Ambots in Colombia?

Hi Anna,

I was searching for google for an Amway symbol and I found this page. I have read your posts and I see that you have a real bad image of Amway/Quixtar whatever. I really would like to discuss with you what your thoghts and your opinions are but without the bad words. I don´t know if you´ll respond me but I am going to make a request: whatever you criticise, you must at least not do it. You were talking about how Amway IBOs have a bad attitude and you were having it us well. Here in my country, all the ABOs who are succesful have good attitudes and respect everyone who doesn´t want to join because it´s a life choice, and also I haven´t met the first person who got robbed doing this. I´ve met people who thought it was too challenging or got out because they didn´t get results as fast as they wanted them, but a penny was never taken away. I know it because in my organization there are people who after buying 5k in products have returned them and gotten every cent back. So I´d like to discuss the subject with you if you are willing to have an open mind. And please stop giving it such a bad name. Life always gives you back what you give out, so I´d advise you to stop giving a bad name to the company, you don´t know when you are going to get paid with

 that same medicine.

Well Manuel, I hope you come back to read. I had enough to say to you that I didn’t want to leave it in the comments box in case it was missed and because I thought others might like to read this.

Searching for an Amway symbol and you found my blog? As if I need any further proof that Married To An Ambot is high on the search engines! Amway’s got somewhere in their terms and conditions that if you are an Amway IBO that you can not download and use any of their stuff unless you have their written permission because presumably you will be using the image to earn money.

If you’re not an IBO the rules don’t apply! Unless of course you’re using an Amway image to make money then Amway would want their piece of the pie - what else is new! Images that are put out on the public domain known as the Internet are up for grabs unless people are downloading them for commercial purposes to make money then the owner of said image would like to receive some payment. Manuel, don’t worry if you break Amway’s rules. Amway doesn’t give a shit if their IBO’s violate their policies. I’ve reported our upline and they didn’t do nothing. So I’m sure you will be quite safe to use any Amway symbol that you want even if someone reports you nothing will happen.

My blog exists mainly to curse out my Amway upline and seeing as how Amway’s employees are a reflection of the company itself they get dragged down too. Amway doesn’t do anything to clean up its act. Amway/Quixtar already had a bad reputation many years before I came on the scene!

No, I have no interest in talking to you or any other current brainwashed ambot. Its the equivalent of banging my head against the wall. You ambots have a canned Amspeak response for everything.

Me talk without “bad” words! Ha ha ha!!! You should be in a car with me and hear my running commentary of all the other drivers on the road! Yup I am probably the one who flipped you off!

You can request all you want that I shouldn’t criticize my upline or Amway but it won’t do you no good. I don’t know what the laws are in your country but here we have something called freedom of speech. It is not against the law to tell the truth or to have an opinion. Amway might not like that I tell the truth about what its like being in their cult and they might not be happy about my opinion on their overpriced shitty products but I am hardly the first person to come along and say similar things.

As for buying $5k in products and then returning them for a refund, you’re a little late to hop on that bus. Our upline and many IBO’s have been doing that for years for amounts between $5 and $25k. They buy as much stuff as they can on their credit card then return it and get a refund and then they show the check from Amway around to their downline and claim it was a bonus they got.

I have been to Colombia and I think it is sick and disgusting that this evil called Amway has infiltrated your country. There are so many poor people in Colombia and then an ambot comes along and tells them that Amway is their path out of poverty and it won’t happen for them because only a fraction of 1% of IBO’s make money in Amway. Its all about selling the hope not the soap. Your fellow citizens will be in worse shape than they were before and all because they believed a liar who told them that Amway would bring them riches. Amway is a recruiting scam pyramid scheme. I’m  not sure what kind of business plan they show in Colombia but here they show a plan where you eat one Amway food bar and drink one Amway drink daily and find 6 others to do what you do and they find 6 others and so on and so on. Nowhere in the business plan does it give instructions on finding customers and selling Amway products at retail prices. Pyramid scheme!

