A Pyramid Of Amway Ambots

I heard a phrase on TV that I’m pretty sure said pyramid of friends. I didn’t pay much attention to how the phrase was used. All I heard was pyramid and immediately thought Amway and I heard friends and I thought of those phoney fake Amway bastards that are your immediate friends when you sign up with the Amway cult and after you quit you never see those Amway assholes again. YAY!!!!!! They’re only friends as long as they can make money off you. Once the money dries up those fickle Amway bastards aren’t your friends anymore. Well they weren’t really your friends to begin with anyway.

If anyone has ever wasted their time at an Amway meeting they know the Amway cult leaders got a chalk board and draw a bunch of circles. One circle at the top is you and then they draw a couple of sticks and circles below that and say those are the people you sign up for Amway and they duplicate what you do and drink one Amway beverage and eat one Amway food bar daily. But usually they draw 6 circles because everyone should be able to find 6 people HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though they’re circles they’re still drawn to look like a pyramid with you, the lowly Amway ambot at the top and your little empire of brainwashed ambots beneath you. And you earn gazillions of dollars every month because all these ambots further down the pyramid are making millions of dollars in sales.

Here’s the reality. New brainwashed gaga ambot is unlikely to find one sucker to sign up to the Amway scam let alone 2 or 6. The other reality is that the new ambot is down at the bottom of the pyramid with a bunch of other little worker bee Amway ambots. These are the guys who have enough savings or room on their credit card so they can buy hundreds of dollars of Amway products every month to impress the assholes in their Amway upline about how much “business” they have. Dumb fucks taking the whole buy from your own store bullshit overly seriously. The next level of the Amway pyramid will be the fucking assholes that sponsored the one ambot into the scam. They make a little commission off any sales the moron in their downline buys off Amway. And it keeps going up the pyramid like that. Everyone makes a little commission off those Amway ambots below them. As you go higher up the Amway pyramid these dumb fuck ambots get these fucking stupid names like Fucked Up Eagle, Double Fucked Up Eagle, Sack of Shit Platinum, Double Fucked Up Sack of Shit Platinum, Rip Off Ruby, Emerald Bastard, Fucking Diamond, Double Fucked Up Executive Diamond. There are less people on each upper level pissing on the Amway ambots lower than them on each level of the Amway pyramid. But with each level higher up on the pyramid the Amway assholes are likely making more money than the Amway ambots lower down than them. When you reach an Emerald level on the pyramid which is pretty high up there and you probably have close to 1000 people below you on the pyramid that ambot can expect to earn around $2,000 to $3,000/month. This is according to books and Youtube videos of former Amway Emeralds who disclosed how much they really made. Even though at Amway meetings the cult leaders claim Emeralds make around $125,000/year, that’s not true according to former Emeralds with 1000 ambots in their downline. Its closer to $30,000/year. Amway ambots need to do the math. An Emerald is considered king when it comes to Amway ambots. Heres the person where the lowly ambots are expected to suck dick and kiss ass and with 1000 little worker bee Amway ambots below him he’s only making $30,000/year well that’s just fucked up. Who knows 1000 people?

A little higher up on the Amway pyramid are the Diamonds and according to Amway’s literature they make around $150,000/year. A much more decent income than Emeralds make but how many people below them on the pyramid did they have to steal money from and lie and treat like shit. To get to this level you can’t have any conscience and morals mean piss all to you. At this level there is profit sharing in the Amway tool scam and its possible to make more money from selling tickets to Amway ambots further down the pyramid to come hear you speak. Who wants to pay money to hear some fucked up Amway asshole speak? Save that money and go to the movies or a rock concert instead. But even these hallowed cocksuckers aren’t at the top of the Amway pyramid. There’s other Diamonds who have executive titles and who run various Amway cult sects. These are the ones making the real money and dictating how much money the bastards lower down the Amway pyramid make.

