Amway Sex?

Can you believe that someone did a search for Amway sex and ended up on my blog?

I bet this blog is about to get a whole lot more hits just because I have a topic about sex!

I remembered Eric Scheibeler bringing sex up in his book Merchants of Deception in describing how the upline controlled that too, so I took a look at my copy and searched out some passages to refresh my memory and am sharing them here.

Here are some passages written about the Yagers:

The most bizarre of Dexter’s teachings, in my opinion, were his sex talks. Remember, as you read this, that neither the general public nor the average distributor were ever made aware of what went on at these leadership meetings. By the time people got to these meetings, they had been well indoctrinated. Also, remember that these meetings were normally started with a prayer. At one of our first few high-level leadership level meetings, very late at night, Dexter decided to share a business secret that a woman Diamond had passed on, regarding the success she and her husband enjoyed. The advice he passed on to the ladies present concerned how to relate to their husbands. The advice was to “screw their brains out.” People were actually taking notes!

On another occasion, we were with Dexter in a large, Italian restaurant that had many other people, besides the near thirty in our entourage. We ordered and all of us that were present huddled close to Dexter to hear whatever wisdom he was going to share. Now, picture how odd this must have looked! We were sitting in a restaurant, and we were huddled around Dexter, and the other patrons were trying to figure out who he was and hear what he was saying. He must have looked like a celebrity! He was wearing enough diamond and gold jewelry to look like a short, white Mr. T. There was a hush in the room. For this sex analogy, he chose an attractive, young, Emerald woman sitting near him. He asked her what her name was, and if the guy with her was her husband. She responded to both questions. He looked her right in the eye and asked her if she really enjoyed sex. Then he explained how sex is an important thing and went on and on about some point that I can’t even recall.

At the last Go Diamond Seminar we attended, it seemed that nearly the entire function revolved around sex. At one point, the women were brought to a separate room and given specific direction, but there were many speakers that addressed the entire group on this topic. Dexter had had a stroke and felt it was important to advise us that it had occurred on a night when Birdie had refused him sex. (I cannot remember what the point was that time.)

Oh goody. An Amway meeting that is all about sex. Now everybody knows what they have to look forward to if they stick around long enough and throw enough money at this scheme.

Here’s a passage that I’m guessing is discussed at “men only” meetings.

“Scientific surveys have documented that your wife is peaking sexually at about 1:00 p.m., and you missed it by being at work. Had you been a retired Emerald or Diamond, you would have been home more often to capitalize on this scientific phenomenon.”

I didn’t spend a lot of time on the Internet searching for that one but you’d think I could have found at least one scientific study to back it up if it was true so I think I’ll just write that off as another whopper told by the Amway professional liars. Like we need any further proof that’s all men ever have on their minds!!!???? Whether or not its lie is secondary to the real message that they’re insulting their downline because they haven’t reached a level where they can be lazing around the house all day instead of being at work.

Here’s another passage from Eric’s book:

I did not know the other advice that the ladies were given until years later. The women in our organization were told what they needed to do to become Diamond ladies was support their husband and be a good Proverbs woman. Each woman was told never to refuse her husband sex, for any reason. These women were even told to dress up and put on fresh make-up to greet their husbands when they would come home at one or two o’clock in the morning. At two different meetings, a member of our upline told the women that they were to always look good, as they were their husband’s “best ornament.” This offended all those women who still had the capacity to think clearly–but what could they say?

AAACCCKKK!!!!!! Have those male chauvinist pigs been watching The Stepford Wives a few times too many? Yeppers - that offends all women who have not been brainwashed by the cult. Their brainwashed husbands would look at that passage and say, so what’s wrong with that.

One last passage to back up how the upline fuckers (in more ways than one!) demanded to know every detail about their downline’s life. Now we all know the reason why people have so much difficulty sponsoring IBO’s. It has nothing to do with prospects who are not interested in getting involved with Amway. It has to do with the sex lives of the IBO’s!

