Fuck You IBO!

It finally happened! Someone did a Google search for “fuck you IBO” and found my blog! You guessed it. Number 1 on the search engine!

Yes this is definitely the place to be if you want to tell any IBO you’ve ever met: “Fuck you!” Or live vicariously through me saying it.

Depending on your perspective there are different types of IBO’s to say fuck you to:

1. from the point of view of someone who is not associated with Amway and does not want to be associated with Amway and does not want to be hounded by Amway IBO’s
2. from the point of view of someone who has a spouse, family member, or good friend who is an Amway IBO
3. from the point of view of a former IBO who has found out the truth about Amway and the tool scam

So rather than say fuck you over and over in each sentence I’ll just say it once at the top of the list.

FUCK YOU IBO:

1.      for saying where else can you start up your own business for only $150 but neglecting to mention all the other costs once you’ve paid your start up fee
2.     for saying people who have nothing good to say about Amway are only trying to steal your dream
3.     for saying people who don’t support your Amway business don’t want you to succeed
4.     for saying “don’t say negative!”
5.     for saying buy from your own store
6.     for trying to break up marriages
7.     for saying the more meetings and functions you attend the more successful you will be
8.     for saying “You can’t quit now because you haven’t been in it long enough to succeed” no matter how many years you’ve been in Amway
9.     for hounding me to buy your shitty overpriced products
10. for lying about how the upline does not profit from the sale of Amway tools
11.   for lying about how you’ll only spend 10 to 15 hours a week in this business
12. for criticizing people who have J.O.B.s
13.  for saying you’ll always be broke as long as you’re working for someone else
14. for saying you must be on DITTO
15.  for saying you must be CORE
16. for being disrespectful
17.  for bringing misery to people’s lives
18. for saying you must always listen to tapes (oops I fucked up by saying TAPES!!! IBOFB will be in to leave a comment that tapes haven’t been sold since he was shitting his diapers and CD’s have been sold for the past few decades)
19. for forcing us to buy tools by saying you won’t work with us if we don’t buy them (even though the Amway literature says buying tools from your LOS is optional and your upline can’t refuse to mentor you and assist you to build a business if you don’t buy them)
20.for wanting your errands done for free
21. for saying attend all functions no matter what else is going on in your life
22. for not getting off my ass about recruiting me as an IBO
23.for getting bitchy if we question anything
24. for brainwashing us
25.for lying about how everyone in the upline is very successful

31.  for being bullies
32.for telling us to charge Amway products and functions onto our credit cards
33. for lying about Amway owning the Amway Arena in Orlando Florida
34.for lying about the health benefits of Perfect Water
35. for blaming people who don’t succeed in their Amway business as being lazy
36.for blaming people who don’t succeed in their Amway business as not trying hard enough
37. for underestimating the power of the Internet
38.for telling us to wear business attire to all meetings
39.for lying about how Artistry is one of the top 5 best selling cosmetics in the world
40. for telling us not to have any competitor’s products in the house if Amway sells a similar product
41. for telling us to lie to prospects so they don’t know they’re coming to an Amway meeting
42. for telling us to do what our upline tells us to do because they’re the only ones with a sincere interest in us
43.for lying about how you’ll be our best friends forever
44.for saying duplicate your upline
45.for telling us that self consumption is essential to our success in the Amway business
46.for forcing your personal beliefs upon us
47.for saying that people who refuse to be part of the Amway business are losers
48.for saying don’t do anything and don’t buy anything without first counselling with your upline
49.for telling us not to socialize with friends and family who are not in the Amway business
50.for saying “always edify your upline”
51.  for being annoying as hell
52.for lying about how you’ll buy back books and tapes (ah shit I meant CDs) if we decide not to build an Amway business
53. for lying about how we’ll collect residual income for the rest of our lives
54.for telling us to cancel our plans if you want to schedule a last minute business meeting
55. for saying “if the dream is big enough then the facts don’t count”
56.for berating us if we didn’t bring any prospects to an Amway meeting
57. for giving us “lines” to use to trick people into attending an Amway meeting
58.for holding late night meetings
59.for causing financial losses
60. for causing emotional distress
61. for scolding us if we miss a meeting
62.for being the biggest bunch of liars I’ve ever met
63.for being the greediest assholes I’ve ever met
64. for being the biggest troublemaking bastards I’ve ever met

OK I think I’ve said enough fuck you’s for now. If I keep thinking about it the list will keep growing and I have to stop this post sometime! Feel free to load up the comments with the many ways you want to say FUCK YOU IBO

Recent Search Criteria to Land On Married to an Ambot

My blog is pretty high on the search engines for just about anything related to Amway so I decided to put down what some of my searchers have been using to end up at my blog over the past day. Followed by my thoughts on that search!

