Amway Products Are TOO Expensive

Who remembers going to Amway meetings and hearing the cult leader brainwashing and bullshitting the followers who are having difficulty overcoming customer objections to buying Amway products because the price is too high.

And who remembers the lying scamming fucking Amway asshole who has the canned Amspeak response for everything saying something like: “Amway’s products are priced high to reflect their high quality.”

LOL! Bullshit!

Amway does NOT sell high quality products. Compare to similar stores sold in the retail stores Amway’s products are grossly overpriced, they’re usually substandard or generic at best compared with similar lower priced products sold everywhere else.

I never believed the bullshit from the fucking assholes in our Amway upline about how Amway’s high prices reflect their high quality. I know good quality and I know bad quality and I can tell the difference pretty damn quick by trying the product myself.

I mean I am scared shitless to try energy drinks because the fucking assholes in our Amway upline said XS is the best energy drink out there. XS tastes like cat piss or depending on the flavor maybe a combo of cat piss and the worst cough medicine out there. If that’s the best energy drink in the world then damn right I’m scared shitless to try any other brand because what if. I mean just what if this is the one rare time when those fucking assholes in our Amway upline weren’t lying and there are actually energy drinks out there that taste worst than Amway’s XS piss water.

Amway’s high quality LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL have got nothing to do with why their products are so high priced. It’s all got to do with profit and commission.

Let’s take the $20 lipstick Amway sells. It costs about $1 to make lipstick and that includes the packaging. Compare to Avon where I can buy a $3 lipstick and there are lots of color choices. Amway only offers about 5 shades. Maybe more now but I doubt it. So what’s the better deal. Avon of course. And Avon wins everytime when comparing their products to Amway’s. Avon has better prices, better quality, and better selection. The only people buying Amway’s lipstick are female Ambots or the wives of Ambots. They probably have poor decision making abilities too. When you only have 5 colors to choose from it shouldn’t take too long to make a decision.

But go back to Amway’s $20 lipstick and my hypothetical guess at how the dollars are distributed though I’m probably pretty close. After manufacturing that leaves $19 proceeds. Amway’s owners need to jack up the price so they can make a hefty profit plus every little thing they sale must have a portion going to their overall operating expenses. So out of that $19 let’s say Amway’s owners take $15. They put a bit of that back into their business operating expenses but mostly its split between the owners. There’s a reason why one of Amway’s owners is on Forbes top 100 richest families in America and making a good profit hiking up the price on budget products. That leaves $4. Is that the commission for the Ambot at the bottom of the pyramid who made the sale? Hell no! That’s communal commission split many ways. The guy doing all the hard work making the sale only makes pennies. Let’s say the Amway commissioned salesman makes 6 cents after busting his ass begging and pleading with some woman he knows to buy his overpriced shitty Amway lipstick. The rest of that $4 is split in commission in everyone in his Amway upline because that’s how this scam works. Ambots way high up in the pyramid that he’s never met are making money off his sale. And because they have a higher BV they’re making more commission that that loser ambot who made the sale! LOL! Surely those dumb fucks who want to be commissioned sales reps can find a better paying job than Scamway.

The high price does NOT reflect Amway’s high quality. It reflects how many people have to get a piece of the sale’s action.

The same scenario can be played out whether its Amway’s $40 laundry soap or $100 vitamins. Again products that don’t cost a whole lot to manufacture including the packaging. But Amway’s owners take a huge chunk of each sale for their profit and the balance is left over for commission for everyone in the upline of the jackass Ambot who made the sale.

So there you have it. The next time a lying scamming fucking Amway asshole tries to bullshit you that Amway’s products are priced so high to reflect their high quality tell the bastard the real reason. The products have to be so high priced so everyone can get a piece of the commission and Amway owners can make a huge profit of the sale. It ain’t got piss all to do with quality because the quality of Amway’s products is the shits and if they were really priced to reflect the quality Amway wouldn’t sell nothing that costs more than a buck..