And who is on the top of the Amway pyramid? Well that would be the owners of the company or their heirs. That’s where the real money in Amway is. Signing up suckers to their expensive buyers club and selling generic and substandard products at overinflated prices. They can’t get away with that in the real marketplace in drugstores and grocery stores because everyone would buy from their lower priced/better quality competitors. So the owners have to create an exclusive buying club and hire cult leaders who can brainwash these fuckers into believing that they own their own business and they’re paying more money and getting higher quality products and these things mean they’re better than everyone else in the world.

That’s the Amway ambot pyramid. It constantly crumbles away from the bottom because people come to their senses and realize they’re losing money and they’ve been brainwashed by a cult and they quit so the Ambots higher up on the Amway pyramid must constantly replenish the stock and patch up the pyramid and find more suckers to join their cult.

Stay away from the Amway pyramid scheme. That’s the worst pyramid in the world to try to climb. Wanna climb a pyramid? Go to Egypt or the Yucatan. It’ll be much cheaper than climbing the Amway pyramid.

  2. I had diamonds and the crown kingpin of wwdb all buddy buddy with me. Till they realize I'm not a Ambot and not in their pyramid. Especially when they see someone with no intensions of ever signing up. Then they become rude assholes. I think the ultimate asshole fucktard has to be Howie danzik. He told people he's never married and his previous wife was actually his sister. Yet his brainwashed ambots buy into his bullshit. His new wife Teresa sounds like a crazy preacher on tv selling holy water for 100.00 a bottle.

    2. I'll only pretend to be there buddy to set them up. Maybe send them to a hole in the ground. Or have them show up so we can kill their shitty dream of making diamond

  4. My son was brainwashed and beguiled by Howie Danzick. Get your kids away from that man as soon as they start talking about him!!! First, Danzick tells people you will be rich in one year, then after one year they say 20 years. He likes to tell people, you're just like me! Therefore, you will be successful because you have the same drive. He lies to people about "being retired" when he charges some $246 for stupid conventions in Colorado. That's called WORKING Howie. He must maintain his delusional believers lest his income go down. That's not being retired.

    1. Hi Sherry Lynn. Sorry to hear about your son getting recruited into the evil Amway cult. It's terrifying the control these Amway cult leaders have over their flock. They all promise riches in their Amway scam and after a few months or years it turns into a blame the victim scam and that they're not trying hard enough or their lack of success is to be blamed on their unsupportive wife. Amway cult leaders never retire or their income from ticket sales will dry up.

    2. I actually went to Howie's home in Colorado Springs and man was I impressed after hearing his speech I felt moved. I later spoke with a friend who went to the same invite only event a couple months before me and wow was it a eye opener everything I told him he said was basically repeated to him they hold the same meetings and pretend to show something new when in reality it's just the same things they repeated to their last IBO. Don't get involved

    3. Anonymous - all cult leaders have to be charismatic. They need the ability to read people, find our what they want and offer it them. Amway cult leaders are no different than Jim Jones, Charles Manson and Hitler. And yes they say pretty much the same thing at every Amway cult meeting. They might go off script a bit ranting about someone who didn't show up but you never learn anything new at Amway cult leaders. Except how to hate those Amway motherfuckers!

    2. I did a google search on Howie and Theresa Danzik as I was curious what would come up. They've obviously worked hard at manipulating what comes up first on the searches (one can hire people to do that for you) so there are lots of lots of positive things about them on the first page. Being the huge scammers they are you'd figure there would be a lot of people posting how they've been fucked over by them (since that would be the story of 99% of their downline).

One interesting article that come up was from 2005:

      http://gazette.com/neighbors-say-couples-parties-disturb-otherwise-quiet-area/article/17861

Apparently they are lousy and noisy neighbors and had lots of those brainwashing meetings at their home with, what the neighbors say, are like 100 cars tying up the streets. One interesting part of the article: "is investigating to determine whether they are operating a business from their $800,000 custom home in violation of city codes. Sanders said the Danziks denied having business meetings at their home. She said they say the parties are purely social. “I’m trying to determine if the gentleman is running a business from his house or not,” Sanders said. “He told me he is not running a business from his house and that the parties are his friends. The burden is on me to prove he is violating city code.” Neighbors think the Danziks are running a Quixtar Internet retail sales business from Trevor Lane, using their home and luxury cars as a backdrop to entice prospective clients to join them as partners. “Neighbors can hear his loudspeaker system,” Hansen said. “They can hear him making motivational speeches.”