“sex sex sex Amway big” - those Amway bastards ain’t getting sex because being in Amway is such a huge turn off that they gotta head to the Internet for their sex fixes

“XS energy drinks” - what can I say? Piss water!!!!

“Amway IBO” - seems a little on the tame side as far as searchers go

“Brad Wolgamott affair” - mind your own business you fucking nosy ambots!

“how to quit the Amway website” - how about just stop visiting there? Don’t click the link!

“Ron Puryear scandal” - I can’t nail down only one

“Platinum level income Amway” - whatever amount the lying sack of shit tells you. They lying Amway assholes like to throw around $100,000. They’re losing money though they won’t admit it - fake it till you make it!

“Amway summer conference 2012” - yup see Anna Banana for your Amway info cause its top secret info that you won’t get out of WWDB or Amway!

“Equipo Vision Amway scam” - I believe this is a Spanish speaking Amway cult.

“Amway Boise 2012” - yup still number one for ambots to find their info!

“Inspiring letters from Amway Platinums” - oh excuse me while I puke!!!!! Ha ha ha!!!!

“go to hell Amway” - Impossible! Amway is already there!!!!

“Amway CDs for sale” - why the fuck would you want one????

“Family Reunion WWDB 2012 location” - at least ambots can find that info from my blog because its very hard to find from their cult leaders or anywhere else on the Internet. Top secret location for big cult meeting!

“fuck Amway” - yup that searcher came to the right place!

“Amway Double X” - yup we’ve discussed this one a few times. Puke city!

“WWDB is a scam” - you got that right!

“Amway sex” - yawn!

“We hate Amway” - usually the searchers just say “I hate Amway” so I got a tag team here

“my wife is an ambot” - ooh, I feel for you guy. Maybe you should write a blog too giving the male perspective. You are in the minority. Usually its the husband who is the ambot.

“how do I cancel Communikate” - yup we have that covered here too!

“Amway free gift” - ha ha ha!!! Now there’s a laugh. And was a topic of a post I wrote so this search comes up often.

“quit IBO” - I ain’t quitting you!!!!

“Can I quit Amway through the website” - Amway makes it very difficult for IBO’s to figure out how to quit. The simple way is to stop buying Amway shit, stop attending Scamway meetings, and don’t renew your membership at the end of the year. Its not like you get a refund on your membership fee for the unused portion for the rest of the year.

“Ganesh Shenoy divorce” or various themes on that. A lot of nosy ambots out there.

“fuck Amway” - or did I already cover that one. Get it a lot from my searchers!

“kicked out of Amway” - oh you should be so lucky!!!

“Amway school sex” - Amway has schools for sex classes? Holy shit! Just one of those things you don’t really want to know about!

Amway IBOs Are Lousy Employees

I’ve been to enough Amway meetings where the Platinum or Diamond speaker shows contempt to anyone who has a job.

They sneer at people who have jobs. They put down people who have jobs. They criticize people who have jobs. They demand to know why IBO’s are still working for other people. How come their Amway business isn’t successful so that they can retire.

Amway cult leaders brainwash their followers into believing that J.O.B.s are evil and that nobody who is in Amway should suffer the injustice of working for an employer and make the boss richer. The Amway cult leaders go on and on and on why J.O.B.s should be hated, the boss should be hated, and the coworkers should be hated.

WWDB = World Wide Destructive Bastards and nothing brings the upline Amway assholes more happiness than destroying the lives of their cult followers. All part of the scheme to make them more dependent on the Amway cult leaders.

Soon the ambots duplicate their upline and sneer at people who have jobs and show contempt for people who work for someone else. These ambots hold down jobs themselves. In fact its how they can afford to be in the expensive Amway social club. When we were in Amway no one in our WWDB line other than ourselves owned their own business or were self-employed and very few crossline were self-employed.

Armed with the hateful things they have been brainwashed to think by their Amway cult leaders about people with J.O.B.s it doesn’t take long for their shitty attitude to infiltrate the workplace. Ambots criticize their co-workers and probably their boss because they’re all fucking morons for having a J.O.B. and working for someone else instead of themselves. They probably start complaining about how much they hate their job and they can’t wait until they’re finally free, thanks to Amway.

Better keep your mouths shut or that day might come sooner than you think! And you won’t be financially free when it does!

No workplace needs a fucking Amway IBO bringing the moral down and pissing off the other employees who have to listen to the Amway drunken IBO spout off their brainwashed bullshit.