I have met the warmest people ever in Colombia always smiling and friendly and willing to speak a little slower so the gringa can understand. They will invite you to share a meal with them even if its all the food they have.

I have also encountered the most agressive vendors I’ve seen anywhere. I mean how many times can I tell the guy with the cooler no thank you I don’t want to buy a beer for $2. I don’t drink beer. I say it in English and Spanish and the guy still wants me to take a $2 cerveza off his hands. What about the vendor selling hats who follows me down the street trying to get me to buy one when clearly I am already wearing a hat on my head. I can imagine what it would be like if these vendors are out on the street selling Amway shit!

And now for my readers who haven’t traveled to Colombia, here is some reality for you. Many of this country’s citizens live in hovels constructed of whatever materials they are able to scrounge up and they live in communities in vacant lots, beside swampy canals, and in the jungle.

Some nicer living accomodations for the more wealthy.

The owner of this house must have some money. They can afford a fence and gate around their house.

Here’s a place to go if your car breaks down and you need a mechanic. Looks like there are some used tires for sale!

The owner of this fine eating establishment lost all his money in Amway and had to close!

Can’t afford an ambot shitmobile? Take a donkey to the Amway meeting. Some would call this a shitmobile too!

After looking at those pictures - how many of my readers think its likely that there are a lot of people in Colombia capable of putting together $5k to spend on Amway products - refund or not?

Similarities between Amway and Colombia? Both known for selling a white powder that ultimately brings misery to the lives it touches - financially, physically, and emotionally.

Who remembers Quixtar?

A few years ago Amway changed its name to Quixtar. I’m not sure when but I’ll throw out 2000 give or take a couple of years. I know our first round of Amway hell in 2000 the name was Quixtar but I don’t know for sure when the name change happened because it was already in effect.

There seemed to be a couple of rumors why the name changed to Quixtar. One of the rumors had to do with inheritance tax that the children of the Amway owners were taking over and by changing the name and creating a new company they could avoid or lessen their taxes. I don’t know if that is true - the part about getting out of paying taxes. I have no idea. Its what we were told by the upline.

The other theory - and the more likely one - the name change was to get away from Amway’s bad image. Creating the new name Quixtar would take people awhile longer to figure out that it had something to do with Amway. Rebranding themselves with a new name and a new image. It might have worked if the greedy bastards had priced their products to be competitive with other products in the marketplace and if they’d gotten rid of the troublemakers and the tool scam. But no. Not an option when you’re driven by greed!

Ambot got involved again around the time the name change back to Amway was announced. Its now been a few years since Amway has been referred to as Quixtar.

The fact that the name has changed a few years ago doesn’t seem to stop people from searching for Quixtar.

So you know what that means! Keywords! I am still getting searches for Quixtar function 2012 or Quixtar Spring Leadership and spelled Quickstar. Let me spell it wrong again just in case. Quikstar. Quiktar. Quickstar. Quick Star. Quix Star. How many ways can that word be spelled?

Call it what you want. Amway. Alticor. Quixtar. WWDB World Wide Dream Builder functions. It all adds up to one thing = SCAMWAY!!!

Pyramid scheme. Cult. Brainwashing. Liars.

All you negative people make me laugh!!! DO you relized that you work for a living? Do you relaize that you work for SOMEBODY? Do you realize you will not make more than your boss in the "position" you are at?

Seeing as how I don’t have a boss all the money coming in is mine, mine, mine. I don’t have to pay an overpriced wholesaler for generic and substandard products. I don’t have to rip other people off. No ambot can claim that!

I wish these thumb-sucking negative weenies would get out of their pitty party and do something in life to help themselves and families instead of sucking the life out of positive go-getters that want the best for their families, and other families with this great opportunity from Quixtar.

