Unable to Scam People to Join Amway?

Has everyone seen the ambot who dropped by to leave me a canned Amspeak response on my post How To Convince Your Husband To Quit Amway?

Anonymous said...

I don't understand....your husband is out there, working his ass off to build a business with Amway so that he can pursue his and his family dreams...and you are trying to sabotage it....explain it to me, please!!

http://bizmovie.blogspot.com/

This is someone who ended up at this post after going to Google and doing a search for “how do I convince other people when I’m not making any money in mlm”.

My anonymous friend from Malaysia is not so anonymous when he puts a link to his (her?) blog though he could be posting the blog anonymously under a pseudonym. I don’t know. I didn’t look. If I suspect its going to be a blog by an Amway lover extolling the virtues of this scam then I ain’t looking. Though I have a feeling a couple of my readers will look. Just about everyone here is more curious than I am!

He says he can’t understand why I don’t support my husband in the Amway business. Though he could have also been directing his comments at the first poster who left comments on that post. I would have thought that anybody who isn’t making money in an MLM would be able to figure that out the answer to that question all by themselves. Maybe his wife can explain it to him!

Besides why waste my time explaining something to someone who will not be back to read the response. As far as I know this is the first time Malaysian Ambot has shown up at my blog and only stayed long enough to read this one post and leave an intelligent canned comment.

I support my husband in a legitimate business. I do not support him in Scamway. I do not support him in a scam where less than 1% of IBO’s make money. The only successful IBO’s are those who have a snake oil salesman personality and are comfortable lying and scamming people. People who have a conscience, morals, or are too honest to lie will never, ever by successful at Amway.

For help at deceiving people to get them to Amway meetings read these posts:

P.S. You are supposed to lie and put on a happy face and tell all prospects that business is going good, big things are happening, and now is the best time to get on board. You’re obviously too honest if you’re telling people you’re not making money at Amway and this is not the right business choice for you.

  1. If Hubby chooses to start a drug-selling business, is the little wifey supposed to support that? Why not? He's out there night after night working his ass of to support his and his family's dream, isn't he? How about if he chooses to go into the Pimp business.? What a stud! This extremely worn-out argument about the 'little wifey' supporting her man (bats eyelashes) is dreadfully moronic.

    What a dumb argument.

Never once has a drive-by ambot come on to any of these posts and actually argued (intelligently) a business point. They only repeat the dumb shit they've heard from stage.

"YOu are crummy lazy losers who didn't know how to work a business and you were too lazy to work, and stuff."

You know, that 7th grade grammer crap. Good God, is everyone coming out of high school these days completely illiterate?

We beg of you to send us someone with the IQ of at LEAST a 16 year old. Please, no more Pee Wee Hermans.

And please, take a moment to diagram your sentences (at least in your head) before you hit the send button.

  2. i remember when i was not making money in scamway (which was all the time anyway.) if you asked a BWW/Gala ambot how much money he/she was making the standard answer was if i told you, you will not believe it. this lie line was invented by double diamond kumar shivaram.

not surprising! who will join a scam where participants work hard to make a whopping $7 to $20 per month! the whole thing was and is, a scam. what a croc of s#!t!

and the line "how long have you been in?" after 6-7 years it defeats the the swcamway lie success in 2-5 years and you are not near a platinum, forget a diamond. the answer was your success depends on your effort. yeah right. another lie because it isn't. it depends on ones ability to scam others, sell them snake oil and not bat an eyelid about it as you take their money.

  3. CT - there are family run drug businesses! Probably pimping businesses too all in the family!

They'll never show up with anything original to say. They're all brainwashed.

I didn't look at his website. Colin did and said its more embarrassing than Amway. I'm not quite curious enough to check it out though I am wondering what out there could be worse than Amway! Ha ha!

  4. ExAmbot - there's no need to @*#$&!*%! here. Bad language is perfectly fine on my blog!

You hit the nail on the head. Success in Amway depends on the ability to scam others, sell snake oil, and not bat an eyelid as you take their money. This business opportunity is only for liars and those who have no morals. If only they would be upfront about that right from the beginning there would be less anguish for so many people because they wouldn't get involved in the first place. It takes most people awhile to figure out they'll never make money in Amway because they're too honest.

  5. Anna;

I wonder if they still teach from stage how the 'little flower' (the wife) is supposed to support her man at all costs.

O.K., in the 1950's when very few wives worked, that may have been more applicable; but today with 70% of women working outside the home and helping pay all the bills and raising the kiddies, and doing the laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc., it has become almost insulting.

