If You Dream It You Can Have It

One of the bullshit phrases I used to hear at Amway meetings was “If you can dream it you can have it.”

Amway sells dreams of wealth and greed. Puts hope into the hearts of the cult followers that this phrase might actually come true for them.

“If you can dream it you can have it” sounds more like it should be a slogan for the Powerball lottery. The chances of winning the lottery are probably better than ever becoming an Amway Diamond!

Unfortunately this weekend at FED many ambots are being told something to the effect of was “If you can dream it you can have it”. This will be brainwashed into them relentlessly until they are programmed to believe that Amway is the only way their dreams can come true.

There are all kinds of things I dream about but I know these dreams won’t come true.

I can dream that I’m a few inches smaller but its never going to happen.

I can dream that I’m fluent in 5 languages but seeing as how I have enough trouble just with English I doubt that dream will ever come true for me.

I can dream of climbing Mount Everest but that won’t happen because I have trouble breathing at high altitudes.

I can dream of walking around the Grand Canyon Skywalk but I think that would creep me out.

I can dream I’m 25 years old again but I don’t think I’ll ever see it happen!

I can dream of camping on Alcatraz but I doubt the Parks Service will let me do that.

I can dream about owning spiders but that would creep me out even more than the skywalk!

I can dream that I’m married Brad Pitt. Who knows? I might still fit that in before I die!

The point is there are all kinds of things that people can dream about and the dreams will never come true, whether or not money is a barrier. Most of the things I mentioned can be done on the cheap. I think the Everest expedition costs some big bucks but costs aside no matter how much I dream I’m standing on the peak I would arrive to the base camp and not be able to ascend.

What do ambots motivated by greed dream about? Big houses, sports cars, sailboats, luxury vacations. The things their Diamond cult leaders taunt them with from the stage. The ambots want what their cult leaders have. They dream about becoming a Diamond which is a rare occurrence in Amway and having all kinds of money to blow. Not likely. Amway’s own literature shows Diamonds with an annual income of around $150,000. Not too bad but they have to pay taxes, have a huge mortgage on a home they spent too much money buying, loans for those luxury sports cars. They spend a lot of money keeping up a phony illusion that they have more money than they really do.

No matter how badly the ambots dreaming of acquiring all these material possessions and retiring early while residual income keeps rolling in from Amway, it is unlikely to happen. It might happen if they focused their energy on something that has a greater chance of success than less than 1%.

If you dream it you can have it, the slogan that’s been ingrained into us. Right now the only thing I dream about is Amway being shut down for good so this evil company and its evil cult leaders can’t hurt anyone anymore.

So what do you think? The Diamonds said if I can dream it I can have it.

Or is this just further proof those Diamonds are a bunch of liars?

Some of history's most evil tyrants have stolen power, and become fabulously wealthy, simply by identifying what is is that most people dream of, and then offering to supply them with it. Unfortunately, this gives their followers the illusion that they are excercising free-will, when they are actually being manipulated.

Without exception, Tyrants and cult instigators are persons who have initially suffered from Narcissistic Personality Disorder or NPD. If left unchallenged, such individuals can transform into megalomaniacal psychopaths with paranoid delusions of grandeur, and self-righteousness, and compulsions to pursue grandiose criminal objectives, but which they justify with lies. The unconditional deference of their followers only serves to confirm, and magnify, tyrant/cult instigators' own paranoid delusions.

Narcissistic traits (where a young person talks highly about himself/herself to eliminate feelings of worthlessness) are common in, and considered 'normal' to human psychological development. When these traits become accentuated by a failure of the social evironment and persist into adulthood, they can intensify to a level of a severe mental disorder. This has been known (since 1971) as Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Severe and inflexible NPD is thought to effect less than 1% of the general adult population. It occurs more frequently in men than women.

Pernicious 'MLM' cults can be described as narcissistic groups formed by NPD sufferers and co-narcissists. Such groups represent a dangerous social evironment for ill-informed, and unprotected, persons to enter.

'Amway' core-adherents have been gradually dissociated from external reality and reformed into deployable agents and de facto slaves, completely dependent on a collective narcissistic/paranoid delusion of absolute moral and intellectual supremacy fundamental to the maintenance of their individual self-esteem/identity and related psychological function.

Narcissistic cults act like an addictive drug on unprotected human minds. Groups like 'Amway,' are distorting mirrors, constantly reflecting back an ego-building image at their obedient adherents and an ego-destroying image at those who refuse to believe.

