Life Changing Event or Just More Amway Bullshit?

Some of the lines the Amway upline assholes say to pressure people to come to Amway functions:

Biggest function of the year

Not to be missed

Some of those statements could be applied to a Madonna concert! Or viewing the pyramids in Egypt.

The thing is between every Amway WWDB function those are some of the lines used by the Amway assholes to influence the cult followers to part with their money at a fucking stupid time wasting Amway shithole event.

There are endless Amway cult meetings held in a month but 4 times a year are major WWDB events where the Diamonds earn the bulk of their Amway income in the tool scam so they book a large venue to get as many IBO’s as they can to attend. The Amway Platinum and Emerald demons are usually the ones assigned to put the screws to the downline to ensure they fucking better get their asses to the function so the Diamonds can get richer.

The Amway assholes bullshit the downline into thinking its a once in a lifetime opportunity, that is until the next Amway once in a lifetime opportunity rolls around in 3 months.

This starts before the last function has ended. The sack of shit Platinum has his hand out wanting the cash for the next major function. This is a common Amway scheme. Gotta get that cash fast in case the ambot quits Amway sometime over the next couple of months. And if you take too damned long to buy the ticket to the next Amway brainwashing conference the upline will mock you until you come up with the money and buy the ticket.

The lying assholes in the Amway upline will lie to the cult followers and brainwash them into believing that they will be learning about leadership, building a business, valuable training advice, and other bullshit Amway propaganda.

The reality is the only thing that is different about the WWDB Amway functions is they change the name: Dream Night, Spring Leadership, Family Function, Free Enterprise Days FED.

There is no training, no business advice, nothing that will help people in a business Amway or anything else. The WWDB Amway functions are a scam. The whole point of holding them is for the Diamonds to make money not for any ambots to gain any business knowledge. The ticket money and commission from hotels is how those sitting at the top of the Amway pyramid make the bulk of their annual income. Now that those Amway assholes have the IBO’s money they have to come up with some kind of a show to keep the ambots entertained. Despite all the  bullshit promises that the Amway assholes said about what was going to happen at this event, the same thing pretty much happens at all of them. Family Reunion will have a few other scamming lying Amway assholes who have reached a certain level usually Platinum sharing the stage with the Diamonds. All those sack of shit Platinums do is thank all the fucking assholes in their upline. Boring shit that goes on for what seems like an hour or two but I think they’re really only assigned 5 or 10 minutes - it only seems like forever. Let’s skip past those bastards. The main reason the brainwashed ambots show up for these Amway functions is to swoon and worship the Diamonds the way their upline has taught them to behave when they come to one of these events and are in the presence of Scamway royalty. The Amway WWDB bullshit session lasts 12 hours or so. Keep the ambots up late and fill them with bullshit so they’ll agree to anything when they’re tired. One couple after another slinks across the stage and they brag about their houses, their sports cars, the luxury vacations they take, all their material possessions. Most of them thank god for bringing Amway into their lives at a time when he was digging ditches and she was slinging burgers at a dive and now look at them and all their riches. Then the next Barbie and Ken Amway Assholes slink across the stage and basically say the same thing except the jobs might be slightly different, always of the minimum wage no experience necessary type of labor. Sometimes they’ll show a video or slide show of their possessions. Whether or not they really own the stuff or its a staged picture shoot is unknown. Its not like you can believe anything that someone in Amway says anywhere because they’re the biggest fucking liars around.

A once in a lifetime not to be missed opportunity? Yeah? Only until the next one rolls around in 3 months.

No one needs to pay big bucks to listen to a bunch of lying Amway assholes. Just hang around Barnes & Noble long enough and an ambot will show up to bullshit you and invite you to a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The Amway Male Chauvinist Pig Club

The first time we were in WWDB Amway I didn’t get the impression that I was around a bunch of male chauvinist pigs. Between round 1 and 2 Amway had changed in the few years since we’d be in - and for the worst. The 2nd time I was immersed in a WWDB Amway cult that was plugged full of male chauvinist pig asshole ambots brainwashed to think this way by the great Amway cult leaders.

“Don't you want your wife to come home from work and be there for your children?”

That was one of the “lines” that our Platinum used to tell us to use when prospecting for new IBO’s.

There’s a sexist comment. Who says that all wives have - or want - children? Maybe they don’t want neither - no outside job, no children. Who’s to say that women who stay home MUST have children? Our sack of shit Platinum, that’s who. Male chauvinist pig!