What the people who get pulled into their scam don't realize is the reason they have what they have is because of everyone they hook into the cult. The money flows UP to them, and they will never see any of it. That's not how pyramids work. They show off their wealth with the line "this can be yours, too" is a total lie. What they should say is "join us so you can PAY for all of this for us"

These are obviously big time scumbag brainwashing bastards. I hope Sherri Lynn's son gets out of that mess. I can only imagine the stress and heartache for a mom seeing her son getting caught up in a cult that will not only drain his finances but change his personality into a not very nice person to anyone outside of the cult.

    3. Dave - the life of an Amway Ambot is to lie, deny, distract and defend and that's what these Danzik bastards are all about. Not only are they violating any city codes about running a business out of the house but they don't give a flying fuck about being good neighbors and letting their neighbors have peaceful enjoyment of their homes. 100 shitmobiles clogging the streets, a loudspeaker system and a bunch of screaming Ambots showing their love and devotion to their Amway cult leaders must bug the shit out of the neighbors.

Nothing like running a pyramid scheme out of your house. I hope the city finally nailed those fuckers.

  6. This is why they focus only on "positive thinking" and rah rah glitz and showmanship at their functions. Showing slides of pretend wealth and phony rags to riches stories to appeal to the greed in the audience. Anything that keeps them from actually doing the MATH of how close to impossible it is to make money in their scam.

Creepy smiles. And yes most people are suckered in to Amway by people they already trust like family, friends, church goers and they think there's no way someone they know and trust would scam them. Wrong. Scammers are lurking everywhere. Like other cults Amway twists religion to suit their purposes. Probably all part of that weird vibe you got. Amway will only bring you financial and emotional distress.

  9. Hello all. I dont know where to begin. I'm 45 and all my life I've heard negative things about Amway. First as a child from associations of my parents and then as a teen hearing about friends or family telling tales about people they knew. So needless to say it's never been a positive spin. Reading here and comparing it to jehovah's witness or the like it's even scarier. I'm seeking any advice I can use to help my daughter and son in law see the light and get the hell away and out before they pick away years at this. It's already divided us but we've managed to salvage our relationship for now but they are pressuring us to support them in one way or another again. I really hate it. I just want them to be family again and not aggressive shampoo salesman.. help.. any advice I can use to steer them right. Thank you

I forgot to mention. They are disciples of Howie and Theresa and from what I've read here and other places they need to get away fast

    1. Anonymous - sorry to hear that your daughter and son in law are involved in the Amway cult. You can be pretty sure it was HIS idea not hers. Judging by your age, I'm guessing they're in their early 20s which is prime recruiting age for Amway. And I'm betting they have that snotty snobby Amway attitude like they're better than everyone else just because they're worshippers of the Great Amway God.

If you haven't already done so check out the links on the right side of this page for more help on cults and download the free ebook called Merchants of Deception to help you understand more about the evil Amway cult. Try to get your daughter to read it. The author had 1000 people in his downline and made about $3000/month. A far cry from the income Amway cult leaders tell Ambots they should be making. Does your daughter know 1000 people she can recruit into Amway and keep theme motivated to buy hundreds of dollars a month in overpriced shitty products? If no she'll be part of the 99%+ who don't make money in Amway. It's a system designed for failure.

All cults work to separate their followers from their family and friends. There's not much you can do when they've been brainwashed.

    2. Again, obviously that guy with 1000 people didn’t have any width. IF it WAS an actual “pyramid” like your job, that guy would’ve been rollin in the dough. Because he could’ve made 3000/month with ~7-9 people personally sponsored & 40 people in his total network running a little bit of business volume (on avg, $450-$600 of sales & personal consumption per person - too easy). He realized he might make more $ selling a book because his ego was bruised. All he had to do is get out there & sponsor some new business owners & empower them to do consume from their own business!!
It’s not f-n rocket science, but it’s not simple...bc people are difficult to work with at times, always thinking they know best when they’ve been employees all their life & don’t understand how business works. Literally like 80+% of people are employees, just collecting a paycheck every 2 weeks, living for the weekend. You can’t move a parked car & don’t want to dull your sword on a rock. Just work with people that want to make a difference in their own lives & love the others who just need a friend.