There seemed to be no level at which they would stop invading your personal life. A fellow Emerald told Kathy and an Emerald in our group that she and her husband would ask a couple they were counseling how many times a week they were having sex. A couple needed to really have a good relationship to sponsor effectively. Privately, Molly told Kathy that if Zack came home at three in the morning and wanted sex, he was going to get it. After all, look how he provided for them. It sounded far too much like a business deal when Kathy later revealed this to me. At the same time that the women were getting this advice, Zack was holding a men’s leadership meeting and advising that he did not know how a woman could want to have sex with a ‘wimp.’ A ‘wimp’ was defined as someone not doing all he could to further his Amway business and financial future. One Diamond jabbed the crowd at a large seminar by saying in a half-joking manner, “You may not really love your wife if you don’t go Diamond.”

  1. Was reading over your blog a hour ago. When this couple started asking me questions of where i baught my tiny notebook. So i told them it's for only 200 and very proud of little computer and the size. Then they switched topics and asked me if i had any business minded friends in china or asia. I thought oh god it's another ambot or mlmbot. Guess they didnt find me a good prospect cause i said north americans arent really into opening their own business. Most people around 90% would like a secure job and the basics. Made me really mad for wasting my time. That's what ambots or these mlm types dont get. People heard of their scams before and we dont like being bothered or have our time wasted.

  2. Barfing now.

There really is no end to the level of control they believe they should have over IBOs.

    And this is not cultish?

It's disturbing, to say the least.

The independent women in the room should have gotten up and walked out at the same time. Someone has got to show them they don't own them.

This sounds eerily like radical islam.

  3. haha that was so funny. i was so oblivious to amsex back then. but reading mod book i remembered one example - kumar a bww kingpin telling young couples that they need only be excited about the business and nothing else so to prevent intimacy and possibly starting to have kids until they go emerald/diamond he made sure they would be out there busy and late into the night daily so that when they get home they are tired like forty dogs and just doze off. amazingly people laughed off. looking back boy it's amazing what i had come to tolerate. some ambots took the "advice" and waited to start a family. no surprises if some are still waiting. ridiculous!

  4. Colin - we were hearing at meetings that China is about to "go big". Our Platinum said at every meeting his next goal was to get business in China. Can you imagine the recognition whichever Ambot completed that task would get?

  5. Absolutely cultish. Every cult I've read about complaints about the cult leader controlling relationships, marriages, sex, number of children. Our Platinum was probably counselling some of the younger IBO's on sex and to ask his permission first. I think he knew if he said anything to me about it I would have told him to go fuck himself! So the Platinum instead engaged in trying to destroy relationship and break up couples. Maybe he had to get to a higher level to be more controlling when it came to sex, frequency, and with who!

  6. i go looking for any attempts to prospect me but it never happens. i guess it's because i see myself carrying a big hammer (knowledge in mind and mouth) to whack these amsects so they stay away. i especially can't wait for a big pin. but oh well... i guess i will just enjoy my peace mind until then. my wife did get prospected by some woman who swore some chocolate candy healed her cancer affliction or something so it's why she promotes that mlm to the bone. poor woman they got her.

  7. Hey Mr. Former Upline IBO: How, who, where and when I fuck is none of your business!

  8. Ha ha David! I'm sure your former upline would disagree!

  9. Lol Dexter seems like a perv:) Maybe he thinks he's charlie sheen or hugh hefter.

  10. Colin - throughout the book Dexter was portrayed as a sick greedy pervert. Much of it had nothing to do with sex!

  11. Anna: Of course my former upline would disagree with that statement. This disagreement is one of the reasons I eliminated his position and fired him!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ha ha! That's a good one! I fired my upline because he's an asshole!

I'm thinking up better ways to eliminate them!

  13. Now dont get me started on this topic. I can go on this on and on.

My upline lady, who wanted me to tell her everything that goes on in our lives told me, "You know, I have such a tight relationship with my upline and talk to my upline lady about everything, including our sex lives." She freaked me out.

Then in a counselling session with our up up upline Emerald idiot, the up up upline Emerald asks us directly, "So, you guys do have sex right?"

In one of the go diamond events we attended, in the ladies leadership meeting, a good 20 mins or so was devoted to this topic. EDC Suzanne Calendar talked about how she did not refuse Wayne even though she was dead tired. Latha Gala talked about how sex should be made the tenth core step (Remember 9 core steps needed to succeed in the business).

You cannot even fart without checking with your upline

  14. Amazing your upline didn't want more details than just if you were!

Suzanne and Wayne are from Stepford?

