Amway Dog Food

Today I’m going to do an impression of our sack of shit Platinum and go off on an unrelated rant. Unlike him it won’t take half an hour.

I’m going to rant about the shitty Amway dog food. It costs approximately the same as any high end dog food out there. Whether or not it has the same high quality ingredients as other dog food companies I can’t say because I haven’t recently compared. I will say the one time we bought a bag of Amway’s brand dog food that I’ve never seen so much dog shit in my life! I’m the one who usually walks the dogs. I’m more into fitness than Ambot and I walk everywhere and those dogs give me an excuse to get out of the house every couple of hours. I take the dogs out for a walk first thing in the morning. I’ll usually get one shit out of each of them. After we switched them to Amway dog food the morning walk consisted of 4 to 6 shits! Luckily I stuff lots of baggies into my pockets! These dogs were easily shitting 10 times each by the last walk of the night and huge baggy filling ones at that! I'd get home and flush them one at a time and the next thing you'd know the toilet was clogged and the bowl nearly overflowing. The Amway dog food made me very proficient at using a toilet plunger! But I confess. If Ambot was home and the water was rising in the toilet, I'd turn the water off and start screaming that the big shits had plugged the toilet again and make him unclog it.

Ambot tried to put the Amway dog food onto his next order. I told him if he wanted to keep buying the shitty Amway dog food that he would now be taking over full time walking the dogs and cleaning up after them - a task he doesn’t like. I suggested he find someone in his upline to take over the clean up duty if they wanted us to buy Amway dog food. I got no takers. Imagine that!

I was able to put the dogs back onto the high quality, low stool dog food that they’ve enjoyed in the past.

This drastically reduced the money I was spending on baggies.

This also drastically reduced the number of clogged toilets.

  1. Your post made me laugh cause i use to take the the nutrilite double x and I get this sick feeling. I burp alfalfa and couldnt stop farting. When i buy the high quality vitamins from my vitamin store I have no such problem and get tons of energy.

  2. These are medium sized dogs 40 to 50 pounds taking Saint Bernard sized shits. Those baggies just about broke my wrists carrying them home to dispose of!

Double X didn't do anything for me.

  3. Im heard you can get a refund with the dog food. Just return the empty bag stating you're unsatisfied. Not sure how much time u have for refunds. But your upline platinum and diamond would be ticked with the lost of business volume with the refunds

  4. That dog food bag is long gone. The memories aren't.

  5. HAHA!!!

I love it. I've got a 60lb lab cross puppy (8 months) that shit up a storm on good food. I'd have to walk her with a snow shovel to pick up the poop from AmFood!!!
    Thanks for the laugh....

  9. Holy dog shit I thought I was the only one who's dog couldn't handle the nasty nutripet! Gross! My dog would puke it up instead of shitting it out and the pieces of food were whole! The poor dog had to be rushed to the doggie ER because she wouldn't stop puking up Nutripet!

    Thanks a lot Scamway!

  10. I hope your dog was OK. If that had been me I'd have presented Amway with the ER bill. What's wrong with this company? What is in the dog food that is causing dogs to purge from both ends? My vet told us that one of the best brands of dog food around is the Costco brand. We bought it for awhile and it was about half the price of the high end dog foods and our dogs did well on it. However as one of them aged we had to switch to senior feed which Costco didn't have. At least not at the time. Don't know if they do now.

    1. We feed our cats Costco cat food, it is great! They are healthy, happy, glossy. We feed local ferals & strays as well and it is nice to be able to afford good food for them too!

    2. It’s nice that you feed the feral cats & decent food too. No shitty Amway cat food for the kitties!

  11. Even my poor dog suffered the consequences of us being sold out. Poor thing. She's okay now that we don't give her the poison anymore:)

We use Blue which isn't cheap but so far has been great.

Even our dogs were trying to purge Amway!!!

