Avoid Amway Scumbuckets or this will Happen to You Too!

A reader left a comment on a post I wrote last year. I thought it was an eye opener enough to deserve its own post because a lot of people might miss the post where he left the comment. Just more proof that no matter how high you climb the Amway pyramid the promised money is not there.

my wife ( now ex ) and I were double eagle rubies ., we won the diamond incentive award back in 1999( i think or 2000) anyway, everyone thought we were making money,, and we were....but mostly on tools,, and then on the bonus cheques...but most of all it was the yr end bonus chq that made a difference. however I was spending a ton of money travelling back east to work a let back there....loosing sleep. ,sleeping at airports..because I wanted to "do whatever it took" I have no regrets on doing what i did. however i do regret the type of person i became , just seeking attention and loving that other people would come around me at functions with their tape recorders wanting to know what i knew ( as if i was some guru) .. its not a humble ,walk soft type of business. at least not for my personality. The business is a good sound business. Its the people and the attitudes and the late nites and the people worshiping that was so so not right. and they say that anyone can build it. And i now do not agree...a shy, not aggressive person who has very limited funds and no desire to sell anything certainly can not build it...

I remember my upline bounced a bonus cheque on me when i was a 4000pv. and i still paid everone in my downline and no one reimbursed me for the bounced cheque...hmmm

THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WAKE UP CALL FOR ME RIGHT THERE....WTF !!

OK here’s my showing that I wasn’t paying attention at Amway cult meetings - like that’s a big surprise for any of my regular readers to hear!

I have no idea what is a double eagle ruby! I know there was an Eagle in my upline cocksucking son of a bitch that he was. Apparently he had 6 people in his downline. He sponsored our sponsor and for that reason alone I can’t stand the fucking little troublemaker. Our sack of shit Platinum was always bragging that the little cocksucker was going double eagle next month or within the next couple of months and then he’d be Platinum in 3 months. NOT!!!!! So I assume double eagle is 12 people in your downline. But I don’t know what the ruby part of anything is.

I also have no idea what a Diamond incentive is, though clearly former double eagle ruby got a lot further in “the business” than most ambots do.

Like other unfortunate victims of the Amway cult, it was the end of his marriage.

Let that be a lesson to all you couples out there considering getting involved in this pyramid scheme. The Amway scam business is more suited for single men with male chauvinist pig qualities. There is no place for women in the Amway good old boy’s club other than to support her husband.

This fellow lets us know several things of what its really like in the Amway business. First of all he’s reached a level where everyone thought he should be making money in Amway. I remember all those Scamway meetings I attended and the cult leader would be telling us that Platinums make $75,000/year, Emeralds make $125K and so on and higher and higher it goes. I’m not sure what the base mark income that the upline claims a double eagle ruby should be making but apparently it was another fable. However this is a level where he made money on tools and that was the bulk of the income plus a year end bonus check.

He spent a lot of money on travel expenses growing his business I suppose because the upline told him to do whatever it takes. Never question upline!

The biggest toll was Amway turned him into a person he did not like. He was becoming the person that I saw at functions. Money grubbing attention seekers who want to be worshipped by their cult followers.

This guy has some regrets which I have seen other former ambots exhibit too which is all part of the brainwashing process. Still brainwashed in some way after leaving Amway.  They still think Amway is a good business. They accept  that this is not the right business for them but don’t seem to accept that they’ve been scammed.

I like his honesty where he says you need a certain type personality to be in Amway and its not for everyone. People who are shy, not agressive, and don’t have unlimited funds should stay away from Amway.

Well everyone should stay away from Amway! Coming from someone who built this business once and apparently retired without seeing any of this fabled residual income rolling in forever, but still seems to think an Amway business is good for some people, he says its not for everyone.

Current ambots would just mock this fellow and say he didn’t try hard enough and taunt him that his wife left him because he wasn’t man enough for the Amway business.

Been there, heard it all. I know how those brainwashed Amway bastards think.

So much for the Amway meetings I attended where the cult leaders would tell the audience this business is so simple anyone can do it.

Upline bounced a check to him. No big surprise there. Our upline never had any money. Everyone upline up to the Platinum looked at my husband to provide refreshments for Amway meetings, buy snacks if they met at a coffee house, provide chairs, provide Amway motivational materials, etc, etc for everyone. When we tried to get our sponsor Captain Fuck Up to buy back the tools he declined saying he had no money. Big surprise there. Our upline had no problem violating Amway's policies particularly the one about how purchasing tools are optional and the upline is still obligated to help you build your Amway business and the upline is supposed to buy tools back if the IBO asks them to.

IF YOU DON"T BUY TOOLS THEN I WON'T WORK WITH YOU!!!! Heard that one at every Scamway meeting!

Here’s the thing. If someone writes you a bad check take it to the police and press fraud charges against the person and then file a claim against them in small claims court. I would not have hesitated to do that if anyone in our upline wrote us a bad check but then I didn’t like anyone in our upline. I assume this guy did like his upline and didn’t want to cause any problems for them.