    3. Look at the small print on Amway’s brochures where it says less than 1% make a few hundred bucks a month and everyone else loses money. That’s a system designed for failure. You got to be a top liar and scammer to make money at any pyramid scheme. Not too many people have it in them to cause financial and emotional distress to others. You got to be pure shit evil with no morals or conscience to make money on Amway.

      Delete
  10. Be polite and friendly to your daughter and her husband, but tell them that YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY ANY AMWAY PRODUCTS.

Explain to them that if they are to have any success at all in Amway, they have to sell the products to non-family members and strangers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. First, I apologize for you, perceiving the lies as truth & possibly from getting involved with an upline who didn’t treat you as a human being.
There’s a lot of ways to “build Amway”...and sound like you got poor advice. “Small business marketing” is all about sales & recruiting; ain’t nobody got time for that!! “Big business network marketing” focuses on leadership, empowerment, financial literacy & building wealth - which is typically a 5year plan minimum in any business.
“Width” (personal partners you launch on your own) is the name of the game in terms of profitability. Most other MLM companies limit the number you can sponsor, Amway does not, because that’s how you can make the big bucks. So those “Emerald” pins with 1000 people didn’t have any side business (width) outside of the 3 qualified Platinum legs, clearly....and that’s why they weren’t making spit. Because the way the business plan is designed, literally ANYONE in your network can out-earn you if they put-work you, no matter what! That’s what makes it performance-based & not a pyramid (like your job)! You’ll never have an equal opportunity at your job to make more than your boss, or his boss, or the CEO or the owner. Won’t happen. And if it does, they’ll change the comp plan on you to make it harder. However.... In Amway that IS the opportunity.
The FDC & BBB both have credentialed Amway with A+ rating & use Amway’s standards to judge the “up & coming”/wannabe Amway MLMs. It’s over a $9B, top 25 privately held company with ZERO debt & just to make it better, they actually do make some stellar products these days & that’s not blowing smoke.
So come on...if you’re going to bitch, at least put the facts out there. Your husband & you apparently were just softy’s & quit when it “got hard”. Guess what, you don’t get something for nothing. IT TAKES WORK. But helping other people is better than working for 40+ yrs & still being broke on Social Security.
And to the rest of you...why would you take financial advice from someone who’s clearly broke & bitter...
Ahhh...success is the greatest revenge :)
    Take care.

Notice how this Amway loser goes on about width and passing the losers in your Amway upline. Yawn! Amway is still peddling the bullshit that I heard years ago.

What do you mean Amway is hard work? At every Amway function I went to the Diamonds stood on the stage and said Amway is so easy anyone can do it. The Diamonds said Amway is so easy that if I can do it then so can you. Then Your Dumb Fuck Ambot LOL shows up here to say Amway is hard work. Something can’t be easy and hard at the same time. Someone is lying here! Either Your Dumb Fuck Ambot LOL is lying to us or every Diamond out there is lying. Is Amway easy like the Diamonds day or hard like Your Dumb Fuck Ambot LOL says?

Yes folks we are dealing with a dumb fuck brainwashed Amway loser who is spouting off a bunch of canned Amspeak bullshit.

Not to mention violating Amway’s code of conduct by commenting on this blog.

  12. To "Your Ambot. LOL" --

Do you realize that you have just admitted that Amway is a rip-off?

Here's what you have stupidly said:

"Small business marketing" is all about sales & recruiting; ain't nobody got time for that!

In other words, an IBO who tries to sell Amway products to the general public is wasting his time. And recruiting is also useless.

And what do you offer instead? Here's what you say:

"Big business network marketing" focuses on leadership, empowerment, financial literacy, & building wealth...

In other words, just more mindless Amway jargon --- half-assed bullshit about "leadership" and "empowerment."