  12. WOW!!! This is great info. A guy who works for me is in this scamway shit! I have bought some of the energy drinks which are very good. Now we had a conversation about my dogs and he says " we sell dog food too!" Is there anything you DON"T sell? Christ! Everytime we have a conversation, he says " I have a product for that!" I typed "amway dog food" in the search engine, and this blog was the first thing that popped up. That made my day...lol Thanks Anna Banana

  13. Hi Anonymous! Thanks for stopping by! Glad you're enjoying the blog. Do not buy Amway dog food!

I'd also say keep an eye on your employee's cell phone use while on the clock. The upline constantly phones and texts and demands immediate attention. I've written a couple of posts about hiring Amway employees and its better to pay them by the job instead of by the hour because they spend so much time on the phone.

  14. Anna- i would never hire a amway cult members to do any job. They might spend the time day dreaming of being multimillionaires and get nothing done lol. Might take months to do anything.

  18. Curious as to how you switched over to Amway dog food. Did you run out of the old kind and started feeding them the Amway brand the next day?

    1. Anonymous - this was over 10 years ago so I don't recall for sure. Our normal procedure when changing dog food is when there is still some of the old dog food in the bin we add some of the new type of dog food and mix it up and they eat a mix of the two dog foods over the next few days until all gone then we fill the bin with the new food. On the other hand over the years there has been the odd time we've run out of dog food completely and started the dogs on the new food with no gradual change. We have not noticed any indigestion issues with the dogs doing either way but then we feed high quality dog food like Science Diet IAMS or Nutro. So yeah I can see how indigestion problems happen when you introduce a low quality dog food like Amway Nutripet into a dog's system. The more fillers in a dog food = more shit output.

    2. Maybe your dogs are sensitive to one ingredient or something? This site, which specializes in dog food reviews, gave it 4 out of 5 stars (the same rating as Blue Buffalo): http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/nutripet-dog-food-dry/
I also grew up in an Amway home (I am not a member) and we always used Nutripet and never had a problem with bad stools.
Sorry you had a bad experience though.

    3. Anonymous - that site - like other blogs including mine - is someone's opinion based on personal experience and research. My experience with Amway dog food is I've never dealt with so much dog shit in my life. Another commenter's personal experience is a dog who was violently ill after eating it. I'd say that person's experience was much worse than mine. All I did was switch back to a dog food with less fillers and low stool. The other poster had a huge vet bill. How many stars do you think she'll give it based on her personal experience and opinion? Its all subjective.

  19. I am one of those so called AMBOTs and proud to be one. I would think that

    a) if your problem or the other one posted was the norm, Amway would change the formula, and

    b) my dog would have problems, and he doesn't. He gets into other things and gets sick and some treats i have tried have made him sick.

He poops about 3 times a day, based on our vacation experiences, when he can't run free. He is a 7 LB rescue who came to us with impacted anal glands. I don't think we have had to have his glands expressed now in over a year and have never fed him anything but. I worry about him getting into OTHER things besides Nutripet.

    2. "if your problem or the other one posted was the norm, Amway would change the formula"

IN the real world, not the fantasy one you live in, big corporations will push their inferior product for as long as it makes them the $$$, and won't change it an iota unless they are forced to (by law, lost profits, whatev)

      Your company is no different.

    3. Sucrets you nailed it. Companies like Amway will push their inferior shitty products as long as they can.

  20. Has anyone had an experience with Nutripet Chicken and Rice canned dog food? Over the past month I have lost one dog and have 4 other dogs with loose stools, poor appetite. I have spent over $1000 on medical bills trying to figure out why they are all getting sick. I can see the scavengers getting sick, but I have two dogs that just go outside to pee and poop and then come back in and sleep. The only thing I can think of that is common to all 5 dogs is this canned dog food and brown rice that I add to make their stools more firm.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I used Nutripet Chicken and Rice canned food on my 12 year old Boston that was having allergies to most all other foods I had tried, including regular science diet and blue and a couple of others. the science diet SUPER EXPENSIVE for allergies food (nearly twice the cost of other science diet foods) seemed to help, but then I switched to the Nutripet and the allergies stopped - no more meds - no more hassle - good, firm stool, I think it is GREAT food - it may not be for EVERY dog, but it works great for my Boston and my Australian Shepherd is on the dry Nutripet Chicken and rice also - no issues there either.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