  2. I agree the 'if you can dream it, you can achieve it' is an ethereal con. I've dreamed for years to have legs like Sandra Bullock. I can dream my guts out, but I don't have her genetics, and all the weight lifting squats, calf raises, etc. will never make it happen.

Every time I go to the hairdresser, I tell them to make me look like Heather Locklear. Big jerks. Never happens.

Break it down: 'if' you can dream it. The word 'if' is the sticking point. It's where the leaders can blame you for not achieving.

Like somehow we're too dumb to know how to dream. I say get your heads out of the clouds and get your noses to the grindstone. That's the soundest advice I've ever gotten.

With a civil war looming between the haves and have-nots, it must be very uncomfortable at an amway function these days.

Hey, Occupiers, I got a great place for you to demonstrate. Ever been to Portland?

  3. It's one of many scamway idiotic cultic statements designed to metamorph from being on the other side of truth to truth itself. as such only after saying it repetitively, it becomes deeply ingrained in an ambot's mind. thereafter, an ambot holds on to an illusion of owning a "business" just that much longer. And therein lies the secret to the scam-an ambot becomes an income source just that much longer. voila!

see it takes less than a minute to burst up the scam. now FTC can go shut it down or let an untainted somebody else ascend to the helm and do it! i know though, politics and scam money are together in bed. but hey like most others that's what i am dreaming of and i should have it, right? the diamonds say that i didn't.

  5. Ha ha Anonymous. Let's dream about it so we can have it: legs like Sandra Bullocks, hair like Heather Locklear, and a body like Pamela Andersons!

You got it "if". Never will happen! At least not in Amway!

Good one! Oakland occupiers! Head up to Portland! Occupy that Amway FED!

  6. ExAmbot - you want to read some idiotic cult statements? Just came in this morning from some brainwashed ambot from Michigan who is looking on the Internet in the middle of the night to buy Amway CD's and ended up at my blog where he was most disappointed not to find any for sale and felt obligated to leave the typical brainwashed ambot response. I believe you were in the same LOS as him. http://marriedtoanambot.blogspot.com/2010/11/amway-tapes-and-cds.html

But right on - our dream of having the FTC bust up Amway!

  7. Occupy Portland has been camped in a park downtown for weeks, and tried to move into another two parks as well. I believe that it has more people involved than Oakland, but the police have been remarkably restrained, so it hasn't made the news.

I'm sure that if they really knew about Amway, they'd protest, but Amway really isn't that well known beyond the initial "ewwwww" reaction. It's just too much of a joke to protest.

I realize that it's not a joke at all to the families being torn apart by it, of course, but most people are approached at the "wrong" point in their lives, listen to the first "teaser" CD they are given and just roll their eyes. It's like a vaccine; they will never take amway seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Anonymous - its too bad that word didn't get out to Occupy Portland to head over to wherever Amway is holding Free Enterprise Days so they can go over and protest how Americans are being ripped off and financially and emotionally devastated by this cult.

You're right. Amway is not really all that well known beyond the people who've been affected by it. The brainwashed ambots who have been convinced that they're in for a lifetime of doom and gloom unless they sign up with Amway are the only ones who take this cult seriously.

  9. I was asked about my dreams by my platinum & diamond. Told them i wanted a large swimming pool with parties like hugh heftner at the playboy mansion. Maybe it was the only time they trashed someones dreams. Told me what i wanted was immature and I should leave a legacy.

One thing is certain, no one has ever earned a dime of net-profit lawfully, by regularly retailing 'MLM' wampum to the public, let alone achieved their wildest dreams of freedom, happiness and prosperity.

More than 50 years of evidence proves beyond all reasonable doubt that once inside a narcissistic 'Prosperity Gospel' cult like 'Amway,'adherents have been persuaded to hand over their cash each month in return for a quota of effectively-unsaleable wampum, whilst trying to recruit their social contacts to duplicate the same impossible plan to achieve the Utopian dream-world known as 'total financial freedom.'

In the adult world of quantifiable reality, if an 'MLM' adherent requires 20 recruits for him/her to make money, each of those 20 would also have to find 20 more, or 400 in total. These 400 recruits would require 8000 and they would need 160 000 who would have to find 2.4 millions, to be profitable. If you go just one level further, then almost 50 millions 'business owner/customers' would need to be found, and maintained, for the plan to keep functioning. However, in order for the 50 millions to become profitable they would all need to find 20 more recruits themselves.