Likewise who says that all wives want to come home from work? Maybe the wife doesn’t want to come home from work and is happy with her job so stop forcing that male chauvinist pig bullshit on her.

I should clarify here that with normal people who are not in the Amway cult just because a husband doesn’t want or need his wife to work a job and prefers she stay home doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a male chauvinist pig. Many men have good incomes and the family can live comfortably off the one income. In this day and age women still do not get paid what they’re worth and earn less than their male counterparts. Sometimes it doesn’t make financial sense for a woman to keep working. Sometimes her job is too stressful and the man should do whatever he can to help her quit her job so she can stay at home.

And equally the other way around too. Sometimes the woman has the better paying job and the husband would rather stay at home. Either way, whatever. Whichever one is staying at home taking care of the house and children or staying at home watching soap operas on TV doesn’t matter. Its a decision a couple makes together.

Don’t need no fucked up Amway upline telling them how they should be doing it. According to the cult leaders the Amway way is the only right way to do it and that is for the woman to quit her job first.

Our sack of shit Platinum takes women for granted. He doesn’t even put his wife first in his life. She got one upped by God. Actually they both got one upped by Amway. Somehow his house gets cleaned, the laundry gets done, the garbage gets taken out, the lawn is mowed, the garden is weeded, meals get cooked, the cookie jar is full, etc. Does he think some magical fairy is running around taking care of all of this?

His wife hasn’t worked a job in years. And he thinks thats something to brag about? Like he’s the first man in all of history whose wife does not work.

I get ambots stopping by my blog to leave their canned amspeak comments. These bastards are outraged that someone is out there telling the truth about what its like being inside the Amway cult. How dare any former cult member betray the cult! If enough people get the word out then they’ll have an even worse time signing up new recruits. In almost every comment left for me I get accused of being a selfish negative unchristian dream stealer who doesn’t want to see my husband’s dreams come true.

What the fuck! There it is with the Amway male chauvinist pig lingo again. Those Amway assholes and the good old boys club. Its all about the men. Its all about the husband’s dream.

Those Amway male chauvinist pigs refuse to accept that the wife might have dreams too. And if she does too fucking bad. Wives dreams are insignificant and should be ignored.

Its all about the man! Its all about the husband. Its all about going along with what he wants. Serve and obey. Fucking male chauvinist pig Amway assholes. That attitude went out the window about 100 years ago. Brought back to life in recent years by the good old Amway male chauvinist pig club. No wonder WWDB stands for World Wide Destructive Bastards - out to destroy marriages and families. Brainwashed ambots!

A lot of times a wife has different dreams than her husband. Sure they’ll have some dreams they share, always nice to have some things in common with your significant other, but some dreams will be different. Perhaps the wife dreams of being a prima ballerina but the husband has no interest in putting on a tutu and prancing around a stage. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t support her in her dream. Support can take different forms - financial or emotional or showing up and being there.

Maybe the husband’s dream is to become a skydiver. The wife does not like planes, does not like heights, and sees no point in jumping out of a perfectly good plane and hoping the parachute opens before you hit the earth. Maybe she’ll buy him a parachute jump for his birthday. So she supports him financially in his dream and maybe emotionally. Hard to say. If a wife has fears of jumping out of a plane she’s probably none too happy that her husband is jumping.

Kind of like Amway. If a wife has no interest in belonging to a cult and losing money and being brainwashed she ain’t none too happy that her husband is doing it.

The Amway male chauvinist pig club is all about getting the wife home from her job only because the upline says so not because the husband and wife have come to this decision together. The Amway male chauvinist pig club also says to make the husband’s dreams come true because whatever separate dreams the wife has are insignificant compared to her husband’s and don’t matter.

That’s the Amway male chauvinist pig club hard at work destroying marriages.

The wife has a better chance of retiring early and coming home first only if they are not frittering their money away on the Amway scam.

Amway in Disguise

Someone did a search on Google for “Amway in Disguise” and ended up at my blog so I thought it would be a good topic.

Amway in disguise sounds like something full of intrigue the stuff that mystery and suspense novels are made out of.

It could also describe something that is so fucking disgusting that it must be hidden and disguised.

When we were in Amway and prospecting potential IBO recruits we had to do our damnedest to avoid saying the A word. Deny that it has anything to do with Amway. Instead promote it as a business opportunity where one can have full financial freedom in two to five years by working part time ten to fifteen hours a week and have residual income rolling in for the rest of your life. Hook them and get them to an Amway meeting. Get the prospect in front of an Amway cult leader and they’ll do the rest of the work and reel in the prospect for you.

