Ambot Dreams Of Peter Island

A reader asks: Can someone tell me what’s the big deal with this ‘Peter Island’ place she keeps mentioning? She has pictures of it in her car along with other things she wishes to buy once she’s made it BIG in the business. She insists Peter Island is where the successful Platinums live now!

Over the years some people mention Peter Island which seems to be the preferred getaway of Amway ambots. Others are asking what the big deal is. A little search on the Internet can get most of the information. It’s a privately owned island in the Carribbean part of the British Virgin Islands chain. The Amway corporatation bought the island in 1978 and in 2001 was transferred to the Van Andel family, coincidentally one of the owners of Amway. There’s a resort there that Amway ambots aspire to vacation at. Nightly room rates range from hundreds a night to over a thousand and up if renting a villa then look at the thousands.

Is it any more expensive than other privately owned resorts in the Caribbean? Here’s a list from Fodor’s http://www.fodors.com/news/story_3559.html with 10 private Carribbean islands and resorts and yes Peter Island is on there. I know that ambots go around bragging that its only available to Amway commissioned salespeople to stay there but it appears that the owners are less discriminatory and willing to take money from anyone who wants to vacation there and seeing as how most people working as lowly paid commissioned salesreps for Amway are broke it would appear the island’s client base for the prices they charge would be the rest of the world. So there’s the link to compare against other private islands for anyone who likes doing that sort of thing.

The part about how this person is quoting an ambot who says successful Platinums all live on Peter Island now? I doubt that successful and Platinum can be used in the same sentence. Platinums might break even but if an Emerald is only making $2 to $3 thousand/month a Platinum won’t be making that much money and it appears that an Emerald would have to spend their entire month’s earnings on a couple of days at Peter Island I doubt they’re living there now.

What seems more likely to me is that Platinums have abandoned whatever they’re doing in the states to take on jobs at Peter Island in housecleaning and food services. Probably pays better than what they’re making as a commissioned salesperson for Amway. Unknown whether or not there are workers accommodations on Peter Island which means that workers might have to commute by boat from one of the other local islands. I imagine that takes a fair chunk out of someone’s paycheck.

Its just my guess but I highly doubt that the owners of Peter Island are allowing a bunch of Platinums to live there on their nickel because a Platinum sure wouldn’t be able to afford it on what Amway pays them.

  1. Hey there Anna,

I must admit I had a bit of laugh this morning. You see, her latest book of the month happened to be "Dynamic people skills" by none other than Dexter Yager himself. The very sound of that name makes me nauseous, but just for shits and giggles, I went on Amazon to see how much this book actually is. Turns out you can get it used for the incredible price of...... 0.01$!!!!! That's right people, ONE PENNY... with about 7$ worth of shipping fees lol.

Anyway, here's the link if you want to see for yourselves:

    Have a good weekend everyone

    1. Hi Tobbi, ambots catch shit from their upline if they dare buy anything like this off Craigslist or Amazon or anywhere else where it's cheaper. Buying from other places doesn't make the upline richer and get their cut of the tool scam profits.

1 cent is a little high priced don't you think for that book?

Hope you have a good weekend too.

    2. Actually, if I was a librairian, I'd actually pay people to help me get rid of those books lol

  2. Working in food services on Peter Island pays better than being a Platinum? Haha right you are Anna I'm sure!

Do you ever look at the various scAmway related clips on youtube? The defenders have all the talking points we know so well. Just recently one of those poor brainwashed souls threw out one of their favorites - a critic was among other things a "dream stealer". Dream stealer?! I wouldn't take the dreams of IBOs if they gave them to me free much less want to steal them!!!

    1. Scrubbing toilets on Peter Island probably pays more than a Platinum too!

Yup sometimes I look around YouTube for videos on Scamway that we can post here.

Ha ha love it about stealing dreams from an Ambot. Who'd want their dreams even if they were for free? Does an Ambot have any dreams other than making the assholes in their Amway upline richer?