'MLM' is a crack-pot pseudo-science - a hypnotic fairytale of financial-infinity - but 'MLM' adherents have to keep telling their recruits that they can always recruit more.

Without exception, 'MLM' plans have been based on spreading this absurd lie. Yet, each year, millions of wide-eyed 'MLM' Dorothys set off down the Yellow-Brick Road and begin to hand over their time and cash, but quit when inevitably they cannot get to the promised-Land of Oz.

As long as 'MLM' wizards can prevent most of their victims from complaining and keep replacing them, the fraud can be sustained.

Whilst law enforcement agents look the other way, numerous gangs of racketeers continue to deceive countless millions of victims, by convincing them that 'MLM is best income opportunity in the world.'

If you run this type of dissimulated fraud in conjunction with a thought reform program (designed to shut down victims' critical, and evaluative, faculties and load them with guilt), then what you get is truly evil.

You are correct, in so much as there will always be 'income opportunity' fraud, because it has been tailored to fit the existing beliefs, and instinctual desires, of a type of person who has always existed and who will always exist.

The authors of the 'income opportunity' lie known as 'Amway,' should have been stopped and held to account many years ago, long before their pernicous game of make-believe reached global proportions.

The overwhelming majority of outside observers consider that 'MLM' cults like 'Amway,' are for weaklings and suckers. Sadly, these observers generally think that all the victims of 'MLM' deserve their fate, because they were all motivated by their own stupidity, and/or greed. I must confess, that at one time, I probably would have agreed with this ill-informed view point.

Unfortunately, there are countless millions of innocent, secondary 'MLM' victims, like you and me, who have watched their friends and relatives undergo nightmarish transformations - dissipating all their mental, physical and financial resources to the benefit of narcissistic 'MLM' bosses, whom they have continued to trust and follow no matter what suffering this entailed.

As you know, in my case, I watched my brother throw away not just his own money, but also that of his family - which he acquired control of, by telling the scripted 'MLM' lie, but maliciously adapted to fit the existing beliefs, and instinctual desires, of a wealthy elderly relative who suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder (manifest in extreme hoarding) and who knew that she didn't have long to live.

  17. David - the MLM cults have reeled in people from all professions. When I went to WWDB Amway meetings it was looked as a badge of honor to any IBO who managed to sign up a lawyer or doctor as if that would give them all some kind of credibility.

There are very few people that I knew in the Amway cult who I felt deserved their fate. 3 come to mind who were below the Diamond level. The ones I dislike deserve what they get!

One of the most surprising Ambots I heard of, was the editor of a UK national, woman's magazine. However, Britain claims perhaps the most ludicrous Ambot of all time.

This is none other than Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll (born Edinburgh, 20 April, 1948). Honest Anna, I'm not making this up. You can find him on Wikipedia, but there is no mention of his proud Ambot past.

According to completely reliable sources, the Earl quit 'Amway' after losing a packet of money and deeply-embarrassing other members of his family. He is currently a cross-bench member of the British House of Lords, Chief of the Scottish clan Hay, and hereditary Lord High Constable of Scotland. Not only that, but this former-Ambot is the son of Sir Iain Moncreiffe, 11th Baronet and Diana Hay, 23rd Countess of Erroll, who was educated at Eton College and at Trinity College, Cambridge. He succeeded his mother in 1978 as Earl of Erroll, and in 1985, his father as a Baronet.

Although this upper-class twit doesn't want to talk about it now, back in the 1990s, it was reported in a British national newspaper that the Lord High Constable of Scotland was soon going to be making £100 000 per year selling soap as an 'Amway Distributor.' The source of this remarkable news was the Ambot Earl himself.

Do you think we should hold a world-wide contest to find the most ludicrous Ambot of all time?

I think my candidate will take some beating.

  19. David - that earl is pretty good. Must have been a real up and comer IBO who signed him up and received plenty of praise from his upline for that one! I bet there is some prince or duke in Europe or Asia who has signed up with Amway at some time. Perhaps an ancestor of some disposed member of royalty. Or the descendant of an African tribal king who was captured 300 years ago and transported to the Americas as a slave. The possibilities are endless especially in the Amway land of make believe where anyone can lie and escalate themselves to whatever they pretend to be. I should have told our upline that I was a Russian princess who escaped.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