I was amazed at the number of ambots in our line and crossline who became unemployed. I could certainly understand why their employers didn’t want to keep them around because all ambots have this brainwashed “J.O.B.s Suck” attitude. I never saw any of them find another J.O.B. while we were still in Amway and most unemployed ambots resorted to taking odd jobs wherever they could find them.

One of our friends found out when he hired an ambot that the bastard didn’t get much work done but wanted to be paid top dollar just for showing up and spending huge amounts of time on his cell phone, calls and texts. If that wasn’t bad enough he brought a boom box and blasted out the latest Amway CD from his tools order. That job didn’t last long for him!

I wouldn’t hire that bastard again either!

But then I wouldn’t have hired him in the first place! Never hire an Amway IBO! Their work ethic SUCKS!!!

Then there’s an ambot from Edmonton who showed up on my blog the other day to leave a comment that he can’t wait to be “free” thanks to Amway so he will no longer have to suffer putting up with his coworkers who are all a bunch of assholes. I bet his boss would love to know that! Not to mention knowing that his employee is fucking around surfing the Internet on a government issued computer for an hour (maybe longer, just an hour on my blog) instead of getting his work done. Yup Alberta taxpayers dollars hard at work at this government office.

This is exactly the type of attitude towards J.O.B.s that ambots are brainwashed by Amway’s cult leaders that often puts them out of work very quickly. Ambots have the attitude that working a J.O.B. is soooooo beneath them but out of the goodness of their hearts they will show up to bless their boss and their coworkers with their presence but you better not expect them to actually do any work while they’re there. Oh they still want the boss to pay them for showing up but they’ll be too busy conducting Amway business to get anything else done.

Is that whole showing up routine. Like when you show up at an Amway meeting and the sack of shit Platinum tells everyone they are winners just by virtue of showing up. And if they religiously show up for the next two to five years then they will become rich beyond their wildest dreams and Amway will send them gazillions of money just because they showed up.

I would never hire an IBO for any job for the reasons I’ve already listed. They’re negative toward work, they waste too much time on the phone of Internet, they want to crank the volume on Amway CD’s, and they have a bad attitude. You pay somebody to get a job done you want them to do the work and not fuck around with texting, phone calls, surfing the Internet, recruiting prospects, selling Amway shit, blasting Amway motivational CD’s, and otherwise being annoying.

Lazy ass ambots need not apply!

Ambushed by an Ambot!

I wanted to share a comment left in my post about buying tickets for Puryear Family Reunion in case some of my readers missed it.

It just shows that nothing ever changes in Amway. The same pitches are going on today that were going on 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and probably since time began with the Amway pyramid scheme.

I separated his/her comment into smaller paragraphs to make it easier to read and to insert my own comments in red!

I went with my friend (IBO) to one of his meetings after getting ambushed on one of our morning jogs.

Ambushed? Check. Ambot sneaky ass strategy.

He was babbling on and on about this year’s family reunion thing coming up July. I guess it’s a “must attend” function or convention (or something…WHATEVER).

Family Reunion coming up in July? Yup. WWDB Amway function. Another “must attend” brainwashing convention. Aren’t they all? Yawn. Ambot trying to build up some excitement so he can be one of very few IBO’s who actually brings a guest and that makes him look all big and important to the upline that he worships.

For starters, let me admit I’ve never before seen such mediocrity in my forty years on this planet!

Mediocrity? That’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever heard anyone say about Amway!

He insisted I borrow and listen to a couple of cd’s from some ‘money-guru’ he says he knows personally. I’m not really into listening to anything that’s not accompanied by some kind of music…and of course makes sense to my mood at that moment.

Those CDs are the shits! Especially when they’re cranked as loud as they can go. Sounds like we’re out in the boonies under a big tent with a preacher screeching a sermon at us.

Well anyway, back to the meeting on Friday night, we get there and of course, the place is pact! There are no more chairs, one of the best-dressed guys in the back of the room ushers my friend’s ‘sponsor’ to give up his seat so I’ll have a chance at enjoying the speaker’s slander.

Sounds like someone on the chair committee fucked up!

This ‘meeting’ felt more like a revival of some sorts to me than anything close to a business meeting. I guess there wasn’t any religion involved, yet it was carried on in a fashion resembling that of religious doctrine.

I guess they held off on the religion because they had a rare appearance of an outsider at this Amway meeting. Usually Amway meetings are peppered with religion as is the norm for any cult's meetings.