  15. ExAmbot - no one has tried to prospect us since we quit Amway. You'd think all the time I spend in Barnes & Noble that some ambot would attack!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anna: Barnes&Noble is now an "Ambot Free Zone". You are safe from Ambot attacks there. This thanks to a letter sent to Amway Corporation telling them that solicitation by their distributors was no longer welcome, and to cease this behavior by their distributors. This is posted on the "Amquix info" site, dated Feb 6,2006! What is posted is a "Business Communication" from Jim Payne, Managing Director for the now defunct Quixtar. You may want to copy and paste it to your blog. What makes this ironic is that Barnes&Noble is (or was at that time) a Quixtar partner store!

    ReplyDelete
  17. David - that letter is 5 years old. That information might be unknown to the current crop of IBO's. Letters like that are only distributed to the cult leaders, not sent out to every IBO. Can you imagine the postage charges Amway would incur? Its all part of the information control. The cult leaders decide what information to pass on to the downline. This information about harrassing Barnes & Noble customers might not be widely known amongst today's IBO's but you can bet your ass its known to the current B&N employees! With our Quixtar/Amway IBO card we could use it to shop at Barnes & Noble online for a discount but not at the bricks & mortar stores.

  18. I find it ironic that when you are being "prospected" the big points they push are being your own boss, working less hours, etc, when in fact once you are "hooked" you are more "beholden" to your upline than you were a a normal j.o.b. (as they call it) and can't have a bowel movement without their approval/permission, and as for hours, I'm sure many will tell you that Ambots put in way more of their time for far less return than they ever had with their former j.o.b. But of course, they are brainwashed to see it differently and have the carrot continually dangled in front of them that they are just "one tape" or "one function" away from easy street. Reminds me of gambler putting their life savings into slot machines thinking they are just "one coin" from the big jackpot. Sadly, their chances are just as remote as the ambot's.

  19. Most IBO's put in more hours on Amway related bullshit than they do at their job. We're here to blow holes into the claim of 10 to 15 hours a week working part time to make 100k a year. IBOs are more devoted to their upline who must be worshipped than they are to spouses and family. The upline demands complete obedience and their IBOs must ask permission before doing anything. And Amway claims its not a cult! Actually I think a gambler's odds of making money are better than making money being an Amway IBO!

  20. To qualify for full cult status there needs to be a rule that the uplines get to have sex with the downline wives. Was there any of that going on ?

    ReplyDelete

    1. actually our upline diamond had an affair with his downline sapphire - so I guess now its officially a cult!

  21. Peter - I'm surprised there isn't a rule like that! Or maybe there is and I wasn't in long enough to be privy to those secrets. That said this happened in our crossline. She got pregnant and the speculation was on who was the father.

    ReplyDelete
  22. They do have rules about dating crossline, therefore singles can only date upline and downline, so in essence, yeah, if you are single and want sex, someone is sleeping with their downline. (I learned this from an IBO)
I've read some crazy stuff about orgies being held in hotels at conferences, full swap swinger couples, group sex, and single uplines having sex with piles of downline.

None of this sounds like the good wholesome Christians they claim to be. This doesn't sound like the happily married couples they claim. The reason the singles are banging everything single in their LOS is because they don't have time for real relationships, especially with people outside the biz. I feel bad for single women in the biz, they must get hounded at every conference, meeting and group interaction by their LOS. I'm sure they like the attention, but, unless your LOS is huge, your pickings are slim. I guess it doesn't matter though, both IBOs would be so in love with the Britts and Crowes that they have so much in common they could pretend to love each other, assuming one doesn't get sick of it all before the other does.
So yeah, it is cultish with regards to relationships and sex. Don't date out of line or out of the business. Have lots of sex with your partner. Using sex addiction to maintain someone in the biz just a little farther, milk them (lol) just a bit more.

    2. lol are you kidding me? date only up and downlines but not cross?

lol lets join a group that tells me how to spend my money, live my life, who to date/fuck, and whatever

      sounds like an amazing plan

I am so glad my stay was short with amway

even my former upline hides the fact he is associated with amway, when he put a picture up of the family reunion he said it was a motivational seminar and didn't list who it was by lol.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
