- Our sponsor is an asshole! I realize for some people who get recruited into the Amway scam that their sponsor may or may not have started out being an asshole but as he got further brainwashed by the Amway cult for sure he’ll become an asshole or become an even bigger asshole depending on his pre-Amway asshole status! Our sponsor, aka Captain Fuck Up aka the arrogant prick, is someone Ambot has known for years. He is the most useless piece of shit I’ve ever met. Besides being arrogant some of his other finer points are he’s unreliable, irresponsible, stomps off in temper tantrums, and is asshole ugly. From there it goes downhill!
- Our entire Amway upline are assholes! Again, whether or not they began their Amway scam career as an asshole doesn’t matter, they soon are brainwashed into becoming master Amway assholes. They are bullies, particularly when it comes to putting pressure on Ambot to spend lots of money buying expensive Amway products that I don’t like and don’t use. Ambot would be pressurized to throw away even more money on various tools to “grow our business” and all the various expenses that go along with travelling to out of state functions several times a year. And we better not even think about missing an Amway function because the Amway upline assholes will bitch and bitch and bitch endlessly until they wear you down to spend money to waste your time going to an Amway function where the Diamond cult leaders gloat about their material possessions. Costs about $700/month to be a plugged in CORE Amway ambot. Getting back to our sponsor Captain Fuck Up, disliking him means automatically disliking anyone he knows. Assholes like to associate with other assholes. Stay away from Amway assholes!
- The fact that everyone in our Amway upline are a bunch of obnoxious assholes should be reason enough not to like them! Our upline assholes put a lot of pressure onto Ambot to go into debt, in his case that meant credit card debt. Those fucking assholes in our Amway upline were unable to get Ambot to convince me to sell our house, find somewhere to rent, and use the equity to pay off his credit card debt. That way he’d have more room on his credit card to buy more Amway shit! They also tried to get Ambot to convince me to take out a line of credit on our house for the same reason, to pay off the credit card so Ambot could start over buying more Amway shit. I mean fuck you assholes for messing with other people’s finances! Sadly I’ve read other stories on the Internet where other IBO’s weren’t as lucky borrowing money to fund their upline’s dreams and many former IBO’s have lost their homes and declared bankruptcy when they can’t repay the money they borrowed while they were in the Amway scam.
- Monopolizing all our time. Forget the often claimed 10 to 15 hours a week working the Amway scam. Ambot wasted way more time than that! He had to prospect every person he ran into telling them about this kick ass home based opportunity where you can make $75,000/year in your spare time and beg them to come to a board plan meeting all the while denying it has anything to do with Amway. Hours spent on the phone and text messages with upline. Two or three board plans each week at various downline/crossline houses or maybe a larger function where a Diamond comes to a nearby town once or twice a month. Lowball estimate 5 hours a night for these meetings. Weekend rallies happen about once a month where a Diamond comes to town and new pins are awarded. Depends if its a one or 2 day event. Say at least 10 hours but that could be doubled. Family Reunion, Free Enterprise Days, and Spring Leadership always seem to be held hundreds of miles away. Several hours driving each way and then at least 30 hours tied up for weekend events. And that’s a conservative estimate. How many other pissed off wives have sat alone home on their birthdays while their ambot rushed off to an Amway meeting? Not to mention not getting any support with household chores.
- Brainwashing. This is part of our upline’s strategy to separate Ambot from “negative” forces in his life which includes me and everyone else not interested in Amway. Our upline were the most negative bastards I’ve ever met going around spreading their predictions of doom and gloom and misery and the only way to escape this horrible existence is belonging to the Amway cult. Ambot stops thinking for himself and parrots everything the upline assholes say. Ambot accepts everything the Amway assholes say as the truth until he becomes conditioned to think that there is no way in hell this information could be wrong. He denies what is happening to himself and his life, separating himself from reality.
- Liars. Call it whatever you want - all Amway IBO’s are guilty of lying. They lie about their affiliation with Amway, their success, and any abuses that might be happening in their Amway cult group. The big lie is the tool scam and how the greedy upline cult leaders are obsessed with making money at the expense of their downline. Ambot wasn’t too good at prospecting because he’d break down quickly and tell prospects that this was Amway and then he’d lie and say business is going really good. All ambots are brainwashed to say that even though none of them are making money at their Scamway business.
My story of what its like to be married to an Amway cult follower. I expose the lies that our upline told and what happens at Amway meetings and functions. I leave the explanations of why Amway is a poor business opportunity or the tool scam to other bloggers. This blog mainly exists to curse out my former upline, aka the cult leaders, and to let everyone know what kind of idiots I had to put up with. Feel free to join in or live vicariously!

Reasons I Can’t Stand Our Amway Upline
7 comments:
Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!
If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
Anna, this isn't related to your post but I thought you'd get a laugh. Some young Ambots I know faithfully linked to a video their upline diamond posted showing the movers and shakers who'd been invited to a special weekend at his beach house. The video is shot at a grocery store where the invitees were loading up several grocery carts with steaks, beer, and a ton of junk food. I suppose the video is meant to inspire the downline but I bet I know who's paying for all that food! Who hosts a gathering and doesn't buy all of the food before the guests arrive? Greedy upline diamonds, that's who!

Chelsea - that is pretty funny! Inviting people over and telling them to supply the food for the party. Sounds exactly like an ambot/Amway cult thing.
DeleteThough I suppose its very possible that the Diamond is a vegetarian, therefore does not bring meat (steaks) into the house. Possibly does not like beer and doesn't keep any on hand.
I doubt it.
According to Amway's figures the average Diamond earns less money that we do annually. We don't have the overhead a Diamond does in trying to maintain a lifestyle beyond our means, but when we invite people over for a party we will supply the food and drinks.
That makes us different than those greedy upline Diamonds!
Ha! When I go to the grocery store my cart is already full of whatever the hell I want. Too bad all of their fast track incentives combined didnt even cover that trip! Im pretty sure no kids were allowed at that function either. It probably just sucked hard all the way around. Oh yea back to reasons why we cant stand uplines: because theyre a bunch of greedy fake assholes who expect you not to question them. And probably much bigger assholes than any boss you could ever have at any real JOB.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - if you were in Amway you would be doing the grocery shopping for your upline and paying for the groceries too. What a privilege those jackasses have assigned to you!
DeleteThose are sufficient enough for anyone to stay the heck away. In fact just think what these reasons would do if presented at the end of every board plan so prospects can make a really informed decision.
ReplyDeleteExAmbot - or they could send new recruits over to my blog before they sign up to make their informed decision whether or not this is the cult for them!
Deletethank you for this blog. it feels good to know others have gone throught eh same things as me being married to an ambot. after 8 yrs of marriage, im finally giving up and getting divorced from my ambot.