After being formally introduced to most of the attending IBO’s in the room one of the attendees (seemed rather prospected), and his wife were being badgered by a group of IBOs to attend that July convention –thing, in a matter of seconds the rest of the group joined in and the guy who urged my friend’s sponsor give up his seat to me walked right in front of them to make certain they would go (he kept insisting they attend in a very weird manner).
Amway ambots ganging up on someone and badgering them? Oh say it isn’t so! Not only are those bastards good at group love bombing but they also gang up to dole out the abuse as needed.

He and a few others (they seemed like the diamonds in the group) carried themselves extremely comfortable! After battling with that couple, he made his way to me and asked a few question about my employment (I lead Pioneer-A medical equipment distribution center for medical schools). Impressed, he seemed to veer towards my personal ambitions, at which I admitted I was going to medical school this fall.

Yup the old Amway FORM strategy that is also used by high closer salespeople to find out more about the victim and put them at ease before going in for the kill.
F - Family
O - Occupation
R - Recreation
M - Money

Before moving on, he suggested I attend this ‘ function’ insisting “I might learn something” and commented that my friend’s sponsor was someone going places and I should maybe meet up with the sponsor and him for coffee some time. I told him no thanks, that I just did this as a favor to my friend whom seemed relentless about this ‘industry’. He became uncomfortable with my comment and with a smile corrected me indicating “this is not a company…it’s a world-wide opportunity for independent business owners with BIG dreams and not afraid of getting their hands dirty”. I smiled back and nodded “most-definitely”, thinking how pathetic this all was!

Everyone in Amway is ALWAYS "going places". Usually straight to the poorhouse and divorce court! Ambots always get uncomfortable when confronted with the truth. You can bet your friend got reamed out later on for being “negative”. The reason you're getting your "hands dirty" in Amway is because of the dirty money you're making scamming victims in this pyramid scheme.

Anyway, a little after 11pm…I told my friend I was heading home, he asked what did I think about the people and the testimonials and I replied they were fine. He asked about my availability to get together for coffee during the weekend and I turned him down telling him I’m not really a “deodorant and soap-door to door kind of guy”. Now, he didn’t show offense to this, but I’m certain he’d love to have retaliated instantly, instead he asked for my cell-phone number and or my email, I gave him one of my email address in case I want to humor myself someday soon. He insisted though, we definitely HAVE TO TALK, and that they could use someone like me in their venture (I’d rather drown myself than tolerate another one of these pitches).

Yup ambots always want to go for coffee and they’ll bring along their sack of shit Platinum to close the sale and sign up the victim as an IBO.

And......Better dead than an ambot!

And from marriedtoanambot let’s just send another big old FUCK YOU out to Amway Scamway and their scammer army of Ambots.

How Many Ambots Does It Take To Change A Lightbulb?

I hope everyone is having a good April Fool’s Day!

I’ve resurrected a joke I left in comments a couple of months ago just in case some of my readers missed it.

How many ambots does it take to change a lightbulb?

The entire “team”!

A lowly newly recruited IBO who still has enough room on his credit card to buy an overpriced piece of shit Amway lightbulb.

Another lowly newly recruited IBO who will be sent up the ladder first to wash down the area. Free IBO slave labor!

Another lowly newly recruited IBO who has been assigned to provide refreshments - XS piss water and shitty Amway food bars.

5 IBOs who have been assigned to be a committee to figure out what to do with the old lightbulb.

Another 5 IBO’s who have been assigned to pray that the spirit of darkness has not descended upon this home to spread negativity.

The Eagle who asks permission from the Platinum if they are allowed to change the lightbulb.

Someone from crossline who is a specialist in changing lightbulbs but first permission must be granted from the Emerald for him to fraternize with the crossline enemy team.

The crossline’s Platinum who is only showing up to ensure no MLM espionage is going on here.

The ambot’s Platinum who shows up to whine and bitch that he could be spending time with his family and instead he is here to “help” his downline and “bless” the lightbulb once its installed.

The Emerald who shows up to tell all of them he doesn’t believe in change.

The Diamond who sells a motivational book on how to get it done.

One negative dream stealer who claims its a mathematical probability that it can’t be done.

You know all they had to do was find one woman who could do the work of 20 men. Who would then point out the blatantly obvious that the light isn’t even burned out it just needed to be screwed into its socket a little tighter! And then point out the even more blatantly obvious that there were already extra lightbulbs in the cupboard that were stocked up the last time there was a sale at Lowe’s so they didn’t even need to go out and buy those expensive shitty bulbs from Amway!

