosses in a month. Totally ate up the business profits! Ha ha!

Another reason I can think of for people pack a lunch is to make healthy eating choices. Someone heading to McDonald’s or Wendy’s is going to get a greasy meal and likely pay over $5 for it. Both these chains have a dollar menu and you can buy a burger, small fries, and small drink for a buck a piece, maybe even dessert for another buck. Cheaper meal than a sit down restaurant but how healthy is that every day?

But you know what else those ambots are doing? They are holding on to the receipts for the restaurants they go to on the lunch breaks from their job and then write them off as business expenses on their tax return. They’ll claim they talked Amway during their lunch - maybe phoned their upline - and that its a legitimate expense.

Yeah, well good luck with that if you get audited and your boss can prove to the auditor that you were on the clock that day during the lunch hour period.

Occasionally my husband and I eat lunch out because we’ve had to take care of business in another town and were gone longer than expected and got hungry. We have legitimate business receipts to prove we were engaged in business related activities before or after lunch. The last time I can think of that we did that was about 2 months ago so its not like we're doing anything to grab an auditor's attention plus we have invoices to prove we were in that town conducting business if it came down to that.

Can an ambot on lunch break from their day job prove they were engaged in business related activities? I’d say probably not.

Contrary to what the upline brainwashes them into thinking, Ambots won’t be living a life of luxury in 2 to 5 years while residual income rolls in for the rest of their lives.

Save money. Eat healthier. Pack a lunch bag.

When it comes to Amway there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

Franchise Yourself!

Our Platinum always tried to convince us at Amway meetings that owning an Amway business was like owning a franchise and as business owners we were franchising ourselves. He compared being a business owner of an “Amway franchise” to being a franchise owner of a McDonalds. And then he would put down those idiots who own McDonalds franchises because they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in start up costs compared to Amway where you get started in owning your own business for $150.

Another comparison to McDonalds was made by former WWDB Lemming that 20 years ago his upline made the comparison saying all McDonalds franchisees follow the program, duplicate what other McDonald’s franchise owners ahead of them did, and that’s why were successful. The comparison being that if you duplicated your upline you too would be a successful Amway “franchise” business owner.

Comparing Amway meetings 20 years apart. Still teaching the same thing and using the same owning a McDonald’s franchise to owning an Amway business because its not a franchise no matter how hard those Platinum bastards try to brainwash us into believing.

I have another comparison to McDonald’s. The McDonald’s owner is making thousands of dollars a month more than an Amway IBO. And that includes the income from the IBO’s day job tallied with their Amway (lack of) income.

Who made the better franchise investment? McDonalds owner or Amway IBO “business owner”.

I have Entrepreneur’s top 10 list of franchises for 2011. They go a little further with the top 10 homebased franchises, top 10 lowcost, etc. To see the list http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchises/toptenlists/index.html

Nowhere anywhere on their top 10 lists do I see Amway!

I do see what looks to me like much better business opportunities!

Owning a franchise is another lie bestowed upon us by our upline. Its to give IBO’s a sense of importance. Not only do they own their own business but they own their own franchise.

Well whoopee doo!

Pretend Business Owners

“Here’s what we’ll do for you. We’ll help you get started in your own business. And we’ll offer you coaching and mentoring.”

I heard that at just about every Amway meeting.

I probably heard that long before we even got involved in Amway when I went to an information meeting about an entrepreneurship training program which I ultimately spent several months attending.

Amway IBO’s sponsor people by telling them this is their opportunity to be a business owner but don’t give any further advice on what else is involved when starting up a business. You’d think this would come up in one of the late night “teachings”. Instead those “teachings” consist mainly of rants about which IBO’s should change their clothes, hairstyle, car they drive, etc. It would make better sense if those “teachings” actually provided useful information such as advice on how real business owners set up shop.

While I’m not going over the curriculum or advice I received during my entrepreneurship training, here are a few things I learned there about starting my own business.

1. Search for a business name. This doesn’t mean thinking up a name, decide to start using that name, go for it, and that’s the end of the story. It means you pay a government agency to do a name search to see if anyone else has already registered that business name.

2. Register your business name, probably at the same government agency.

3. Purchase a business license for the city where you live/do business in.

4. Purchase business insurance including errors and omissions insurance. (This is to cover your ass in case you lie or make misrepresentations to others while tricking them to come to Amway meetings, sponsoring IBO’s, or buying products. Piss off the wrong person and that insurance might come in handy.)

Real coaches and mentors would have these on their checklist for starting up a business. Phony coaches and mentors running a scam wouldn't.

There are many steps to take when starting up a company such as buying equipment, payroll, tax numbers, hiring professionals (accountant, lawyer), registering the vehicle under company name, etc. The above lists just gets most self employed entrepreneurs started. Important starting steps to take to be considered a serious business owner.

The Amway IBO’s I knew didn’t take any of these basic steps and yet they still considered themselves “business owners”. Ha! Nothing but jokesters pretending to be business owners. Not in the same league.

I’d say Ambot and I were the only IBO’s in our leg who were real business owners, and I’m talking a business that has nothing to do with Amway. The steps we took when setting up our real business, we didn’t take with the “Amway business” because we were never instructed to do so by our upline. Amway “business owners” or commissioned salespeople?

To sum up our Amway penance: pretend business owners losing real money.