Hey John there’s only one t in pity! Talk about Amway speak! Heard this tons of times from the stage or CD or tape. Isn’t it awesome being in a business that is devoted to insulting everyone and everything? John and his cronies seem to fail to grasp that not everyone is capable physically, mentally, or financially to be a business owner. Whether its a scam like Amway or a reputable business. Not everyone has what it takes. Just like not everyone has what it takes to be a pro baseball player, an actor, an artist, or run the mile in under 4 minutes. Not everyone has it in them to succeed at every single thing they attempt.

And they don’t want to be insulted about it!

Like we need any further proof that part of the Amway teaching is to sneer at people who have jobs. Put down people with jobs. Look at them like they have some hideous disease and should be avoided.

Amway Global / Quixtar - "Selling the dream"

A little musical interlude for you today.

When we were in Scamway the cult leaders often showed this video that I think may have been called Did You Know. It was about 6 or 7 minutes long. It only seemed longer! They would show it at the beginning of the meeting I guess to build up an introduction to whatever asshole was speaking that night. The video we watched had nothing to do with Amway, it was all these facts and figures about what was going on in the world. Like did you know how many people live in Africa, did you know how many people work past retirement age, do you know how many people are dead. No, not really. Those are just my words to give you the general idea. I honestly can't remember anything specific from the did you know from the video we watched. I probably saw the video about 5 times during the Amway hell days.

However Ambot was paying attention. Almost everywhere we went he'd quote off one of the statistics from that video. Did you know this? Did you know that?

To quote the Amway leaders favorite phrase: who cares?

Like shut up already!

But Amway IBO's have to go through life with that attitude of self importance like they're better than everyone else.

This Selling the Dream video reminds me of that Did You Know video we used to watch.

Except of course this one's better!

Amway is one of the Top 2 Environmental Companies in the World?

I have several notebooks lying around. Mostly I use them for ripping out papers for grocery lists or to write an address or phone number down on. As luck would have it these notebooks never happen to be handy when I actually need a piece of paper but occasionally I find one of them tucked away in a drawer.

I found one! Only to remember how much it really ticked me off when Ambot borrowed whatever handy notebook he could find so he be a good little IBO and take notes at Amway meetings. Gotta get that bullshit written down! Geez wasn’t the tape recorder good enough for recording for eternity the Amway lies? There’s a page where he took notes of a board plan our Emerald was giving and I’m ready to rip that page out of my  notebook but now that I’m fully aware of the Amway scam curiosity makes me glance at it and see what lies the cult followers were being treated to that night.

For now I’ve decided to keep the notebook intact because I can see its giving me subject matter for future posts.

The Emerald makes the declaration that Amway is one of the top 2 environmental companies in the world.

Yeah right I’m sure it is! Here’s the thing. Who would dare question upline? The ambots have been brainwashed to believe everything the cult leaders say is the truth. All other points of view are lies. Except they’re probably really the truth and the cult leaders don’t want their followers to know.

So I hit Google to find out who are the top 2 environmental companies in the world.

A company called Engineering News Record is the top hit and has a list of the top 200 environmental companies in the world. CH2M Hill Ltd is number one. Bechtel is number 2. Wait! How can that be? Our cult leader said Amway is in the top 2! Its like a conspiracy! Someone is out to prove the Emerald is a fucking liar!

Oh. That would be me. Ha ha!

This list is from 2008 and here its in alphabetical order because its easier to see Amway or Alticor or Quixtar is not on the list.

The top 10 greenest companies in the world because maybe the asshole meant to say green instead of environmentally friendly. Amway has to be in the top 2 because if they’re not then there’s more proof that our Emerald is a fucking liar!

Not only is Amway or Alticor not in the top 2 but this is a different top 2 from the Engineering News Record. The list shows only the top 20 but you can search a company’s name to see if its in the top 500. I tried Alticor and Amway. Guess what? Not there!

