As for the program itself, I was totally committed to making it work because it was so damned expensive! I could have paid a whole year's gym membership for that money. Unfortunately, despite all my determination (and all that money) I gained 5kg then lost 4kg of it over the 2 months on the program. I consider it a big fail... but lesson learnt.
My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

Amway Diet – Trim, Body Key, Healthpointe…..

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
Hard to believe anyone would buy this fake dietary plan. But Amway "true believers" will shell out any sum of money for something if it has been blessed by those thieves in Ada, Michigan.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes -- those fat-assed, jowly diamonds at Amway meetings are hardly a good advertisement for Amway's nutritional regimen. But maybe they're too busy spreading the word about Scamway to diet properly..
LOL! Its kind of like that diet plan with a well known actress on TV commercials who loses weight & packs on the pounds again. Not every plan works for everyone but the Amway plan in more ways than one not just talking diet works for barely anyone.
DeleteThis isn't directly related to your post, but it is about Amway, and boy does Amway really piss me off - not their stupid pyramid scheme system, I was always to smart to fall for that, but the fact that they were authorized a $1.6 million GRANT (not a tax credit, a straight up grant, all in the name of job creation and I can't imagine jobs associated with packing boxes of their crap in a warehouse pay that well and offer much for long-term development) and failed to meet the goal of creating 60 new jobs.
ReplyDeleteAn excerpt from the article:
"Meanwhile, the down year also contributed to Amway missing its job-creation milestones spelled out in the $1.6 million performance-based grant it was awarded through the Michigan Business Development Program. The grant was intended to support the conversion of the company’s Spaulding Avenue warehouse into a nutritional products manufacturing facility. When it was announced in May 2012, the $81 million project was expected to create 180 new jobs. The company needed to hire 60 people by April 30, 2014 to make its first milestone for the grant, but it had only hired 44 as of Jan. 27 of this year after an investment of $75.7 million."
Fortunately, Amway hasn't actually gotten any of the grant money yet and probably won't until the goal is met. But why does a billion dollar company need free government money at all for "creating jobs" that would probably have been created anyway, and they are lousy jobs at that?
Here's a link to the article if you want to read it all:

Hi Charlie. Sounds like another scam that Amway is running. Good thing they didn't get the grant money yet. And as you said why do they need a grant anyway the way we have Ambots showing up here and bragging about all the billions of dollars Amway makes every year. Amway has really low qualifications for hiring people. Nasty bastards that don't give a shit apply to Amway. Also the inability to string a sentence together is one of their job qualifications so its not too hard for anyone to get a job there. Its a really shitty company to work for judging by complaints of staff and former staff who've left comments about low pay and no benefits and stuck up supervisors. I can see why long term employee retention is tough for Scamway. And how embarrassing it is to admit to others that you're working there. Yeah that grant application just looks like another way Amway is scamming money. I wonder if they made a rush to hire 16 more people by the deadline.
DeleteAmway gets these lucrative government grants because it doles out cash contributions to many persons in the government and in government bureaucracies. It bribes officials and functionaries to approve whatever the Amway bigshots want.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's what Amway apologists mean by "free enterprise" -- the ability to suck taxpayer money from the govrenment, and then claim that it was all a result of your business acumen.
AMWAY IS LEGALIZED THEFT.
Anonymous - pretty much everyone involved in illegal activities is bribing authorites. And you're right. Scamway is legalized theft. And a lot more bad things!