And yet you are blind to the basic contradiction of your statements. You say that a successful IBO has width, and needs to sponsor many individuals. And yet just earlier you said that recruitment was a waste of time!

    Which is it, asshole?

    1. And there you've hit on it Anonymous.

The life of an Amway Ambot is to lie, deny, distract and defend. To cover up an Amway Ambot's lies these dumb fucks go around accusing everyone else of lying.

When by their own words these Amway losers are lying or at least saying the opposite of what Amway Diamonds say and when asked to clarify who is the liar and who is telling the truth - they disappear.

Amway is all about throwing out a bunch of bullshit propaganda and numbers and trying to confuse the prospects.

These Amway losers throw out words like leadership and mentorship training program which is a bunch of bullshit. It's like everything else in life not everyone has it in them to be a leader. If you're in a room full of Amway Ambts all bragging about leadership training then you get to the old saying we used when we were kids - too many chiefs and not enough braves.

Hopefully Your Dumb Fuck Ambot LOL will disappear. He's already done the Amway Ambot lie, deny, distract and defend routine. All that's left is to disappear.

Your Dumb Fuck Ambot LOL must have glossed over Amway's code of ethics. On page 18 it says:

An IBO complies with the letter and spirit of the Rules of Conduct, laws, and regulations in any market the IBO has a presence, and demonstrates cultural sensitivity given market conditions; and
An IBO doesn’t defend or support the conduct of
others who don’t comply with this criteria.

As he's violating Amway's code of ethics, here's how he leads off his above comment: "First, I apologize for you, perceiving the lies as truth & possibly from getting involved with an upline who didn’t treat you as a human being.
There’s a lot of ways to “build Amway”...and sound like you got poor advice."

He's not allowed to defend or support the conduct of other Ambots who aren't following Amway's code of ethics. Instead he's sending out a big old fuck you to Amway and leaving a comment here doing just that. I'd admire him a whole lot more if he actually said fuck you to his Amway boss instead of spouting off a bunch of bullshit Amway propaganda.

  13. I recently went to their meetings and my first impression was "something is not quite right". Everyone was all smiles and hugs but something about Howie(Howard) did not strike me right, let alone the mood in the room. It was very artificial. I read plenty of behavioral books to realize what a dangerous narcissist is like and took body language courses so I had a basic reading of him. This guy is a straight cult leader riding on the emotions of others.
A good rule of thumb when going to seminars is "If they can't explain themselves in clear understanding within 5 minutes or less, they are either selling you something or you are being duped".
This guy could not explain a simple business dynamic without going off on random tangents and stories just to keep you captivated. What a waste of 3 meetings and a few hours of my life.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Thanks for stopping by with your story!

I've felt the same way at Amway meetings - something is just not quite right here. All these creepy smiling overly nice zombies.

What you described is love bombing. It's a common cult tactic and is overly used in the Amway cult. All these creepy Ambots who want to hug you and compliment you on creepy stuff and are over the top attentive. But they're not really all that interested in you. Just your money.

      Amway the Cult of Greed.

Most people should be able to explain their business in less than 30 seconds. And as you said inside 5 minutes for a more indepth description of who you are and what your do and the company's mission statement.

And yes every Amway cult leader runs off on tangents and stories about their lives or whatever they heard is going on in the news like doom and gloom stories. They love the sound of their own voices!

So you got an education that only cost you a few hours of your life. Sure wasted time you'll never get back. Most of Amway's victims get a very expensive lesson that cost many hours and many thousands of dollars. You got a free education that will be priceless for you and to share with others - and that's stay the hell away from Amway and any other scam MLMs out there. Amway will only bring you financial and emotional distress.

      Delete
  14. "Love bombing" is indeed the telltale sign that you are getting involved in some kind of racket or rip-off.

In any real business, the connection between colleagues is the simple one of politeness, courtesy, respect, and friendly interaction. That's all that is needed. You do your best to get along with your co-workers, so that all of you can handle your tasks and assignments easily, and without friction.