Let's reverse it, shall we? If the wife is not interested in the shitty amway scam, how about the little hubby supports her 100%? hmmmmmm????? Let's see the housework and childrearing shared 50-50. Let's see him do for her what she is expected to do for him.

They would insult the women from stage (who were in attendance at yet another for-nothing meeting, by the way) by saying if they weren't behind their men 1000%, they get not a nickel.

Kiss my ass, diamonds. There are many many women out there today who are the sole supporters of their families - dad can't be found. They've been forced to do it without you, now it's kind of tough to start pretending we can't breathe without a man in the home.

I believe a two-parent home is the best; but if it can't be that way, I'd say women have stepped up big time to carry the load. We are not slackers, by any means.

We work our asses off all day at work, and then go home to our second jobs, and the diamonds wonder why we're not thrilled to get involved in another scheme?

I got my life back when I walked away from amway. The relief was overwhelming.

For the record, I am not a man-hater. I have the greatest husband in the world and will defend him at all times; but when I had had enough of amway, he know not to push it.

I will always take his counsel, but this time, he knew it was time to let it go. I appreciated that about him.

  6. CT - they were still teaching that a couple of years ago so no reason to think they've stopped. Its all part of the Amway cult leader's vision to go back in time to the 1800's era where wives stayed home and did whatever their husbands told them to do. I don't think it was until the 70's that more wives started working.

  7. it's presented as such an honor to "bring the wife home." give me a break. some wives just want to create something of their own, money or no money, whether you call it work or not. i have come to appreciate differences in other people from me and that's just the way it is and always will be. and some people just don't give a rip about scamway or any mlm! ambots cannot get that into their thick-like-a-bullet skulls! annoying. wealth and success is not according to what some kingpin said - amount of money sparsely sprinkled with god, family, friends etc. because they worship the god of amway (fake), business is first priority, all else comes after (actions evidence so), their so called friends are superficial, if they are no longer involved in the scam the friends disappear. fakes!

  8. ExAmbot - I already was a stay at home wife the first time we went into Amway. Due to the Amway debt I had to go back to work for awhile to help pay it off. Fast forward 10 years Ambot wants to get involved in Amway again. I am NOT happy. I can see the writing on the wall that I'll have to go back to work again to pay off the Amway debt. This last time we lost way more money. I have not gone back to work so it takes longer to pay down the debt. Hopefully that'll teach him a lesson not to get involved in another scam MLM. We were debt free both times prior to getting involved so Ambot had lots of room on his credit card - which has now been shredded!

So if the wife is already at home before getting involved in Amway and then Amway is the reason she has to go back to work to pay off the Amway debt how pissed off is she going to be?

    PISSED!!!!

  9. It is simply astonishing that amway could still be teaching the same 1950's social-norms crap in 2011!

I wonder if they are still dressed in business suits and ties for men, and business skirt-suits or dresses at knee length or below with closed-toed shoes and hose for women. Who dresses like that anymore?

Would love to see how they are handling all the young-uns coming in with tattoos and faces pierced all to hell. Dresses so short they double as long shirts. Ain't that purty?

Can you just see the panic at the closed-door meetings dealling with what to do with this vampire-like generation who want to join the ranks of amway? The Lady-Gaga look-a-likes?

I've often thought of sneaking into a Phoenix meeting just for kicks. I'd use an assumed name, of course, like, Bambi, or Goldilocks, or some such street-prowling name. It would be fun to show up in jeans and a Tee-shirt just to see what I could stir up.

A girl can dream, can't she?

  10. CT - they're still dressed in business suits. I can't say for sure if women are wearing closed toed shoes and hose. I don't remember being told specifics on shoes and stockings. Our Platinum did go off on rants on the women who dressed like sluts. Now whether a woman looks like a slut or not can be subjective. A lot of women in their 20's who work at keeping their bodies in shape and are confident wearing skimpy outfits don't necessarily look slutty. That's just my opinion and that's on some outfits. Not everyone can pull off the tight mini skirt look. If you have an extra 20 pounds on your body it might just make you look like a chubby hooker. That same outfit on someone closer to their ideal weight might look really hot. People have different confidence levels on what they were. No one ever said anything to me about what I was wearing. If anyone said anything to Ambot about it he didn't tell me nothing. Probably knew my response would be to tell them to fuck off and mind their own business.