  3. This was all around the time of the Quixtar name change and Amway's owners transferring assets to their children to avoid or lessen taxes owed. It doesn't surprise me that Peter Island was part of the redistribution of the wealth. It does surprise me that people in Amway seem ignorant of the ownership because I always heard that Amway owns the island.

    1. Wealth redistribution or tax evasion. Who knows? If some lying Amway asshole tells you Amway owns the island they're lying.

  4. Now platinums are living on peter Island's, that in addition to an anonymouse ambot commenting just recently that now ambots are making it to diamond with a whopping downline numbering (cue the drum roll please) 150 ambots! Boy how I regret quitting! Not! Keep the antics coming ambots I'll promise I'll stay amused.

    2. I'm thinking over time pay for platinums cleaning out toilets. Now that should have them rolling in dough, finally, just like they had always dreamt. No wonder no one wants their dreams.

    3. My diamond who qualified in the early 90s had less than 70 people in a conference room. Was told this is about his entire . People still think he's a diamond lol

    4. ExAmbot - I'm sure there's more money in scrubbing toilets than can be made as an Amway Platinum!

    5. Anonymous - Amway Diamonds pretend to still be Diamond even though they might have fallen out of qualification years earlier. Amway is all about make belief.

    6. I scrub toilets for a living, and I can afford a 2 bedroon apartment, a nice (though) used camaro and to take care of a few pets. all without credit cards, and only a loan for the car. So yes, I get paid much better than a platinum

    7. Hi Nick. No matter what you do for a living life is better when you don't have the Amway cult dragging you down. I bet you're a nicer person than people in Amway. I bet you don't go around lying to people to scam them out of their money like you have to do when you're in Amway. And most importantly you're making more money than a Platinum and putting in less hours than one and not losing money like one! Life is good.

    8. I wouldn't go as far to say I'm a nice person... I mean, I was just gloating like an asshole

    9. Nick - at least you're a nicer person than people in Amway!

  5. Things may have changed but if I understood it correctly, Amway offers a free trip to Peter Island each year for people who qualify at the diamond level. It is not exclusively for Amway people. I believe anyone who can foot the bill can go and vacation there.

I think the Amway folks aspire to go there are "diamonds".

    1. Joecool - I think lowly ambots aspire to go to Peter Island too so they can rub shoulders with the bigwig Diamonds who are there all the time or so they think. Could be free trips involved. Or discounted vacations but probably not for anyone lower than Diamond.

  6. This is unrelated to the post, but this is something I have been noticing lately. I'm the college student who for about 9 months fell into this scam and finally dropped out after attending FED last month.

There are a few Ambots on my campus but not too many. Our meetings are not very well attended, and it's funny because the speakers that I saw here always talked about what great momentum we had and how Amway is growing at a rate that no business has ever seen before and that a college is a perfect place to recruit because of all the college kids who want to make money. What they really mean is that a college campus is the idea place to prospect because of all the suckers who will do anything. And yes I was one of those suckers.

I interacted a little bit with the ambots on my campus but not too much because none of them were in my LOS. I know who they are, but I wouldn't know their names. But anyways, when I see them around they are always wearing their suit and tie, no matter what day it is or the time of day. I guess you always need to dress up if you're an ambot just in case you run into your next diamond. Seriously, I can't imagine what would turn a prospect off more than going everywhere dressed up. I would imagine that most people they live near want to stay as far away as possible.

    1. Wearing business suits somewhere you wouldn't normally see them is a sure sign that someone is either a geek or in an MLM! Last week I'm sitting outside Starbucks with 2 friends and 3 guys in their 20s wearing suits are there too but they get up and leave at 7pm. I watch where they go in the parking lot and it's some crummy little car they get into and when they drive off I can see the brake light is burnt out. Yup that screams Amway. Gotta get to the meeting ahead of the other 8pm warriors to show you're a serious business builder, driving a clunker, and wearing suits.

    2. When i was in college my upline diamond told people he built this business living in his parents home. That even after making emerald he still continued living at home with his folks. All this nonsense about delayed gratification etc. Told his group of young single men to continue to live at home till they are near diamond lol. So does this mean Emerald and below make such a shitty income they cant afford to move out?