The "love-bombing" of Amway and other MLMs is something totally different. It's a way to get emotional control over a person, and to trap him into doing things that are against his better judgment. When people whom you barely know start gushing over you as if they were groupies around a celebrity, you can be sure that this is a ploy to brainwash you and propagandize you.

Real businesses don't need to do that, and in fact discourage it as inappropriate. Boundaries have to be kept between people, so that workers can avoid emotional entanglements that are bad for the workplace atmosphere.

"Love-bombing" destroys boundaries. It pushes persons into forced linkages that are designed solely to prevent the person from thinking clearly about how bad the MLM is. Is it a cultish practice? Absolutely. Every sick cult on this planet deliberately fosters a fake "community" and "cameraderie" and "solidarity" among its members. as a way to shut down all rational thought.

More than anything else, Amway is a cult and a poisonous fake religion. You can see it in the way that Ambots think, and how they speak, and how they have that semi-crazed look in their eyes, and how they wreck their own lives by making decisions based on mindless emotion and belief rather than on rational consideration.

Amway is a twisted religious cult where all participants worship money.

  15. I just had an acquaintance of my girlfriend and her "senior business partner" try to recruit us over the last few weeks. We knew something was amiss about the whole thing, but tried to hear them out and give them a chance. Plus, she's in her 20's, and was telling us how she was on track to pay off her grad school debt this year. Which obviously caught our attention since we're trying to get established as well.

We had 5 or 6 zoom call or phone meetings at odd times like 8 or 9pm with "material" to review after each one, and the whole process felt very rushed. Apparently we were being "vetted", and there were lots of other prospective candidates being interviewed for this so we had to keep it moving. It kind of felt like they rushed things so much, because they didn't want us to stop and really think about it or do the math on the whole thing.

The material was literally nothing more than audio recordings of one of those Amway motivational speakers at one of their conferences, such as Howie Danzik talking about how lavish their life is since they invested their time in "the business". We were expecting things more like business plans, compensation layouts, financial spreadsheets, PDFs on sales strategies, anything of even the slightest amount of substance. But anytime we pried for even a little information, the business partner squirmed, or deferred us to the next recording which again contained nothing.

On the last meeting, I finally pried more, and asked hypothetically "what if I didn't want to buy anything from my own store?". He didn't seem to appreciate that, and then the conversation devolved into him asking us how serious we were on a scale of 1 to 10, and then telling us how he didn't think we were right for the business, and that maybe we're not ready for financial freedom and etc, etc. Basically making us feel like it's US that aren't adequate and not them, when they couldn't even give us any useful information. Once he got off the call, it really got bad, as our acquaintance now sounded like they were on the verge of tears and proceeded to essentially scold us about not taking it seriously, wasting her business partner's valuable time, and proceeded to praise him with an almost worship like devotion. Again we were told that there is no other opportunity out there like this, and that maybe we just weren't cut out for that kind of lifestyle.

To say the least, the last meeting was a bizarre Friday night, and I'm so glad it's over.

    1. Hi Anonymous. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your story! It's always good to know new strategies Amway Ambots are using to sign up prospects.

As you probably noticed with Ambots - their strategy is to lie, deny, distract and defend.

Yeah right she's on track to pay off her student loans this year and on track to buy a mansion next year - in cash - and in 2 years be on track to have bazillions of dollars in residual income rolling in from Amway every month for the rest of her life.

I see Amway losers are still using that bullshit about how they have to "qualify" you and see if you're suitable to join their little empire of sharp businessmen. You qualify if they can convince you of the fairy tale on how rich you're gonna be in 6 months and have enough room on your credit card to pay $150 Amway registration fee.

Maybe you know how much the fee is today and can fill us in?

You asked the right questions. If you're thinking of buying a business franchise or starting a business, you know you need answers to see if it's a viable business venture for you.

Amway Ambots will give you a bunch of fast talk and throw around numbers in an attempt to confuse you. If you get a chance to look at the Amway "business plan" you'll see the numbers just don't add up.