8 Things You Shouldn’t Do If You’re An Amway Ambot

Well there’s a whole lot more than eight things an ambot shouldn’t do but I saw this article titled 8 Things You Shouldn’t Do At Work and decided to find a way to make it apply to Amway ambots. Except that ambots will never follow these guidelines because they’re a bunch of arrogant assholes who think they’re better than everyone else because they’re in Amway. Being polite, respectful, and courteous to others does not apply when you’re in the Amway cult.

  1. Talking too loudly on the phone - Yup all those rotten lousy ambots full of self importance at being a “business owner” have a phone plastered to their ear EVERYWHERE yapping away loudly so everyone around them can tell how “important” they are doing business on their cell phone. Get a clue you fucking ambots! Nobody wants to listen to your side of the conversation! Go somewhere else and pretend to be big shot dicks!
  2. Listening to loud music or videos - AAACCCKKKK!!!!! I could just scream whenever my Ambot or another ambot insisted on sticking a CD into the car’s player or their portable unit and crank up the volume! FUCK!!!!! Turn off that fucking piece of shit! The rest of us who aren’t brainwashed ambots don’t give a shit about what that fucking Diamond has to say! Where’s the sledge hammer??????
  3. Messing up the (kitchen) auditorium -  Ambots are slobs! Every Scamway meeting we attended the ambots would bring overpriced snacks - XS cat piss drink, (not)Perfect Water, and shitty food bars. They’d leave their trash on the floor under the seats when they leave. Is it so difficult to pick up your fucking Amway trash and carry it outside to the nearest garbage can? Fucking ambots with a sense of entitlement - Oh the arena has hired a janitor to pick up after us. I’ll give you a little message from that janitor. “Fuck you ambot slobs!”
  4. Bringing your kids into the office too much - I had trouble with this one until I read down and article substituted kids with spouse or friends. So lets just go with:
    • Bringing your wife to Amway meetings too much - especially when your wife don’t want to be there. Nobody wants to watch their significant other being brainwashed into a cult and watch their bank account dwindle and their debt increase. Leave her at home or there will be hell to pay somewhere down the road!
  5. Crowding everyone’s inbox - Everyone in our World Wide Destructive Bastards line had to sign up for a Yahoo Group account so the cult leaders could send messages. Yeah like we don’t get enough junk and spam showing up in our inbox without Amway’s fucking cult leaders adding to it. Same thing with text messages. Never ending deluge!
  6. Being a Debbie Downer? - what the fuck I’ve never heard that term before. Bottom line it means someone negative. Ambots are the most negative people I know. Always going around predicting doom and gloom. This business and that business and the other business are all closing down, going bankrupt, whatever. Everyone will be dead or broke by the time they’re 65 - except of course for Amway ambots.
  7. Texting in the elevator - Or texting anywhere else! Those fucking Amway ambots always got their cell phones either on a car or texting trying to look big and important. Fucking morons! Those texts from the upline go on late in the evening often the wee hours of the morning and then start up again around 6am. Mostly our sack of shit Platinum. Fuck you asshole just because you drank a bunch of XS piss water and can’t sleep get off your fucking phone and give us a break!
  8. Dressing Inappropriately - what’s with this wearing a business suit to a BBQ? What’s this with wearing a business suit at night? What’s this with wearing a business suit to a cult meeting? Those fucking Amway ambots can’t figure it out that people can dress casually and comfortably and not look like slobs. Its not all about the suit! Its all about the control issue when you’re being brainwashed by a cult. Wear a fucking suit cause I said so and I’m your cult leader so you better fucking listen to me!!!!
No ambot will ever follow these guidelines. Ambots have their heads so far up their asses that they don’t see how everyone looks at them as a bunch of arrogant obnoxious assholes.

And the one thing you should do when you are no longer in the Amway cult? Apologize to everyone you treated badly because they would not support your phony business in the Amway pyramid scheme. Apologizing to everyone who you pissed off with the above 8 points is a good start.

I Won’t Work With You If You Don’t Buy The Amway Tools

Amway’s literature glosses over how some of their line of sponsorship groups sell motivational items. As a disclosure the Amway literature states - and here I’m paraphrasing - that purchasing these motivational tools is optional and that your upline is still required to help you build an Amway business whether or not you purchase the motivational tools.

Its kind of Amway’s bullshit way of distancing themselves from the tool scam.

Bottom line is none of those groups and here I’ll just pick on our line WWDB - World Wide Destructive Bastards - are able to sell any of the items on their tool scam list without running it past some head honchos at Amway’s head office for their approval of the item first. Really can you imagine if some Diamond says something on a CD to the effect of “I recommend you don’t buy XS Energy Drinks because they taste like cat piss!” Amway would fire the bastard and a Diamond CD like that would never get approved. Or if there’s a video that shows a Diamond doing a load of laundry comparing Tide with SA8 and the clothes washed in Tide come out cleaner! Yup. There’s a reason why Amway’s head office approves anything sold to the masses in the lines of sponsorship. They are very much aware of the tool scam but put in this little bullshit disclaimer on their literature.