      Delete
    3. Hi Anonymous. Lots of people in our upline still lived at home with their mommy and daddy and they sure weren't Diamonds. When you're in a cult and have to hand over all kinds of money and go into debt to tithe your cult leaders you can't afford to live on your own. And yes I'd say you're right if you aren't at least an Emerald you can't afford to move out. And maybe not even then. Unless you have another source of income that can support your living expenses and your Scamway addiction.

  7. What a generation of freaking weenies! I couldn't wait to turn 18 or graduate from high school to move the hell out. All of my brothers and sisters and everyone I knew in high school felt the same way. It's all we talked about. We didn't whine about not making enough money. We worked as many jobs as it took and we moved in with as many roommates as necessary. We didn't suck from mommmy and daddy and destroy their future. No, we had/have a spine and were willing to do the grimy work it took to be independent.

I cleaned toilets at a hotel, washed dishes at a Pizza Hut (all the while waiting for my chance to promote to waitress), and bussed tables at a high-end restauant, and on weekends, did yard work for people. I was freaking determined to never move home. Hell, it wasn't even an option. Our parents would have been disgusted had we moved back home. It just wasn't done. They expected us to grow the hell up.

And just in case you think somehow it was easy back then (the mid 1970's), we were in a terrible recession. Gas lines (for those who had cars) were outrageous. My brother walked door-to-door and shoveled snow after his 4 years in the military to keep from moving home.

    Yup, I'm a gal, and even I could beat up today's girly-men.

    1. Cassette Tape - I'm with you. I couldn't wait to move out. I was gone shortly after graduation and I worked hard at multiple jobs to afford where I was living. These days I know so many people whose adult children are still living at home and it's causing them financial hardships.

This generation, combined with being in Amway, still living at home with mommy and daddy and they think they're big time successful business owners. They don't know shit!

    2. LOL and I bet those ungrateful idiots think of their parents as losers because they don't "own a business" like they do. Seriously, if I was one of their parents and I was still working my ass off to house and feed them, and they showed their gratitude by calling me a loser, they'd be out of the house.

I'm in college, and I still move back home during winter break and the summer because I have a couple good jobs back home that pay well and keep me busy for most of the week. I have a couple jobs at school too, but there's not nearly as much work in the summer so it would be foolish for me to stay in my college town in Nowheresville, America year round.

But I am going to be a house owner as of next summer so things are going to change a lot. Thank God I'm not throwing money at Amway anymore so I'll actually be able to afford it.

    3. Hi Anonymous. We had a reader leave a comment that she kicked her Ambot son out because of his shitty attitude to them. Calling his father a loser and putting him down because he wasn't a business owner. They did the right thing with the tough love. And then they threw out the SA8 so when the son came over to do laundry he had to use their Tide! Ha ha ha!!!

And good on you for the not too distant plans to be a homeowner. It's really hard to be a homeowner and be in Scamway because the assholes in the Amway upline are always counselling homeowners to sell the house and rent somewhere and use the equity to invest in their Amway business. If that doesn't work they'll counsel the homeowner to skip mortgage payments to be able to attend Amway functions. And god help you if the air conditioning craps out or you need a new roof cause there's no money for that not when you could be spending that money buying Amway products and tools.

  8. Oh my goodness I needed this laugh.......Ambots...Scamway...all true. All of the idiots are waiting for the day they hit it big and nobody tells them it is not going to happen. I was never so miserable in my life during the time we were in "the business". My poor husband took their bait hook, line, and sinker until 1 day I pulled him out of it. The uplines are nothing more than idiots controlled by the bigger idiots.
The worst of it all is when they would try to break you up from seeing your families, they are heartless, broke asses that need to just go away.

    1. Hi Unknown- it looks like you and I had similar experiences and we get it what it's like being married to an Ambot and going through the most miserable time of our life. Glad you're enjoying the blog. This is where we have fun turning the tables in those Amway assholes and insulting them and cursing them out. Maybe we can bring some misery to their lives for a change!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