Love how those Amway losers insulted you by saying they don't think you're right for the business and don't have what it takes like a business mindset or whatever bullshit they're using. They're dangling a carrot in front of you. But Amway is all about insulting others who are "too stupid" - their thinking not mine - to "get it" or too cheap to buy Amway's overpriced "prestige" products. The insults and abuse only get worse if you do sign up to Amway and have to put up with the fucking assholes in the Amway upline.

You should watch those Dateline videos on Youtube - link on the right side of this page under more Amway info and you'll see the frantic over the top devotion Amway Ambots have for their cult leaders.

You might think it's over but those Amway losers won't stop pestering you. Here's how you get rid of them. Amway Ambots are a bunch of prudes. The next time one of those losers calls to pester you about joining Amway tell them you're investing your money into producing and starring in gay porno flicks and ask them if they'd like to invest in your venture. Good luck saying that with a straight face LOL pun intended. That'll get rid of them.

The only things Amway will bring to your life is financial and emotional distress. Good on you for figuring out you were on track to being scammed. Stay your course, stay away from scam MLMs, and you're setting up the groundwork for a happy and prosperous life. Good luck to you!

  16. Concerning the experience described by Anonymous at 6:40 AM, I can confirm that "rushing" a potential recruit is a typical procedure in Amway. It is related to what salesmen used to call "the hard sell," where you overwhelm the person with a lot of fast talk and pushy, urgent pleas, not giving them time to think or consider.

Amway adds something else -- the "shaming" technique. If a recruit is still unwilling to commit, you express deep disappointment with his "lack of vision" and "failure to see a great opportunity" and how he has "wasted the recruiter's precious time." Then you add how the recruit "isn't the right material" for Amway, and how "he doesn't want financial freedom," and any other vaguely insulting judgments.

All of this is designed for emotional manipulation. The entire Amway business is not based on business knowledge, or sound financial judgment. That's why they don't want to answer any pertinent questions from a potential recruit. It's not part of the deal. Amway is based on emotion and enthusiasm, wild speculation, getting "fired up," and endless "dreaming."

And if you are stupid enough to join Amway, the first rule you learn is NEVER TO ASK QUESTIONS.

Amway is really no different from an old-time evangelical revival meeting, where some half-assed preacher thumps a Bible and screams "BELIEVE! BELIEVE!" You're not going to be able to ask any intelligent and probing questions in a situation like that.

    1. Anonymous - the hard pitch from Amway salesmen is similar to the rushed hard pitch you get from time share salespersons. That urgency to get in now.

It's like buying Bitcoin. Get in now before the price goes up hype.

In order to make money at any pyramid scheme you had to get in early enough.

Same with stocks. The best time to buy into Facebook was on Day 2 when it was selling for around $20/share. Today it's $270. You can still buy it but your returns aren't going to be as good as the guys who got in at the beginning.

Its the same with any MLM scams. The potential customers or recruiting dumb asses reaches a point of oversaturation or knowledge that its a scam and to stay away.

    2. Wow, you all sound so angry. If you hate Amway so much maybe you could try providing a positive alternative instead of all the hating. It is possible to absolutely disagree with something while staying positive. I was invited to one of their meetings and even though I admit, it was a little over the top with the smiles and some compliments that boarded on hyperbole but I have to say I left there feeling much better (about everything) than I did after reading all these mean spirited comments (just my 2cents)

    3. Also, I am commenting anonymously because...honestly, after picking up on the meanness in most of these posts, I would be worried about being hunted down virtually by some of the posters.

    4. Wow! You sound like you’ve been to more than one Amway meeting. You got the canned Amspeak down like a good little brainwashed Ambot.

It’s quite OK to post as Anonymous here because it’s really fucking embarrassing to admit you’re in the Amway Cult or used to be. There’s nothing to fear here. But you need to be fearful of Amway losers because they’re the most nasty vicious evil motherfucking bastards you’ll ever meet in you life and they attack anyone who doesn’t share their beliefs of worshiping the Great Amway God or who leave the Amway Cult. That’s why this blog exists to warn everyone about the financial and emotional distress Amway brings.

Don't worry... nobody is going to hunt you down. We have better things to do than bother with an obvious airhead like you.

