Things To Do In Calgary Instead Of Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2015

This year Amway World Wide Dream Builders is holding WWDB Amway Spring Leadership in Calgary, Canada April 24 - 26, 2015. I reviewed a previous post and its also known as Cowtown. I might not have grown up around cows but I know where there’s a bunch of cows you gotta watch what you might be stepping in! Pretty typical of any Amway meetings they’re all full of shit so it seems like a fitting place.

Keeping with my theme of finding better things to do than spend $125 for a ticket to World Wide Dream Builders Spring Leadership 2015 going to an Amway function to get brainwashed I have to say Calgary was nearly as tough a town to find things to do as Spokane was. Not too many attractions that aren’t seasonal or out of town. It looks like Calgary has parks and festivals and rodeos but with time constraints, none that are happening at the same time as WWDB Amway Spring Leadership 2015. Calgary is also one of those Spring Leadership cities that Amway expects a bunch of really fucking dumb asses to show up so they hold it over 3 days instead of 2. The slightly smarter Amway IBO’s are given permission to attend Spring Leadership in Honolulu, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Kingston, or Minneapolis because some upline Amway asshole has decided they can “get it” in 2 days in those cities instead of 3 days dumb ass ambots going to Las Vegas, Spokane, and Calgary.

Calgary Tower - Its open daily 9am to 9pm. The description says from the top you can see the city, the Rockies, and the prairies. Sounds a little dull to me. Tickets cost $18.00, slightly less for other age groups. You get on an elevator ride up and look at the city and the prairie?

The Calgary Zoo.  Yup, I have found yet another zoo in a city where Amway WWDB is holding Spring Leadership! The zoo here costs a few bucks more than other city zoos at $24.95. Maybe it costs more to feed animals in Canada? They could lower the feed bill and feed some Amway assholes to the lions and tigers!

Glenbow Museum.  Some people on Trip Advisor say its a nice museum. Costs $15, slightly less for other age groups. I’d still go to the zoo over the museum especially if the menu was Ambots.

Big Rock Brewery - Seeing as how I’ve found other beer breweries in other towns offering free tours and tasting I decided to check this one out. First thing I found out is they want you to cough up $25 for tour and tasting! $35 if you do the night tour. Holy shit! Did they hear a bunch of ambots were going to be in town and decide to rip them off seeing as how they’re already used to being ripped off by Amway? So I’d say stick with where you can get the freebie beer tours and tasting. But the name intrigued me. Did this Albertan have a big rock in his yard he had to figure out what to do with? The website gave a little more info and apparently there’s this big rock out in a field a few miles south of Calgary that was deposited there by a glacier and people go out there and look at it. Yup. Life doesn’t get much more exciting in Calgary than driving around looking for rocks out in fields!

No offense to anyone from Calgary but it looks like the biggest hit with tourists would be the highway heading out of town!

If you’re married to an ambot and haven’t gone to Spring Leadership yet try to steer him to Fort Lauderdale where at least you’ll have stuff to do while he’s out being brainwashed by the cult leaders. You’ll get to walk one of those beaches of the world that Amway cult leaders are always preaching about.

Here’s some more key words to help Amway IBO’s find their way because the assholes in their upline don’t help out with this top secret information. And because there are a bunch of dumb ass Amway ambots that think they have the power to turn back time and put this into their Google searches: Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2014! And one more for the Amway asshole who is thinking ahead to next year! Amway WWDB Spring Leadership 2016. Yup ambots are so fucking brainwashed by their Amway cult leaders they have no clue what year it is!

Las Vegas April 10 – 12, 2015
Spokane April 17 – 19, 2015

Honolulu April 18 – 19, 2015

Calgary, Canada April 24 – 26, 2015

Minneapolis April 24 – 25, 2015

Denver May 2 – 3, 2015

Fort Lauderdale May 2 – 3, 2015

Kingston, Jamaica May 23 – 24, 2015

Amway sucks!

WWDB sucks!

Spring Leadership sucks!

  1. I'm currently an IBO but I would like to get out. I joined amway about 5 months ago, and I just came from a conference this weekend. The week before the conference I saw that I spent 2000-3000 dollars on amway's overpriced products. That honestly opened my eyes from this facade of a business. This weekend I realized how all these "leaders" teach you to lie to family and friends just to get their numbers and attention. My boyfriend was in it 2 months before me and got me to join. I was SO convinced and was actually brainwashed, until I saw all my spendings. I'm only a college student and I'm spending SO much. I don't know how I'm going to quit. I'm so worried and I don't know how I can convince my boyfriend about how this amway is a scam because he is so brainwashed and convinced. I don't know what to do and I don't know how I could let him wake up. I'm just so stuck, so far I've decided to stop attending meetings, I deactivated my ditto and returned a lot of the products.

    1. MC - as I'm sure you've realized you'll never make back that money in Amway. Over $2000 in overpriced shitty Amway products sounds to me like the assholes in your Amway upline were pushing you to go for your 1000 PV pin and you singlehandedly did that in the month by running up your credit card. Very common Amway procedure and then the people who forced you to do that will sneer at you that you're a phony 1000 pin.

The life of an Amway Ambot is to lie, deny, distract, and defend and those were the techniques you learned at that Amway conference you just got back from.

Just quit. Just go cold turkey. Don't go to any more Amway meetings, don't buy any more Amway shit. Don't answer their phone calls and texts. The boyfriend may be a tougher issue. Once the assholes in the Amway upline know you're out of the cult they'll do everything they can to break up your relationship.

Here's the thing. You're a student so that tells me you're still young enough to bounce back financially and from a potential broken heart. There will be other boyfriends in your future who will treat you better and won't haul you into an evil cult.