Somebody who lives about 2 miles from here dropped off an invitation to an Amway meeting in our mailbox. Well, they didn't say it was Amway but all the key words were there. Homebased business that brings in residual income working part time 10 - 15 hours/week distributing high quality products, meeting at 8pm. I can't remember what else was on the invite, chucked it. Ambot and I almost considered going just to stir up some trouble. We almost thought our former sack of shit Platinum would be leading it but we knew if he was there he'd order us out. Not before I could curse him out though!

  11. Height of Amway joke is attending a summer conference in Palm Dessert and all the "CORE" ladies including me were dressed in business suits and dont forget panty hose. Imagine how cheap they would have got the conference hall in Palm Dessert during summer.

Hot air was blowing out of everywhere and here we were withering in those nylon panty hoses. One more dumb thing that we did when we were in Amway.

  12. Hey is Shield's Date still open in Palm Dessert? I had one of their date milkshakes and I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day! I don't think I'd want to be there in the middle of the summer in a suit and panty hose. Wearing a swimsuit and lying in the shade next to a swimming pool with a good book and a cold drink - maybe!

  13. From Business Line

    Kochi, Aug. 6:

The police on Friday carried out searches at nine Amway centres in three districts in Kerala as part of the ongoing drive against money chain activities and cheating through multi-level marketing campaigns.

The team under Mr J. Jayanath, Superintendent of Police, Wayanad, searched the head office of the Amway at Kochi and also its office at Kottayam. The raids were also conducted in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Palakkad.

The police said that cases had been registered against the company at Kannur, Wayanad, and Thrissur following complaints of cheating.

Meanwhile, Amway in a statement said the police action has come as ‘rude shock' and surprise. A fair investigation demands that the company be notified about the nature of complaint received for such a sweeping inquiry, it said.

The multi-level marketing and direct selling company stated that it had been receiving complaints from distributors over the past one month that they were being called to police stations and being ‘harassed' to give complaints against the company. This is another step in the direction of ‘high handedness' of some police officials, the statement said.

  14. "Rude shock" that Indian authorities would see thru Scamway and take steps to avoid having their citizens financial abused by a no-win pyramid scheme disguised as a business???

The only "surprise", Amway, is that you've been able to get away with your illegal pyramid scheme for so long.

  15. Connie - I think Amway is on the radar of every country it descends upon to take scam the citizens. Hopefully more countries will take notice and take steps to refuse Amway to continue to operate in their country and rip off its citizens.

  16. Hey India why do you think a website that warns people about scammers is a good place to advertise? Especially on a post that's nearly 10 years old. Dumb fuck!

Comments are moderated but we publish just about everything. Even brainwashed ambots who show up here to accuse us of not trying hard enough and that we are lazy, quitters, negative, unchristian dreamstealers. Like we haven’t heard that Amspeak abuse from the assholes in our upline!

If your comment didn’t get published it could be one of these reasons:
1. Is it the weekend? We don’t moderate comments on weekends. Maybe not every day during the week either. Patience.
2. Racist/bigoted comments? Take that shit somewhere else.
3. Naming names? Public figures like politicians and actors and people known in Amway are probably OK – the owners, Diamonds with CDs or who speak at functions, people in Amway’s publicity department who write press releases and blogs. Its humiliating for people to admit their association with Amway so respect their privacy if they’re not out there telling everyone about the love of their life.
4. Gossip that serves no purpose. There are other places to dish about what Diamonds are having affairs or guessing why they’re getting divorced. If you absolutely must share that here – don’t name names. I get too many nosy ambots searching for this. Lets not help them find this shit.
5. Posting something creepy anonymously and we can’t track your location because you’re on a mobile device or using hide my ass or some other proxy. I attracted an obsessed fan and one of my blog administrators attracted a cyberstalker. Lets keep it safe for everyone. Anonymous is OK. Creepy anonymous and hiding – go fuck yourselves!
6. Posting something that serves no purpose other than to cause fighting.
7. Posting bullshit Amway propaganda. We might publish that comment to make fun of you. Otherwise take your agenda somewhere else. Not interested.
8. Notice how this blog is written in English? That's our language so keep your comments in English too. If you leave a comment written in another language then we either have to use Google translate to put it into English so everyone can understand what you wrote or we can hit the Delete button. Guess which one is easier for us to do?
9. We suspect you're a troublemaking Amway asshole.
10. Your comment got caught in the spam filter. Gets checked occasionally. We’ll get to you eventually and approve it as long as it really isn’t spam.