  1. Amway sales are like a pimple on Walmart's butt in comparison and there's a reason for that. Walmart sells over 40 times as much as Amway because its products offer far better value for the consumer. I couldn't find Amway 2015 sales (they probably don't want to reveal it as they took a dive in 2014) but Amway sold $10.8 billion in 2014 compared to over $473 billion for Walmart which increased to over $482 billion in 2015. Walmart pays less than Amway to buy or manufacture their wholesale product because they deal in much larger volume and have less overhead to pass on because they are not paying commissions to non productive dinosaurs at the top of an outdated MLM pyramid. Amway doesn't have a chance to compete with Walmart's bang for the buck to the consumer. Thus, the only people buying Amway are sucker IBOs buying from their own overpriced "store" and pity purchases by friends and relatives of poor Ambot.

    1. Hi Ray - to find the info you're looking for try some of these words in a search engine: Amway sales 2015 9.5 billion. Amway's taking a dive of about 10% every year for the past few years. Oh dear whatever will Amway do? How about raising all the prices and gouging Ambots even more?

  2. There are advantages of Amway products you should not overlook. Only five shades of lipstick makes it easier to spot an Ambot wife. Cat piss breath makes it easy to know when you're talking to an Ambot.

  3. You know, Ambots always disparage the word "status," claiming that it is a stupid idea. They say it stands for "Still Too Arrogant To Understand Success."

But if you are crazy enough to spend twenty bucks (!) for a goddamned tube of crummy lipstick, what else is motivating you except a hunger for status?

You're saying to the world, "I appreciate high quality, and I'm willing to pay for it!" For something as trivial as a tube of lipstick, that is nothing but pure status-seeking.

Come on, Ambots! Let's hear you come up with a defense for a twenty-dollar tube of lipstick. We're all waiting!

    1. Anonymous - there's no defense. Ambots buy $20 lipstick for the PV and to help them reach 100 to qualify for a $10 check from Amway that month. Something only a brainwashed Ambot would do.

      Delete
    3. Hi Unknown. Thanks for the update. It costs about $2 to make a tube of lipstick including the packaging. In Amway the prices are so high because whenever the little guy at the bottom of the pyramid makes a sale everyone upline also makes a percentage of commission. Then you have to add in Amway's owners making a hefty profit for each sale. That's why Amway's lipstick and all their other products are crazy expensive because so many people get a chunk of the profits.

  5. On the rare occasion that an Amway product has even significant enough of a market presence to be reviewed by Consumer Reports, along with its competing products, it never scores very high, despite one of the highest products in its category. What little experience I had with trying Amway products was comparable to using the discontinued and overstocked products sold in dollar stores. I was turned off pretty damn quick. I suppose a pro-Amway person might say I didn't try Amway products enough to give an honest opinion about them. But if people are turned off by them so quickly, there products will never sell very well except to the idiotic distributors trying to sell them. I don't know how this would ever be tracked, but I remember reading that only 18% of all Amway products are sold to non-Amway IBOs.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Charles. Anytime I've seen an Amway product as part of a test sampling from a valid source such as a well known magazine or TV program, they score very low. Mostly due to the high price tag and the product is always generic or substandard. Ambots wish that 18% of Amway products are sold to people not registered as an IBO. The last time someone uploaded Amway's annual report online the number was less than 4%, like 3.6%. So much for when all the IBO's quit they don't keep buying those "fine" LOL Amway products.

  6. The fact is that Ambots will say ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING in order to appear to have "answered" a critic. They grasp at straws, and make pointless remarks that are inapposite to the question at hand.

They are carefully coached by up-line to do this. Under no circumstances are they to allow a criticism of Amway to go "unanswered." That's why so much of their argumentation appears to be "canned" -- i.e. learned by rote in advance.

You sound like the world's biggest penny pincher. If Amway is not for you, ok that is fine nobody has a gun to your head. Don't sit there and write a whole opinionated blog just because Amway didn't work for you. Some people make a really good living working with Amway. Some people also make some really good friends and learn solid leadership skills as well. Every other word in this blog is a curse word. You seem like the type that hates their own existence. My advice to you would be to go see a therapist and learn to love yourself. Makes no sense how one can be filled with so much hate! You act as if Amway kidnapped your child or something. I better not ever catch you buying popcorn at a movie theatre or anything inside of a movie theatre because you could get it way cheaper outside of the theatre.