I have one question. If you're not involved in Amway, why the hell are you here visiting this website, which is specifically concerned with the Amway racket? Could it be that you have fallen for all the love-bombing?

Here's a tip -- don't make any business decisions on the mere fact that you "feel better" about something.

    1. LOL Anonymous!

Anonymous Dumb Ass is all worried we're all going to converge in Addison, Texas and hunt him down and convince him not to get involved with ScAmway. Like you said we've got better things to do with our time than force dumb asses not to get involved with pyramid schemes if they are determined to do so. Nice of Dumb Ass to bump up an old post from 2014. His bosses in Ada love it when that happens. LOL!

    2. Addison, Texas? What did I tell you in other posts, Anna, about Amway's appeal to small-town schmucks?

      Delete
    3. Anonymous - I wonder if these small town schmucks want to get out of town real bad and see Amway as the vehicle. Or do they want to stay in the small town while they become Amway bazillionaires so they can laugh at everyone who laughed at them for being so stupid to sign up with ScAmway.

  18. Hi! You know what’s awesome is that Amway is not a pyramid. The FTC uses Amway as the model for the direct sales industry. The reason it isn’t a pyramid is because someone you sponsor can make more than you. The biggest pyramid I have ever seen is at your job. You can never make more than your boss BUT you can work really really hard and help your boss get a better car next year. Have a good one! Byeeeee!

    1. Anonymous from Texas - that's fucking bullshit. The FTC says Amway is not an illegal pyramid scheme and does not use Amway as the model for the direct sales industry you fucking lying little bastard. Do you know the biggest difference between a legal pyramid scheme like Amway and an illegal pyramid scheme? You have better chance of making money in an illegal pyramid scheme. In a pyramid scheme the chance of making money is less than 1%. In an illegal pyramid scheme the likelihood of making money is between 10 and 15%. But thanks for stopping by to let us know that Amway cult leaders are still peddling the same old lies and bullshit propaganda.

You're such an asshole that it's hard to know where to begin answering you.

Amway is a LEGAL pyramid scheme, in that it covers its ass with the camouflage of "selling products to a customer base." In fact, Amway doesn't even do that, since its sales are almost exclusively to its own IBOs, who disguise the operation by using fake names as "customers" for the stuff that they buy to establish a certain PV level. If you were actually in Amway you would know that, and if you are NOT in Amway, what the fuck are you doing here commenting on this website?

AS for the lie about "someone you sponsor could make more than you," that would only happen if the person you sponsor actually sold a large number of Amway products to ordinary retail customers. That almost never happens in the Amway racket, where goods move down-line to other IBOs, but not to ordinary retail non-Amway buyers.

I advise you to think before you open your mouth.

    1. Anonymous - that little Texan Amway asshole sure is disobeying his cult leaders by visiting and commenting on a forbidden site LOL! I can tell you I've never known of anyone in Amway who made more money than their sponsor. I can see if happening i they're all down at the bottom of the Amway pyramid and the sponsor does dick all and the Ambot in the downline buys a bunch of Amway shit. But we're only talking pennies maybe dollars more than the sponsor. Not significant money. No fucking way in ScAmway. But I heard that same bullshit tons of times at Amway cult meetings.

  20. Just sat through an Amway meeting at some random house last night and I'm so glad I found this page! I knew 30 minutes in that it was a pyramid scheme, and I honestly hoped people were smarter than that in this day and age, but I was sorely mistaken. The only solace I find now is in reading this blog and through all the comments knowing that there are people out there that are smart enough to recognize the bullshit that Amway is. The over-loving, over-smiling fake-ness that I found in that house last night almost destroyed my faith in humanity. I came here to say, thank you Anna Banana for restoring some glimmer of hope for the future!

    1. Hi Fee Fi Fofanna. Thanks for stopping by! I'm surprised you didn't hear at the ScAmway meeting that this is a forbidden website to visit LOL! I've had people leave comments that were attending a cult meeting and were warned not to visit marriedtoanambot so they pulled it up on their phone while there.

By sharing our experiences of the emotional and financial distress Amway brought to our lives - we hope to warn others from getting involved with their get rich scheme peddling snake oil.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