Look on the right side of this page for Amway links and you'll see a free ebook you can download called Merchants of Deception. Read it and it's like you're right there in the room with this former Emerald who was making $3000/month tops in Amway. Probably not the income you were told an Emerald makes right? Us neither. And he's not the only former Amway Emerald to his the Internet and say he only made around $30,000/year. Try to persuade your boyfriend to read that book too. Its a huge eye opener into how the Amway scam is run.

  2. Also, I can't believe I've spent 2000-3000 dollars in the course of 5 months! It's ridiculous. My parents were very supportive of me but started to get upset over this because of the weekly meetings that I would come home late from (I live with them. I'm an off campus student.) Then they found out about the 2000-3000 dollars I've spent over the last months and that even made them much more upset and are now convinced that this is a scam. I was upset at first about what they said but I thought about it and they are right. I hate the fact that you are forced to attend meetings ALL THE TIME and push out whatever you have done. I have so much studying or commitments sometimes I can't make it and my boyfriend gets "upset" because we are supposed to get in it as a couple. It's SO ANNOYING. The people are so positive, but I just can't agree with the whole "fresh list of names" and "contacting random people" as well as pestering your family and friends. I've lost a couple friends by just showing them the plan or some of my family like my cousins act weird around me because they're afraid I would sell them more of these overpriced bullshit products that taste like shit, my cousins bought some products and are customers of mine but I believe they just didn't like the taste of the products and/or wasn't effective to them, although it's cool cause I just need to move on from that. Now there's another summer conference and I just came from one that was just SO much and I need to buy one more?! UGH. I just need to get out. I don't know about my boyfriend, I love him very much but I just don't know what to do. Thank you so much for this blog Anna. This is one of heck of a blog, and I'm glad to have found something I can relate to during this time of trouble I'm having as an IBO who just wants out. Thank you, thank you. If you have any advice for me as well as regarding what to do with my ambot boyfriend I would take any help and advice. Looking forward to your posts! :)

    1. MC - Amway is a cult. Those cult meetings that you are forced to attend are to keep you brainwashed. You know what happens if you don't go or say you're not planning to go. You get shit from the assholes in your Amway upline.

You figured it out - Amway sells overpriced shitty products. Nobody wants to buy them, unless they're a brainwashed Amway ambot. Amway's sales figures show only about 3% of sales are made to people who are not Amway IBO's so what does that tell you. A lot of Ambots are working overtime "buying from their own store" as preached by the Amway cult leaders.

Yup while you're still at an Amway conference the assholes in the Amway upline have their hands out wanting you to buy tickets for the next conference, in this case its Family Reunion held in the summer. And its more of the same bullshit of what you just saw.

I'm glad the blog is helping you. Of course everyone enjoys the part about cursing out people in Amway, but its a place of support, mostly for women but some men have also come here with the reverse problem - their wife is the ambot. You know you're not alone. The same stuff you're going through, we went through. Nothing every changes in Amway. Its all about emotional and financial devastation to the victims.

    2. And don't fall for their "blame the victim" crap. They will sneer at you and say you didn't work the "business" hard enough. They'll say you didn't do it right. That you are a loser and a dream stealer and that you'll be holding your boyfriend back from being millionaire. It's all part of the cult brainwashing. Amway IBO's fail before it is a FLAWED PLAN. Once you get past the smiley "positive" bullshit and unrealistic circles drawn and do the math you can see why over 99% of those in Amway don't make money, and most lose it hand over fist. A business needs customers and if an Ambot is their only customer, then it can't make money. And who the hell BUT an Ambot will pay that kind of money for shitty products? Then the push becomes "recruit, recruit, recruit". And what is that normally called? Why, it's called a PYRAMID scam. And with all pyramids, only the top 1% who got in early make a dime. They feed off the 99% brainwashed people below them, as they talk of dreams and riches, all of which are lies and bullshit. It's the fantasy carrot they dangle at all the meetings to keep folks brainwashed into continuing to lose money. To keep recruiting people you would have to have no conscience and not care about dragging others into a destructive cult. And I can tell you are too good hearted a person to be a snake like they are.

By getting out of Amway, you are NOT a loser. You wised up. Plain and simple. As for your boyfriend, if he doesn't break free of the grasp they have on him, as Anna said, they will certainly turn him against you, telling him that you are a loser and trying to steal his dreams and holding him back. That's how evil cults are. Just like a religious cult, it's all about control over their victim, and part of that is to drive a wedge between them and their family so that only the cult has any say into their thinking.

Good luck to you. You made the first step by realizing Amway for what it is. Don't look back. Get as far away from their control and deceit as possible.

And don't berate yourself for falling for a cult scam. They are damn good at twisting reality and words to make the impossible seem possible. That's why this scam has been around for so long.

    3. Anonymous - its like you were in the same room with us listening to our sack of shit Platinum rant at my husband that I'm a lazy unchristian negative dreamstealer who is holding him back etc etc! Just trying to save our money from being wasted on tithing the Great Amway God, and spending it on our bills was enough to get the rage of the assholes in our Amway upline. The thing thise bastards fail to realize if someone doesn't like them then they have no control over that person. And of course those arrogant Amway bastards are under the false impression that the whole world loves and worships them. Reality check! I hold no brainwashed illusions like that.

  4. Thank you so much for your words Anon, it's really helping me out too. As for my boyfriend he's stuck, but just today he told me how hard it is to keep up with a ditto. It's a step to help him get out of it too. But thank you guys for the support. I'd give you both hugs if I could haha

  5. Nice post.I completely appreciate with your review. I was in Calgary with my wife in January. So I took help of citadeltours suggested by my friend and it was really comfort and safe travel service provider. I am cordially giving thanks to its service and staff. Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