I better not every catch you buying name brand shoes because you can get shoes way cheaper at payless. I better not catch you buying Advil or Tylenol because up&up is way cheaper.

I can go on forever, but hopefully you get the point by now. Just cause you do not have what it takes to be successful at something. It does not give you the right to try to stop talented individuals from making a living.

I know your type your the loud mouth girl who sits around and gossips and complains all day, then you wonder why you always under perform at everything you do. If you spend half as much energy working as you did whining all the time you would probably be able to make a decent living for yourself.

Don't blame the company for your shortcomings or lack of effort and/or skill. Just move on with life and stop dwelling!

It is not like Amway is a money pit or anything. You do nothing you get nothing. There are no monthly fees or any hidden fees associated with the plan what so ever. And you can also quit whenever you want. It's that simple, but idiots like you try to make it more complicated than it is.

Your whole argument is based on opinion, no facts. So how about you go run off and cry and whine to someone who actually is willing to listen you your annoying ass! I guess that's why you turned to the internet cause even your own husband (if you even have one) is annoyed with you!

Successful people tend to make the best out of every situation no matter the hand that was dealt to them.

So keep writing and blaming Amway for ruining your lives like the pathetic losers you both are. Like I said earlier Amway does not force anyone to buy anything neither should the people representing Amway. Sorry you had such a bad experience, but stop assuming that everyone has had the same experience as you did. Just cause your upline may have been trash does not mean the same for everyone else involved.

I'm a professor at a major university in New York, and my net worth is over a million dollars. If it comforts you to imagine that I am a "loser," go right ahead and keep on dreaming. Anna Banana runs a major business that gives her an income right up there with an Amway "Diamond." Call her a "loser" too if it comforts you.

We're not talking about Amway wrecking our lives. We're talking about how it has wrecked (and is still wrecking) the lives of thousands of its IBOs. Have you read the fine print in the Amway literature, where it says that close to 99% of Amway participants never make any money AT ALL?

    I guess you missed that.

You're also a goddamned LIAR if you say that Amway doesn't force its IBOs to buy anything. Have you tried telling your up-line that you don't want to attend functions? Or that you don't want CommuniKate? Or that you won't sign up for Standing Order to get tools? Or that you prefer getting your cleansing products from the supermarket? Who the hell do you think you're kidding?

Amway sucks fees out of its members like a vampire sucks blood from his victims. You know that very well. But since you are a liar, you have to try and pretend that the truth isn't the truth.

Yeah he's just the usual Amway Ambot that shows up here screeching out abuse. There's worse Amway assholes out there who've left comments on here spouting off their usual negative Amway bullshit.

And yup people getting word out on the Internet helps others not to get recruited into the Amway cult. And that pisses off the current flock of Ambots when they can't sign up any suckers.

    2. I have my own business and I just joined Amway and the uplines continuously ask you to go to the meetings and try take people to sign under you. The pressure is real. I didn't know that is difficult to return the products.

    3. Hi Unknown. So do you own a real business or do you "own" LOL an Amway business? Because unless your last name is VanAndel or DeVos you do NOT own an Amway business. But it never ceases to amaze me how many Ambots are brainwashed to believe they do own an Amway business.

Do you like working for a company that pressures you to go to meetings and sign up people under you? It's really hard to sign up one person in your downline. People go online and research Amway and stay away.

It is very difficult to return Amway products. Amway cult leaders will lie to you at Amway cult meetings that their products have 6 month refund policy or whatever bullshit they're slinging but only a handful of Amway products are eligible for that and probably not the ones you're buying. As you'll find out when you try to get a refund.

Do yourself a favor. Quit before Amway brings more emotional and financial distress to your life. It's really fucking embarrassing to tell people you're involved with Amway. Do you want everyone laughing at you because you're an Amway loser?

