My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

Amway Ambot Lifestyle, Lack Of Money And Lack Of Time
10 comments:
Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
Anna, this is truly shocking. I knew of course that Amway was a stupid scam, but what you have described about its total control and domination of the lives of its members is really an eye-opener.
ReplyDeleteLoss of one's job, financial desperation, unending repetition of a cycle of bad choices, denial about the true nature of one's enslavement, and above all the steady and relentless hemorrhaging of money, money, money...
It sounds EXACTLY like a serious case of drug addiction!
The term "ambot" of course means Amway robot. But we could also start calling the poor deluded members of the Amway Cult "Amway junkies." Like junkies, they are hooked on something destructive and ultimately suicidal.
Hi Anonymous. Once you get inside the Amway cult everything is shocking. The way the cult leaders demand their followers time and money, the back and forth abuse and then "we still love you" bullshit from the Amway cult leaders is true evil.
DeleteAnd as you pointed out Amway is very much like a drug addiction. Spending time with the other ambot addicts and blowing all your money plus going into debt to buy more overpriced shitty Amway products.
There should be a recovery program for former ambots. Failing that there's this blog!
I have read that if you are in Amway your up-line can dictate when and if you can have sex! Sometimes (I'm told) up-line will forbid spouses to have sexual relations until they reach a certain PV level. Can this possibly be true? What free-born human being would accept this?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - the assholes in the Amway upline do want to know about this because its just another way to control their cult followers. Our sack of shit Platinum forbid one guy to get his wife pregnant ie no sex. Anyway she eventualy had a baby and the sack of shit was outraged they or at least the ambot disobeyed in the sex thing. On the other hand Ambots are never home. Always out late at Amway meetings, no time for sex. And gor women Amway is a huge turn off so I'd say most Ambots aren't getting laid anyway.
DeleteAmway addiction seems to be very similar to gambling addiction. The attraction (addiction) is being "in the action". Since everything in the Amway cult is extremely contrived to keep the money flowing upline the cult leaders nurture that MethAMphetaWAY high to keep the Ambot up late at night and hooked for as long as possible to keep the pyramid from collapsing. Hence the meetings, functions, brainwashing, bells and whistles and the feeling of "Success is just around the corner". And just like any other drug ring the money flows upward. The biggest difference is that the more conventional drug dealers don't preach about God while doing it. Don't experiment with Amway, not even one time.
ReplyDeleteAnd trying to reason with someone addicted to Amway is like reasoning with someone addicted to drugs. They get defensive, snappy, irritated, close-minded and seek out other junkies to associate with who enable their addiction.
DeleteAnonymous - although Amway is simar to an addiction its not quite the same. 95% IBO's quit within 2 years and I doubt the success rate is that high for drugs, alcohol, gambling. Those other addictions have 12 step programs or counselling available to addicts. Nothing for Amway addicts amd I think the owners should have that kind of program. They'll never do it though. Greedy bastards.
DeleteAnonymous 2 - yup similar symptoms. Some other addictions are genetic. Maybe Amway too.
DeleteTen to one some stupid ambots will show up here to argue that addiction to Amway is somehow "good" or "positive'"or "liberating."
DeleteThe Ambots who like to get cursed out will show up here. The ones who waste their time thinking I'll discuss their pretend business when I don't give a shit are disappointed. If they want to curse put the fucking assholes in their Amway upline then they're in the right place.