Here are some of the lines that we had to use to snag unsuspecting recruits. If they seem familiar I’ve used them in other posts:

1. I know a really successful businessman who likes to help others start their own businesses. Would you like to meet him?
2. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on a business I’m looking at. I really value your opinion and could use your input.
3. I’ve been spending time with some really sharp businessmen. One of them is giving a speech tomorrow night. Would you like to come and hear about the awesome business he’s involved in.
4. How would you like to be your own boss?
5. Have you ever thought about starting your own business?
6. Don’t you want to be free and not punch a time clock?
7. Are you tired of working a J.O.B. and making your boss rich?
8. Do you ever look at other ways of making money?
9. I’m in the process of expanding my business in the area and I’m looking for a few sharp guys who are interested in being financially free within the next two to five  years. Would you like to learn more.
10. I work with a team of multi-millionaires developing business online with over a thousand companies. We’re looking for ambitious guys who want to create a secondary source of residual income through a proven mentorship program.
11. Do you know anyone who might be interested in making a couple of thousand extra dollars a month working part time only 10 to 15 hours a week?

But then every now and then you prospect someone who asks “Is this Amway?” Gotta have some responses for that one!

2. We do sell Amway products but that’s only about 20% of what we sell. Everything else comes from over 2000 other companies most of which are Fortune 500 companies.
3. No its not Amway. We work with Benny the Bastard who owns Benny the Bastard Enterprises out of Miami. He owns his own consumer distribution company. Maybe you’ve heard of him?

Is it just me or does anyone else wonder why our Platinum brags about how 2000 companies can all be Fortune 500 companies???? Obviously math ain’t his strong suit!

So there you go. If anyone strikes up a conversation with you and brings up any of those lines it is Amway in disguise so tell them to fuck off.

An Ambot In Denial

SANDRA - You're a fucking liar! But what else do we expect from people involved in Amway? You came to my blog after searching for "Amway convention 2011 Las Vegas". Yeah right keep trying to convince us that you're not part of any group but only a brainwashed ambot would do that kind of search. This was the only one of my topics you read, nothing else in my blog. Life is wonderful as long as you're not involved in Amway.

She came back around 12:30 to see if her comment was published and if I’d responded to her. You think she went to the link Joecool provided? Unlikely.

People who own their own business want to get their name out there say who they are and what they do and drum up business. Not so with IBO’s. They’re too embarrassed to say they’re with Amway. Denial, denial. Lies and more lies.

They’ll bullshit prospects with some line about an online store or Internet distribution or some highly technical industry they’re involved in and want to meet for coffee. At the coffee shop they’ll show the Amway business plan all the while denying it has anything to do with Amway if they’re asked outright. Ultimately they want to get their prospect to a meeting run by their upline Platinum cult leader to close the sale and get them to sign up as an IBO.

I’ve been to enough Amway meetings that I know it takes the speaker at least an hour to say the A word. Some meetings Amway isn’t mentioned at all.

Do depressed people read my blog? Sure people who are depressed about losing their money in the Amway scam come here. People who are depressed because Amway has destroyed relationships with family and friends come to my blog. Reading me cursing out my upline might make them feel a little better. Knowing that they’re not alone helps them feel better. A person who is clinically depressed and has no connection to Amway is unlikely to randomly find my blog.

Nobody finds my blog unless they’ve done a few things. They were either on another blog written by a former IBO and followed a link to my blog or they did a search for something related to Amway and found my blog. Or they work for Amway Alticor offices in Michigan, California, Texas or Germany and have me bookmarked.

A person who does a Google search for “Amway convention 2011 Las Vegas” is not randomly pulling those words out of a hat. The only group of people using this search criteria has some interest in this function which means they’re either an Amway IBO planning to attend and looking for information or if the function has ended they’re searching online for glowing reviews written by other IBO’s who attended the brainwashing session. Someone who has no interest in Amway is not going to randomly choose those words and go to Google and do a search.

Writing “I am not part of any group” after doing a search for the Amway 2011 Las Vegas convention is an outright lie and makes you look like a fucking idiot like we need any further proof that Amway IBO’s are liars! The group you’re part of is Amway otherwise you wouldn’t have done this kind of search. Why lie about it? Because you’re too embarrassed to admit you’re with Amway.

Seeing as how one of the criteria to be an IBO is to be good at lying Sandra further lies that she read my blog. Nope. Only that one page about quitting Amway during Spring Leadership.