Our Platinum didn’t give a flying fuck about violating Amway’s rules. He said at every Amway meeting “If you don’t buy the tools I won’t work with you.”

Of course that meant the ambots would buy tools at a feverish pace to stay in the good graces of their cult leader. They worshipped him and coveted his affection and if he wanted them to blow all their money buying useless Amway motivational CDs and books, their only question was how many?

Once I noticed that disclaimer in Amway’s literature - and this took me a few months - I phoned the head office to file a complaint against our sack of shit Platinum who was forcing IBO’s in his downline to purchase tools holding a threat over their heads about refusing to help them build an Amway business. As usual I was dealing with Amway’s help desk, better known as the unhelpful desk or the I-don’t-give-a-shit department. Their standard response went to the effect that they weren’t responsible for what is said at Amway meetings.

I mean what the fuck! Then WHO is responsible for what is said at Amway meetings? Excuse us for thinking Amway’s head office would give a flying fuck about one of their Platinums breaking the rules. Well you know when ALL the Amway Platinums are breaking the rules - because there’s no doubt in my mind that other Platinums use the same threat - Amway’s best course of action is not to take any action. Amway’s head office ain’t going to make waves with someone who might be running $25,000 worth of Amway products through his downline every month.

So even though Amway’s literature states that IBO’s are not required to purchase tools and the upline is still required to help the IBO build an Amway business whether or not the motivational tools are purchased, Amway refuses to enforce their own policy or take action against offenders.

Turn a blind eye to the tool scam!

Well I’m not turning a blind eye. I’m here blogging about the abuse we took from our Platinum. Not everyone loves Platinums as much as the people who work at Amway’s head office. People at Amway’s head office think Platinums should be worshipped and spoken about in glowing terms. They must find it really hard to turn a blind eye when they read my blog that tells it like it is when it comes to describing a fucked up Amway Platinum. For some oddball reason Amway’s preference is to let former IBO’s post all over the Internet about their experiences with Amway and their upline instead of making things right when they receive complaints. Amway prefers not to take action when they get complaints and would rather read on the Internet about a scamming lying sack of shit Amway Platinum. So one more time I send out a big old FUCK YOU to our Platinum!

And I continue to warn people about the dangers of getting involved in Amway and having to put up with an evil, lying, scamming, sack of shit Platinum.

You Didn’t Try Hard Enough!

“You didn’t try hard enough!” Is the battle cry of brainwashed ambots.

I’ve heard it lots of times. At Amway meetings and especially since I’ve been writing this blog. Some brainwashed ambot who has been religiously studying at Amspeak College shows up to accuse me of not trying hard enough.

However not one single ambot who I know personally or who enjoys reading and commenting on “negative” blogs like mine has ever once defined the criteria of what is “trying hard enough”. Or for that matter what “not trying hard enough” is either.

My ambot husband wanted to succeed at this Amway business, even though the odds - with a 99% failure rate - were stacked against him that he wouldn't. More than the promised financial freedom with the gazillions of dollars in residual income that would magically show up each month in our bank account, success in Amway would mean basking in the bliss from the Amway cult leaders that he adored so much.

All over the Internet are blogs and forums from former Amway IBO’s who say pretty much the same thing. They worked hard, put a lot of hours and effort into building an Amway business, and despite doing everything their cult leaders told them to do and being CORE it didn’t work out.

Similar to the ambot battle cry of not trying hard enough that is also the same flimsy accusation they fling out at former IBO’s who didn’t sponsor anyone - because they didn’t try hard enough.

Some Amway IBO’s sign up due to pressure from whoever the recruiting ambot is - more than likely a family member or good friend. Anyone else and they would have probably told the ambots to go fuck themselves. These unwilling IBO’s paid their $150, got their start up kit, and that was the extent of their Amway involvement. They never had no intention of putting in any work, just wanted to help out the person who hounded them into signing up and get them off their back. Those are not the same people who get the word out on the Internet about how they were scammed into the Amway cult and tell their story of what really happens when you’re an Amway IBO because they really have no idea what happens if their only involvement was paying the registration fee and telling the sponsor to fuck off and leave them alone.