It looks like no reporting agency can agree on the world’s top 2 environmental companies. However they can all agree that Amway or Alticor or Quixtar are nowhere on their lists.

It would appear that Amway exists as one of the top 2 world’s leading environmental companies only in Amway’s fantasy world. What do they do - gather their employees, get them drunk, conduct a survey and then hand out the fake results to the cult leaders to get this information out to the masses?

Oh why not? How many ways can they scam their cult followers?

The problem is when they come up against someone who can’t stand their upline and researches the truth and writes it down in a blog to make them look like a bunch of assholes.

And now we all know the truth.

Who is Nelsen of the Infamous WWDB Amway Family Reunion?

So who is Nelsen of the infamous WWDB Amway Family Reunion?

In a previous post I mentioned that someone - or perhaps a couple - named “Nelsen” are holding a Nelsen Moving Up on July 14 2011 and the Nelsen Family Reunion July 15 to 17 2011. See this post for the web link where I found out those dates.

I have no idea who “Nelsen” is so I hit good old Google and searched for Nelsen Family Reunion 2011. I got a ton of hits from what appear to be legitimate families with the last name Nelsen who are holding reunions. So that tells me “Nelsen” is either a very busy boy or I better put in some more search criteria. I added Amway after that. The first three links are my blog. OK well that’s not helpful but it is kind of fun because I’m probably misdirecting some Nelsen Amway fanatics who can’t find the information they seek.

In this story she references executive Diamonds Theron and Darlene Nelsen. Now whether or not they are the same “Nelsen” holding the Amway WWDB Family Reunion from July 15 to 17 2011 I haven’t the slightest idea. You know how it is with Amway and WWDB and classified cult information. They don’t let that information get out there easily. Where’s Wikileaks when you need them?

More compelling is Jane’s story. I’ve said it before. Every Amway widow seems to have pretty much the same horror story. Just the players, the amount of financial losses, and the locations are different. Hers ended sadly because Amway destroyed her marriage. Chalk up another Amway divorce.

I guess we have to wait and see what happens once Puryear Family Reunion has ended in July and if World Wide Dream Builders give some web time to Duncan and Nelsen and any others???? Horror of horrors. Its bad enough to know that I’ve uncovered three WWDB Amway Family Reunions. Could there be others lurking out there?

On behalf of poor old Jane - I’d like to send a big fuck you out there to World Wide Dream Builders, Amway, the Nelsens, and anyone else who played a part in flushing $35,000 of Jane’s money down the toilet and destroying her marriage.

Amway Defectors!

Someone recently did a search for “Amway defectors” and ended up at my blog.

Ha! I love it. Perfect name. Someone should start up a forum called that and we could all head over to chat!

Whenever I heard the word defector growing up it was usually in reference to someone from the USSR escaping and claiming refugee status in another country.

I think defector is most commonly referred to similar stories when people leave one country for another country. Defector can be used to describe people who switch companies, switch baseball teams, etc.

I know there are people who left Amway to join other MLM’s. Monavie comes to mind though I’m not good on the details. I see some of those discussions on Amthrax’s blog. See a link to his blog on the upper right area of my blog. I guess those distributors who switched to Monavie can be labelled Amway defectors. I bet the higher ups in Amway probably do refer to them that way!

But what about the rest of us who just quit. Closed up shop. Walked away.

Got the hell away from Amway!

I guess we could be called defectors though a lot of us didn’t leave Amway to join another MLM. We just washed our hands of the whole network marketing nightmare.

We are the people who saw the light.

Curiosity got to me and I did a Google search for Amway defectors. Not a whole lot of information but I found a link from a newspaper article in 2008 for the top 5 scam artists and Amway is number 3.  Its no big surprise to me that Amway is on the top scammers list! To quote:

Pursuing the Almighty Dollar at Spring Leadership

Seeing as how its Spring Leadership time for Amway WWDB IBOs here's a link to an article from a reporter who shelled out a few hundred bucks to see what the Amway scam and Spring Leadership was all about. This is a partial transcript of an NBC Dateline documentary. Its always worth a read even though it took place in 2004 and Amway was doing its Quixtar scam to fool people that it wasn't really Amway. Just shows how the lies never change.