  17. Dear Minneapolis asshole --

Don't be so upset. Just take a couple of aspirin and lie down. Then call your up-line and make a good confession, saying how sorry you are that you violated the Amway rules by coming here.

  18. I used to like buying some of their products b/c they were concentrated and actually worked very well, but lately the prices have skyrocketed and I can no longer afford them. Here are some examples (at IBO cost, without shipping and tax, which is extra): Amway Laundry Detergent=$40.44 @ 150 loads,$0.27 per use // Sam's Club Member's Mark Active Clean Detergent=$16.98 @ 130 loads, $0.13 per use; Tide Pods from Sam's= $29.98 @ 152 loads, $.020 per use. Amway Automatic Dish Tablets= $21.08 @ 60 uses, $0.35 per use. Sam's Member's Mark Automatic Dishwasher Pacs, $9.98 @ 105 count, $0.10 per use; Cascade from Sam's, $11.98 @ 105 count, $0.11 per use. XS Energy Drinks 8.4 oz cans, $24.24 per 12 pack case, $2.02 per drink. $0.24 per fluid oz. Sugar Free Red Bull 8.4 oz from Amazon, $35.99 per 24 pack case, $1.46 per can, $0.18 per fluid oz. IBO costs per use from Amway used to be a lot better deal but prices have tremendously inflated. I can save more money by going to Sam's Club, Walmart, and/or Amazon per month than the average IBO gets in a commission check. Sad for them, good for me and my family. Why would anyone want to pay double, triple, quadruple the price, especially when trying to provide for a family. If Amway is going to be in business, at least be competitive. I believe, the only reason they are making money now is they are expanding in areas of the world that's new to Amway, like central America, South America, etc. Once those countries have been saturated, then it's downhill. I have nothing negative to say against some of the people in Amway. My good friend, who is a great guy does it and is successful, so hats off to him. The Van Andle family contributed to building a Ronald McDonald House that allowed my family to stay in while my daughter had heart surgeries. I hope that a lot of the old time scamming people who deceive people through books, tapes, meetings, etc all fall out of the business and Amway turns over a new leaf and starts building its business w/ integrity and fairness.

    1. Hi Anonymous. I'm not sure what products Amway carries that you think works well. It doesn't take much effort to find a similar product sold in the mainstream retail force that is much cheaper and works much better than anything Amway sells. Concentrated products like soap have been around long before Amway.

As you figured out with your cost comparisons. Sometimes we do them here. But more importantly consumer reporting magazines also have included Amway products in their tests with the results being that Amway products are generic at best and generally substandard compared to the competition and Amway's products are much higher priced.

If you've noticed Amway's already overpriced products have recently skyrocketed (LOL!) its got to do with their falling profits over the past few years due to dwindling membership in their cult. I guess Amway's plan to counteract that was to jack up the prices even more.

Don't let the Van Andel family bullshit you into thinking they're doing good compared to looking for ways to get tax breaks for charitable donations. They also contribute quite heavily to a charity whose name escapes me but something like Family First whose organization is all about what they consider a traditional family. In other words if you live an alternate lifestyle or you're not a heterosexual man/woman couple Amway and their owners do not want anything to do with you. Bunch of bigots.

  19. The price of Amway products has indeed skyrocketed. The losses of profit in the North American market are the reason.

And why has Amway lost so much of the North American market? Simple -- blogs like this tell the truth about the goddamned Amway rip-off.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Yeah I'd say so. To both. Loss of profits = jack up the prices to fleece the Ambots even more. And blogs like this getting the word out about being scammed by Amway.

  20. MLM products are rised by commissions and capped by market.(the models told).
Both Nutrilite and Artistry Lines have a similar(same feature) competitors on store shelfs or online markets. But usually store/online markets have lower prices. So... Dont buy from Amway friends because you are supporting mlm upline...not your friend

    1. Hi Esplosive Mosfet. You got it. Everything that Amway sells a similar product can be purchased in the grocery or drug stores for much cheaper and much better quality. Amway has to jack up the prices so the owners make a good profit and so everyone higher up in the pyramid can make money off anything the low life Ambots sell.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
