What To Do In Las Vegas Instead Of Going To Amway WWDB Spring Leadership

Amway World Wide Dream Builders is holding WWDB Spring Leadership in Las Vegas, Nevada April 12 – 14, 2013 at the Orleans Arena.

So that means another one of my posts where I find things to do in town instead of attending Spring Leadership. Actually sitting in your hotel room watching TV would be more productive than attending the Spring Leadership brainwashing session but Las Vegas is a town devoted to entertaining its visitors so there are no shortage of things to do in this city that never sleeps. The thing that everyone associates Las Vegas with is gambling. Some people who’ve never been don’t realize there are other things to do. A foreign concept to Amway IBO’s who probably think there is nothing else to do in this town except attend an Amway function called Spring Leadership. When you’re an ambot in love with Amway all you can say is - “what else is there”.

I’d say you got more chance of making money in a Las Vegas casino that at an Amway function. So start off there.

If you’re on a budget Las Vegas has a bunch of free and low cost entertainment that are way better than attending a shitty Amway function like WWDB Spring Leadership 2013.

Long gone are the days in Las Vegas when casinos were trying to lure in gamblers with all you can eat buffets under $10. These days the hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard have increased the quality and selection of the food at their buffets and likewise the price has jumped up. Dinner at an all you can eat will cost around $20, more if you eat somewhere like at the Bellagio. Non-buffet restaurants in the hotel/casinos run what you’d pay for a medium priced meal anywhere else in the country - $10 to $20 entrees, most meals OK but not usually worth the money. The best bang for your buck is to head downtown to the older hotels/casinos in the Fremont Street Experience. Here you will find all you can eat buffets under $10 - barely. You might still find one of those infamous shrimp cocktails for a buck or two. If you weigh over 350 pounds you can eat for free at the Heart Attack Grill.
Nightlife - Las Vegas has no shortage of options. Most hotels give you a coupon book when you check in and you might be lucky to find a 2 for 1 coupon at a show you might actually like to see. Unfortunately you will not see the twofers to Celine Dion or Elton John. Not even Donny and Marie! All these acts cost over $100 per person. There is several booths on the street called Half Price Tickets or maybe its Half Price Shows I don’t remember exactly which its called and you can ask them what prices they have for some acts. Usually the good shows you want to see are not half price but they have a small discount. Don’t confuse them with the time share salespeople who are as bad as Amway salesmen and are lurking inside hotels and on the sidewalk wanting to give you free tickets and free meals. Yeah if you don’t mind sitting through a 3 hour high pressured sales presentation for a time share condo. Some people don’t mind don’t mind doing that for the freebies! And at least they give you freebies for sitting through their sales pitch. Amway ambots don’t give you piss all.

Should be interesting having a flock of Amway salespeople in town looking for new recruits and the only people who want to talk to them are time share salespeople. Who’s going to win that round?

The Treasure Island Hotel has a pirate ship show. I hate to give out wrong times but I think the first show is at 7pm and it goes every hour and a half until around 11pm. The times are posted on the sidewalk near the show area. Get there ahead of time because this place gets PACKED with people crowded all over the sidewalks and viewing areas. Next door at the Mirage is a volcano that erupts starting (I think) at 7pm and every hour until midnight. The Bellagio Hotel has a fountain and light and music show that starts sometime in the afternoon and goes until midnight every 15 minutes a new musical selection.
Fremont Street Experience is downtown Las Vegas where some old hotels like the Golden Nugget, 4 Queens, and Fitzgeralds are located and have cheaper prices than hotels on the Strip. The area was closed off to cars years ago. There is often some kind of musical act playing on a stage that doesn’t cost anything to watch. At night there is a light show on the domed roof with a musical accompaniment that you can’t hear because of the disco sound system blasting out of all the casinos on Fremont. If you’re not afraid of heights there is a zip line that takes you from one end to partly down Fremont Street, maybe a block or so ride, costs around $10 or $15.

Want to see the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon? Either rent a car or there are a bunch of bus tours that take you and will pick up/drop off at your hotel. Starts around $30 depends what you’re doing and if you choose a tour that includes other attractions like Liberace’s museum or a buffet lunch somewhere.