Walking Away from Ambots

Women can tolerate a lot when it comes to Amway thinking this is just a phase their husband is going through and as soon as he figures out its a scam or has run out of money or fights with his upline, he will get out.

The longer it takes the more pissed off the wife becomes and that’s when she hits the Internet looking for more information or support.

There’s a good post on the BWW/Amway Lies about Amway Women posted recently that gives some insight.

I found a couple of posts on the Internet from women who decided to leave their husbands. They have almost identical stories even though they’re written 7 years apart. Hell I nearly wrote an identical story last year. Things don’t change that much.

And before IBOFB shows up to suggest its not true I’ve supplied the links where these stories can be found. The second story has some huge typos in it. I have no idea if thats how the web page formatted it or if she was so pissed off she wasn’t typing so good. But I’ve left it as is instead of trying to clean it up. Wouldn’t want IBOFB to show up and accuse me of doing anything wrong.

I have left my husband of four years-- the man I love more than anything in this world.

I am positive my story is not a unique one, nor am I the only person suffering because of Amway. I found myself searching for someone who might understand.

My husband's boss came over one day about 2 years ago to "show us something". I didn't like what I saw then--and I hate the person it turned my husband into. I watched as we lost friends and our home. My family asked us less and less frequently to come visit. Then in utter horror [I watched] as he tried to "contact" [recruit for Amway] someone at my eleven-year-old sister's funeral.

I endured two years of being called "negative", "unsupportive", "non-Christian", and basically a bad wife--by both my husband and his "upline". I finally told him he had to choose [between Amway] and me--even if he only stopped for 6 months. I had already packed--because I knew which was more important to him.

Now I sit feeling sick at what my life has turned into-- wondering if I am wrong. I never doubted my decisions before. I went from being an outgoing person to practically a recluse. I have panic attacks--because of [this experience] and have withdrawn increasingly from the things I once enjoyed.

I do believe I started writing this with a point in mind. I was wondering if there were specific support groups for people in a situation similar to this? I can't seem to find one--though I have run into several other people whose stories are frighteningly identical to mine.

Quixtar has ruined my family... My husband decided to joined this cult over 2 yrs ago, I went to a couple of meetings myself and I just couldn't believe how stupid all these IBO's are.. they worship all big guys, such as Larry Winters. My husband has turned into a robot, he sounds like his upline, he dresses like him, he no longer watches T.V, he no longer listens to music, he Breathes Quixtar all day and night ... 2 yrs in.. all he has in returned is DEBT.. He has to buy his own points to make to special meetings, "THE MEETING OF THE YEAR".. 1000 Points and above... so there goes my husband and buys everything he can buy to make the points.. Things that we don't need, things that we don't use. My husband has a full time job and does this "business" ( which I prefer to called "hobby") every afternoon, regardless of what we have going on.. B-days, anniversaries, emergencies... He just doesn't care and goes out and "contact" people. He has completely pushed the family to the side.. I asked him to make a decision….. I can't even buy regular COLGATE toothpaste without him going nuts about it and throwing it in the garbage... I don't need this kind of attitude around my children. He said he would keep on doing this business with or w/out me... He made his choice very clear.. I left him.. I took my children and left him.. it's been 4 weeks since then and I have not heard back from him... He has obviously decided to married Quixtar and forgot about his wife of 8 years and his two beautiful children of 6 and 3.
How can these people use Christianity as being part of these business?.. THIS IS NOT A CHRISTIAN BUSINESS… THEY ARE USING IT TO BRING PEOPLE IN AND WRAPP THEM IN ALL THEIR LIES AND PROMISES… SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT….