His upline writing bad checks is all the proof we need that Amway IBO’s are liars, scammers, committing fraud, and breaking the law. Not to mention all round disreputable people. Everyone in Amway are identical ambots.

Avoid Amway scumbuckets at all costs! Or it will cost you lots of money and emotional distress!

  1. So even someone upline from a double eagle ruby (whatever the fuck that is) writes rubber checks? Hardly suprised. I found out the hard way that the 90 day money back guarantee was a bunch of bs. As soon as I saw the price of random household items like toothpaste, I asked for a refund of my ibo registration fee immediately. Never got it. Luckily they never collected any money from me beyond that. Still it was shameful that even one of my dollars got into their pockets. Those sons of bitches. Van andel and de vos I hope you are reading this: fuck your mothers and your fathers suck cocks in hell. But damn I wish I would have thought of that whole scheme. Theyre sitting at the very top of that pyramid. Theyre probably the only ones sippin margaritas in tahiti. Do us all a favor. Go down to Alcapulco Mexico and brag about how rich you are in the local bar. It would be an excellent opportunity to show the locals the board plan!

    1. Anonymous - You are not the first person to come here and complaing about Amway's phony refund policy. Most people find out the hard way about this bullshit Amway refund. The upline brags about the refund at all the Amway cult meetings but none of them have ever put it into theory. None of them signed up for Amway and quit 30 or 90 days later and has first hand experience at getting a refund. The only friend we signed up to Amway quit a month later after someone in our upline phoned to chew him out for not coming to a cule meeting. We know he quit because it showed on our account. We have no idea if he got the refund because he has avoided us ever since and years later he still won't talk to us. That's what Amway does to relationships! Destroys them!

I doubt Van andel and de vos are reading my blog but people who know them - their hired guns - do read my blog. I doubt they'll pass on your message! Would be nice though! They wouldn't go to Acapulco! They've scammed too many Mexicans. They show up south of the border they'd get cut up into tiny pieces and their body parts scattered some in places where they'd be deliberately found as a warning to other ambots! Anna Banana loves Acapulco! Though its been a couple of years since I was last there. I'll skip the bar and have the drinks at my private pool at Las Brisas! LOVE that hotel! Pink pink pink. Let me drive one of them pink jeeps. That is SO Anna Banana!

  2. In the state of Calif. if you bounce a check and don't make good on it, the injured party can take you to court for up to 9 TIMES the face amount, if my memory serves me correctly. Wouldn't that be a wake up call?!!

    1. Connie - see the way former double eagle ruby wrote check - cheque. No way would a Californian write it that way. Canada or Britain is my guess. To get 9 times the amount wouldn't you have to prove fraud was the intent. Easy to do with ambots because they're involved in a fraudulent pyramid scheme. They could just say oops my paycheck was late and my rent came out of my account and I feel awful that I bounced the check but not awful enough to have made good on it before we waited a year to get to court....

  3. Anna and Connie - It's deeply-ironic that the US government, and various other governments around the world, are all crippled with debt, but they are still merrily signing cheques, because the banking system keeps lending them more and more money at higher and higher rates of interest. Unfortunately, it's not just today's tax-payers who will have to fork out for this folly, its generations of future tax-payers.

In France, it is rare that anyone refuses to take a cheque. This is because if individuals, or businesses, issue a cheque without enough funds, or access to credit, in their current bank account to cover it, these individuals and businesses are excluded from the French banking system until their outstanding debt is fully-settled. That means that not just the account against which the cheque was bounced, is suspended, but all other current accounts and credit cards held by the same individual, or business, in France are also frozen. To make matters worse, French banks are allowed to charge offending account holders for all the added administration that this mandatory exclusion procedure incurs.

  4. Is there any reader in the whole world of your blog who takes you serious?
Your foul language, your comments on Amway when you write several times that you do not even understand what it is all about. Would any man in the world marry a girl who curses and is so un-educated? He was a wise man I guess, your ex..?

    1. At least we're not a bunch of fucking Amway prudes from Leimuiden, Netherlands. At least we're not judgemental Amway bastards who look down our noses at uneducated people. But then that's all about what it's like being in the Amway cult. This ridiculous belief that you're better than everyone else for no other reason than because you're in Amway. So why don't you take a flying fuck straight into hell asshole.

  5. I am English and I can assure you that here in Britain and throughout Europe, Amway is known to be a fucking con and bullshit organisation for twats, arseholes and dipshits. Overpriced dogshit material that any fucker can see is a rip-off. Hey, Amway people - go and fuck yourselves you useless shitcunts.

    1. Hi there English. And you nailed Amway right on the head. Over here Amway is the exact same thing as you said. So lets just send out another big old FUCK YOU to Amway!

    2. The overpricing is likely how the company can afford to pay everybody's bonuses, and you get to be a special snowflake if you actually start making money, because then you are the bait for new clients. You become the product that Amway markets.