Like going on amusement park rides? Some of the hotels have them or a few of them. Prices vary from one ride to an all day pass. $20 or $30 maybe less. Still way under what it costs to get your brain cells sucked out at Amway WWDB Spring Leadership. Check out Circus Circus, New York New York, and the Stratosphere for thrill rides.

So there you have it. Lots of things to do in Las Vegas either for free or on the cheap that won’t cost you as much as it does to go to WWDB Amway Spring Leadership 2013. Not to mention lots more fun! This is a town built for fun! Don’t wreck it by going to a fucking stupid Amway convention!

And to make sure I draw in a few more with key words here’s the list of the other spots Amway is holding their brainwashing sessions:

Spokane, Washington April 19 – 21, 2013 at the Spokane Arena
Honolulu, Hawaii April 21 – 22, 2013 at The Modern.
Washington, DC April 27 – 28, 2013 at the Hyatt Dulles
Denver, Colorado, April 27 – 28, 20013 at the Denver Merchandise Mart Plaza
Calgary, Alberta May 3 – 5, 2013 at the Calgary Stampede Corral
Minneapolis, Minnesota May 4 – 5, 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center
And a couple more key words because there are a bunch of dumb ass Amway ambots that think they have the power to turn back time and put this into their Google searches: Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2012! And one more for the Amway asshole who is thinking ahead to next year! Yeah I shit you not! Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2014. Yup ambots are so fucking brainwashed by their Amway cult leaders they have no clue what year it is!

And let me sign off as I usually do with one of these posts!

Amway WWDB Spring Leadership sucks!

All Amway functions suck!

  1. Hi,My husband and I were in Amway in 1989 and didn't renew in 2000 (New century, new life)! A few weeks back I Googled WWDB to see if they were still in existence and found your blog. I've been enjoying your experiences(The dog food stories are hilarious,I'm still laughing about those)! Anyways I found that the same people are at the top as 20+years ago! WTF! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who hated going to all those puke-worthy functions(a huge waste of time and $). Keep up the great work in exposing this so-called business. I look forward to reading more from you. Have a great day!(Any day is great without Amway in it)!

    1. Hi Anonymous - glad you're enjoying the blog! Good plan not renewing your Amway membership. Great new years resolution for anyone - stay away from the scam! Yup unfortunately WWDB or as I prefer to call them World Wide Destructive Bastards is stil around with the same old Diamonds that were around 10 15 20 years ago. So much for all this bullshit breaking new Diamonds that all these brainwashed ambots claim is going on. And sure when we were at Amway functions a few new Diamonds were introduced only to disappear because they're not getting any speaking engagements at these major functions. That's where the money is and the old timers ain't letting no newbies join thir club no matter how much they bullshit their downline into how much they'd live to be standing on the stage with them. Greedy bastards want to keep as much of the pie as they can. And yup any day without Amway in it is great. It was just such a great relief to get out of Amway and away from all those fucking assholes in our upline.

    2. you might not "be in Amway" you might not like it.. I don´t care... but.. anyway...you are here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/27/consumer-brands-owned-ten-companies-graphic_n_1458812.html
as a consumer in this wrold, in the real world, now, if you do not want your freedom, that is your choice, but leave Amway alone for those who can understand it.. and can get their own freedom by working hard, side by side with the up and downlines.. for that is all what is Amway, people getting out of the mediocrity of all those traditional piramid schemes on what the whole world markets are operating , some of you in this blog are saying things that are not.. trying to make everyone think that amway is something bad.. you put yourselves on the anti Amway force.. right.. you are being insane , it is like to blame hairdressers for cutting people hair.. Amway pays for product sales performance, only to those people who are good at it, if you were a leader at any other company, would request your team to perform, and there is nothing wrong about it, but when it comes to Amway.. yes .. it hurts, it hurts that anyone, no matter their previous education, race, background, or religion.. they can be diamond, or triple.. or crown.. whatever they like, as much as they like.. now.. can you name one company in the world with a better paying scheme? I doubt it..
"there is no up or down in multi level marketing, everyone starts from the beginning, and those who make it, are the ones who know how to, just listen to those who made it, concentrate in your goals, learn, teach and teach how to teach.. then you will find one day you became emerald.. and helped some many people become diamonds.. your groups will be solid for generations to come.. and you will have all the free time and money that you can imagine.. nah.. no millions.. perhaps those are won by all those people once where listening your conferences.. and trust me, you will feel proud of yourself, and happy for having choose Amway as the real opportunity that is.

