Amway Mantra: Find People Who Want To Save Money (LOL!!!!)

“We want to show you how to save money buying from your own shop and then you find other people who want to save money and teach them how to set up their own shops so they can save money too.”

I heard that phrase many times - or similar wording - at every Amway meeting I attended.

The statement sounds reasonable enough. Shop from your own store and save money buying products that you would purchase anyway. Yeah, sounds good. Everyone wants to save money and get good deals on products they regularly purchase.

The problem is our upline bullied Ambot into changing his spending habits to buy shit that we never bought before, shit that I didn’t like, and often we didn’t end up using. He didn’t save money while in the Amway cult because he spent way more money than if he’d purchased comparably priced products at the grocery and drug store. And we ended up wasting money by throwing out a bunch of useless, shitty Amway products.

How is that saving us money? We’re spending hundreds of dollars a month on Amway products that we’ve never had on our shopping list. Energy drinks, food bars, bottled water, and vitamins to mention a few.

I don’t consider myself an avid shopper but I hit the drug stores and grocery stores enough times that I have a good idea of prices and quality and good value.

Ambot does not. Oh he might spot a good deal and stock up on the item but for the most part he doesn’t know how much things cost at the store.

He blindly accepted the upline’s (bad) advice that Amway’s products would save us money and these items were better quality than what could be purchased at the local retailers and that he should buy, buy, buy! He MUST be his own best customer. Including himself and a few occasional pity purchasers out of his customer base – sure he was his own best customer.

Because of the upline’s influence over Ambot being  his own best customer I got stuck using inferior products that did not save us money.

The real damage with the “save money” by shopping at your own store philosophy is IBO’s like Ambot do not do price comparisons with other retailers and overspend by buying stuff that they normally would not have purchased.

I know how to save money when I’m shopping. Its by having a good idea of what the prices are of groceries and sundries that I regularly purchase at the grocery and drug stores and recognizing when something is on sale at a decent enough price to buy it. Then I watch the flyers and when I see something on sale that I regularly purchase I stock up. If I see something in the flyer that’s a good price but its not something I need - I don’t buy it. See? Saving money?

I save a lot of money now that we don’t have to buy overpriced shitty Amway products.

    2. Now which is it? Do we do like we're told by Dave Severn, i.e., "Hold a mirror under their nose and if it fogs, show 'em the plan!"??? OR the one they spout when they are feeling like insulting the audience? "What are you doing showing this business to those who don't qualify?"

What? How in the world does someone 'qualify' to hear the plan? You will be so desperate to get a warm body, you will show the neighbor's dog, if necessary.

    3. Ha ha very true! Our former Platinum said he used to show the plan to his cats to get practice but I think he signed them up as customers so they could by their own cat food! I'm sure the cats slept through the bored plan anyway.

  2. Anna, the audience loses either way. Do we not prejudge or do we prequalify? You can't win for losing. I always felt like I 'missed it again.'

We would go out like a house-a-fire and do precisely what they taught us from stage, and when it didn't bring in the numbers, they would act all astonished, like, how the hell did you mess that up? WE didn't 'mess up' anything. WE did as were were told, b/c by golly, we are CORE and do whatever our upline instructs us to do.

After years of it, I walked. My finances were instantly relieved. My home, instantly happier. My headaches, gone!

    1. You're right. And when you question why you're not making the expected income the upline assholes find some way to blame you like you're not working hard enough. Amway is a blame the victim scam in a "business" designed for failure.

Yes instant happiness and getting your life and finances back in order once Amway gets the boot.

    1. Hi Kim. There's been many children of ambots who show up here to tell what its like having their parents love Amway more than them. Any cult would be the same story. Glad you're enjoying the blog. Theres a few contributors but bottom line is we all have the same story. We all had our lives screwed up by Amway the cult of greed.

    1. I suppose this scammer figures if folks will fall for the bullshit Amway scam, they may as well believe that some schmuck looking at the "stars" can have all the answers, too.

    2. Hey Ayush you got competition from Ambots. They're all experts at astrology too. Once you get an IBO card in addition to being a card carrying Amway asshole it also means you're an automatic expert in everything.

    3. Anonymous - there are some people out there who seem to be respected as astrologers and figuring things out by how the stars are aligned. Personally it doesn't do anything for me but I think there are some out there who wouldn't be regarded as scammers - probably not Ayush! Unlike people in Amway, none of whom could be considered not a scammer. LOL!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