“Gosh I should be death instead”. Well some people do compare being involved in Amway as death. On the other hand many people end up at my blog by doing a search for something like death to Amway or death to Amway salesmen so stating you should be death is something that a lot of people would agree with. Better dead than being in Amway.

Once people quit Amway they realize that there is a better life out there. Life without Amway is wonderful. Life with Amway is hell.

This is someone who ended up at this post after going to Google and doing a search for “how do I convince other people when I’m not making any money in mlm”.

My anonymous friend from Malaysia is not so anonymous when he puts a link to his (her?) blog though he could be posting the blog anonymously under a pseudonym. I don’t know. I didn’t look. If I suspect its going to be a blog by an Amway lover extolling the virtues of this scam then I ain’t looking. Though I have a feeling a couple of my readers will look. Just about everyone here is more curious than I am!

He says he can’t understand why I don’t support my husband in the Amway business. Though he could have also been directing his comments at the first poster who left comments on that post. I would have thought that anybody who isn’t making money in an MLM would be able to figure that out the answer to that question all by themselves. Maybe his wife can explain it to him!

Besides why waste my time explaining something to someone who will not be back to read the response. As far as I know this is the first time Malaysian Ambot has shown up at my blog and only stayed long enough to read this one post and leave an intelligent canned comment.

I support my husband in a legitimate business. I do not support him in Scamway. I do not support him in a scam where less than 1% of IBO’s make money. The only successful IBO’s are those who have a snake oil salesman personality and are comfortable lying and scamming people. People who have a conscience, morals, or are too honest to lie will never, ever by successful at Amway.

Get Your Wife Free!

“Don't you want your wife to come home from work and be there for your children?”

I think its a sexist comment. Who says that all wives have - or want - children? Maybe they don’t want neither - no outside job, no children. Are they excluded from this Amway lament? Who’s to say that women who stay home MUST have children? Our sack of shit Platinum, that’s who. Male chauvinist pig!

Only women who have children are “allowed” to come home from work? Bullshit! That fucking Platinum is just another man who takes women for granted. Somehow the house gets cleaned, the laundry gets done, the garbage gets taken out, the lawn is mowed, the garden is weeded, meals get cooked, the cookie jar is full, etc. Does he think some magical fairy is taking care of all of this?

If the husband and wife are both working then they should have equal responsibility for all house and yard chores. On the other hand if either the husband or wife stays at home while their spouse is the bread winner then logic dictates that the one staying home would be taking care of the bulk of the house work and yard work. If they have children then there is more work involved. Its pretty much a full time job taking care of the house.

But how come the question is never reversed? “Don’t you want your husband to come home from work and be there for your children?”

Nope can’t say as how I ever heard that one from the sexist son of a bitch.

I’ve worked for a few different companies and whenever female employees went on maternity leave they very rarely returned to work - and none of them were involved in Amway. They figured out with their husband whether or not it made economic sense for them to return to work or stay home. A lot depends on which spouse has a better paying job, better education, better chance of earning a living. Or if they’re self employed, is the business income good enough for one spouse not to need to work.

If a husband does not want his wife working an outside job (and be there for the children if they have any) then they’ll figure out a way to do so. This might mean working overtime, a second job, or finding other ways to increase the business income. Despite what some lousy Amway IBO might pressure them into believing, becoming an Amway IBO is not the only solution “to get your wife to come home from work”. More precisely its a bad solution because of the 1% chance of success in the Amway business. Most IBO’s will lose money and then the pissed off spouse ends up going back to work to help get out of debt. 

There are men out there who have been brainwashed by their upline into believing the only way “to have your wife come home from work” is by becoming an IBO and they must accomplish this goal of getting their wife free or else they’re a loser. Totally brainwashed into believing that if their wife has a J.O.B. then he’s not man enough and he’s a loser.  Amway speak discounts any other method where a wife could retire early from her job. My mother worked until she had me and then she never worked a job ever again other than occasionally assisting my father with his business. Neither of my parents were involved in Amway and they retired early. Well, my mother many years before my father!

To any brainwashed ambots who parrot their upline by using the line “don’t you want your wife come home from work and be there for your children” when prospecting, are you a bunch of sexist male chauvinist pigs? Does your Platinum require you to regularly watch The Stepford Wives?

It really pisses me off when I see ambots spouting off about how Amway got their wife free like this is such a huge accomplishment and then throwing it in everyone’s face. Like no other man in the history of earth has ever had a wife who does not work a job.