      Delete
    3. Anonymous - Obviously Amway doesn't let their business secrets get out there but an Ambot showed up here and said that it was like 65% or 70% of the product's price that went into paying commissions and that sounds like it might be about right too because Amway's shitty products are outrageously overpriced. Because even though you might be the little guy at the bottom of the pyramid doing all the work making a sale, every asshole in the Amway upline gets a piece of that commission.

  6. I myself was just invited to a meet. Cool people, but many of them were not themselves rich. I only saw three of the fourty people there that genuinely had built income; two of whom I'm not even sure are successful. So basically, the only people there who could attest to it were the couple who constantly fly around the country speaking at these meetings. Interestingly, they paid for the flight themselves and were not making any money off the meeting; a wasted business opportunity. Even the uplines pay to attend; I know I paid the taxi fare both ways.

More trouble than it is worth, especially when at best, I become a spokesperson for Amway. Terrible return on investment unless you have a couple hundred zealots buying the products below you. And for the sales skill required, you may as well just start your own business and pocket the cash.

    1. Aaron - and its very possible that those 3 had other forms of income that got them to where they are, but they'll still bullshit the ambots into believing its all from Amway. Amway ambots are huge on the fake it till you make it song & dance routine. Credit cards, going into debt, whatever it takes to fake out others that "business" is good. The real story that the people who "paid for the flight themselves" and weren't making any money off the meeting were lying to you. That's the real way to make money in Amway by selling tickets to hear them speak. They wouldn't show up out of the goodness of their hearts. Its possible that they might show up for a smaller invitation only meeting to "help" someone in their downline, but they've tagged it on to an Amway meeting that they got paid for, the night before or something.

Fortunately you saw right through it. A waste of time and money. You just saved yourself from going through a whole bunch of financial and emotional distress.

    2. You naysayers are a bunch of clueless scumbags that don't know how to run a business!!!! Run along little scum buckets!!!!

    3. Oh great. Another dumb fuck Amway Ambot shows up to lie that real business owners don't know how to run a business. There is more real business advice throughout this blog on how to run a real business than you'll ever hear at an Amway "business meeting". When we were in Amway we only ran into one other real business owner who had a sandwich and coffee shop type place. The rest were just a bunch of broke Amway losers running pretend businesses.

Unknown - why don't you tell us what kind of business you own in Huntersville, North Carolina? And unless your last name is DeVos or VanAndel don't lie to us and try to bullshit us that you own an Amway business.

The thing with real business owners is we don't go around insulting everyone who does not own a business. Many people don't have what it takes to own a business and we've covered that many times here on this blog.

Thanks for dropping by to be such a fine representative of your Amway employer. I'm sure your bosses must be very proud of the glowing example you represent of their commissioned sales force.

  7. Such a bunch of idiots and lies - all of the people who decided not to pursue the business got the refunds. Amway is a billion dollar company, got balls to sue them? go do it.

    1. Anonymous from Sunnyvale - what proof do you have that this former double eagle ruby is lying? We don't even know who this person is. Everything he said is correct about the Amway experience. You said it's a lie so come back and be precise about what the lie is. I'm sure you won't because you dumb fuck Amway losers who go around accusing others of lying about their true Amway experiences can't back up your own lies. All you losers are is outraged that people share their true Amway experiences online and so you call them liars. Read the Peewee Herman handbook much? I know I am but what are you. What a bunch of fucking losers you Amway Ambots are.

Another big lie you wrote is "all" the people who decided not to pursue "the business" got refunds. So that's the lie they're bullshitting you with at Amway cult meetings these days? In compliance with the cooling off period laws - time period varies depending on your state, Amway chose the longest period of 30 days for everyone cause that's easier to administer. You can get a refund if you change your mind about ScAmway within 30 days. Amway counts on its cult leaders to be able to convince Ambots to stick around for at least a month and keep love bombing the Ambot. The upline abuse usually doesn't start for a couple of months when its too late for the Ambot to get a refund.

So Sunnyvale can you tell us why you're violating Amway's code of conduct for IBOs? It's like you're telling Amway to fuck off. Go back and read page 18:

An IBO complies with the letter and spirit of the Rules of Conduct, laws, and regulations in any market the IBO has a presence, and demonstrates cultural sensitivity given market conditions; and

An IBO doesn’t defend or support the conduct of
others who don’t comply with this criteria

Sharing our Amway experiences of financial and emotional distress in hopes that others don't get scammed is doing something good with our lives.

Don't like what you read here? Can't handle the truth about what others think of The Great Amway God? Then fuck off and don't come back.

  8. To the asshole Anonymous from Sunnyvale --

Anna Banana is in fact doing something very good. She's warning thousands of persons away from the fucking fraudulent pyramid scheme called "Amway." She (and many other bloggers) are responsible for the precipitous decline in Amway's North American profits over the last few years.

Things have gotten so bad for Amway that the company refuses to release separate income figures for North America. Those figures would show that it's becoming very tough to recruit new IBOs into the racket.

Neither you nor anyone else is going to stop us from telling the truth about the Amway rip-off. If you don't like what we say, just go fuck yourself. Got that, pal?

Have a nice day in Sunnyvale.

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