My Ambot worked hard and put in plenty of effort to build an Amway business. He spent hours glued to the computer taking the Amway university program. He spent hours studying the Amway literature and product magazines. He memorized everything. He could answer questions about the Amway board plan or Amway products and knew as much or more than his upline. He spent hours listening to tapes. Oh fuck. Make that CDs! Every time I say tapes instead of CDs IBOFB shits his diapers and demands to know where I found tapes from since no one’s made them forever! Ambot read books that his upline pressured him to buy. He spent many hours each week hounding prospects to come to meetings. He went to every Amway meeting, rally, seminar, and major function. All those meetings ate up at least 50 hours a month and if a major function out of state for the weekend was in there, easily over 100 hours a month attending Amway meetings including travelling to them.

Let’s not forget the hours each week he spent talking on the phone and dealing with the endless text messages from the fucking upline assholes.

Ambot easily doubled, if not tripled, Amway’s estimate of 10 to 15 hours per week once all the meetings, listening to tapes, and studying Amway is added up.

Ambot put in plenty of time and effort and his upline still rode his ass accusing him of not working hard enough. He was told the reason he wasn’t succeeding at the Amway business was because he was lazy and not trying hard enough.

Let’s see. Someone investing at least 100 hours a month into any project is not a lazy person. They are on a mission and determined to succeed and accomplish their goal even when the odds are stacked against them, like Amway’s success rate of making around 100k/year is a fraction of less than 1%.

Uh dumb ass ambot husband. That’s less money than you make with your legitimate business. And more hours invested in Amway than your legitimate business. You going backwards just because you’ve been brainwashed by some lousy fucked up Amway cult leaders?

What kind of motivation techniques is the upline using accusing people of being lazy, not trying, not working hard enough? This is clearly more than my Ambot’s upline because so many former IBO’s have the same story that their upline said the exact same thing. And clearly is still being taught today judging by its pretty much in every comment left on my blog by some angry brainwashed ambot.

“Didn’t try hard enough!”

Yeah? Well fuck you!

What exactly is the definition of “trying hard enough” when it comes to Amway? Clearly it is spending more than 100 hours a month attending Amway meetings, functions, prospecting, etc. It is clearly spending more than $1000/month on Amway and Amway tools like my ambot husband.

And how does the fucking Amway upline motivate their cult followers to keep trying? Oh wait. Those bastards do not motivate. They brainwash. Like the good Amway cult leaders they have been trained to be, they scold, they mock, they punish, they blame. Even more than wanting to succeed at an Amway business, the followers want to please their leader. They try harder, they put in more effort like 100 hours a month wasn’t already trying hard enough. The ambots are scolded and belittled time after time when they don’t get results. The Amway cult leaders blame the ambots for their own lack of success.

Never blame the Amway system designed for failure and Amway tools and overpriced Amway products. Blame the ambots instead! They didn’t try hard enough.

Fortunately, many IBO’s get tired of this degrading treatment and quit “the business”. Now the only thing they have to do is try hard enough to keep one step ahead of their Amway upline who will be hopping mad that they have lost this stream of income.

Escape the Rat Race or become a Rat-Faced Amway IBO?

Want to start the New Year by finding a new career and becoming your own boss? That goal could be on some people’s New Year’s resolutions. Whatever you do don’t get involved in a scam like Amway or another MLM where less than 1% of the victims make money. And the only way they make money is by taking advantage and scamming money from their downline. There are other careers to consider, many that have smaller expenses than Amway. In the Amway scam it costs an average of $700/month to buy Amway products to reach minimum PV, buy monthly CD’s and books, attend functions, and travel expenses.

I read an article on Yahoo called 8 jobs to escape the rat race.

Many of these jobs listed can be done from your own home and seeing as how most people already own computers and cars they can get started fairly cheaply. Or at least the same cost as spending a year in the Amway hell hole throwing money at the great Amway gods who sit on top of the pyramid. I’ll do a quick comparison. After a year most people quit Amway and leave with nothing to show for it except debt, a deflated bank account, unhappiness, and emotional scars. Investing in yourself in a legitimate business opportunity can bring happiness, a new career, and possibly financial independence.