“I got my wife free. Wouldn’t you like to duplicate me and get your wife free too?” I want to scream everytime I hear some bastard saying this and all I want to do is throw a sexist comment right back at them. The next ambot that uses that line is going to hear this: “Its the man’s job to provide for his wife. Why are you such a fucking loser that you haven’t been doing that all along? Why are you an even bigger fucking loser and involved in Amway?”

OK. I feel better now that I’ve got that one off my chest!

Some of those ambots - read into this our Platinum - have attitudes from another era when it comes to how a wife should be treated. But if you  throw an attitude from another era right back at them then they throw a hissy fit.

I was free from my job before the Amway dark days. So stick that in your hat and smoke it.

An Expensive Social Club

Joecool recently wrote something on his blog to the effect that if you aren’t earning money in your Amway business but are spending lots of money on Amway purchases and tools then its almost like you’ve joined an expensive social club.

I think that statement may apply to Ambot. The more money he spent on Amway products and tools, the more his new friends liked him.

People are busy spending time with friends and family. They’ve busy at their jobs or business owners may end up with some odd hours to accommodate clients. People with school age children are involved in their kids recreational activities or driving them to their activities. Add in grocery shopping, spending time at the gym, walking the dog, and other recreational pursuits. How about quiet time at home reading a book, on the computer, or watching TV. What about the not so fun stuff around the house like cleaning, laundry, mowing the lawn, and keeping the garden weeded. Most people have things to do that fill their days. We lead busy lives just like countless others.

If we weren’t already busy enough after Ambot wanted to do the Amway thing again we were constantly on the go, go, go. Often there would be 2 or 3 board plans in a week that we had to attend even though the same old bullshit we’d heard the night before we listened to again. This would tie us up from 7pm to midnight. Nothing like boring us to death so we’re ready to sleep. Not to mention any other seminars or rallies or other events the upline decided we should attend.

I remember being at a function and listening to a Diamond speaker who was showing the audience “lines” to use to pick up prospects. Say a prospect came up with the objection that “the business” wouldn’t work for them because they don’t have any friends. The Diamond says, then ask them: “How would you like to have some friends?”

The expensive social club reference triggered that memory.

Someone who doesn’t have friends may be interested in joining some sort of social group to meet people. But the purpose of being an Amway IBO is to find other prospects to join up and become IBO's too or to find customers to buy Amway products. So if the only friends you have are people already involved in Amway, there is no chance of getting any of them to sign up to be an IBO or to buy Amway products.

So even though we already lead busy lives Ambot decided we should be even busier. He had a whole new group of friends who were slyly influencing him to leave behind his old friends. He was full of self-importance whenever someone asked him to come over and he’d answer he was busy that night (Amway meeting). Not to mention the overload of text messages and phone calls that he immediately had to deal with from his upline.

I’m not here to suggest social clubs or how to meet new friends. All I want to say is if you are looking for a new group of people to hang out with there are many avenues to try. If one of your reasons to join Amway is to have a ready made group of friends that’s a bad decision. Amway is an expensive social club that will cause you financial and emotional distress. When you quit Amway that's the last you'll ever hear of these new friends fickle bastards that they are. These aren’t the kind of friends you need. This isn't the business venture you need.

Dishonesty - “lines” to use

Seeing as how IBOFB is so hot on the dishonesty issue I thought I’d put in some “lines” taught by the upline on tricking people to come to Amway meetings. Ambot kept very good notes. Unfortunately sometimes he couldn’t find his clipboard and helped himself to my organizer. I hang on to them because I never know when I might need to use them against some upline asshole.

“Give someone a line” means lead someone on, deceive with glib or exaggerated talk.

The above sentence pretty much describes every Amway IBO I’ve come in contact with.

At meetings we attended the IBOs were often berated by our sack of shit Platinum because prospects had not been brought to the meeting. Most people can’t find anyone to come to a meeting once they mention Amway. The sack of shit gave IBO’s suggestions on how to trick people into coming to a meeting without letting on its an Amway meeting. Yeah, that’s a real honest thing to do. What a wonderful upstanding honest company we’re associating ourselves with when we have to resort to dishonest techniques taught by our dishonest upline. Here are some of the “lines” he taught IBO’s to use when contacting or approaching prospects to get them to come to a meeting. And yes upline really does use the word “line” or “lines”. In addition to taking notes, Ambot recorded them too. Got him! This topic could also be titled “how do you know when you’re being prospected by the Amway cult”.