    4. Hey Anonymous. Like like like! Yes its very important to spread the word about getting scammed by Amway and hopefully be sharing our stories we'll stop future victims from signing up. For the past few years Amway's sales have been declining by about 10% each year so we're having an impact. And yes Amway Ambots prey on those who can least afford to lose money and go into debt and have their lives destroyed. Good advice if you come across an Amway Ambot - RUN!

    1. Thanks Mike. Fortunately Amway isn't too original and uses the same cities for their functions so I can revamp old posts. I draw in the occasional unsuspecting tourist too.

  3. I did get free 10.00 in slot plays by my vegas hotel and won 300.00. My hotel stay was at the bellagio during off season and was 24.00 a night. Staying near the pool, getting drunk and buffets all day. Any amway meeting would have ruin things lol

    1. Colin you will be the envy of all ambots because what you did they do in reverse. They buy $300 in Amway products and they get back a commission check for $10!

Yup you can still get good deals in Las Vegas. Its been awhile since I got a free hotel room but $24 at the Bellagio is an excellent price.

  5. I am actually planning to trip to Vegas in the fall and I've been looking online for some fun things to do while i'm out there. It's a family trip, so I'm not looking for anything too wild, maybe some nice relaxing pool, or a water park. I do however to sneak away from the family at least one day and take advantage of all of the Las Vegas golf specials I've been reading about online. Have you played any golf in Vegas?

    1. Poor James. Did you ever land on the wrong blog! The only place I played golf in Vegas the Bellagio now stands on the grounds. Have a good trip!

    2. Always fake it till you make it. And letting us know that Ambots still prove that Amway is a blame the victim scam. We didn't do it right? When a system is designed for failure how does one do it right?

  7. I would like to see this literature that says diamonds make 150k /year

Because the current literature from Amway has much different numbers.

And if the current literature is a lie, then someone should call the FTC about it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Erik Walters - I'd like to see that literature too because as pointed out here many times we say "around" 150k cause we're rounding UP to work in easier amounts. The Amway brochure was in the 140's maybe 144k. This year I saw an Amway brochure that said Diamonds make 135k so that's another drop but also added plus up to 120k in additional amounts but didn't specify what that additional amount was but probably that would be their share of the pie in the Amway tool scam.

Instead of showing up here with your snotty snobby Ambot attitude and saying "Because the current literature from Amway has much different numbers." why don't you just tell us the fucking numbers! What are you - a fucking Amway loser! LOL! Fucking arrogant prick! What's the big fucking secret? If you got updated information to share then fucking share it. Don't show up here with the snotty snobby Amway attitude that I know something you don't know. Why do you fucking Ambots do that?

Maybe you're looking at the literature handed out by one of the Amway cult sects like WWDB where they claim Diamonds make hundreds of thousands of dollars. Fucking lying bullshitters that they are.

I don't have the current Amway literature so how would I call the FTC? I mean only a fucking moron would say that. Its not like I give a fuck. I'm sure the FTC gets many complaints about Amway, fines them, and then everyone continues on. Just cause the FTC fines Amway doesn't mean they're going to stop what they're doing. It's cheaper for Amway to pay the fines and continue running their business. You'll notice that the FTC reports Amway is a pyramid scheme so the underlying message to consumers is pyramid schemes are based on lies and scams and if people are stupid enough to get involved with a pyramid scheme that's their problem but don't expect the FTC to do anything. Amway has been declared a legal pyramid scheme by the FTC. That was many years ago like back in the 70s. If you want to make money in a pyramid scheme you should sign up for an illegal pyramid scheme. Chances of making money in a legal pyramid scheme are less than 1%. Chances of making money in an illegal pyramid scheme are better, around 15%.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