So here are the 8 jobs to escape the rat race that I read on Yahoo. I know people who do some of these jobs. I’ll list them off in the same order they’re in the Yahoo article:

1. Yoga teacher - I’ve done a lot of yoga classes and know several teachers. I know one teacher who rents a hall to hold classes several times a week and who also travels to her clients who don’t want a classroom experience. Some like to do yoga in their back yard or at the beach or other location to get in touch with nature. The person in the Yahoo article sells yoga videos. I’m not sure what kind of training is required to teach yoga. Most teachers I know have been yoga students for a long time and then just moved into teaching as a way of keeping themselves fit. Perhaps yoga studios and gyms require their teachers to have some sort of accreditation which can cost a few hundred dollars but teaching yoga independently may not require anything more than years of studying and sharing that knowledge. Drop in yoga classes cost about $10. Coincidentally the same amount as paying to go to an Amway meeting. The benefit is a yoga class lasts an hour opposed to Amway meetings that drag on for hours. Yoga classes are very quiet with soft background music and only the instructor speaking quietly helping the students through the poses. Unlike Amway meetings where the attendees are screaming “Yeah!” “Freedom!” “Hallelujah!” etc.

2. Massage therapist - There’s nothing like a good massage and I know several masseuses. Some have a mobile business and will come to your house with a folding massage table. Others work out of spas. And another has a home based business so people come to her house for various massages. They all charge about the same, about $100/hour once tax and tip is included so its pretty good money. They’ve all taken training to become massage therapists and learn various types of massages and dealing with injuries and the courses cost in the $5000 to $10,000 range to become a masseuse. So I would say for about the same amount of money most IBO’s waste in a year in Amway they could take classes to become a masseuse and have a lifetime career earning around $100/hour, choosing their hours, and possibly fairly little overhead once they’ve bought their equipment.

3. Technical writer - I don’t know anyone in this field. Expanding it out further there are all kinds of writers and most people can do this kind of business out of their house. There might be some classes to take, cost unknown, probably varies depending on what kind of writing but probably no overly formal, expensive training if one already has a talent for writing.

4. Make up artist - again this seems to be the kind of career that one could take training at or just years of experience and having a knack for this kind of work. I do not know anyone who is a make up artist but expanding it further I do know of a hair stylist who has a business set up in her basement. She went to hair cutting school years ago and I think its just a knack for styling hair, kind of like other artists. Years ago another friend of mine went to hair dressing school but had to drop out because she was allergic to coloring treatments so its not for everyone. Here I want to add that being an Amway IBO selling overpriced, low quality, lousy selection Artistry cosmetics and calling yourself a make up artist does not count!

5. Internet tutor - Not an occupation I know of anyone who does. Branching out I know someone who runs a home based computer repair business. He offers pick up and drop off service. I don’t know if he took any training or if he’s just one of these natural computer geeks who’s good at taking things apart and fixing them. Makes pretty good money doing this.

6. Social media consultant - Ah, now this is the kind of work that IBOFB does. Companies hire people like him to give them an Internet presence mostly hitting social media sites like blogging, commenting on other blogs, Twitter, Facebook and make them look good. Most companies want a positive image out on the world wide web and I see company consultants trying to solve customer service problems, offering giveaways, running contests, making apologies and trying to fix problems, that kind of thing. IBOFB has an uphill battle trying to take a company with a tarnished reputation and in trying to turn the image around has only succeeded in making himself and the Amway corporation look like a bunch of assholes. Those assholes have not made any attempt to do the right thing and refund people’s money and apologize for upline abuse. Their strategy is to lie, deny, and point fingers. But what else do you expect from scammers? Other social media consultants do a much better job but that comes from dealing with reputable companies who care about people and doing the right thing. No special training required, just have to be good at social media and good at dealing with people. Or suck at dealing with people and trying to straighten out problems as in Amway and IBOFB’s case! But then Amway is one of those rare companies who doesn’t give a shit that their victims are sharing their stories on the Internet and has no interest in talking to dissatisfied customers, fixing the problem, and refunding their money.

7. Private chef - A friend of mine runs a catering business mostly she can handle on her own or sometimes she has one or two people she brings in for larger events. She does this either in her own kitchen or if a hall is booked and has a kitchen there she might do some of the cooking on site. She also provides meals that can be frozen and then taken out and thawed, baked for people who have busy lives. She didn’t take any chef classes, just has a knack for cooking good meals.

8. Personal trainer - I know someone who is a personal trainer and runs a mobile business going to client’s homes or gyms. As weather permits she also runs fitness classes in local parks. Again low overhead but she did take classes and get accredited as a fitness instructor. Not sure how much those classes cost her to take, lets say around $5000. This is less than what some people waste a year chasing the Amway dream.

So I conclude that for about the same amount of money that people throw at the great Amway god in a year, they can start up their own business, often running it right out of their own home or going to client’s homes. And have a lifetime, or at least many years, worth of income generated from doing this business. Most IBO’s quit Amway in less than a year with losses of $5000 to $10,000.

New Year’s resolution? Stay the hell away from Amway and try one of the above careers. Your sanity and your bank account will thank you!
